... spot wishful thinking and coping from this:
WARSAW, Poland — Ukraine’s drone and missile maker Fire Point is developing an extended-range tactical ballistic missile after its FP-7 weapon was used in combat for the first time on Oct. 1, the company’s CEO Iryna Terekh said during this year’s Helsinki Security Forum. As European nations are bracing for intensified Russian hybrid attacks, defense companies are pitching products for different capability gaps, with European and American producers partnering rather than working in isolation, industry representatives said during the event over the weekend. ... “Yesterday we launched our ballistic missile onto Russian territory for the first time. It is a tactical ballistic missile for [a range of] 300 kilometers maximum. We are working on a longer [range] version that will also come this year,” Terekh said. “We were able to make this missile in two years as a private company.”
This report is from Poland by a Pole and is along the lines which became so familiar--spread 404 bullshit under the guise of serious military news. For those who are experiencing the onset of dementia I may remind them about this fanfare:
All the known facts point to so-called Flamingo being the already known FP-5 cruise missile from Milanion Group. In both range and warhead weight it's twice as powerful as Tomahawk but most importantly, it's optimized for mass production.
That was in 2025. Since then, this wunderwaffe had one or two hits on targets, the rest of this "mass produced" item ended like this.
Or like this:
While "mass-production" facilities for this Flamingo (Russians call it Hlamingo, Hlam in Russian means rubbish, trash) met its fate here:
Moreover, Pentagon and CIA, who live vicariously through 404 Nazis in their desire to kill Russkies and compensate for a string of military humiliations, continue providing targeting to VSU. Well, everybody has their own coping mechanisms, but it is especially difficult to explain to people who have no clue about real air defense that all Russian AD complexes, including even S1 Pantsir and Tor-M2, not to speak about anything starting from Buk-M2, for which any ballistic targets are standard targets, have shown outstanding interception rate against ballistic targets. But in the end, the fiery end for this production facility, if it ever materializes, is guaranteed.
