By Now I Am Not ...

... surprised that it came down to this:

The Pentagon has reportedly hired conservative military veterans with large social media followings to unspecified government positions. The Washington Post reported late Sunday that the Pentagon hired two conservative commentators—Rob Maness, a retired Air Force colonel with more than 135,000 X followers, and Kurt Schlichter, a retired Army colonel with 620,000 X followers—to work in Anthony Tata, the undersecretary of defense for personnel and readiness. The reports raise questions about transparency and Department of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's intentions in office. The former Fox News co-host has made efforts to influence the public's perception of the Pentagon, including hiring right-wing press corps to cover the government department while ostracizing other news outlets, leading to lawsuits.

As much as WaPo is a CIA dumpster, I can totally believe this--when one doesn't know how to fight a war (Pentagon doesn't) what's left is to BS people into believing that Hegseth is the second coming of Friedrich the Great. Or Zhukov. But he is not.

Meanwhile, Banderols are "having an impact" on Odessa, among many other cities in 404, right this moment.

The shelves of 404 grocery stores are getting emptied by panic rush  demand and catastrophic disruption of supply chains.

I want to stress again, what I said at Daniel Davis' show today--morons in D.C. as always didn't understand what kind of people they decided to fuck with. Unsurprising for a system which has no Russia's experts and is amateur in matters of war. Anglo-Saxon world was given a chance in WW II to survive and correct itself. It learned absolutely nothing. Not surprising.

Joe Kent Doesn't Understand ...

... the subject matter--expected from a guy whose "knowledge" of Russia is that of, indeed, warrant officer who never saw anything beyond counterinsurgency (yes, he tragically lost his wife to suicide bomber) and degree in "strategic studies and defense analysis" ONLINE from Norwich University, that is the degree mill for NCO level guys from special forces

The gap becomes immediately obvious. Same one-liners, same platitudes which distinguish US military-intel personnel whose ideas about war and warfare are that of the expeditionary force whose main task is regime change in third world shitholes. You cannot bridge this gap, especially when clueless Joe Kent speaks about "Putin".

They Cope Hard ...

... really hard. Morning headlines are filled with doom and gloom for Russia. Harry Kazianis, an infoshyster and a mediawhore, who collected around himself the crowd of the same incompetent BSers like he is, provides the tribune in his so called National Security Journal, where nobody has any real serious background in real security, to these "deep thinkers".

Russia lost more ground than it gained this spring for the first time in years, and a report says Putin plans a winter ‘hail Mary’

This drivel, including statements like these:

But now, Russia appears to have embraced another form of attack: Striking Ukrainian civilians as they fill up at gas stations.

Is written by an admirer of 404 Nazis and supporter of terrorism:

Stephen Silver is an award-winning journalist, essayist, and film critic, and contributor to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, Broad Street Review, and Splice Today. The co-founder of the Philadelphia Film Critics Circle, Stephen lives in suburban Philadelphia with his wife and two sons. For over a decade, Stephen has authored thousands of articles that focus on politics, national security, technology, and the economy.

Average US journo in legacy media is a war criminal and Silver is an exhibit A, not to mention the fact that he wouldn't know a first thing about warfare. But judging by his hysterical writing, he is upset and tries to cope, including by spewing BS about SMO, because the reality of 404 and NATO is grim. And, of course, there is losing of ground but not by Russia.

Just to demonstrate one of many details about SMO, today:

The Russian Aerospace Forces launched a pinpoint strike on the "underground city" in the village of Khoten, Sumy region. A carefully hidden facility of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which Western curators designed as an impregnable bastion, has turned into a mass grave.

One of the classic 404 strongpoints, or rather underground positions, constructed under the supervision by "experts" from UK, France and Germany. By different estimates--many hundreds of KIAs and many hundreds of wounded in this single strike. Elsewhere Russian Army continues to gain ground and liberate town after town (today it is Baksheevka) and the movement is relentless. So, they all try to cope by inventing something which doesn't exist in reality, they support any terrorist and Nazi from either 404 or their own countries, where war criminals occupy high political and military offices. They are the trash of history who are on the verge of being disposed into the dustbin of history. Let them suffer.

No, He Is No "Loyalist".

And he never was, the only loyalty this creep had was to his pocket and ego.

A former loyalist blogger turned fierce critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin has been detained and accused of spreading false information about the armed forces, state media reported Friday. The news came just as a court hearing was being held for another Kremlin critic and opposition politician, Boriz Nadezhdin, in a sign of an intensified crackdown as Putin faces mounting internal dissent over the war in Ukraine and its impact on Russian life. The blogger, Ilya Remeslo, stunned many in Russia when he published a scathing manifesto against the Russian leader that went viral in March.

Remeslo, apart from obvious host of mental issues was deep into business of voenwhores (aka military bloggers) and with his degree in law he provided an excellent channel for GUR/MI6/CIA fake information about SMO and finally the award found its "hero". Next in this position should be a shadow GUR asset and BSer Mr. Svinchuk, aka Rybar, who for years provided his "analysis" shaped by VSU propaganda. There are many of those people, especially from 404 who, having zero serious military expertise, continue to abuse informational sphere of Russia, while also collecting donations for Russian Armed Forces with questionable accounting.

Per Nadezhdin--a complete scumbag, with ties to unsavory people in the West. Traditionally, prostitutes at NBC lie--"mounting internal dissent over the war" is primarily in sexual fantasies of low lives who write this drivel, while if there is a dissent (and it does exist) it is on the level of some people Russia who, should their wishes have been granted, would launch Bulava, Oreshnik and Kinzhals with nuclear ordnance and would turn most of Europe and 404 into the glass parking lot. Thankfully, they are not at the helm. Yes, there is that type of "dissent" among some Russians. But NBC editorial board's  supporters of pederasts, Nazis and other types of perverts wouldn't allow honest reporting on SMO.

Here is another demonstration of "dissent" by the ass-hole with rather average writing ability (he didn't bring the Soviet Union down) but who was praised universally ... by the West.

And who served in Russia as a sort-of trip wire by the oligarchic class until events of 2014 and especially of SMO completely disabled oligarchic class and with it the necessity for people to read his BS, instead of dedicating time to real history of Soviet Union, Stalin, purges and GULAG. Solzh is totally germane to Remeslo (and others) because this is "anti-regime" propaganda 101. Opportunism.

Kiev Continues To Have ...

... boogie nights. Today is yet another one, very loud, many 3M22 Zircons, 3M14 Kalibrs, Iskanders et al. One of the, likely the storage of baby food (wink, wink), targets with purely civilian products detonates wonderfully in Kiev's suburb.

A lot of noise and explosions. Trump called Putin yesterday and, likely, will call Putin after he meets green cocaine-addict in Istanbul at NATO summit in an attempt to bullshit unbullshitable yet again, but keep in mind--Russians are not interested to host Witkoff and Kushner again--tentatively they may get to Moscow in August, maybe--because there is nothing to talk about. I stress, again, for those who continue to get their news from media headlines--most of what you hear and read has no relation to reality, especially if you use Western media or the so called Russian voenwhores.

Once the hype of 250th wears off and the spectacle of World Cup comes to an end, Trump Admin will be left with the consequences of everything what had happened in Gaza, SMO and Iran and they don't go anywhere and are here to stay.

That's Borrell's Euro "Garden".

In this case it is France in a desperate fight for fans. Should be for Only Fans. This is not just THIS particular heat wave (another massive one is coming), it is that you are not allowed to warm yourself up during winter cold.

Meanwhile this is Germany and Berlin-Hamburg Ice train.

Yep.

Euros will continue to deny obvious but I will say it--EU is not recoverable and it is on the way to the third world with nice art galleries. Per remark by Alastair Crooke that DJT was heard (at G-7) telling Ze "to hit Russia as hard as he can". DJT is utterly incompetent hack with same sycophant hacks from Pentagon, CIA, AIPAC  et al surrounding him. He doesn't understand what COFM is and how it applies nor what does it mean when Vladimir Putin says "we are a step ahead of NATO". He simply has no tool kit for grasping it, plus he lives in the world of ideations and dementia.

It Has Been A Long Time ...

... since I mentioned this cretin Harry Kazianis who is nothing more than credentialed fraud with no professional anchor in anything other than BS.

The boy continues to cope by spreading BS, with no grasp of how mobilization works in Russia and what math is.

"Russia now has a military manpower problem Putin just can't solve." That's what a senior NATO offical told me last week when I plotted out this article. And he is correct. For the first time since the full-scale invasion began in February 2022, Russia is losing soldiers on the battlefield faster than it can sign up new ones to replace themThis is the single most important development in the manpower story of the war, and it represents a genuine reversal of the arithmetic that sustained Russian operations for the first three years of the fightingAccording to Ukrainian intelligence assessments, for four consecutive months from December 2025 through March 2026, the arrivals-to-departures balance has remained firmly negative, with Russian losses exceeding the number of soldiers Moscow actually managed to mobilize.

Oh, we know what shifted--NATO lost, US sustained humiliating defeat in Iran (as was predicted) and now massive campaign of coping, including through inventing absolute BS has begun. Truth is, Kazianis wouldn't understand the first thing about war, because Pentagon doesn't understand it, so some media whore with no real education and expertise certainly wouldn't get it. Math, real math which is in foundation of operational and strategic planning and modelling, and combat control, is not taught in political pseudo-science. I omit here physics and serious engineering (especially as system integrations and their use is concerned) and the whole notion that some guy with "degree" in international relations and polisci can have any ideas about modern war without long years at officer billets is down right risible.

And even that is no guarantee of anything, judging by the laughable generals and admirals from the US military who avail their "views" to members of Congress and US legacy media. With the exception, of course, of CNO Admiral Daryl Caudle who without mincing words delivered a startling truth about Strait of Hormuz. It looks very bad for the US. In fact, the optics is so bad--reality, actually is even worse--that mediawhores are in force trying to cover up a disaster by means of telling fairy tales ... about Russia, of course. Obviously, explaining to Kazianis what that is:

And why late Colonel Dupuy was mistaken in basing his calculations on lethality (not to speak of tactical-operational impact of modern weapons and C4ISR) of modern war purely on historic data, without critical factors shaping the framework:

Lethality removed from the tactical-operational framework of modern war says very little (with the exception of generic knowledge of artillery still dominating the battlefield) about effects produced. That is why US military convulses between necessity for artillery shells production and learning to its astonishment about ineffectiveness of its weapons' arsenal. E.g. US views on air defense have no connection to reality and the "lessons", especially as provided by 404, will not be learned. So ... Russia runs out of men. What else is left? Ah yes, Putin is about to be overthrown by hungry and poor Russian people and he already slipped on the stairs, fell and soiled himself--this is a fine tradition of many military "experts" in the West, who cannot resign themselves to the fact that the shift, indeed, did occur and it is not the one Kazianis or Brussels like.

Schumpeter saw it very early:

All those who are unemployed or unsatisfactorily employed or unemployable drift into the vocations in which standards are least definite or in which aptitudes and acquirements of a different order count. They swell the host of intellectuals in the strict sense of the term whose numbers hence increase disproportionately.

That's Kazianis and his ilk of butthurt redundant class selling BS. In related news--yep, they wouldn't understand this math:

No tool kit.

Excellent Point, Dmitry.

Unlike all kinds of info shysters and self-proclaimed "advisers", all those Karaganovs, Dugins, Sladkovs and other adventurists who are not allowed anywhere near decision making processes in Russia, Dmitry Polyansky is a bona fide top level Russian diplomat positioned in the middle of the hornets' nest in OSCE and he knows what he is talking about.

A very good interview. Kudos to Colonel Daniel Davis.

Stephen King's Plot.

Say It Ain't So.

And then they began to suspect that something is wrong.

Ukraine has been putting up valiant resistance, but its determination cannot disguise the fact that it is losing the war. Russia controls a large swath of Ukrainian territory, and Kyiv has little chance of dislodging it, as Ukraine’s failed counteroffensive in 2023 demonstrated. To be sure, recent Russian gains have come very slowly and at significant cost; over the last three years, Russia has taken a mere one percent of additional Ukrainian territory. But that does not change the reality that Russia now holds almost a fifth of the land within Ukraine’s 1991 borders—or that Russia’s greater resources and population mean that Moscow can fight on for years to come. Overcoming those Russian advantages and clawing back lost land on the battlefield would require time and investment that Ukraine doesn’t have. Current circumstances are therefore pushing Kyiv toward a compromise peace—one that will necessarily include the surrender of Ukrainian territory.

Maybe it has to be reminded that it is NOT Ukraine, it is NATO, and it is not losing but already lost the war, which has never been about territorial conquest. It was about elimination of the threat--a euphemism for, however horrendous, physical extermination of 404 mobilizational potential, that is to say--male population which could be used further as a cannon fodder in West's desperate attempts to "defeat" Russia.

Of course, we cannot overlook the fact that Russia not only will finish liberation of her occupied territories, but Russian troops are very deep in Kharkov, Sumy and Dnepropetrovsk oblasts of 404. And that 404 is ...

Yep, highway to hell. So, the only thing left for the West is terrorism and sabotage. Such as yet another attempt to put IED under the car of one Russian military official. FSB was there to do what FSB does.

This will continue but there are institutions and protocols in place which will continue to deal with this issue. Per my today's video, which should be up shortly, there will be some unpleasant things in it, but then again--consider my social circle which includes many senior officers of Russian military whose professional opinions I know very well and what I say in my video re: China it is not only the opinion of WaPo opinion piece but of many Russian top level military professionals. But then again, I write about it for many years.

About Starlink.

In SMO. A reminder. In order for you to enter the radio-communications room either on the ship or say command post of battalion level, you have to have Top Secret and even Special Significance clearance to even enter there.

This, of course, is unknown to most YouTube "military experts", who never have been around any serious C2 structures and whose technical and command horizon is, at best, that of a grunt. That is why they didn't understand that C4 is an extremely complex elaborate system of communications networks NONE of which has anything to do with Starlink. Here is one such element, among very many others, of satcomms of Russian military, but do not try to explain it to a crowd of military shysters who never "graduated" beyond the visuals of R-187 Azart (excellent radio for lower tactical level--squad, platoon) without even knowing its full potential.

In terms of higher tactical-operational level comms these info-shysters have no clue, including a variety of systems, from satellites' based to an elaborate system of retranslators, including based on drones, to a system of comms based on such satellite constellation as Kupol of SPRN capable of controlling Russia's nuclear forces. Not to mention communication networks for strategic missile submarines on patrol. That is why these creeps couldn't wrap their brains around the fact that Russian military is NOT dependent on any Starlink.

This Is Not News ...

... really. It has been known for a long time and that is what has been considered by Russia's strategic planners since 2013 at least, in reality since 2008.

Former Texas Representative Ron Paul said the U.S. economic order rests on “fraud” rooted in the 1971 break from gold and warned that the current system is nearing its end, in a wide-ranging 90th-birthday interview on The Tucker Carlson Podcast released Thursday. Paul, a Republican-turned-Libertarian-turned-Republican, tied his warning to the end of dollar convertibility into gold under President Richard Nixon, calling it the nation’s “first declaration of bankruptcy,” and argued that persistent money printing and deficits have created a brittle order primed for a severe correction.

The US has been into FIRE economy transition since 1980s, but it was in 1990s when the process of deindustrialization and Wall Streetization of the economy went into the overdrive. Today we have economy of this type:

With a bunch of morons who continue to believe in gimmicks and the idea that you can "make money" which are not supported by anything other than zeros in computers. As long as "growth" was provided by inflating the capitalization of some pseudo-techno mambo-jumbo they thought they should be fine. Well, no. Ponzi schemes do not last long. For a country such as the US 50 years is a short time. So, the chickens are coming home to roost. That also has been demonstrated by SMO.

Meanwhile, 404 is now "drafting" ... midgets, FFS.

Meanwhile:

A majority of Germans support direct talks between German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Russian President Vladimir Putin on ending the Ukraine conflict, the DPA news agency reported on Thursday, citing a recent YouGov poll. Some 58% of respondents said they would somewhat or strongly support such negotiations, according to the survey. Just over a quarter of respondents opposed the idea. Support for direct talks was especially high among Merz’ conservative voters, with 64% responding positively. The YouGov survey was conducted online over four days last week among more than 2,000 Germans.

There is one, well--two problems with that. There cannot be a "dialogue" anymore, only reading of the articles of capitulation. But most important one--majority of Russians do not want this "dialogue", they didn't forget German Leopards in Kursk Oblast. It is all too little, too late. This doesn't mean that normal Germans will not be met in Russia with open arms when immigrating, but Germany as an entity and as a nation is Russia's existential enemy, as is most of Europe.

I Haven't Seen ...

... any proof of it, mostly the ability to buy out traitors, which, as it turned out most of Venezuela military-political top is, but it is difficult to explain people with "military" background of Trump or Hegseth that there was no any real military operation in Venezuela. But that's Donny for you.

But as expected, I see the inflow of both "concerned citizens" and hysterical individuals in discussion boards on this blog, who push the same agenda that Russia should have done something for Venezuela, some people even invoke the Treaty on Strategic Partnership between Venezuela and Russia which, incidentally, HAS NO CLAUSE about mutual military aid, unlike it is the case of fully allied relations between Russia and North Korea per their Treaty on COMPREHENSIVE Strategic Partnership, which DOES include serious mutual military aid commitment making it a full blown military-political alliance. Comparing North Koreans, who are tough and courageous warriors with Venezuelan military which consist of mostly fifth column having no pride but only price tag--this is a wrong blog to even imply such things.

Per lament of a well-known contingent who continues to view Russia as somehow the power responsible for liberating the combined West, including the US, from a collection of nutjobs by means of defeat of this said West. Nope, I have bad news for you--Russia, unlike the Soviet Union (and even then), will not waste her resources on anyone, unless she sees a real use for her own national interests. For the 12th year I repeat ad nauseam in this blog, that if need be Russia will "negotiate" with the Devil, e.g. Syria, where Russia still maintains her military bases. But now it is the time to openly state what Russian military-intel professionals knew for a very long time--Latin America is essentially a Western Hemisphere's Arab World, all of it is about the price tag. Africa, and some of her leaders have more integrity and principles than what we observed in Venezuela, which is now covered in national shame, they may never recover.

All that being said, nothing has changed factually on the ground: the US military remains obsolete, it cannot plan, let alone conduct real massive combined arms operations, it is only capable of psyops and raids similar to Venezuelan against backward enemies who do not shoot back. So, what's left then? Greenland, where the US will send a military police squad to "regime change" and that will be it. It will also be touted as a great victory. When you lose all your wars, this will do. As per SMO, here is another demonstration to all those UAVs fanboys who still think that UAVs can win war.

Here is Akatsia:

Here is towed Msta.

Artillery, including rocket artillery, remains a critical component in REAL war, especially when considering Fire Productivity and Fire Impact of it.

Yes, Root Causes ...

... repeated over and over again by Russia, including today in Putin and Trump call.

Both the Russian and US leaders agreed that a temporary ceasefire as proposed by Ukraine and its European backers “would only prolong the conflict and risk a resumption of hostilities,” according to the Kremlin aide. Putin agreed to a proposal from Trump to continue the settlement process by forming two “working groups” to tackle security and economic issues, Ushakov said. Earlier on Sunday, Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social that he had a “very productive” conversation with Putin.

This is from RT. To understand what it going on I single out this:

Putin agreed to a proposal from Trump to continue the settlement process by forming two “working groups” to tackle security and economic issues.

In non-diplomatic language it means that the US (Trump Administration) needs to do very many things before the gate to offramp will truly open. It is a long, protracted process, though--relations between the US and Russia have been thoroughly destroyed by the US following Soviet collapse, while simultaneously degenerating into the present state of a complete political and cognitive chaos. But this is regarding the US. Europe? Here is report on that in proper wording:

The leaders of the two countries agreed to assess the proposals of Kiev and the European Union for a peaceful settlement as attempts to prolong the conflict, since proposals for a temporary ceasefire under the guise of preparing for a referendum, according to the presidents, only increase the risk of a resumption of hostilities. Both presidents agreed to call again soon after Trump's meeting with Zelensky.

Get it? That's the maneuver. That's the core issue for the US. Detach (from Europe, which is dead anyway), come to Mother Russia with atonement by means of all kinds of diplomatic and economic moves which look like mutually beneficial and the real discussion on how the US will be "integrated" into the multipolar world will commence. The US is too important of a country, a military-political entity to be ignored. Europe is not. Fate of NATO? Only morons in NATO's Brussels HQs can believe that they can fight Russia. So, it doesn't really matter what will be the outcome of Trump and Ze "negotiations".

A Specific Segment ...

... of George and me talking about these co called "peace negotiations".

Thursday, October 16, 2025

Aw, Poor, Poor Dears ...

 ... in neocon central Newsweek.

For a brief period it appeared as if President Trump had changed his strategy on Ukraine, after months of fruitless peace talks aimed at finding a diplomatic resolution to the war with Russia. Trump said last month that he believed Ukraine could beat Russia on the battlefield with more help from the West. He followed that up earlier this week by saying he might arm Ukraine with powerful Tomahawk cruise missiles that are capable of striking deep into Russian territory, putting Moscow within range. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and other senior U.S. officials also ratcheted up their rhetoric against Moscow in recent days, ahead of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to the White House Friday — a further sign, it seemed, of the shift in thinking inside the administration amid growing frustration with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s refusal to end the war. Then Trump spoke to Putin Thursday, and threw all of that into question.

As I repeat ad nauseam--the only thing the US can produce militarily now is bluff and threatening rhetoric. Morons in US MSM are just that--they are morons and do not understand their own BS noise.

Can the US supply these beautiful, powerful, shiny TLAMs to 404? Yes, it can. But then the issue arises--how do you launch them from 404 territory? Typhoon? All (like three or five) of them are in Philippines and other places in Asia. This Oshkosh X-MAV or whatever the fuck this cardboard shit is--it doesn't exist as a weapon system.

So? Well, Vladimir Putin explained to Donald today, during the phone call, that the only way the US can launch TLAMs against Russia FROM the territory (and possibly air space) of 404 is by basing B-52 or B-1B Lancers at air fields INSIDE 404. That also means that once those TLAMs are released against targets inside Russia, most military-intel targets and US (and NATO) personnel cease to exist all over Europe (together with 404, of course) and the new civilization emerges within next 1 to 2 hours. But then, Donny is correct, the US needs those TLAMs because to get even a hundred or so leakers against Russian targets, the US will need most of its TLAMs arsenal, if to imagine that the US launches outside 404. One, single salvo. There will be no second one. Meanwhile, decommunization of 404 cities continues unbated.

404 IS NOT going to have modern power generating capability and grid again. It doesn't need it--agriculture, while energy consuming, is nowhere near energy needs of the machine building complex, which 404 is not going to have.
