Russia, sensing victory, cheers Trump’s latest shift against Ukraine. Kremlin officials are crowing that Western support of Ukraine is about to collapse, and Trump’s recent moves are steps to closer alignment between Russia and the United States.

Trump "latest shift" didn't materialize out of the thin air or because of Trump's good intentions. It is not Russia "sensing victory", which already has been won, it is the US "sensing defeat", which produced this shift. WaPo continues:

Trump’s recent ratcheting up of pressure on Zelensky could mean the U.S. president is again seeking to strong-arm the Ukrainian leader into a deal on terms favorable to Moscow.

Well, Moscow will get it one way or another--it doesn't matter now. It is all about saving Washington's face, nothing more. The scale of catastrophe for the US (and combined West) in 404 is monumental. History's turning point. Combined with defeats on several other fronts--from getting beaten up by Iran to Saudis facing a defeat--it adds up to a geopolitical earthquake of unparalleled power.

In other words, not only the qualities of an individual munition are becoming important, but also the number of high-precision effects that industry and aviation are able to provide for the same amount of resources as before. That is, there is a clear trend towards reducing the cost of guided weapons without a significant decrease in their effectiveness.

Their combined production is a tiny fraction of a new types of weapons such as Geranium-4, 5 and Banderol and Dan'. New optronic (machine vision) channels on all those weapons and likely appearance of active radar homing on them turn those into a deadly shoot-and-forget stand-off weaponry produced in thousands per month (as in 30 days)--US simply has no industrial capacity to match no matter what. Per Europe--nobody is going to fight it conventionally if those cretins will decide to attack (with what?)--they will cease to exist in under 45 minutes.
