Oh No! Not Again.

Putin "didn't figure out the plan", this "plan" was in force since 1945 and the guy who figured it out was Stalin. Fact is, he knew it already in 1939. West eager to finish Russia as a great power – John Mearsheimer.

The US political scientist argues that President Putin has figured out the plan and has every reason not to trust Western leaders.

The only difference have been 1980s and 1990s when USSR took the path (originally formalized in 1975 in Helsinki but conceived in 1960s) of "peaceful coexistence" between the West and USSR, which resulted in dissolution of said USSR, collapse of the socialist system and participation of Yeltsin's criminal gang in destruction of Russia.

Mearsheimer really needs to update himself on WW II and how and by who Nazism has been crushed and why today Stalin is increasingly venerated in Russia because population at large can see how right he was viewing the West as an existential enemy of historic Russia. All this, mind you, despite incessant anti-Soviet and anti-Stalin propaganda in Russian media and among the so called "creative class". Putin is a product of the system which KNEW always what the combined West was up to and even before Putin's "arrival", Russia understood what was transpiring--hence Primakov's Doctrine, a radically anti-Western geopolitical vision which has been realized now.

Yes, I Spoke About It ...

 ... for many years.

The EU has failed to learn the lessons of history by once again gathering under a Nazi flag to attempt to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Tuesday. Lavrov was responding to remarks by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who on Monday declared there were “no more range limitations” for weapons sent to Ukraine by the West, including Germany. Merz has also vowed to turn the German military into Europe’s strongest conventional force. “Europe has once again found itself a Nazi flag by committing to a completely misguided, disastrous venture of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia,” Lavrov stated. “To hear from the current German leader that Germany will regain its position as the leading military power in Europe, just after we have celebrated the 80th anniversary of the defeat of Hitler’s Nazism, is quite symptomatic. History, apparently, taught these people nothing.”

Correct, nothing could be learned when one is moved not just by ignorance but by all-consuming hatred, much of it covered up by political expediency of post-WW II narratives. France was as Nazi as was Germany, hundreds of thousands of French Wehrmacht and SS volunteers is a well known fact, so is Vichy. Czechs provided Wehrmacht with up to 30% of its vehicles, Ukrainians distinguished themselves as genocidal sadistic formations killing civilians such way that even some SS people were shocked. Finns want to forget that their army played a critical role in the siege of Leningrad.

You see, they don't learn, because you cannot change your cultural DNA in which Russians are viewed, as they always have been, as Asiatic subhumans. They still believe that Russians somehow want to possess urine-reeking dump of Paris or enjoy gay-parades in Hamburg. They have no clue, as usual. Russians are not coming. They don't want to, nor do they need to. Europe is a drab pauper.

Yes, George--we knew it happened already in 2017.

Some Visuals ...

... of "trophies" from VSU in Kursk.

Combined West IS what is shown here. Some more, some less. That's Europe. And here is an observation from Patrick Armstrong where he arrives to the conclusion that visceral hatred of Russia is organic to Anglos. He bases his conclusion on the historic evidence from the Crimean War.

Take Britain for example. At the moment London is the principal actor in the anti-Russia/pro-Ukraine camp; before that Cold War opponent; then ally against Hitler; then variable; then ally against Germany; then opponent in the Great Game; then enemy in the Crimean War; then ally against Napoleon and back and forth we go until the first and reasonably amicable trade contacts in Elizabeth’s time. From one to the other as interests dictated. But a month ago I read something that made me wonder if maybe the Russians had a point. It was Orlando Figes’ book on the Crimean War and I was astounded to see the same anti-Russia tropes that we see today.

Remarkably, it was Crimean War where the United States stood firmly behind Russia.

... with scarcely a dissenting voice, the American press and public appeared to conclude that the world was picking on its overseas friend, Russia. President Franklin Pierce… all but went to war with Britain and France on Russia’s behalf. U.S. Navy crews rescued the crew of the Russian ship Diana in the Far East. The U.S. Government furnished Russian forces with arms and sent a whole shipload of gunpowder to the defenders of the Siberian coast. Three hundred Kentucky riflemen offered to go to the Crimea, where volunteer American surgeons were already serving with Russian forces. The Russian Embassy in Washington D.C. was flooded with requests for letters of marque from American citizens who wanted to enter the service of the tsar as privateers against Britain. Frank Golder, no Russophile, would later write of the Crimean War, ‘By the time it was over the United States was the only nation in the world that was neither ashamed nor afraid to acknowledge boldly her friendship for Russia.’ The behavior of the United States during this war unquestionably impressed the Russians and strengthened the goodwill between two nations.”

But I also stress in my Disintegration book:

The Crystal Palace was a cast iron and glass structure which was erected in Hyde Park in London to house the 1851 Great Exhibition, a forerunner of international Expo events, which would serve as a place to showcase the achievements of participant nations. The Queen opened this 1851 exhibition, emphasizing that it was above all a “peace festival” intended to promote friendly competition between nations. But as Alan Palmer noted:

But Victoria and (prince) Albert were out of touch with the public mood, for the thousands who flocked to Crystal palace delighted in specifically British achievements and were content to cast curious glances of patronizing approval on what had come from overseas…

The exhibition was also marked with growing Russophobia, which was spurred by Tories and Whig businessmen who deplored the incursion of Russian traders into the areas which Britain considered her traditional markets, specifically in the Far East and Eastern Mediterranean, among others. In the end, British suspicions and displeasures with Russia, sublimations of their imperial policies, resulted in the Crimean War, which initiated a sequence of events which inextricably contributed to the Russian revolution and influenced the outcome of World War II—a defining event of both the 20th and to a large degree the early 21st centuries.

It was always there. It merely went to Eleven after WW II with USSR emerging as the superpower while Britain losing her empire and finding herself reduced to the America's vassal state. Today, UK is fast becoming a third world country and is confined to a small island off the western shore of Europe. With the exception of Rolls Royce and English Premier League, it is the nation which is simply insignificant in military and economic terms. They support 404 Nazis and this is only natural for the UK. Some exceptions merely confirm the rule. Per Canada--you saw everything you needed in Canada's Parliament--this is who they are as a country.

Points Of Interest.

Yes, this is a great interview of Colonel Macgregor to Judge, but Judge's quip about Air Force and Army at 28:50 is as hilarious as it is accurate))

Now to a point that Acqua brought to our attention and that fits extremely well in my thesis that American "realists" are nothing more than collection of American exceptionalists--a euphemism for imperialists--with milder more aesthetically acceptable manners. These were and are the guys who played all along into the narrative of Russia's weakness and decline (no, Mearsheimer is not alone marked with this dubious distinction) which created the impression among uncultured and badly educated Washington establishment that it can fight and win a war against Russia. Now, that the outcome of the SMO (I stress again--Operation) is not (it never was) in doubt for the combined West, we have one of those "realist" outlets which is adorned in its writing staff with such amateurs and Russophobes as Anatol Lieven and others coping with the outcome. They wet dream, they wet dream big and here is a wowser from the (former) academic staff of the US Naval War College by Lyle Goldstein. Goldstein proposes to Trump Administration:

Since Donald Trump’s reelection, his campaign promise to quickly end the Russia-Ukraine War has seemed increasingly out of reach as the situation in Ukraine continues to deteriorate. It's hard to imagine that dispatching more arms to Ukraine and slapping more sanctions on Russia will be successful at achieving peace. The Russian army continues its slow but steady advance, so Putin may well have concluded that his country should push for a more complete Russian military victory and defy any near-term Western peace overtures. However, the incoming administration has an opportunity to break from the status quo and entice Russia to end the war. This should include incentives with respect to the Arctic — an issue guaranteed to capture Russian President Vladimir Putin’s attention. Such an option could also prove attractive to Trump, who approaches the world through the lens of a businessman looking to strike big deals.

Putin’s participation in a November ceremony launching the new nuclear icebreaker Chukotka elicited little notice in the West but demonstrated the Russian president’s laser-like focus on developing the Arctic region. The vessel is reported to be the largest and most capable icebreaker in the world at 567 feet in length and displacing 33,500 tons, with two nuclear reactors that provide 350 megawatts of power, allowing it to break through ice nearly 10 feet thick.

Such ships do not come cheap, and the Chukotka is priced at about half a billion dollars. The Chukotka is the fourth in a series of nuclear icebreakers, with another of the same class, the Yakutia, also nearing completion and a fresh keel due to be laid down in 2025. In October, an even more ambitious class of nuclear icebreakers received the green light for production in a shipyard near Vladivostok, costing $1 billion, an astronomical sum in today’s Russia.  The destination of the icebreakers is the Northern Sea Route (NSR), a shipping route that runs north of Russia and connects Western Europe to the Asia-Pacific. This year, a variety of new records have been set in the NSR, including for the largest ever container ship, which traversed the NSR in September, and the most oil ever transported.

For starters, I have news for Goldstein:

1. Do not measure anything Russia produces in US Dollars--it is a fool's errand, a method invented by the white board academic frauds from the Wall Street and Ivy League economics departments, precisely the thing which brought about geopolitical defeat of the combined West which turned out to be military and economic paper tiger.

2. $1 billion, while a large sum of money, is by no means something dramatic or astronomical for Russia and her budget. E.g. non-existent and over budget (and already delayed) US Navy's new SSBN of Columbia-class WILL cost around $9-10 billion per a single sub, for the same price Russians already built EIGHT (5 operational, 3 getting ready) state-of-the-art SSBNs of Borei-class, which carry weapons which make SLBM Trident -II D5 look like a backwater.

Goldstein should know this, he taught at the USNWC. In the end, it is a respectable educational institution. And then there are THESE guys.

And not only--Russia's Arctic research and development programs dwarf anything combined West can even dream about--after all; it is all about capability. Goldstein does refer to them, somewhat ... but then arrives to a completely out of the blue conclusion about North Sea Route (NSR).

Yet despite incremental progress, Chinese and Russian analysts are aware that the Arctic passage will never achieve its true potential without Western backing.

What? I understand where Goldstein comes from and not all of it is bad, but that is a complete delusion. In fact, the growing Russia's military presence in Arctic, including both ground and naval component, is designed precisely to prevent the West from any "backing" of the Arctic passage. Russians know damn well what "true potential" of this passage is and are going it alone. Not to speak of the fact that Trump "lifting sanctions" on Russia (he was the one who boasted about being the most "anti-Russian President" in his first term) is altogether from a parallel universe. Russia is done with the West, period. Combined West lies, cheats, steals and will continue to do so and the only conversations with it is possible with these things in the background.
Or these
Or these.
These are the only things that matter, no matter what Trump's plans are. He lied again today about "negotiations" with Putin (in Russian). He cannot live a day without self-aggrandizing.

Some Comments...

 ... from me with Nima.

Ryabkov defines US "elites" as:

My fourth book is precisely about it. On average US "elites" are highly uncultured and uneducated people whose foremost feature is creation of the alternative reality. This, most likely, is the result of US higher education, or rather its degeneracy across the board, because most of US "elites" are children of well to do class, who never experienced real life and serious difficulties and have no moral reference points in their lives. Hunter Biden comes to mind, as does Trump, or majority of US "academe" which has been utterly corrupted by sinecures and pandering to upper class' sensibilities, real scholarship be damned. Add here grotesque religious views and doctrines of a large portion of America's protestant sects and cults and voila'. As Ryabkov concludes:

”As a matter of fact, it is irrelevant for us who the next US president will be,” he explained. “No chance for the improvement of the situation can be seen, considering the fundamental anti-Russian consensus of the American elites.”

Lavrov echoes today:

Well, I would say that this is for more than "one generation", because the European politics is a dumpster on fire and until it burns completely out leaving only smoldering remnants, no any meaningful contacts are possible, but then the Europe as we knew it will be gone and I doubt there will be anybody to talk to still--I do not exaggerate when I say that the West (as in Europe) is over. We observe this process in progress as I type it. Which makes me really cringe when reading such news:

PARIS — France’s decision to invite Russia to attend the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings has stoked tensions with allied nations as leaders prepare to gather on the Normandy beaches on June 6. Last month, Paris caught Western countries off guard when D-Day organizers announced they were extending an invitation to Moscow even as Russia launches a fresh offensive on Ukraine. Officials from the United Kingdom, the United States and two other World War II allies expressed concerns over the move, raising questions ranging from the symbolic nature of the occasion, protocol issues and queries about diplomatic engagement with Russian representatives. The White House is not pleased about the invitation, two administration officials told POLITICO. “We would defer to the government of France, which organizes the commemoration at Normandy,” one of the officials said. “But perhaps this will remind the Russians that they actually fought real Nazis once, not imaginary ones in Ukraine.”

As was noted by a few REAL American WW II scholars, there would have been no Normandy Landing if not for the Soviet Union and Red Army. There was also a reason why in Tehran Stalin demanded American, not British, general to lead the landing. But since Anglo-American WW II history is primarily accurately constructed confabulation which for at least three generations "educated" American "elites" (UK is a terminal case, all their WW II "scholars" are primarily of the level of Anthony Beevor, that is the level of a sewer), you wouldn't expect anything from US diplomats and military but arrogance and ignorance. After all, we all know that Patton defeated Hitler and that his 3rd Army's battling 10 operational German tanks in Lorraine is a peak of the military art. Many still believe in those military fairy tales by Hollywood and as US (and British) strategic "planning" in 404 demonstrated--it was done by amateurs.

Obviously, such revelations from no less than Washington Post from 2015 will be increasingly erased in the West:

Don’t forget how the Soviet Union saved the world from Hitler

No worries here, they will forget. Already did. West has the whole industry set up by defeated Wehrmacht and SS which provided talking points for generations of what passes in the West for statesmen, military and government bureaucrats. It is not going to change until the very end, which is near. The US had about 80 years (an instance in historic terms) to get it right, it failed and learned absolutely nothing.

Was Difficult To Imagine Otherwise.

Pretty clear.

Translation: MOSCOW, May 7 - RIA Novosti. Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine are possible on Moscow’s terms, while the readiness of both Kyiv and its Western curators for the negotiation process is not yet visible, LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky told RIA Novosti. “Possible - on our terms. Ukraine and the Nazi ideology, of which this puppet regime is the bearer, is losing. Therefore, if they are ready to negotiate on our terms - complete denazification, demilitarization and much more, which we have already put forward as a demand in 2022 - in In this case, we can think about it,” Slutsky told RIA Novosti in response to the question whether, in his opinion, negotiations with Ukraine are possible. He noted that Vladimir Zelensky’s decree is still in force, which prohibits him from any negotiations.

I want to remind people who continuously worry about Russia somehow yielding to combined West and starting negotiations. Apart from the obvious ad nauseam statements from Moscow that the West is not ready to negotiate, keep in mind this critical clause--with the consideration of the realities on the ground(c). This is critical, because this is the condition which terrifies West (nobody counts 404 and what it wants), because it is the doorway to de jure unconditional surrender. I am not talking about just geography, I am talking about operational-strategic situation on the theater of operations and we know now that the West exhausted its resources completely. It was de-fanged in the most brutal and merciless manner. It still can send a few tanks or artillery pieces here and there, but proverbial COFM (Correlation of Forces and Means) is decisively on Russia's side.

Now another set of lamentations follows. Walter Russell Mead demonstrates yet again that all those "shiny" degrees in "strategy" from any US higher learning institutions aren't worth shit and are nothing more than degrees in hodgepodge collection of military-political facts, much of which are not even facts at all. Walter Russel Mead is a classic example of such ignoramus--a requirement for writing for WSJ.
Seriously? Somebody has to explain to those "academics" that it is fucking 2024 and not 1924 with those magnificent iron ships of the line with their 16 inch guns blowing the shit out of defenseless tribes. The United States wanted the war--she's got one. Technological reality is a bitch and two can play the game of proxies. If you know what I mean. Recall this wonderful definition of the change in the negotiating position:
Did Walter Russel Mead and his colleagues shyster-"strategists" watch this wonderful movie? It is very instructive.

Some Good Humor...

Very good in its direct style. Paige Spiranac is one of the most stunningly beautiful young women in the world, but now she became a geopolitical meme)).

This is really good: Damn Russians use secrecy as a weapon... Oh, no!

It's understandable that the Ukrainians and their Western bosses are upset: last year every week they publicly announced what they were going to do: attack in the direction of Crimea to cut the Russian troops in two slices, recover Artemivsk (Bakhmut), occupy the other side of Dnieper close to Kherson. It was honest information, not a trap, they really tried to do everything they said. The Russians could have reciprocated, they think by being so kind eto inform them of their intentions. But no, they're mean, they keep their mouths shut. It's like war is a secret business. Oh wait, wait, wars, before the Ukrainian originality, war indeed have always been a secret business. In the past, they didn't warn Napoleon's armies that they were planning to burn down Moscow: they let them advance on the great city without so much as a yellow alert. The orange and red alerts only flashed when Napoleon and his warriors were so close to the city that they could warm themselves in the flames. Later, they failed to warn the German high command that they would not abandon Leningrad or Stalingrad.  As a result, Goebbels' propaganda machine repeatedly announced the capture of the two cities while the fighting continued in the urban centre of both of them. All to make Goebbels go green of anger, of course. And to make him say: "This was it, this was it" just to recognise later: "There are still skirmishes, but well, at some point they'll give up".

Read the whole thing. Interestingly, Bernhard also posted today in the same vein:

This is because average Western media personality not only has no integrity, due to most of them, top-bottom, being paid shills for the "current thing", but 99% of those "experts" are dumb as fuck. So it is an explosive mix of human venality and being professional ass-holes with professional and academic efficiency of the high-school paper level editor. Or, for that matter, equivalent of Al Bundy's famous "four touch downs". In high school football.

This Is Exactly What...

... Naryshkin was talking about.

Translation: MOSCOW, March 7 – RIA Novosti. In Karelia, a terrorist attack by Ukrainian special services involving a citizen of Belarus was prevented, the Public Relations Center of the Federal Security Service reported. “The FSB of Russia on the territory of the Republic of Karelia prevented the preparation of a terrorist act planned by the Ukrainian special services with the participation of a recruited citizen of the Republic of Belarus born in 1974, who was a member of the nationalist formation “Kastus Kalinovsky Regiment” banned in Belarus and was on the interstate wanted list,” says the press release. release. According to the FSB, an agent of the Ukrainian special services collected and transmitted data on transport infrastructure facilities and executive authorities in the region. The DSP clarified that the criminal, acting on the instructions of his curators, removed weapons and an improvised explosive device from a cache previously equipped for him in order to blow up one of the administrative buildings in the city of Olonets. During the arrest, the attacker opened fire on security officers and was neutralized. Security forces and civilians were not injured. A ready-to-use IED made from the PE-8 plastic explosive (made in the UK), an M-6 electric detonator (made in the USA) and a household timer, as well as a Makarov pistol and ammunition were seized at the scene. A criminal case has been opened regarding preparation for a terrorist attack.

This activity will continue, and, in fact, will only increase because this is the only way combined West, especially Anglo-American part of it, are capable to do anything at all--attack civilian infrastructure and kill civilians. So, the fine line between acts of sabotage and pure terrorism will be increasingly blurred. Terrorism is the weapon of the weak, US and, especially UK, which militarily is a non-entity, are weak. Plus, the atrocity in Gaza increasingly washes away any remnants of morality, however minuscule to start with, of Washington and London who are, essentially, throwing a tantrum due to recognition of their complete inability to compete and to fight Russia conventionally. Different leagues, really. It is systemic and is endemic in economic and political systems of this version of capitalism which is done--Voennaya Mysl (Military Thought), a legendary magazine of Russian Ministry of Defense now fully recognizes the current conflict as a consequence of West's systemic failure. The process is unsustainable anymore and collapse could only be managed, not contained.

Pepe's Excellent Piece.

It is what we all have been talking (and warning) about for many years. Pepe writes about Emmanuel Todd's book La Défaite de L’Occident (“The Defeat of the West”). It is excellent review by Pepe.

Now Todd, in what he has defined as his last book (“I closed the circle”) allows himself to go for broke and meticulously depict the defeat not only of the US but of the West as a whole – with his research focusing in and around the war in Ukraine. Considering the toxic NATOstan environment where Russophobia and cancel culture reign supreme, and every deviation is punishable, Todd has been very careful not to frame the current process as a Russian victory in Ukraine (although that’s implied in everything he describes, ranging from several indicators of social peace to the overall stability of the “Putin system”, which is “a product of the history of Russia, and not the work of one man”).
But it is this Todd's point Pepe reports which is almost funny:
1. At the start of the Special Military Operation (SMO) in February 2022, the combined GDP of Russia and Belarus was only 3.3% of the combined West (in this case the NATO sphere plus Japan and South Korea). Todd is amazed how these 3.3% capable of producing more weapons than the whole Western colossus not only are winning the war but reducing dominant notions of the “neoliberal political economy” (GDP rates) to shambles.
Little did Todd know, that West's economic statistics is fraud of which I wrote three books and continue to drive this point for many years--Russia is huge economically, especially where it matters the most--industries. But let's recall what Michael Hudson told about Western "economics" as taught in universities--it has no relation to reality. So, read Pepe's excellent review.

Very Good Summary.

Alexander uses a good term--liberating. Spot on.

This is exactly what Putin said today to the congress of young scientists.

Translation:  “Our so-called – at least that’s what we called them – partners thought that they had hooked us on such a technological needle and we would never get off it. And thanks to the efforts of people like you, your colleagues, it turned out that this is possible. And not only is it possible, but it happens quite quickly.”

Difficult to add anything to it.

Larry Reacted.

To Robert English piece which I touched upon in my post yesterday. Here is what Larry especially focuses on:

The unanswered question implicit in English’s observations about Russia outproducing, not just the United States, but NATO as a whole is this — why are Western intelligence analysts so ignorant of Russia’s industrial capability? Early on in the Special Military Operation I was writing pieces about Russia’s rich supply of natural resources and minerals essential for producing bombs, drones, tanks, artillery and missiles. Russia, unlike the United States and Europe, was not dependent on imports to sustain its military industrial capability. It is self-sufficient and has trained workers who can do the job required to manufacture such items. Robert English fails to pinpoint the real weakness of the West — it has stripped itself of steel and manufacturing plants and shipped those overseas. The United States and Europe do not have the ability, at least in the mid-term, to ramp up production and match the Russians shell-for-shell and tank-for-tank. The United States is like an aging boxer who decided to fight a rejuvenated contender in a 15 round Heavyweight match, but only trained to last two rounds. That is why Russia is battering the hell out of Ukraine and, by proxy, the United States.

Larry basically gives a rundown of a whole piece, unlike me who went ballistic with WW II statistics primarily.  Read it in full--it is excellent. The significance of all that is the fact that it is a pronounced trend right now with more and more people turning to alternative media and Quincy Institute, naturally, tries to occupy such a niche with, often, same ol' exceptionalist corporate media and "history" crap from which people try to escape.

Per Ireland--if you think that riots in Ireland are some kind of an exception, they, actually, are not. Right now, as I type this, you should see a dramatic tightening of the screws in Russia on labor migrants and I mean dramatic, it is also being made public. And even the success of Geert Wilders in Holland shouldn't be dismissed as just another European Zionist getting to power. This is THE issue--many people still cannot grasp, the issue I commented upon very often: Israeli lobby in Europe and especially in the US monopolized a legitimate serious issue of relations between West and Islam by inserting Israel into this problem as some kind West's "outpost" defending the West. Israel certainly does not do such a thing and uses this agenda to merely advance her interests.

Until the separation and disassociation between Israel and her Zionist agenda and the West (not to be mistaken for many Jewish communities many of who are not Zionists) happens, this will continue to exist jointly in the West, unlike it is the case, as an example, in Russia. Law is the law, Moscow's Mufti may express concern about Russia deporting masses of Middle Asian migrants who commit crimes, but here is what Russian Patriarch tells him a month ago:

Translation: Moscow. the 25th of October. INTERFAX.RU - Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' expressed concern about the long-term consequences of attracting cheap labor to Russia from abroad. “This kind of people do not become close to us either in faith or in culture. They have their own faith and their own culture. An educated, intelligent Russian person must respect both the faith and the culture of other people, but if the faith is different, the culture is different will spread so much that at some point they become equal or, God forbid, begin to dominate, then we will lose the country, we will lose our identity,” the patriarch said at a meeting with MSGU students. Without going into the intricacies of migration policy, he emphasized that “the desire to get cheap labor in the city of Moscow should not attract a huge number of people belonging to a different culture, to a different faith, who often do not know the Russian language and who do not have, excuse me, respect for Russia and to her people."

The reaction from all kinds of lobbyists and migrant labor migrants was hysterical and boorish, but here is the issue--Russian Muslims DO differ dramatically from the stream of Middle Asia guest laborers and number of steps of dealing with this issue are already being undertaken. In the end, Patriarch is hugely important and powerful figure in Russia. When he speaks, people listen and we all know that Vladimir Putin, Medvedev, Mishustin, Patrushev and others are keenly aware of the problem and it is being solved. You come to Russia--you live by Russia's laws, period. If not--bye, bye, often through prison terms before final goodbye.

Two Points...

First, thank you, Thermobaric, for linking this. Here is an American officer and patriot explaining to some psycho-bitch that she, as are 99% of American political and "intellectual" elite, have no fucking business in commenting on anything warfare related. Some American generals better stay away from this too.

Secondly, Alastair Crooke delivers probably his best SitRep and confirms what Larry Johnson warned about--West's (especially US) Suez Moment.
Now, Larch sent me some link to French TV and how they are lamenting France becoming irrelevant and facing a civil war--a natural outcome for cowards who get elected in France. A bunch of the pompous imbeciles from French media and government, including loser Hollande trying to figure out what happened to France. Hey, morons--you killed it. Let them eat cake. I, personally, have no sympathy for them at all. Let them get ready for this:

They fully deserved it. Vote Macron... But then again, France gave us an incredible amount of pedophile and cuck filth in the XX century packaged into the Christian Dior wrapper and smelling like Chanel №5. They call it a "style".

Why Germans Do This...

... Germans are buying real estate in Kaliningrad and NOT because it is merely a former Konigsberg. No, they buy it because they move back to Russia where, as I write about it for years, they will be met with open arms as natives.

Translation: TATYANA TARANTSOVA, VICE PRESIDENT OF THE GUILD OF REALTORS OF KALININGRAD: — The flow of clients comes from Germany. They come here, buy apartments in Kaliningrad, resort real estate. A lot of people have relatives in Russia, they simply apply for citizens of the Russian Federation. Many say that many want to move and live here. They are going to open farms, apiaries, to conduct agriculture.

Funny how history works. Generally, any normal Christian root person, even the "atheist" (yes, you can be one) is welcome.

Here are Germans going back, because they are normal people (sadly, in Russian only). OK, here is Lora from California who dominates Krasnodar blocks, LOL))

Granted, Krasnodar Krai IS California. And here is the issue--I do not advocate for anything. Each morning I get up and look at my mountains and Pacific Northwest and I reflect on a beauty of a nature and people who USED to live here. Today it is different, but I always say, we still live by what surrounds us. It is also a difference in human experiences--I, as well as my family, we are entranced by Montana or Wyoming, not least because after a few hours of drive you face mighty Pacific. Krasnoyarsk Ergaki or Altai are as beautiful, but no ocean anywhere near. It is complicated. I always need a big water.

But here we are:

Or Sabrina finally getting her citizenship:

Life is complex, yet, it is very simple beyond the realm of ignorant masters of discourse and it is about what once was written based on a fundamental civilization law--life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. How strange that it doesn't apply to a country which gave it to the world. But then again, for years I stated--Russia is an Arc.

OK, I Don't Know If It's A Joke...

... or a result of continuous abuse of all kinds of substances in Holland, but I think Russians should apologize to Estonians for making jokes about Estonians being the slowest people on Earth. Now we know who are the slowest in the head, and they are Dutch (LOL) allegedly intelligence services. 9 years after the removal of the legitimate government in Kiev sponsored by the West, and months after the start of SMO, Dutch intel people finally noticed, LOL)))

The Ukraine conflict is really about a greater confrontation between the West and Russia, while China challenges the world order based on Western values, according to the 2022 annual report by the General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD) of the Netherlands. Published this week, the report claims that Russia sees itself “not only at war with Ukraine, but also at war with the West,” while the West considers the conflict to be “also about our norms, values, freedom and prosperity.” According to the AIVD, while Ukraine is the military battleground, to Moscow the broader conflict is “about geopolitical relations in the world.” Russia believes it to be an existential conflict and is trying to “undermine Western democracies,” the Dutch spies have claimed. More than just a military conflict between two countries, the fighting in Ukraine “suddenly accelerated developments that have been going on in the world for a long time, changed the relationships between groups of countries, and can influence how countries interact with each other for a long time to come. In short, it turned out to be a geopolitical system shock,” the AIVD said.

Then RT concludes:

AIVD accused China of wanting to replace the “international order based on Western values,” with a world order in which Beijing would be on top. The AIVD findings come as the government of Prime Minister Mark Rutte announced plans to restrict exports of semiconductor-producing equipment to China. The US has been pressuring the Netherlands to do so for months.

Per this chip issue. For China the horizon of closing most of its needs in chip manufacturing is year-two maximum, Russia also is investing heavily both in chip production and development of lithography. For Russia this horizon is around 2026-27. This is what I learned just recently from not just professional Sinologist but a person directly involved with microelectronics and who permanently resides in China for many years. As any "sanctions" activity by the West this too will end up in a complete failure due to the fact that those people are not very good in strategic planning and assessment of resources.

But the question stands--where were those Dutch spies, under what stone were they sleeping to not know that Russians have been stating openly about the conflict with the West for years, including from Putin himself, be that... drum roll... in his 2007 Munich speech to Russia's December 2021 Ultimatum. So, I guess we now know who runs Dutch national security circuit and the only thing we can say is that they are dutch (look up the street meaning of this term;)) Or as Russian anecdote about imprisoned Indians goes: and only three years after imprisonment did the Sharp Eye notice that their cell was missing the outside wall.

View From India.

By Dr. Bhadrakumar in a piece with symptomatic title: ‘Russia alone can already confront the entire West…

What emerges, therefore, is that Putin’s strategic calculus in Ukraine will be shaped much more heavily by events on the battlefield than on any  Chinese input. Russia’s reaction to the Chinese “peace plan” regarding Ukraine testifies to that reality. ... He (Putin) repeated that the West’s arms shipments to Ukraine are of concern to Russia only because they constitute “an attempt to prolong the conflict” and will “only lead to a bigger tragedy and nothing more.”  However, this is not to belittle the great significance of the partnership for both countries in the political, diplomatic and economic spheres. The salience lies in the two countries’ growing interdependency in multiple directions that cannot be quantified yet and keeps “evolving” (Xi) and appears seamless. The Ukraine war, paradoxically, is turning out to be a wake-up call — a war that can prevent another world war rather than engender one. China understands that Russia has single-handedly taken on the “collective West” and shown it is more than a match. This assessment in Beijing cannot escape the West’s attention and will impact the western thinking too for the medium and long term — not only for Eurasia but also the Asia-Pacific.

This is the point I am trying to make for years now. Moreover, Russia's strategy incorporated from the get go a very serious economic aspect which combined West due to ignorance and incompetence couldn't grasp. As Michael Hudson noted recently--why the 75-80% of the world needs West, which is 15-20% economically, when the rest of the world not only produces everything it needs but can issue a credit. Just to illustrate one of many trends:

Today, Khabarovsk TV (Rossiya 1 Network) showed one of the assembly lines at Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant. On the photo are three brand new SSJ-New aircraft--fully Russified from PD-8 engines, to avionics by KRET, to other systems. First one is already "under electric power" and its first flight is expected (per Sdelano U Nas) shortly. Per military protection of the new colossal Eurasian realm I wrote many times--Russia has all means to do so. We will need to wait for propagation of some of hypersonic technologies, systems like S-500 and advanced combat aircraft among many other things.

On The Issue Of The Linear Targets.

A classic diversionary (sabotage) act against linear target is blowing up the rail. Immediately note to yourself--rails are blown not for the sake of demolishing the railway, but for the sake of derailing passing train. Derailing the train is the end with railway damage being merely means. For a simple reason--you can repair railway relatively fast, sometimes within a few days, if not hours. The same applies to the bridges such as Crimean Bridge. One can take out one or two spans but one cannot blow up all 19 kilometers (12 miles) of this bridge. And that means that being linear is your greatest advantage. You can blow up 100 meters of a railway, but you cannot blow up 7,000 kilometers of TranSib.

Sabotage at the Crimean Bridge is a classic example of a difficulty the terrorist-sabotage groups face when trying to disable a linear target. As you all know, the traffic over the bridge is already largely restored, including car traffic using remaining lanes, while railroad is fine and continues to operate, which is important for accumulation of the forces in Crimea, including for future operations with the re-deployment through Kherson region. Even for the PR reasons, Kiev, as always, didn't achieve anything of substance. The fact that WaPo--this warmongering lying sack of shit pretending to be a legitimate media--printed "opinion" of some, obviously anonymous, official that it was an SBU "operation" tells one something. Washington directly points out to Kiev as a culprit, despite Kiev not officially admitting it.

Well, here is Zakharova today:

Translation:

Q: Ameican foreign policy department recently publicly indicated the readiness of the United States for "diplomacy with Russia on Ukraine." How could you comment on this signal?

A: The public signals coming from the US Administration in recent days in the context of what is happening in Ukraine combine provocative militancy and chaotic allusions to the possibility of an appropriate Russian-American dialogue. Secretary of State E. Blinken was vague on this score. He said the US would be ready to respond if Moscow showed "any serious intentions." Meanwhile, a couple of weeks ago, he flatly denied the very possibility of seeking a diplomatic solution. However, the main thing is the real steps taken by the Americans and their satellites. And they radically contradict the ostentatious rhetoric that claims to be peaceful. The supply of arms to the regime of V. Zelensky is increasing, the number of Western mercenaries and instructors is growing directly “on the ground”, the United States is getting deeper and deeper into the multifaceted support of its clients in Kyiv. And this is against the backdrop of V. Zelensky's insane calls to his masters to launch a preventive nuclear strike on Russia. Such irresponsible demagoguery, apparently, is beginning to frighten even those who demand to "defeat the Russians on the battlefield." From here, apparently, the flouncing about of the J. Biden team stems, which itself has nurtured evil, it seems, without even thinking about the catastrophic consequences for the world, and most importantly for itself.

As if to confirm what I spoke about yesterday about this fluffy BS about nuclear war emanating from the White House, Pentagon today finally put its foot down:

The US Defense Department does not believe that a Russian nuclear strike is imminent, several Pentagon officials told journalists this week. Washington still treats Moscow’s supposed threats “very seriously,” they added. “We don’t assess that President Putin has made a decision to use nuclear weapons at this time,” the Pentagon’s press secretary, Brigadier General Patrick Ryder, told journalists at a briefing on Thursday. He spoke after US President Joe Biden warned that the risk of a nuclear conflict is at the highest level since the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962. For now, the US does not possess any information that would warrant a change in its “strategic deterrence posture,” Ryder said, adding that Washington will continue to closely monitor the situation, as it takes Russia’s threats “very seriously.” On Friday, another Pentagon spokesman, J. Todd Breasseale, told Politico that the US still does not see any indication that Russia is preparing for a nuclear strike. “To be clear: we have not seen any reason to adjust our own strategic nuclear posture nor do we have indications that Russia is preparing to imminently use nuclear weapons,” he said.

As I am on record ad nauseam--for the the West SMO is mostly about PR, because combined West and its "leader" have no resources to fight a real conventional war with Russia. Hence, as Zakharova stated, the flouncing about, as if being in a feverish delirium. The US need a deal with Russia, but Medvedev was quite explicit about it--the deal will be primarily about unconditional surrender in economic war. As per SMO, as was expected--the "front" was stabilized and VSU are throwing last reserves at Russia and everyone who has the IQ above room temperature knows now what is coming. The only thing Kiev has left at its disposal are PR acts like sabotage of the Bridge or, which is fully expected, terrorist acts against civilians deep into Russia proper and infrastructure objects, such as metro, public transport, energy control centers among many other, are the targets for Washington and London who use their Kiev stooges to provide for plausible deniability. But, as it is a strategic truism--terrorism is the weapon of the weak. When considering psychopaths running modern West this is what you would expect. After all, the only thing Western militaries excelled in the last 30 years is to kill civilians and blow civilian infrastructure, and the pattern is recognizable immediately.

Some Business To Be Addressed...

1. I'll start with that and will only stress that these are horrifying warriors because their motivation is higher than that of berserkers. Judge for yourself:

You don't want to meet those people on the battlefield because they are afraid of nothing, including death. I assume Russia assembles and trains those men into special crack formations which will deal with the remnants of VSU come the end of the year. Beware! LOL.

Now to a more serious matter:

2. Somebody posted here the link to Alexander Rogers' superbly acerbic piece on this Liman affair. Here is the link, sadly Google Translate will not completely convey Roger's traditional sarcastic tone but still--worth reading.

     Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimaaaaaaaan (in Russian)
Try to run it through translator. All Rogers' points are valid.

3. Where would we have been without the military "expertise" of The National Interest. I am being sarcastic, of course. But this one is worth paying attention to because it may, in the end, reflect both desperation and delusions on part of America's military class. In the piece titled A Ceasefire Can Ensure Ukrainian Independence, David Pyne concludes:

After the rigged referendums conducted by Kremlin-appointed leaders this week indicated that an overwhelming majority supported unification with Russia, Putin hosted a ceremony at the Kremlin this morning declaring all four Ukrainian oblasts a part of Russia. Annexing these territories will increase Russia’s population by approximately 6 million people and effectively mark the end of Russia’s so-called “special military operation,” which has been a war fought for limited objectives and with a fraction of its armed forces. But the start of a full-scale war against Ukraine after mobilization is likely to be even more destructive and could potentially include some of Russia’s powerful but not yet utilized unconventional weapons, with the objective being the total capitulation of Ukraine.

Ah, yes, of course referenda were "rigged"--by VSU indiscriminate shelling of civilians, atrocities committed by Ukie Nazis and their NATO "instructors" against women, children, old people. Right, it was "rigged" from the git go by effectively committing crimes against humanity against Russophone population in Ukraine but, due to Payne's having M.S in "national security studies" and being a former H.Q. staff officer, he doesn't bother himself with facts and consequences. Moreover, he comes up with this wowser:

Reports indicate that Putin’s partial mobilization will not be limited to 300,000 troops, as the Russian government has misleadingly claimed, but rather 1.2 million military reservists that will be used to overrun Ukraine in a planned winter offensive that could bring an end to the country’s independence by early next year.

Of course, he merely gives the link, without elaboration on what those "reports" are, because they are directly from... Ukrainskaya Pravda, a tabloid propaganda rag of Kiev Regime, but Payne, following his "education" from the military system which loses all its wars, doesn't mind spreading obvious propaganda BS without even bothering himself with checking the reality, forget about getting acquainted with those mobilization plans of Russia which are openly available (much of them are, of course, classified) to conclude that "1.2 million" IS NOT a partial mobilization. In fact, if Payne has his "degree" in whatever security "studies" he could have, at least, educated himself with basic mobilization documents of Russian Federation such as:

Translation:  Federal Law No. 31-FZ of February 26, 1997 (as amended on July 14, 2022) "On mobilization training and mobilization in the Russian Federation".

And mind you, I am not even talking about simple mathematical fact that mobilization of 1.2 million people in Russia would have manifested itself on a scale much much larger (no, not 1.2 mil. divided by 300 thousand= 4 times, no) than what is happening right now, because mobilizing 1.2 million soldiers as opposed to 300,000 IS NOT 4 times larger, it is a different type and scale of mobilization, including what amounts to enlisted personnel in existing Armed Forces. But Payne, obviously, never studied those things for his degree and while serving in whatever the H.Q. he served in.

After that, he describes "conditions" which may "preserve" 404 not understanding that we all long ago left the world of wishful thinking and PR and are into serious business of dismantling Pax America in which Ukraine is but one of the fronts of this titanic struggle and it is all about demolishing existing combined West whose elites, quoting Vladimir Putin, are satanic. Kiev regime is a homicidal Nazi org, supported by the US and US military, and now the US will have the stamp of enablers of Neo-Nazism and let it live with it. After all, main US Army "hero" and allegedly "tank genius" General Patton considered Russians to be subhumans and, I think, this tradition is being preserved. Frankly, I don't know why this rag by Dmitri Simes even exists--it is an Exhibit A of a complete intellectual collapse of whatever passes in the US for geopolitical views and it is a sorry spectacle.

But I wanted to make you aware of that, and, judging by the other wave of Ukie bots spreading fake news and exhibiting their ever increasing butt-hurt, they should. Because today Constitutional Court of Russia approved signed documents on four obalsts joining Russia and in this teeny-weeny piece of news that all four oblasts will join Russia within administrative borders which existed since the moment of their creation--you know, in USSR (in Russian). But that is just legalistic mambo-jumbo. Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimaaaaaaan.
