The Hell You Say! )))

No, this cannot be right. Things should go smoothly, right?

Yes, let's roll out "renewables" and see where this whole  "science" gets Europe. On a much more serious note, though and the one which I personally find appalling:

The chairman of major British supermarket Tesco, John Allan, said that many in the country are struggling with the increasing costs of food and fuel due to inflation, as quoted by The Times on Tuesday, “I was in some [Tesco] stores on Friday and I was hearing for the first time for many years of customers saying to checkout staff ‘Stop when you get to £40, I don’t want to spend a penny over that’,” Allan said. “I think that many of them are struggling to both be able to heat their homes and to feed their families,” he continued. “And I think we’re seeing, you know, real food poverty for the first time in a generation.” The Tesco boss expressed hopes that the government would step in to reduce the strain on those struggling to make ends meet. Allan suggested that the government could reverse course on a planned payroll tax hike. He also called for reforming rates relief, saying that many smaller shops faced going out of business as consumers cut back on spending.

Well, I have some sad news for John Allan, and I mean sad, because I empathize with simple Britons, this is just a warm up. Things will get worse, much much worse because the combined West is a runaway train and nothing can stop it from self-destruction and no Western government knows and wants to do anything about unfolding economic calamity which will be (will be? It is already in progress) a death blow to the remnants of the West's middle class and of the Wests relative affluence. The combined West is becoming poor and is doing it really fast. The consumer patterns also change, they become much simpler or very basic and with it the economy of "growth" shrinks and enters the vicious circle of reproduction of poverty. But then again, there is no sacrifice large enough which wouldn't be made by West's "elites" to secure environment and stop "climate change". If it takes tens of millions (maybe hundreds) of hungry and cold Europeans, so be it. And who said that it is not worth it.
