... all those tough "special forces" from the US and Europe is that they never operated in the environment against the enemy which is not only better than they are but has full tactical awareness on the battlefield from space down to the ground. Here, NATO "trained" 404 (well, they are NATO, in fact--better than NATO) DRGs (Diversionary Recon Groups) are getting acquainted with tactical awareness of their enemy, Russia that is.
Now, for those who still think it is done by drones only--I have news. Not necessarily and often it is a cross-fire from MLRS and artillery, or if you have Ka-52 or Mi-28 in the vicinity--they take care of it. Yes, Svod combat management system of the tactical level, sensor fusion and shit like that. It is called modern battlefield which is run by Russian Armed Forces.
