Not For The Faint of Heart.

That's how VSU deal with their 300s (wounded) in order to not carry them.

Russian recon drone documented it. This is NOT one off--it is VSU tradition to do so and they have been doing this for as long as SMO lasts. Speaking of which--the US slowly disengaging from NATO command structures appointing to a number of posts ... British guys, LOL))

But here is interesting thing of which I write non-stop.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. Navy’s top uniformed officer wants to convince commanders to use smaller, newer ships and other assets for missions instead of consistently turning to huge aircraft carriers — as seen now in the American military buildups off Venezuela and IranAdm. Daryl Caudle's vision — what he calls his “Fighting Instructions” — calls for the Navy to deploy more tailored groups of ships and equipment that would offer the sea service more flexibility to respond to crises as they develop.

Admiral Caudle has some good ideas (or desires, if one wishes) but when he asks the question what modern US Navy "delivers" he omits, albeit implies, that modern US carrier-centric Navy delivers a lot of fat prestigious targets which are indefensible in REAL threat environment. What REAL stands for is the new (and even older) generation of anti-shipping missiles which are either supersonic or hypersonic and are matched by recon complex such as Liana and this types of weapons (with the exception of hypersonic ones) continue to propagate.

In conclusion:

In early February of this year, it was 81 years since the uprising of Soviet prisoners of war in the Austrian Nazi camp "Mauthausen". In an interview with RIA Novosti, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova spoke about how Moscow is fighting attempts to falsify and distort the truth about World War II, why EU countries do not support Russia's resolution against the glorification of Nazism in the UN, and how Vienna preserves the memory of the dead prisoners of war.

EU countries ARE supporters of Nazism, just in a slightly different form. Albeit they still found some humanity in them in condemning Israel's genocide of Palestinians, but when it comes to Russians--most of Europe wouldn't mind concentration camps for them. Here is example--Estonian designer with her latest products.

I am sure it will be a popular product not just in Estonia.

I Love Where Joseph ...

... goes with this, but as I stated many times before--Colonel Douglas Macgregor should go to Podolsk to see the real archives on WW II and not propaganda he was fed by his Bundeswehr curators who committed unspeakable crimes and then hid them behind propaganda. If his son, to his greatest credit, can grasp it--good.

But reality of SMO has its roots in WW II and there is NO such thing as "from their point of view". It is either understood or ... the crime against humanity. Easily conveyed to Manichean so called "Christians" who live in the black-and-white world. Difficult to explain to people who never read Tolstoy, Dostoevsky or watched Come and See, and who cannot accept the fact the Solzhenitsyn was a CIA operation of influence.

Yes, Chocking ...

... breaking SLOC (Shipping Lanes Of Communications) IS the capability (still) of the US Navy. It is still the largest Navy in the world and its submarine force is world-class. PLAN's sub force is not in the same league.

US still can achieve strategic surprise and damage some of China's coastal facilities and sink a number of ships, but it is not going to win the war, if to imagine this Taiwan scenario, which many neocons masturbate to due to own military illiteracy. And we have to keep in mind--modern bomber or fighter plane are several orders of magnitude more complex technologically and production-wise than any WW II most sophisticated and complex weapons system or platform. Ground operations near or in mainland China--a phantasy, China's immediate reserve is around 20 million soldiers. And yes, the degree of Russia's involvement remains a matter of speculation, but there WILL be Russia's involvement on China's side.

A "Suffering" Card.

This is the issue which many in the West don't get. Holocaust industry can shut down ANY UK or US interlocutor with the Holocaust and "suffering" argument.

They cannot do that to Russians, Soviets in general--Belarus alone lost almost a quarter of her population. Those 27 million, most of them civilians, and in the end the same Red Army which liberated Auschwitz among many other death camps which also saw millions of the Soviet POWs starved to death or simply killed. Holocaust industry in the US, from Hollywood to media, was busy with obscuring the truth of the Eastern Front in order to single out Holocaust as THE ONLY human tragedy worthy of remembrance. They succeeded beyond wildest expectations.

However, in a magnificent movie about Holocaust with a stunning cast of late Robin Williams, Alan Arkin and others, the ending, despite putting Red Army armor force into T-72s, suddenly tells the truth about LIBERATION by the Red Army.

But then again, as we all know, Stalin was a bloody dictator and he wanted only the conquest--a BS which is believed easily in the US where WW II became a saving grace and pulled the country out of the swamp of economic decay precipitated by Great Depression of 1929-1933 and Great Recession of 1937-1938. WW II realities for the US remain unknown and will remain unknown, the role of the Soviet Union and the Red Army will continue to be increasingly diminished until the history of the WW II will be completely rewritten and the US Army would be portrayed as the only force which defeated Nazism. We are already there. This fact, however, is presented by me in order to point out ONE OF the main factors of US Zionists' hatred of Russia. Holocaust card simply doesn't work there.

When You Are An Idiot ...

... and a demagogue, who doesn't understand basic facts of WW II and why, for some reason, GB received THREE times more Lend-Lease than ... USSR.

He, of course, twists facts and numbers (US humanities graduates are not good at arithmetic, let alone attrition dynamics) and, of course, even biased and largely inaccurate (lowering them) in terms of Soviet production numbers Statista disagrees with him.

But then again, what did Barnett know about his own country? Right?

He is the kind of guy who has zero understanding of the warfare of WW II and on, but because he has "degree" in classicism considers himself a military "historian". Mind you, this is in no way to denigrate heroism of British people and their forces who fought bravely, but Hanson better also acquaint himself with the realities of WW II and its REAL history.

Oh, Absolutely!

In fact, if not for all those "losers" like Ike, Patton would have been in Moscow in 1945. We know that. In fact, Russia lost not just 51 million, NO! USSR lost 1.5 billion while managing to rape 0.8 billion German women while executing 25.7 million Read Army soldiers in the rear while simultaneously forcing them to rape whatever US "strategists" like Macgregor learned about in their military vocational school at the West Point.

Yes, And?

Germany is accelerating towards the future envisioned in 1945 by Morgenthau Plan. Building heavily export-oriented economy while having no resources of her own and breaking off relations with Russia--what did you expect was going to happen?

The industrial group Thyssenkrupp is facing a drastic restructuring. The Executive Board around CEO Miguel Lopez (60) wants to convert the company into a holding company and thus create the basis to sell more parts, as BILD has learned from company circles. The headquarters is to be reduced from the current 500 to 100 employees, and further cuts are planned in the administration with around 1000 employees. "All that remains is an umbrella company without content," says a person familiar with the processes. With this, Lopez heralds the end for a company that is linked to German history like no other. In the blast furnaces of Krupp (founded in 1811) and Thyssen (1891), the iron was melted that made the country's rise to industrial status in the 19th century possible. But they also forged the weapons for the First World War and later for the Nazis.

Russians made a huge mistake by believing Germany. Not anymore. Russia, as was always the case, opens her doors to Germans who see their future as Germans but in Russia, the rest of Germany will eventually transform itself into the version of Bob Fosse's Cabaret (a euphemism for the debauchery of Weimar) and into a collective Julian Roepke. That will conclude the WW II. The rest will be for Oreshnik, RS-28 Sarmat and Kalibrs to keep that territory in check. Just in case.

Why Russians Call Ukrops ...

... pigs. Even in the face of their dead cannon fodder they cannot stop being ... pigs. The nation is in a complete psychosis and mental breakdown. Albeit combined West is not far behind.

Meanwhile, lovely Gabrielle Duvoisin (she is French but is Russian now) explains in Russian how she was taught in France about WW II. Yes, you guessed it--it was about how the US defeated Hitler and liberated Europe.

Well, Gabrielle is now the part of Russian history and she can be proud. These are Europeans (French, German, Italian et al) Russians embrace and want them in Russia.

Some Visuals ...

 ... from SMO.

Meanwhile RT delivers a proper headline: Western Memory of WWII is basically fan fiction. Well, it is. No matter my professional respect for Colonel Macgregor, but he is an Exhibit A of having very little understanding of Eastern Front and the Soviet Union. In fact, he continues to deliver a primitive "anti-Soviet" propaganda, much of which is nothing but utter BS which is completely detached from the realities of the Red Army's and USSR's war and much of which is rooted (literally) in Goebbelsonean propaganda found in copious amounts in Solzhenitsyn and neocon writings.

The 80th Is Coming.

And the amount of excrement around it will only grow in the West. But here comes the Hollywood "History" (a euphemism for BS). This is from famous Patton movie and a completely made-up shit. However, one thing should be explained to many people who still cannot grasp realities of the Eastern Front.

We can start, of course with the fact that Patton had a very high-pitched voice. But let's take a look at Mikhail Efimovich Katukov's track record, even from WiKi--the guy fought (successfully) at Moscow in 1941 checking Guderian's advance, Rzhev, Stalingrad, Kursk against Mainstein, Operation Bagration, Berlin Operation. I guess, many who watched this Hollywood fantasy didn't know who Katukov was. Yep, the guy played a key role in sacking of Guderian by Hitler. But who cares, right?

Larry Posted an Excellent ...

... long read by Peter Henseler. I strongly recommend reading it.

Trump’s desire to reach an agreement with Putin is palpable. He has many irons in the fire – too many? Witkoff is not sure of the facts, and a lack of historical awareness could become a stumbling block. Putin is waiting – because he can.

It is a good overview of the balance of REAL power today and also about a thing which I speak and write about ad nauseam--history. Especially nowadays, with 80th anniversary of defeat of Nazi Europe (yes, Europe) in WW II. Henseler gives a much-needed reminder of why Russians have issues with Hollywood and military history curriculum in the US military academies and war colleges. I surely do have.

Technically He Is Not Wrong ...

... once you apply the main Western court historians' tool--a complete removal of context--to his conclusion, he is not incorrect.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has called US billionaire's Elon Musk backing of a rival party in the country’s upcoming election “disgusting.” ... “We are very happy that the United States liberated our country and helped us to become a democracy again,” he added. “And this is why I am so angry about Elon Musk intervening for the far right and Elon Musk also not acting adequately to this killing of so many Jews and other people in Europe done by Germans in the past. This is the historic responsibility we will continue to take in the future as well.” “And this is really disgusting, and it is not good for the democratic development in the European Union,” the head of the Social Democrats concluded.

Technically, Allies liberated more territory of Germany than did the Red Army. Of course, explaining to followers of Patton's "view" on combined arms that geographical metrics, such as captured territory or distance covered per day, while important are secondary to main objective of the war of a complete physical annihilation of the enemy forces, will be exercise in futility, one should still keep in mind that there are still very many fantasists in NATO military top brass, who couldn't recognize what they were looking at when, say, Russian Army was setting into a strategic defense in the end of 2022 and completely bought own (illiterate, I may add) BS of successes of VSU, based solely on Russians seeing no strategic-operational sense of killing own people in empty fields.

Rewind back to 1945. Two weeklong Battle of Berlin alone--look up the butcher's bill--makes pretty much most of the proceedings on the Western Front look rather timid.

But, of course, Germans learned absolutely nothing, and it was expected from the nation who saw its own catastrophic defeat by Soviet Union as a ... correct--catastrophe, with or without ample historical justifications for full annihilation of the Third Reich, Nazi Germany that is--catastrophic defeat is catastrophic defeat after all; trauma stays no matter what. Americans liberated Germany; Russians "destroyed" it--that's the ideological setup for the so-called German "democracy". Here are "lessons" for modern Germany:

And nothing could be done about it. Certainly not "liberation". In related news--it is always the same:

The vast majority of Ukrainian media have been kept in business in recent years only thanks to foreign grants, with most of the funding coming from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), according to Oksana Romanyuk, the head of the Institute of Mass Information NGO. Last week, US President Donald Trump issued an executive order initiating a 90-day suspension of nearly all US foreign aid programs. Described as a front for US regime-change efforts, USAID boasted a budget of over $60 billion in 2023 and has funneled huge sums into Ukraine and other nations under the premise of humanitarian development. “Almost 90% of Ukrainian media survived on grants,” Romanyuk said, adding that at least 80% of outlets in the country had received funds from USAID programs.

Same goes for most "historians" in the West, it is all about who and how much pays you. If it plays into your own hatreds and biases--even better.

People Ask Me...

... why I insist that the SMO is effectively a closing salvo of WW II. My first book is largely about it without stating it like this. But with Kazan BRICS summit coming and new reports pouring in about atrocities committed by "mercenaries" from the West and about their (very low) combat qualities, one begins to understand why they hate Russia. This also explains why they cannot lose as in maintaining a degree of decency and honor when defeated. And they have been defeated. Now comes this sensitive issue of how much, in the end, Nazis influenced the US--a lot, but we knew that. The issue, however, is larger, it is metaphysical. The moment the West is defeated and enters "arrangement" phase...

Translate: VATICAN CITY, October 14 – RIA Novosti. Pope Francis’ envoy for a settlement in Ukraine, Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, arrived in Russia on Monday to assess efforts to facilitate family reunification and prisoner exchanges, the Holy See press service told RIA Novosti. “I confirm that Cardinal Matteo Zuppi began a new visit to Moscow today as part of the mission entrusted to him by Pope Francis last year to meet with the authorities and assess further efforts to facilitate the reunification of Ukrainian children with their families and the exchange of prisoners,” a Vatican press service spokesman said. Earlier, a RIA Novosti source reported that Zuppi had met with Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov; this information was confirmed by the Russian Foreign Ministry. Another source did not rule out a meeting between the cardinal and Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.
I don't doubt for a second that Vatican and its envoy have humanitarian aspirations and are genuine in that. But Pope's envoy is in Moscow not for that as a main item of discussion. They are not idiots in Vatican, they have been doing this for centuries, including assisting in saving remnants of Nazi big honchos in 1945. But this time Vatican knows that Russia has all economic, military, diplomatic, political and intellectual resources to finish the combined West off as a threat. The Western Europe in 1944 was "saved" from the Red Army marching in 1946 to France, thus obtaining a full control of Europe, not least through massive political power on the Communist and real left-wing parties in Italy, Greece, France etc. It was "saved" by Anglo-American Allies. But then, the USSR lay in ruins, courtesy of the unified European Nazi forces, today the picture is radically different--it is the combined West which is hollowed out economically, militarily and spiritually. So, Vatican needs to know what's next. They worry... and rightly so.

Next is the dismantling of the Western institutions which allowed morally bankrupt Western Europe, as an active enabler of Nazism economically and militarily, and as a tacit supporter of the Nazi vision in the East, to continue after the WW II and even prosper. This time is over--it is the combined West which must be denazified. I talk about it in my today's video and Kazan-2024. And Vatican knows that once Russia withdraws from European geopolitical project of the last 1,000 years, Europe and the West are over. Russia is the only country in the world which can obliterate the West physically, economically and morally and Russians, it seems, finally made up their mind. Stalin was explicit on May 9, 1945.

The great sacrifices we made in the name of the freedom and independence of our Motherland, the incalculable privations and sufferings experienced by our people in the course of the war, the intense work in the rear and at the front, placed on the altar of the Motherland, have not been in vain, and have been crowned by complete victory over the enemy. The age-long struggle of the Slav peoples for their existence and their independence has ended in victory over the German invaders and German tyranny. Henceforth the great banner of the freedom of the peoples and peace among peoples will fly over Europe.

Europe doesn't deserve freedom and it is time to finish the job.

It Is Becoming...

... nauseating. It is behind the paywall but what is available speaks volumes.

On a recent trip to Ukraine, we walked through the rubble of a children’s hospital in Kyiv targeted by the Russians, toured an apartment building in Kharkiv where floor after floor had been destroyed by Russian missiles, and visited the front lines to meet with soldiers who spoke of the brutality of Russian human-wave tactics. But the most unsettling thing we saw was the American strategy in Ukraine, one that gives the Ukrainian people just enough military aid not to lose their war but not enough to win it. This strategy is slowly bleeding Ukraine, and its people, to death. Our visit was facilitated by With Honor, a bipartisan political-action committee that supports veterans in Congress, and we toured Ukraine alongside Republican and Democratic lawmakers. We are both Marine Corps veterans. We have a combined 60-year breadth of combat experience between us, including Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. The horrors of war are not unfamiliar to us. Yet both of us felt deeply disturbed as we finished our trip.

And here, apart from these former marines parroting all types of 404 propaganda, which tells you immediately who they are as military professionals, some things need to be addressed. I'll start with the most abused term in the US--"strategy". These two do not know what strategy is, because what passes in the US for "strategy" is nothing more than knee jerking based on utter geopolitical and military incompetence based on confabulated military history and arrogance which manifested itself through dismal (and humiliating) American military record and military R&D and procurement policies which have nothing to do with real war. Albeit, at least in 1970s and 80s NATO was admitting its conventional weakness in Europe.

But here comes this nauseating part, and you may have guessed it already, these two need to read this--their "combat" experiences are I-R-R-E-L-E-V-A-N-T for modern warfare. NO US military person ever fought against equal or better enemy than the US force, period. NO American serviceman knows, or, as on many occasions "maneuvers" of the US "volunteers" in 404 demonstrated when running away from serious contacts, can understand operational (emphasis on OPERATIONAL) realities and know how to act--recognizing one or another local tactical-operational reality the Joint Force Operations does not make. US never had real Joint Force, nor has any experience in having the main organ of combat control of ALL armed forces and that means General Staff. Joint Chiefs is not General Staff and America's military culture was always imperial expeditionary one and will remain such no matter what Washington does. So, these two former marines have to resign themselves to a cruel cold hard fact--the only people they fought in their lives have been essentially defenseless against them. With the exception of Vietnam which did have a serious support from the USSR.

Thirdly, US military education is essentially a joke. Especially so in service academies whose serious modern warfare "studies" cannot even measure to what and how is taught in Russia. But here is something out of the left field for you. When even Masha Gessen (a fanatical Russophobe) speaking to another Russian deviant and foreign agent Dud' drops the truth bomb.

Even this vile creature responding to Dud's question of what Americans think about WW II states that they really think that they won it. She points out that all this is due to arrogance and chauvinism. And then tells story from one of her experience at the exclusive gathering of CIA and Pentagon veterans when she was told to her face by one former CIA big honcho that: "We won WW II for you..." And even she (he, it) has been taken aback. When even this human anomaly has such an opinion, what do you expect from people who saw way more than these two "combat veterans" who are lost completely in the operational and strategic realities of SMO. Trump is correct here:

And now you have many former and present US military people having a severe cognitive dissonance when they have been shown REAL war. But, of course, for them George Patton was and is great general. Hey, Hollywood says so. As per "human-wave" tactics, this is everything you need to know about these two marines--being militarily illiterate they would believe any "combat" BS, because nobody taught them real tactics and military history. Sore losers and amateurs...

Patrick Armstrong...

 ... reminds us all.

On this day, 18 June, in 1935, the Anglo-German Naval Agreement was signed. The two sides agreed that the German Navy’s total tonnage would be fixed at 35% of the Royal Navy’s tonnage. Not, when you think about it, a very intelligent agreement from London’s perspective. One of the causes of the First World War had been British concerns about the size of the German Navy and yet where did they think this one-third-as-big navy would be based? Obviously in the North Sea; the British, with their world-wide empire, would have most of their ships elsewhere, In short, London was agreeing that the Germans could have near-parity in the waters closest to it. But worse. The agreement was the first violation by a great power of the Versailles conditions and had been done without consultation with any of Britain’s allies. It was the first, and therefore legitimating, agreement made by a great power with Hitler’s Germany.

Read the whole thing--you will understand why they cry so loud about Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. You will also be "surprised" that the SS ass-hole who was met with standing ovation in Canadian Parliament--you know, Hunka guy--is accused of killing 500 people among them Russians, Poles and Jews (in Russian). I think the guy should get tenure in either West Point or Sandhurst, before he dies. He surely has skills in "war".

This And That...

As was expected, the Taliban will be recognized by Moscow as a legitimate government of Afghanistan and that makes it much easier to cooperate on the issue of ISIS (euphemism for the US and UK) threat (in Russian), plus continuing support in food, energy, materials et al for government in Kabul to remain stable. It always was the matter of not if but when. Now, from Washington:

Moscow will fight all attempts to distort history, the Russian ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov has declared, in response to a claim by US President Joe Biden that the US was responsible for winning the Second World War. Biden visited Arlington Cemetery in the capital to pay respects to fallen US troops on Memorial Day and to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The president told the gathering that the servicemen who are buried at the cemetery had fought in “every major conflict in history” and, among other things, managed to “defeat fascism.” On June 6, 1944, the US soldiers “took to the beaches of Normandy and liberated a continent and literally saved the world,” he claimed. The president’s remarks are part of a campaign by Washington, Ambassador Antonov wrote on Telegram on Monday, which is aimed at “cynical belittlement and even disavowal of the decisive role of the Soviet Union in crushing the fascists” during that conflict, which in Russia is called the Great Patriotic War (June 1941-May 1945).

I agree with Antonov--it is a deliberate campaign which is decades old and will only accelerate. Ironically, it is also the reason why the US cannot win a war since 1950 due to "lessons" learned from something which actually... didn't happen. If one wants to draw "lessons" from Patton's campaign in Lorraine against 10 operational Wehrmacht tanks and whole regiments composed of cooks, deaf Germans and soldiers with stomach ulcers--sure. But that is what Washington wants to continue to do and, eventually, it will "win" wars in Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan, Iraq, Somali et al. It is as simple as that. I am sure US Army annihilating three Axis army groups around Chicago in 1943 will be emblazoned in golden letters in the history of warfare. But, sarcasm aside, reducing oneself to a Stolen Valor MO (BTW, criminal offense) is yet another sign of disintegrating society. I also want to STRESS this point--this in no way belittles heroism and sacrifice of Western Allies' soldiers and sailors who did their duty with honor. But numbers also do not lie.

And here it comes:

Putin also publicly, in fact--brutally, rebuked Lukashenko after he started speculating about "negotiations". As per radar in Armavir--120 hours passed by, any new "photos", and I mean real ones, not photoshopped? I am still waiting. I am just saying (not one way or another)--it is so easy to make photo from within the flat circle with the radius of 20 kilometers: 3.14 x 20^2 = 3.14 x 400 = 1, 256 square kilometers.

Some Comments...

 ... from me with Nima.

Ryabkov defines US "elites" as:

My fourth book is precisely about it. On average US "elites" are highly uncultured and uneducated people whose foremost feature is creation of the alternative reality. This, most likely, is the result of US higher education, or rather its degeneracy across the board, because most of US "elites" are children of well to do class, who never experienced real life and serious difficulties and have no moral reference points in their lives. Hunter Biden comes to mind, as does Trump, or majority of US "academe" which has been utterly corrupted by sinecures and pandering to upper class' sensibilities, real scholarship be damned. Add here grotesque religious views and doctrines of a large portion of America's protestant sects and cults and voila'. As Ryabkov concludes:

”As a matter of fact, it is irrelevant for us who the next US president will be,” he explained. “No chance for the improvement of the situation can be seen, considering the fundamental anti-Russian consensus of the American elites.”

Lavrov echoes today:

Well, I would say that this is for more than "one generation", because the European politics is a dumpster on fire and until it burns completely out leaving only smoldering remnants, no any meaningful contacts are possible, but then the Europe as we knew it will be gone and I doubt there will be anybody to talk to still--I do not exaggerate when I say that the West (as in Europe) is over. We observe this process in progress as I type it. Which makes me really cringe when reading such news:

PARIS — France’s decision to invite Russia to attend the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings has stoked tensions with allied nations as leaders prepare to gather on the Normandy beaches on June 6. Last month, Paris caught Western countries off guard when D-Day organizers announced they were extending an invitation to Moscow even as Russia launches a fresh offensive on Ukraine. Officials from the United Kingdom, the United States and two other World War II allies expressed concerns over the move, raising questions ranging from the symbolic nature of the occasion, protocol issues and queries about diplomatic engagement with Russian representatives. The White House is not pleased about the invitation, two administration officials told POLITICO. “We would defer to the government of France, which organizes the commemoration at Normandy,” one of the officials said. “But perhaps this will remind the Russians that they actually fought real Nazis once, not imaginary ones in Ukraine.”

As was noted by a few REAL American WW II scholars, there would have been no Normandy Landing if not for the Soviet Union and Red Army. There was also a reason why in Tehran Stalin demanded American, not British, general to lead the landing. But since Anglo-American WW II history is primarily accurately constructed confabulation which for at least three generations "educated" American "elites" (UK is a terminal case, all their WW II "scholars" are primarily of the level of Anthony Beevor, that is the level of a sewer), you wouldn't expect anything from US diplomats and military but arrogance and ignorance. After all, we all know that Patton defeated Hitler and that his 3rd Army's battling 10 operational German tanks in Lorraine is a peak of the military art. Many still believe in those military fairy tales by Hollywood and as US (and British) strategic "planning" in 404 demonstrated--it was done by amateurs.

Obviously, such revelations from no less than Washington Post from 2015 will be increasingly erased in the West:

Don’t forget how the Soviet Union saved the world from Hitler

No worries here, they will forget. Already did. West has the whole industry set up by defeated Wehrmacht and SS which provided talking points for generations of what passes in the West for statesmen, military and government bureaucrats. It is not going to change until the very end, which is near. The US had about 80 years (an instance in historic terms) to get it right, it failed and learned absolutely nothing.

Yes, Absolutely!

And who would ever doubt it, that some shyster with no real education related to warfare and military balance would not write this excrement for CNN. Talk about coping gone completely off the scale.

CNN  — On Thursday Russia will celebrate Victory Day, its commemoration of the defeat of Nazi Germany in 1945. Domestically, this is nostalgia. In the 1970s, Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev created a cult of victory. Russia under Putin has continued the tradition. Abroad, this is intimidation. We are meant to think that Russia cannot lose. And far too many of us, during Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine, have believed that. In February 2022, when Russia undertook its full-scale invasion of its neighbor, the consensus was that Ukraine would fall within days. Even today, when Ukraine has held its own for more than two years, the prevailing view among Russia’s friends in Congress and in the Senate is that Russia must eventually win. Moscow’s success is not on the battlefield, but in our minds. Russia can lose. And it should lose, for the sake of the world — and for its own sake.

Right, right. Timothy Snyder's qualifications as any kind of military thinker are well explained in his C.V.

Editor’s Note: Timothy Snyder is the Richard C. Levin Professor of History and Global Affairs at Yale University and the author of “Bloodlands,” “Black Earth,” “On Tyranny” and the forthcoming “On Freedom.” The views expressed in this commentary are his own. Read more CNN Opinion.

One should keep in mind that what SMO did apart from tearing NATO a new one, it exposed US Ivy League humanities "education" as nothing more than degree mills on the level of University of Phoenix, whose graduates and "professors" are nothing more than brainwashed hacks and propagandists. It is also worth pointing that this is the present and the future of Western "academe", which is a steady slide towards Idiocracy, while there are virtually no normal people working for US legacy media--top-bottom. So, you can sense Snyder's desperation.

Now, since US Embassy in Russia paraded itself as ignorant hacks that they are (not-surprising looking at their "academic" backgrounds, with "professors" like Snyder...) and their Lend-Lease argument, here is my year old video on Lend-Lease.

It explains a lot in terms of this issue. But yesterday I erroneously posted "AI" generated meme on the White House press-secretary. I promptly removed it on the suggestion of our friends, but now, after Snyder's "piece", I think this meme is more than appropriate.

Keep in mind, this is a joke, but suddenly a very appropriate one. Truth is, this is how they teach history in Ivy League nowadays. In related news, if you listen to Russian experts, they will explain to you that it was actually Harvard which was leading a post WW II development of  Banderite ideology. Some record, eh?

Prague Celebrates...

... its liberation. Never mind that this was the Red Army which did so, but who cares, right? In the end, it was Patton who defeated Hitler. That is why Russia is wrapping her business with these people.
