I am not going to delve deep into the operational peculiarities of what is coming and decision, highly likely, was already made, but there are ways, as I stated yesterday, to finish off France's nuclear deterrent without it being able to launch. After that France will be reduced to a drab poor poodle with no real military capabilities and that may coincide with strikes on whatever remains of Germany's military industry. No nukes will be used. Some people say that Kiev must go. Certainly possible, but in general--Europe as it exists today will go too. This is for those morons who watched too many movies and read to much hack BS by Tom Clancy. I post it here again:

An obsessive desire that in recent years has already broken through to the slogan to inflict a "strategic defeat" on Russia, reflecting a long-term, centuries-old strategy, as it now turns out. At some point in our history, after the creation of the UN, the OSCE and the disappearance of the Soviet Union, the prospects for coexistence and even cooperation with the West seemed very realistic to us. All this has gone into oblivion. Open war has been declared on us. For this, the Kyiv regime is used as a "tip". But everyone knows that this "tip" is helpless without material filling with Western weapons, intelligence, satellite systems, assistance in the training of military personnel and much more - everyone knows this. The Kiev regime and the Ukrainian state are openly being used as a geopolitical battering ram. Here some outspoken guys, I think, in the Belgian General Staff, publicly stated that they were preparing for a war with Russia, that Ukraine was helping them buy time. As they say, much more frankly.

This is Lavrov three weeks ago. Russia's diplomats, intel community, military are much more professional than their West's counterparts and they are very precise in definitions and meanings. When Russian diplomacy's top echelon--Lavrov, Ryabkov, Polyansky, Zakharova et al begin to speak in these terms that means only one thing--the decision has been made. Who will be first--that remains to be seen, many juicy and prestigious targets.  Anybody who thinks that the US will engage--I have news for them, or rather the question--with what? Does the US want to go nuclear? It is not about exchanging Chicago for St. Petersburg--this paradigm is long gone. It is more about if both US seaboards (hence my tireless work in trying to warn about realities--I live on the beautiful Pacific shore and I want the US to survive, vested interest, you see) survive at all. 

In related news, US self-proclaimed "expert" (who completely discredited and paraded himself as a hack with the "destruction"  of Rostov-on-Don SSK, which is fine and is in the first line service with Black Sea Fleet) H.I. Sutton continues coming to grips with underwater technologies which are beyond the grasp of the US Navy. 

Khabarovsk is an all-in bet on the Poseidon weapon. Her capabilities as a regular attack submarine without this weapon, while still viable, are sorely compromised. Poseidon (2M39, NATO reporting name Kanyon) is a strategic weapon designed to threaten coastal cities and strategic targets. Although much reporting on it is exaggerated or overly speculative, we can determine that operates as a weapon, not a general-purpose drone. Russia also claims that it can be used to attack tactical targets including aircraft carrier battle groups. The longer-term impact of Poseidon has yet to be felt. It has to be taken seriously by NATO navies but has not become the focus or pivot which Russia might have been hoping for.

LOL. He cannot even grasp strategic and operational realities of the Russian Navy, but then again--he is a product of the system (even without knowing his C.V.) which produced no viable military technology in ages and loses all its wars even against subpar opponents. 

So, naturally, he operates within tactical, operational and strategic rut which is in the foundation of a humiliation of the US Navy in and around Strait of Hormuz.

HELSINKI, February 27. /TASS/. Russian icebreakers are providing assistance to several cargo ships stuck in the ice in the Gulf of Finland and in the territorial waters of Finland. This was reported by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. According to the agency, Finnish ships "are being assisted in the framework of international cooperation with Russian icebreakers" in accordance with the usual winter practice of navigation. Also, at the specific request of the agency, the Russian icebreaker can provide assistance to a cargo ship in the territorial waters of Finland.

Yes, this was supposed to be Europe of normal people. Not anymore. Western ruling class has something else in store for Europeans. Here is the news of a similar nature but ... 

The icebreaker “Neuwerk” was moved from the North Sea to the Baltic Sea to clear a channel to the frozen LNG terminal in the port of Mukran. Now, the “Neuwerk” has broken down due to a technical defect, causing the critical bottleneck to reappear. As a result, the LNG tanker “Minerva Amorgos” is still unable to dock at the terminal, as the channel to the port of Mukran remains impassable due to a thick layer of ice. The LNG tanker has been waiting in the ice-free zone in front of the LNG terminal for more than a week.

Here is a maneuver by forces by Russia. 

A heavy freeze in the Gulf of Finland forces Russia to move two icebreakers, among them the nuclear-powered Sibir, away from Arctic waters. On February 12, the Sibir entered Norwegian waters and subsequently sailed southwards on a course for St. Petersburg. In its wake followed the diesel-engined icebreaker Murmansk. It is freezing cold midwinter and the sea ice lies thick and heavy over Arctic waters. Ships are struggling to reach their destinations along Russia’s northernmost coasts. Nevertheless, Russia is redirecting a powerful nuclear icebreaker from the Arctic to the Baltic Sea and Gulf of Finland. Only a few days ago, the icebreaker was busy with icebreaking in the Gulf of Ob and Kara Sea. For most of January it was engaged in escorting a convoy of vessels to and from the east Arctic settlement of Pevek. On February 18, the Sibir arrived in St. Petersburg, where it immediately engaged in assisting ice-trapped vessels.

This is a great point for Russia's ice-breakers ship-builders and only buttresses Russia's "more is better" ice-breaking ideology. That is why coming of this:

US hypersonic missile warship put to sea. A United States warship recently completed sea trials following upgrades to launch hypersonic missiles capable of striking targets at over five times the speed of sound. USS Zumwalt, one of three Zumwalt-class stealth destroyers, underwent modernization to become the first U.S. Navy platform capable of launching the Conventional Prompt Strike, or CPS, a hypersonic boost-glide missile designed to defeat enemy defenses.

I have news--the US doesn't have hypersonic weapons and is not going to have them any time soon. So, sticking some VLS for non-existent weapon to the white elephant is not producing "hypersonic missile warship", which, in the end is absolutely defenseless against real hypersonic weapons. Yes, the US Army announced the "fielding" of LRHW. Fielding being the term for all kinds of activities not related to actual weapon. But let me remind you about this weapon. 

Another Army officer at the event, who is not immediately identifiable, told Hegseth that Dark Eagle has a warhead “under 30 pounds,” which is relatively tiny for a long-range weapon — smaller in size than what’s found on an AIM-120 air-to-air missile, for instance. The officer stated the warhead is just to get its “projectiles out” and that it can deliver effects over an area about the same size as the parking lot they were standing on.

The Navy has its own program, Intermediate Range Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Weapon System, as you might expect--the weapon also doesn't exist and when it will, nobody knows. But you can be assured of a variety of headlines and articles explaining how these weapons WILL work if they ever become actual weapons. But then we will have to get into the operational details of the modern naval warfare, where any US Navy's ship is nothing but a fat prestigious target and that in real world of conventional war it is not survivable. And then, of course, comes this issue of anti-missile defense and requirements for anti-hypersonic intercepts, but let's hope that the US and Russia (and China) find some modus vivendi. Otherwise it will take a long time trying to explain this. 

And what it all means for strategic balance. And I am not even talking about this. 

You have to explain to Pentagon that they need to attend elementary hyper-sonic school before trying to catch up. But no worries, the US military "is a finest fighting force in history"(c).

Let me get it straight--9 million pounds, missile with the range of 300 miles, ballistic, by British ... LOL)) Next thing you know, London will develop a Death Star for 404 for "1 million Dollars"(c) 

UK would be better off just providing Scalp/Stormshadow cruise missiles which are good for primarily attacking civilian apartment blocks, but you know ... even Daily Mail made today some astonishing admission of which I talk in my latest video which should be up relatively soon. In an interview published on Saturday by The Independent, Field Marshal David Richards – who held his post from 2010 to 2013 and earlier commanded NATO forces in Afghanistan – accused Ukraine’s backers of failing the country. Western countries, he argued, encouraged Kiev to fight, but they have “not given them the means to win.” “My view is that they would not win,” even if Ukraine were given all the necessary resources, he said. “They haven’t got the manpower.” According to Richards, the only scenario in which Ukraine could hope to win is a direct NATO intervention, “which we won’t do because Ukraine is not an existential issue for us.”

It is not surprising for a man who hails from the country which doesn't have real army or real professional officer corps education. He has a degree in International Relations and obviously has no idea about what modern war is. Completing 42 weeks Higher Command and Staff Course from King's College does not make real serious operational (forget about strategic) planner, period. Simple as that--one MUST have a serious STEM with a strong focus on military technology background, period! And then, of course, comes the REAL history of modern operations ... If Richards wants to take a look at how graduates of those British military degree mills performed--he should study how they managed to kill 80,000 VSU (and NATO) cannon fodder on 159 square miles of Kursk "offensive". So, without all that what one has are wet dreams.

Well, yeah--NATO has been not just defeated, it was utterly humiliated and exposed for the paper tiger that it is. BRICS is flourishing, and Europe is getting poorer. Hello! There will be no "trilateral" alliance, because that place is now firmly occupied by Iran, but I spoke about this on a number of occasions--Turkiye's future is in Eurasia where it truly belongs, minus the idiotic idea of pan-Turkism which Russia will not allow to develop, not to mention the fact that Turkiye doesn't have economic wherewithal to actually support this funny ideology other than propaganda and some moderate size projects. Turkiye should simply continue to pursue her objective of becoming a full member of BRICS and of SCO. NATO is over, so is Europe. Somebody in political top in Ankara has finally noticed what average Turks knew for a long time.

It is always the same scenario for NATO and their terrorist SOBs in 404. The remnants of this Nazi shithole and its willing accomplices are being steadily consumed by Russia's war machine and it cannot be reversed.

The threat of airspace violations and drone attacks is obviously a shared concern for all allies. But would you say that countries with a longer border to Russia are more exposed in this regard, and could they expect some specific or enhanced help from NATO to tackle this situation?  Thank you.

Of course, the problem is, this is about the eastern flank, because here is a direct threat to the eastern flank from, for example, drones or whatever, could threaten our Allies on the eastern flank. But more generally speaking, you know, I don't like that whole eastern flank thinking, because it gives the impression that if I live in Madrid or in London, I am safer than when I live in Tallinn. And it is not true. Because these latest Russian missiles, when they will be launched, they come down with five times the speed of sound, and they will take five or 10 minutes longer to reach Madrid or London than they take to reach Tallinn or Vilnius. So, in that sense, let's agree that within this Alliance of 32 countries, we all live on the eastern flank. Why is this Eastern Sentry so important? Because this concentrates on this very specific issue, which is airspace violations and making sure and whatever other threat is there, that we can better and with more flexibility, defend ourselves in that part of NATO territory.

I am talking here about things which are IMPLICIT in Rutte's answers and which many people will simply overlook. But here is the truth even AFTER the signing of the INF Treaty--USSR in 1980s and Russia ALWAYS had the ability to wipe out Madrid or London by classic strategic missiles either form SSBNs or RVSN, including mobile and stationary ICBM systems. It wouldn't have made ZERO difference in terms of warning time because NATO never had, has and will not have for a foreseeable future anything even remotely capable of intercepting MIRVs of ICBMs. None, zero--all this SM-3, SM-2 "capabilities"--all crap and we saw the state of "development" of the US AD/ABM in SMO and Israel. 

So, it is not JUST "latest Russian missiles", it was always the case starting from late 1960s. By late 1970s NATO could do shit about any kind of defense other that cartoons about SDI (aka Star Wars) and the largest secret was not the capability but a complete lack of thereof. Considering the dynamics of the reduction of the physical fields of Soviet strategic missile submarines with USSR getting on par with the US in terms of quieting already by mid-late 1980s, all this talk about "latest Russian missiles" is just the only thing these morons in NATO can do today--words' play, semantic maneuvering, while in reality it was only cretinism and treason of Gorbachev and his "team" which gave the US (NATO) a respite from what has been already clear before the collapse of the Soviet Union--the US was beginning to lag behind in critical military technologies, especially missilery. Today we merely see delayed effect which caught up with NATO, which was merely saved by the bell of the Soviet collapse. They really believed their own propaganda BS and NATO is defenseless. Well, it is also bankrupt and unprofessional. 

They should have taken a note in 1980s when they saw this. Some did, but they don't like bad news in D.C. and Brussels. Albeit these things did produce an impression. 

And then the rest happened and here we are today in 2025. 

Why Russians Are ...

That Was The Plan ...

The US president has been pressuring Europe’s NATO members to take responsibility for their own defense since his first term in office, including by raising related spending. In an interview with NBC released on Friday, the US president outlined his approach to sending arms to the military bloc in the future. “We send weapons to NATO, and NATO is going to reimburse the full cost of those weapons,” he said. “NATO is paying for those weapons, 100%.” He added that after Washington’s NATO allies acquire the weapons, “then NATO is going to be giving those weapons [to Ukraine].”

There are still many in the US military-political top who still believe, due to the low mental abilities, that one can fight with overpriced and dubiously effective US-made weapons (euphemism for junk), but as long as European populace is whipped literally and figuratively speaking into the concentration camp mentality and brainwashed, which is easily done, into hatred of Russia, it will be easy to kill off whatever is remaining of European industries and military-industrial complex. "And did we tell you the name of the game, boy? We call it Riding the Gravy Train" as immortal Pink Floyd defined it. Morons in D.C. still think that they can do both mutually exclusive things--ride the gravy train selling military junk to Europe, while simultaneously whipping Euro-cucks into the war frenzy for yet another march on Moscow. Cretins from D.C. still think that they will not be turned into the parking lot, or that one can fight the war of the 21st century based on TOE from 1990. But ...

Fact is, the process is underway and accelerating:

Dimon, CEO of one of the world’s largest banks, cautioned EU leaders at an event in Dublin hosted by the Irish Foreign Ministry on Thursday that Europe has lost its competitive edge compared to the US and is facing a growing crisis in economic competitiveness. “You’re losing,” he said. “Europe has gone from 90% [of] US GDP to 65% over 10 or 15 years.”

Even by the fake GDP metric used by all kinds of finance shysters from the US it is clear where it is all going. I warned about it for many years. Now it has come to fruition. Have a cigar, boys.(c)

All that remains is the grotesque performance art of a diplomatic zombie stumbling from summit to summit, mouthing tired clichés about “shared values” and “burden sharing,” even as its core strategic logic lies rotting beneath the surface. The Atlantic Alliance, once the steel scaffolding of Western security, has become a hollow ritual. Its military readiness is an illusion. Its political cohesion is fraying. Its future, if it has one, lies not in revival—but in reinvention or replacement.
