- British intelligence services have always used certain categories of Russian citizens as a tool for political pressure in the hybrid war against Russia. After the start of the special military operation, Britain intensified its efforts to consolidate the so-called Russian opposition abroad.

- The FSB has called Russian citizens who have left the country and are willing to speak out on the side of Kyiv "Vlasovites 2.0." However, such activities are impossible without the coordination of intelligence services. Behind the facade of "self-organization" lies a controlled political project (one remembers the joy over "self-organization" during the recent elections of a single-voiced extremist).

- The goal is London's attempt to create the illusion that an alternative is emerging within the Russian emigration, capable of replacing the authorities in the Russian Federation.

"Individuals who have decided to link their fate with London and who desire Russia's defeat are known to counterintelligence by name. Their fate is predetermined. We will not allow a repeat of Khrushchev's mistakes with the amnesty for Bandera supporters," the FSB stated.

Some strong wording. Especially in the last sentence. Per Britain, UK, in the wake of her departure from the global stage as a powerful state, has convinced herself that somehow she is great at international intrigue and intel operations. Whatever it takes to alleviate the pain from sun setting down on London, plus, of course, wide-spreading degeneracy from inbreeding among its ruling class. So, they try. No good at war but very good at self-promotion.

Well, without the US (and even with it) UK is a military and economic chihuahua capable of "supplying" some of the obsolete weaponry such as Challengers and Storm Shadows and then lie that they somehow have some impact. Yes, they do--they confirm that UK military is a backward obsolete joke. I am not using hyperbole here, we are looking at a collection of pompous morons capable only of terrorism and now facing some interesting dynamics with Lavrov stating that UK may become a direct party to the war. And while the two clowns from The Telegraph try to rationalize "four ways", they forget some critical things--Russia likely will choke off UK's shipping in Asia and if the UK would want to escalate (whatever that means--more terrorism I guess) here is what these cretins do not understand when they mention this "option":  Attack British facilities in Ukraine. 

Russia IS attacking "British facilities in Ukraine" and will continue to do so as well as hunting down British "advisers" and kill them. That's the reality of SMO to which UK as a nation is not prepared and fairy tales British propaganda tells its population cannot hide the fact that this is a peep-squeak of a country nowadays which desperately tries to relive halcyon days of its imperial grandeur. Well, judging by the latest events with Cambridge "professor" who was universally admired but turned out to be a fraud and then suicided himself--that's in a nutshell what British elites are. 

In related news. Russian Navy takes the latest project 09851 Khabarovsk nuclear sub, the carrier of Poseidon, to sea trials. 

To those who still cannot wrap their brains around it--Russia simultaneously builds several types of submarines: pr. 955A (Borei-class) SSBN, pr. 885M (Yasen-class) SSGN, pr. 09851 nuclear Poseidon carriers, pr. 677 Lada-class SSK. Plus modernization of other subs. And, the start by 2030 of the new class of advanced Laika (Husky) subs. Now ask yourself a question: can the US do this? Right. Meanwhile, Royal Navy cannot put to sea a single Astute-class sub. But yes, let them delude themselves. 

US "Intelligence" Community ...

 ... distinguished itself primarily with creation of fairy tales (aka narratives) and utter military incompetency. 

Russia plans to inflict maximum damage on Kyiv's energy sector by August 24 without waiting for autumn, Ukrainian media reported, citing the US intelligence community. It is reported that the Russian Army can even use a strategic reserve of ballistic missiles for strikes in order to achieve the maximum effect by the celebration of Independence Day.

This is a hallmark of the US military "intel" which is built around US military psyche like trying to tie some operations by Russian military to some "significant" date--a post traumatic addiction to Soviet dissidents' BS about Red Army doing things (like liberation of Kiev in 1943). This all is a result of historic and operational-strategic illiteracy, like applying fairy tales from WW II to modern warfare. 

Secondly, most of them will not understand a) what strategic reserves are, b) that Russia produces the number of long-range (stand-off) weapons of ALL kinds, INCLUDING quasi-ballistic Iskanders, in volumes which are order (now orders) of magnitude larger than what the US can produce, c) that in terms of latest iterations of UAVs of a long-range class such as Geraniums and Banderols (this is in effect a light cruise missile) reaching one thousand daily (like in 24 hours)--these numbers are beyond their grasp. I mean it literally--no US military and intel professional ever dealt with such production and casualties numbers ever, insofar as the last half-a-century goes. 

In fact, Russia's real military and intel professionals when making operational and strategic level assessments of the US war-making and war-fighting capability smile ironically. 

In the end, it was Pentagon and collection of its chihuahuas from UK, Germany, France et al who managed to kill almost 3 million of 404 males and resorted, naturally, to terrorism and war crimes. We are observing a train wreck in progress.

The Royal Navy has not seized any sanctioned Russian tankers because the Government fears it would breach international law. Vladimir Putin’s shadow fleet has been allowed to pass through the English Channel despite Sir Keir Starmer’s pledge, a fortnight ago, to “go after” the ships. Since The Telegraph revealed on Wednesday that Putin had sent a warship to escort sanctioned vessels through the Channel, there have been mounting questions over the Government’s failure to stop Russian ships. Now it can be revealed that Lord Hermer, the Attorney General, has given legal advice about how the ships could be tackled in British territorial waters to prevent the flow of sanctioned oil to Russia’s allies. Under his advice, ships can be boarded by special forces and officers from the National Crime Agency (NCA), but no such operations have taken place because of concerns about breaching international maritime law, which sets a high legal bar for a state to board a foreign vessel.

You see, International Law applies ONLY when you have power. And what many people still do not understand that Russians do not do grandiose gestures--they simply liberate towns and cities, they deploy navy for escorts et al. But, of course, it is not about International Law, it is about guns and missiles and marines these Russian ships carry and can prevent any attempts on boarding any tankers under Russian Navy's escort. Well, I have news for UK Defense "ministry", UK cannot afford real Navy no matter the size of "investment" because even if to imagine that this "investment" exists, the Royal Navy's capabilities will still be puny compared to those of Russian Navy. In legal terms--any attack on Russian naval ship is casus belli and will mean the end of the Royal Navy as such, for warm up. But yes, they will huff and puff, good luck with that. Yes, the way to teach them "not to be afraid of death" is to use copious amounts of methamphetamine, whose use is now traditional in the midst of 404 cannon fodder. But here comes the second question: what can possibly British military "teach" ukies? Seriously? The army which is much smaller that VSU and who learned only one thing--hide behind the back of NATO proxy. It is akin to asking local plumber to perform open heart surgery. Yet, here we are, especially when looking at UK's blabbering cretin also known as PM.

The row over the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands has erupted again after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina issued a statement asking Britain to start negotiations over it again. In a statement issued on Wednesday, the South American country said it intended to restore sovereignty over the islands and intended this to be done through diplomatic means.

You know, when you are taught as a Soviet naval cadet in 1982 that Falklands are British and that Argentina was an aggressor, that means a lot. When even Soviets say that you have sovereignty over Falklands... Keep in mind, this imbecile Javier Milei will, oh no, he IS failing the Argentinian economy, and he will drive it into the ground, as will US "economists", so, what's the good way to distract attention from economic clusterfuck? The War over Falklands-Malvinas, as was the case in 1982 when the joy from Argentina winning the World Cup of 1978 wore off.

Then Putin invaded Ukraine (again) and suddenly all eyes were back on the world’s strongest military alliance. It wasn’t long before the Arctic nations Sweden and Finland were asking to join. Once they join, every Arctic country except Russia will be a member of NATO. That matters for the same two reasons every maritime trade area in the world matters – routes and resources.

So, the guy thinks that economically insignificant Sweden and Finland joining NATO, with their brown water navies, will make any difference is delirious. With Finland's eight conventional powered ice-breaker fleet designed primarily for Baltic Sea, I am sure this will ensure Russia "losing" the Arctic. But most hilarious in this stream of consciousness is this, LOL)) 

What can the UK do in this environment?

I have news for this dude--NOTHING! UK has no resources nor experiences, with the exception of Arctic convoys in WW II and sending some of Royal Navy's SSNs, to do anything in the Arctic. Zilch, nada.  Remarkably, he admits:

The UK's "soft power" is obviously a joke and it is about time London resigned itself to the fact of it being nothing more than the capital of a second tier (at best) power, in Arctic it is altogether is nothing and is absolutely powerless, even in the wet dreams.  It is especially preposterous to read this drivel from the former RN officer. But even larger issue here is WHY this drivel was written when the whole combined West's Arctic capabilities are still dwarfed by that of Russia's.

Indian refiners have started using Chinese yuan instead of US dollars to pay for some oil imports from Russia, Reuters reported on Monday, citing people with direct knowledge of the matter. According to the sources, India’s biggest buyer of Russian crude, Indian Oil Corp, became the first state refiner to pay for some Russian purchases in yuan last month. At least two of India’s three private refiners are also paying for some Russian imports in yuan, two other sources claimed. “Some refiners are paying in other currencies like yuan if banks are not willing to settle trade in dollars,” an unnamed Indian government source was quoted as saying. The sources noted it could not immediately be determined how much Russian oil Indian refiners have bought with yuan, adding that Indian Oil has paid in renminbi for multiple cargoes.

The moment I was about to settle into the anticipation mode for the upcoming heat wave, bang, we have some pip squeak pretending that it can play a superpower. Everyone knows already that HMS Defender pretended that she is "stealth" and can defend something and violated territorial waters of Russia near Crimea. The warning shots have been fired and two OFAB-250 have been dropped on the course of British ship in full accordance to both International Law and Russia's Law of State Border and now British say that there were no shots fired and bombs dropped. Yes, yes, and UK is a global superpower and has freest political system and UK government never, like never-never, lies (all the time).  

Here is UK naval attache in Moscow getting Russia's position expressed to him in Russian MoD. No sound, and rightly so--those things are seldom made public and, who knows, the British guy may be a very nice fellow who himself may feel embarrassed.

Now two aspects. 

1. Military: BBC correspondent onboard of HMS Defender actually confirmed both artillery shots and bombing. Media also state that the crew of HMS Defender was on their stations during the incident and that indicates that they were doing this "on purpose". My hope is that British Admiralty, known today as Navy Department, understands that under such circumstances the issue here is not Russia easily sinking anything Royal Navy may decide to get into the Black Sea, but the fact that Russia, without going nuclear, can rearrange stones in London in such a way that those in British Defense Ministry who will survive will have to find proper new building to have a place to work, or serve. 

I hope they explained this simple fact to all fine lads who man Royal Navy ships, together with the fact, that there will be no United States to help UK in case cretins in London unleash conflict, because there will be no United States. In fact, seeing UK--a secondary power, which has near zero real military capability and a real GDP smaller than that of Indonesia, and even that due to non-productive service economy--trying to play games adults play is rather funny, but it is also dangerous and it may come down to provocation resulting in Royal Navy ship sunk and squealing UK running to the US and NATO for support. British used to be really good at assessing forces, evidently not anymore. Well, they better look up basic salvo equations and see for themselves how many leakers are possible even against the most advanced Royal Navy's ECM and AD. I'll give a hint--many. I am sure Russians know what it takes to deal with Aster family. In other words, UK militarily is at best a lap dog with minimal military capability which is good only for starting the war, in which UK will cease to exist as a country, forget military force, in a matter of 20-30 minutes. I am sure someone knows this in London. After all, Russia is not exactly Argentina, and even there, at Falklands, the Royal Navy had its nose bloodied pretty badly. 

2. Political. The UK is already fully declined power, which pretends that, because it has a developed banking sector and Royal Family, it matters. It does not for powers the scale of Russia, China or even the United States which are ungovernable at this moment. The days of glory for UK are long gone, with UK going into the second tier mode immediately after the WW II and then having this formalized by the US in the days of a Suez Crisis. So, the only services to its own grossly inflated ego the UK can offer are those of spoiler either on the service of globalist mafia infesting D.C. and London or in playing a pretend game that UK can develop its own coherent foreign policy. It surely can develop such a policy but it is not going to be coherent due to inability of London "elites" to think in appropriate terms, since British exceptionalism is even deeper seeded than the American one. Indeed, glorious Imperial past can do the trick on you and will make you lose a sense of scale and of proportion. 

So, the UK can certainly continue to play big power games but, as is always the case with secondary or tertiary powers, they inevitably overstretch and then collapse. In fact, British history of the 20th century is exactly the exhibit A of a declining power trying to fight a global war and then recognizing that it simply ran out of resources. But that was in WW II. Today the UK is nowhere near, when prorated for the time period, of the UK (BI) of 1939 and is a country whose whole army can fit into the new Wembley Stadium and whose Navy still thinks that it can fight a serious war and survive. Those are dangerous delusions, but I, honestly, cannot recall in the recent two decades at least a single common sense foreign policy idea coming from London. But London has to face a reality that the times of a "big game" are long gone and Russia can wipe out the whole of UK with its navy and army in a matter of minutes, while UK cannot do the same to Russia--she is too damn strong and is in a different league across the board than UK. Simple as that, hence rabid Russo-phobia of British "upper" class.  I can feel their pain. 

That, in general, gives one a framework for the recent incident and somebody really needs one of the Royal Navy's ship to be send to the bottom and it is a matter of a educated guess where this criminal warmonger (or warmongers) is hiding primarily--in London, or in D.C. Something tells me that looking at Dieppe in August 1942 and such specimens as Mountbatten, who saw thousands of Canadians sacrificed for a murky political goal, may give an idea that there is no atrocity, or stupidity, or turpitude official London can fail to justify. We saw it today and that is typical. Russians know that.
