The US Army can show us any of its proxies in the last 20+ years being a competent force? Plus, I am sure, those in VSU who graduated military academies on still Soviet and immediate post-Soviet programs know way more than those "trainers". Not to mention the fact of many of those VSU trying to survive a real army in the last 3 months--an affair unfamiliar to the US Army in principle. Risible. As was stated not for once, those "advisers" there can only learn, not teach those who know more than their "teachers".

The United States gets its lunch consisting of EU and its industries but that too doesn't change much since the United States suddenly discovers that it barely has enough for itself, especially in terms of what matters the most--energy--and even coming trashing of Democrats at mid-terms changes very little in terms of overall national economic and political health, because the realities on the ground in Ukraine are such that the US made a very wrong bet. It is not surprising, American "elites" are as incompetent and ignorant as their European counterparts. 

 

Per Azov Steel--good decision by Kremlin. Not only Russia saves the lives of her soldiers but makes sure that somebody inside the plant is (are) convinced by hunger, thirst and the onset of Kubler-Ross paradigm to come out and surrender. Or die. Not only Mariupol is liberated but it is the fact that it was the most heavily armed and trained grouping of VSU and Nazi brigades which was supposed to repeat Stalingrad which was annihilated. The plan for defense of this festung was developed in Pentagon and, naturally, it failed. Somebody is hiding there, somebody interesting. Who could this be, hmm? I wonder. Will this or those hiding there commit a suicide in order to not surrender to those nasty Rosskies or will they decide that they may have a chance to be "exchanged" into their native countries? We'll see. It is getting curioser and curioser.

I mean the desperation with which VSU and especially Neo-Nazis tried to evacuate "someone" from Mariupol by means of losing (I lost count) a number of helis, which were shot down. As Russian MoD officially states:

Результаты радиоперехватов показывают, что кроме нацистов из батальона "Азов" и остатков украинских вооруженных сил, в оккупированных районах города находится значительное количество иностранных наемников. Радиопереговоры, кроме украинского и русского, ведутся еще на шести, в основном европейских, иностранных языках", - сказал Конашенков.

Translation:  The joint operation of the troops of the Donetsk People's Republic and units of the Russian armed forces continues to completely liberate the city of Mariupol. The results of radio intercepts show that in addition to the Nazis from the Azov battalion and the remnants of the Ukrainian armed forces, a significant number of foreign mercenaries are located in the occupied areas of the city. Radio communications, in addition to Ukrainian and Russian, are conducted in six more, mainly European, foreign languages," Konashenkov said.

So, in this case it is safe to assume that not only those mercenaries will be treated "properly", but those who survive will be paraded at war crimes tribunal and then will, if they are lucky and not transferred to LDNR for further execution for war crimes, be sent to sunny Siberia or Mordovia for the attitude adjustment in the high security resorts, after which they may wish they have been killed in Mariupol. 

In related news, yet another unit of VSU marines surrendered and good for them, they will live. 

Per bestiality in Kramatorsk, and VSU's launch of Tochka U at civilians--this type of the activity will continue, because this is the only way the Western handlers of regime in Kiev know how to fight the war--by mostly killing defenseless people and then blaming it on somebody else. The pattern is recognizable and it will continue for obvious reasons that Russia is "losing" and was supposed to run out of everything couple of weeks ago, right? That's what glorious British media and their "experts" told us. Will the US use tactical nuke on Kiev? Do not put this pass neocons and their enablers from the US MSM. 

About Treating Russian POWs...

Bestiality and sadism are usually associated with two major things: desperation from losing and visceral hatred, characteristic of fanatical movements which, in 404, is Neo-Nazism. Here is this video of torturing and barbaric execution of several Russian POWs. These are people in 404 who are supported by Western media and many in US military and "intelligence" community. Same as a slaughter of innocent children in Beslan or taking hostages by Chechen and international terrorists have been lauded by US media and fault was placed squarely on Russia and Putin personally. 

I am on record that media in general, but especially Western media are not normal humans in terms of basic human morality and behavior. So, they have the reckoning coming with their exposure as war criminals. These videos are just a tiny part of atrocities Ukie Neo-Nazis continue to commit in 404 against civilians (forget POWs, they are too few) by killing, torturing and using them as human shield. New Nuremberg is coming and there, be it in Donetsk, Moscow or Crimea, the names, including Western politicians, intel operatives and media will be stated next to the pictures of war crime on a mass scale and the charges will be leveled, including media types from the US and Europe.

As you may have guessed it already, now many Russian forces are "freed" to get involved on other operational directions (axes). In related news, the head of LNR Leonid Pasechnik already stated that LDNR (both) are ready for referendum to join Russia. Totally expected, it also opens clearly budget means for restoration and final integration of LDNR economies to Russia. Now we begin to look at  Nikolaev and Odessa. Finally, a massive use of methadone and  hard drugs by remnants of Azov is confirmed. They know what expects them.

POTUS made a declaration in Warsaw in his speech, he stated that Russian economy will shrink two fold (hm, what it reminds me about, I wonder, wink, wink) due to sanctions and then stated something altogether strange--he stated that Ruble to US Dollar going rate is: 200 to 1 (in Russian). Well... Here is March 26 (I mean today) and here is the reality:

It is the same ol' story about "15,000 KIAs", this time about economy--it is all desperation that makes them lie non-stop top-bottom. They all lie, because they feel the end coming. Pay also attention to the news (in the picture) mentioning Daily Mail, while NY Post also runs this headline:

Well, color me surprised... not. As I state non-stop, one has to even lie professionally, by "professionally" meaning making lies believable--they cannot do that in the West due to incompetents dominating corridors of power and influence from Brussels to Washington D.C. Plus, it is my assertion for a long time that most of them in those corridors do not even understand what real economy is and why, even if it would come this, you know 200 Rubles to 1 USD, it would make little difference because Russians want Rubles, not Dollars and Ruble today, unlike it was in the Soviet Union, buys you anything you want, because Russia IS NOT the country of deficit as Soviet Union was. 

So, basically POTUS lying openly to everyone merely proves the level of desperation in D.C. regarding this whole 404 business, after all, the US wanted to see Russia getting her nose bloodied there, but it turned out quite differently. Again, I reiterate, those who "planned" Iraq and Afghanistan, it goes logically, would have huge difficulties understanding and assessing what goes on in Ukraine today. I just have one advice--hire more lawyers and PR people, they will show you how to plan and assess military campaigns properly, or how to govern (wink, wink). 

Here are VSU soldiers surrendering (Nazis--are a different thing, they will be annihilated or taken prisoners and persecuted):

They will be taken care of (medical, food, bathing, rest) and after filtration will be either sent back home or given an option to form police forces in newly freed regions of Ukraine serving for new Military-Civilian Administrations. Per the amphibious ship Saratov, it is a loss and being a very old ship she will be struck down. The ammo compartment exploded due to hit by cassette warhead and it started a massive fire. The fire was dealt with, but this old ships is a goner.  

Mariupol: a drastic drop in intensity of Neo-Nazi response by heavy weapons is reported (they simply are running out of ammo) and the city sees law and order returning. As War Gonzo reports: the actual size of fanatical Nazi force in Mariupol was around 20,000, most of it is annihilated and two pockets which are left and shrinking both contain roughly of 3,000 each. This was yesterday. Judging by reports of very many Nazis trying to escape Mariupol even dressing in women's clothing Mariupol's operation is at its end and most what is left is smoking out a remainder of what was considered the best fighting force in 404, and de-mining the city.

The first thing which is checked for belonging to Nazi groups are their tattoos and then indicators of carrying and using small arms. Then FSB and LDNR Security people take it from there. Macron meanwhile talks about introduction of coupons for the right to buy groceries in France (Oh, boy, USSR of late 1980s comes to mind) and after watching yesterday people in one of the French grocery stores fighting for vegetable oil, yep, seems like this is coming. If you are listening to the U.S. media about the war in Ukraine, Russia is struggling and on the ropes. But the map and the following videos tell a different story:

Look up this story using the link above. Watch videos (I wish I could translate the rap in LDNR video), they are worth it. It seems Russia stopped caring about VSU losses, if they cannot rise against Nazis in their midst--they will die. But the numbers of surrendering VSU did increase. 

But because Friday is coming, I want to point your attention to this video which now literally became Russia's (and Donbass) second anthem. It is called Behind Us Is Donbass. 

In the Western "elites" they do not have enough culture and intellect to even grasp what is shown in this video. References to Great Patriotic War are all there, my maternal grandfather Prigozhin Nikolai Grigorievich was killed there in 1941 in Donbass.  Girls also sang it in Luzhniki six days ago.

When Russians begin to invoke God, Cross, Not Kneeling  and Price in their songs... run, run for your life. You cannot explain this to low-lives from MSM, they have no faculties to grasp it. Because they know the price of everything (themselves included) and value of nothing.

Larry Johnson On Operations.

I am being hammered by messages from all kinds of armchair strategists who think that they are qualified enough to make conclusions on operation based of such sources as WSJ or CNN.  Here is Larry doing a professional job for them:

Russian military strikes in Western Ukraine during the past week have shocked and alarmed NATO officials. The first blow came on Sunday, March 13 at Yavoriv, Ukraine. Russia hit the base with several missiles, some reportedly hypersonic. Over 200 personnel were killed, which included American and British military and intelligence personnel, and hundreds more wounded. Many suffered catastrophic wounds, such as amputations, and are in hospital. Yet, NATO and the western media have shown little interest in reporting on this disaster. Yavoriv was an important forward base for NATO (see here). Until February (prior to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine), the U.S. 7th Army Training Command was operating from Yavoriv:

Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine is the name given to the mission of training, equipping, training center development and doctrinal assistance to the Ukrainian armed forces. 7th Army Training Command oversees the JMTG-U mission at the Yavoriv Combat Training Center, most recently manned by Task Force Gator, 53rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Florida Army National Guard.

Read the whole thing at Larrys' blog and pay attention to graphics. As you understand, this is just one of the episodes of a war. The other one is "sudden" (not really) appearance of Russian forces near Krivoy Rog--a precise maneuver which morons from WSJ, following ukie propaganda and "advice" from their "experts", interpreted yesterday as a "victory" by VSU, when in reality it was a classic bypass of already blocked Nikolaev. 

Now, for those who still whine about "slow" progress. Here is a demonstration--roughly 12 by 10 miles snippet of the terrain in Donbass:

These are just some towns and villages concentrated in this NOT the most densely populated area. Practically ALL of Eastern Ukraine is nothing more than just one huge agglomeration of small to middle size towns and villages forming essentially one huge urban area, much of it reinforced by concrete bunkers and underground lines of communications. 404 spent last 8 years as one LDNR tanker said it yesterday--"pouring it (concrete) in"(c). It takes time to clear all of a very large ukie force entrenched there. 

Per Mariupol and elsewhere: Russia gives the remnants of Azov a corridor out of Mariupol which they can enter without arms. This is also the attempt to save remaining around 100,000 civilians, many of who are used as human shield. Azov has been essentially beaten into the ground at the Azov Steel plant and if they disagree, they will be finished off and that will mark the end of Mariupol operation. That also frees a lot of units for operations elsewhere. Now, Zhitomir base for mercenaries and NATO instructors has been hit by stand-off weapons, 100+ are confirmed dead, the number most likely will grow. And, of course, Nazi "battalion Donbass" has been largely wiped out and its remnants together with remnants of 54 OMBR of VSU will be finished off shortly.  This is some sort of a sitrep for today.

About Mariupol.

Here is the video from War Gonzo on how "brave" Azov is going to fight, while not allowing people to leave their homes and be used as a human shield.  

The mop up operation, however, continues in Mariupol and Nazis are being driven closer to the city center and they have no chances because Mariupol is completely blocked by LDNR and Russian forces. This video explains extremely well what Russian forces do and what they have to deal with, and why all those pathetic speculations about "slowing down" are propaganda and sophomoric BS. Everything is being done to minimize civilian losses in a face of terrorist tactics of using innocent civilians. 

Moreover, I reiterate, operation develops as planned and reserves haven't been introduced yet and it is done for a reason--numerically smaller Russian and LDNR force already did what is called a strategic reconnaissance in force and in doing so demolished VSU almost entirely. I am on record, and you can and are encouraged to quote me on this--this operation will be studied in military academies around the world for many decades to come. It is something absolutely unique in scale, scope and surgical precision. Here is summary (aggregate) on VSU for March 9.
 

VSU and Nazi units now are nothing more than several cauldrons of isolated formations, which are without centralized control and are being reduced as I type this. Again, reserves haven's been introduced yet. They will be, but that is a separate topic. As will be now increasingly prominent issue of the US biological weapons program in Ukraine. In related news, the project of legislature on nationalization of assets of Western companies leaving Russia due to sanctions was approved by the Judicial Commission of Russian Government for State Duma to turn it into the law (in Russian). 

Is the United States ready to sacrifice Eastern Europe? Not out of the realm of possibilities. Poland begins to feel the heat.

“Poland is not a party to this war. We want peace as soon as possible. And NATO is also not a party to this war,” Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki told reporters, reiterating his call for the US-led NATO alliance to decide on the potential delivery of Warsaw-owned aircraft to Ukraine. The remarks took place in Vienna, as he was meeting Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer on Wednesday. The delivery must be approved by the whole bloc, and Washington in particular, Morawiecki insisted. “Such a serious decision as the handover of planes must be a unanimous and unambiguous decision made by the entire NATO. Today, this decision is in the hands of NATO, in the hands of the Americans,” the PM stated.

As I state non-stop, any "transfer" of combat aircraft to 404 will merely assure those aircraft being destroyed either in the air or on the airfields of the "host" (presumably NATO members) and militarily is absolutely meaningless. This is a primer for Wednesday. 

Well, So Much For "Unity".

VSU used good ol' "Tochka U" against Nazi (Azov) forces in Mariupol. Killed a shitload of those. This was VSU's the revenge for attempt of Azov thugs against VSU's general. Mariupol is on the verge of the humanitarian catastrophe and Nazis openly use civilians as human shield. The operations by LDNR forces are already within the city limits (at the outskirts) and mopping up will be tough.

Some numbers of mercenaries are reported both within Mariupol and elsewhere and the videos and photos with those "soldiers of fortune" in the different stages of the decomposition after meeting Russian and LDNR forces are coming. As you all know, they are outside the framework of Geneva Convention, so make your own conclusions. 

Herr Scholz lost it completely and demanded, in his phone talk with Putin, to immediately "stop all hostilities" and allow "humanitarian aid" into Ukraine (in Russian). In related news, Scholz is a puppet with zero geopolitical weight and is a servant of the Empire. Putin, being a nice guy, spoke to him for an hour. I totally understand Bernhard's (of MoA) depressed mood. Europe willingly committed suicide and reduced itself to a lunch for the US.

The question remains, why did all those who for so long foretold this war do so little to stop it, and so much to hasten the disaster Russia has now set in motion?

Indeed. Why didn't the government of Germany guarantee in writing that it would veto any additional NATO membership? It would have solved at least half of the problem. Why didn't any other NATO government do so? And what are they doing now? Where are their initiatives for peace? It is over. The Ukraine is gone. Russia has won. Energy and wheat prices have doubled. With inciting a longer fight Europe only increases its own loses.

Not only Germany didn't try to stop the insanity of Ukraine's descent into the quagmire of the neo-Nazism and economic catastrophe. Germany and its long-time leader Merkel were one of the main driving forces behind this catastrophe despite Russia warning Germany (and the rest of Europe) about what was coming since 2014. They didn't listen, now EU is beginning to pay the price. And it is just the start. Bernhard is correct when summarizing:

Together with the economic devastation that U.S. and European sanctions on Russia are causing in their own economies this will end in regime-changes in several European countries. The U.S. is of course again protecting itself from as much as it can at the cost of others.

The desperation on the US part manifested itself in Lindsey Graham calling for assassination of Putin. 

Sen. Lindsey Graham has called for the Julius Caesar-style assassination of Russian President Vladimir Putin. "Is there a Brutus in Russia? Is there a more successful Colonel Stauffenberg in the Russian military?" Graham tweeted on March 4. Graham was referring to Brutus, a historical figure who assassinated Julius Caesar, and Claus von Stauffenberg, an army officer who tried and failed to kill Adolf Hitler.

This is everything one needs to know about American political "elites" because these views are shared by many of them.  Kremlin reacted coolly and pretty proforma:

US Senator Lindsey Graham has been driven crazy by the ongoing tensions between Moscow and the West, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov implied, following calls from the politician for the assassination of Russian President Vladimir Putin. “Not everyone can remain cool-headed these days, some [people] lose their senses,” Peskov told a press conference, commenting on Graham’s statements made on Thursday during an appearance on Fox News. Graham suggested during the show that “somebody in Russia” should kill Putin. Peskov pointed to the “hysterical stirring-up” of anti-Russian sentiment in the US, calling it a “Russophobic meltdown” of sorts. 

This is the right kind of reaction because Graham is a war criminal and coward and his desperation is understandable. Here is how they phrase it in a BS "market lingo".

The number of traders with bullish positions on oil options is growing fast amid soaring international benchmarks.

Translated into normal human language it means that oil and gas continue to rise and that means, as you we all know, not just eradication of EU's manufacturing industries but the push of the US towards "recession". Yes, let's call this thing a "recession", for now. As a result look at the wheat prices' dynamics. 

And you may have guessed it already--Russia is the largest wheat exporter in the world. I will omit here data on strategic resources such as rare-earth metals and fertilizers, of which Russia and Belarus account for almost 40% of world supply and you can draw the picture yourself. Europe, meanwhile, lost more than 160 million people market (Russia and Belarus) and with upcoming addition of another 20-25 millions in Ukraine, we are looking at 180-185 million. This is serious, folks, especially considering the fact that modern Russia is not poor on average and is able to pay. Good job, Europe.  Good luck in your new life, whatever is left of it. Make no mistake, I have no schadenfreude, I do empathize with Europeans, but each nation deserves government it elects. Frau Merkel and Euro "elites" did all they could to bring Europe down. Somebody has to pay and it surely is not Russia.
