Putting aside Trump's intentions (and there is a lot to be said about those, read Larry's latest on Trump) and main engine behind his policy formulations, Stephen Miller, one thing remains absolutely clear. Europe is impotent and for anyone who thinks that France or anyone else in Europe will not be influenced by intimidation--I have a bridge to sell you. Cash only. This progress is related to the temporary moratorium that Russia adhered to — a moratorium on not striking energy infrastructure facilities,” Peskov said. He added that while Moscow has honored this moratorium, “the same cannot be said for the Ukrainian side.”

How do we know that Russia has a contingency plan for the US "withdrawal"? Well, through Moscow being nonchalant about this prospect. 

Peskov was also asked to comment on US Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s statement that the US could abandon its efforts to reach a peace deal between Moscow and Kiev if it feels that no progress is being made on the issue. The spokesman stated that whether or not the US would actually withdraw from the settlement process is a question that should be asked in Washington.

Which merely supports my thesis about Europe having a visceral hatred for Russians not just as the result of brainwashing, always present, but as Europe's organic, natural state of both racial and cultural hatred deeply rooted in historic experiences and views.  

For Europeans it is about simply harming Russians and for average Euro death and carnage in the East are the least of their concerns--the more Russian civilians die, the merrier. For the most part, bar the strata of educated or people capable of critical thinking and ethics in Europe, majority responds only to the external economic stimuli and has no compunction about anything. It is a cold hard fact which has to be always considered when talking about any kind of relations between West and the rest of the world.

The Ukrainian military is trying to destroy evidence of its war crimes in the settlements they have occupied in Russia’s Kursk Region, senior Russian diplomat Rodion Miroshnik has claimed. Last month, Russian investigators alleged that Kiev’s troops had raped, tortured, and murdered Russian civilians in the recently-liberated village of Russkoye Porechnoye. They published gruesome videos of bodies piled in cellars in some of the homes inside the settlement. Several captured Ukrainian servicemen acknowledged committing the crimes under interrogation, saying they had been acting on the orders of their commanders. Similar atrocities could have been committed by enemy forces in other villages in Kursk Region according to Miroshnik, who is tasked by the Russian Foreign Ministry with collecting evidence of alleged Ukrainian war crimes. He made the comments to RIA-Novosti on Saturday. “Ukraine is battering the nearby settlements, apparently trying to destroy the consequences of its other crimes,” he said.

The latest one, they tortured and then killed the veteran of the Great Patriotic War. They are Neo-Nazis. Trump calls them "beautiful young people". Looks like he called Moscow, if it did happen it didn't go well for him. Notable absence of "brotherly people" rhetoric from Russian political top, as of lately. Correct. Russians saved France before, in WW I. But this all is in the past. It must be understood, and I preach it for many years (10 at this blog alone) --NEVER again a foot of Russian soldier will step on European soil, period. Russia is not saving anyone, and Russians are not coming. Europe made its choice, and it is strictly European matter, whether they prosper or are being beaten into submission or starve. Maximum what Russia can do for Europe (and she is doing it) is to open her doors for normal Europeans who want to have future. The rest, well, if they starve maybe Russia will send a few Il-76s transports with food and generators. Europe is finally free from Russia and Russians. Free at last.
