Yeah, Yeah, Sure.

How about founding own League--the League of Geopolitical Losers and continue finishing off your countries.

The leaders of France and Germany have welcomed the talks, but stressed a further need to back Ukraine. “The next step must be a complete ceasefire for Ukraine and as quickly as possible. Of course it is clear that we both agree on this too,” Chancellor Olaf Scholz said at a press conference in Berlin with French President Emmanuel Macron. Olaf reiterated that Germany will back Ukraine and “will not let [Kiev] down,” according to Reuters. Macron called Russia’s agreement to halt strikes on energy facilities “a good start” in the peace process. “We will continue to support the Ukrainian army in its war of resistance against Russian aggression,” he said.

The main question any military-intel professional must ask under these circumstances, laughable as they are, is--"to back" with WHAT? With sparse shitty European weapon systems such as brooms which Bundeswehr used in 2015 due to lack of standard issue automatic rifles, or with French Rafale, whose "combat record" is in fighting non-existent Taliban Air Force and AD? With what? What are the forces and means which EU can provide 404 that will make a difference? EU doesn't have any and being practically completely reliant on the American ISR, both atmospheric and space based, what's left? Well--nothing. Europe will return to its natural state of the collection of warring petty nations under the Damocles Sword of the overwhelming conventional and nuclear Russian superiority--let them play in their sandbox and kill each-other, if they wish to play with their toys. Anything else, Europe will be turned into the parking lot and that will be the ultimate end of peoples who committed mass suicide in the XX century and learned absolutely nothing. SMO continues ...

Technically He Is Not Wrong ...

... once you apply the main Western court historians' tool--a complete removal of context--to his conclusion, he is not incorrect.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has called US billionaire's Elon Musk backing of a rival party in the country’s upcoming election “disgusting.” ... “We are very happy that the United States liberated our country and helped us to become a democracy again,” he added. “And this is why I am so angry about Elon Musk intervening for the far right and Elon Musk also not acting adequately to this killing of so many Jews and other people in Europe done by Germans in the past. This is the historic responsibility we will continue to take in the future as well.” “And this is really disgusting, and it is not good for the democratic development in the European Union,” the head of the Social Democrats concluded.

Technically, Allies liberated more territory of Germany than did the Red Army. Of course, explaining to followers of Patton's "view" on combined arms that geographical metrics, such as captured territory or distance covered per day, while important are secondary to main objective of the war of a complete physical annihilation of the enemy forces, will be exercise in futility, one should still keep in mind that there are still very many fantasists in NATO military top brass, who couldn't recognize what they were looking at when, say, Russian Army was setting into a strategic defense in the end of 2022 and completely bought own (illiterate, I may add) BS of successes of VSU, based solely on Russians seeing no strategic-operational sense of killing own people in empty fields.

Rewind back to 1945. Two weeklong Battle of Berlin alone--look up the butcher's bill--makes pretty much most of the proceedings on the Western Front look rather timid.

But, of course, Germans learned absolutely nothing, and it was expected from the nation who saw its own catastrophic defeat by Soviet Union as a ... correct--catastrophe, with or without ample historical justifications for full annihilation of the Third Reich, Nazi Germany that is--catastrophic defeat is catastrophic defeat after all; trauma stays no matter what. Americans liberated Germany; Russians "destroyed" it--that's the ideological setup for the so-called German "democracy". Here are "lessons" for modern Germany:

And nothing could be done about it. Certainly not "liberation". In related news--it is always the same:

The vast majority of Ukrainian media have been kept in business in recent years only thanks to foreign grants, with most of the funding coming from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), according to Oksana Romanyuk, the head of the Institute of Mass Information NGO. Last week, US President Donald Trump issued an executive order initiating a 90-day suspension of nearly all US foreign aid programs. Described as a front for US regime-change efforts, USAID boasted a budget of over $60 billion in 2023 and has funneled huge sums into Ukraine and other nations under the premise of humanitarian development. “Almost 90% of Ukrainian media survived on grants,” Romanyuk said, adding that at least 80% of outlets in the country had received funds from USAID programs.

Same goes for most "historians" in the West, it is all about who and how much pays you. If it plays into your own hatreds and biases--even better.

She Is Absolutely Correct...

... one of rare occasions when this uneducated bimbo got it right. For all the wrong reasons, of course, but right nevertheless.

BERLIN, Oct 11 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is not willing to speak with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on the topic of brokering peace in Ukraine, Germany's foreign minister said on Friday. "Ukraine is ready for a just peace," Annalena Baerbock said in Berlin, where Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is expected to hold talks with Scholz on Friday.Speaking alongside the foreign minister of Slovakia, Baerbock criticised Putin for rejecting overtures for peace talks.
Absolutely correct. E.g. if I need to discuss the issue of property demarcation and maintenance with my neighbor--I go and talk to her (wonderful old lady), but not to her French poodle. So obvious, I talk to the owner, not to some lap dog who decides nothing. Then she continues.
"He refuses to accept peace and every day sends another signal in favour of war and destruction. These days, he is no longer even prepared to speak to the German chancellor on the phone," she said.
Aw, poor baby, she still didn't get the message that Germany is irrelevant already and will become fully non-entity very soon. The only interest the Germany presents for serious geopolitical players is who will import the last remaining morsels of increasingly unsustainable and non-competitive German industry while Germany runs itself, completely on own volition, into the Morgenthau Plan. It got delayed in 1945 due to humanity of Ike and of Soviet leadership--recall Stalin's sacramental "Hitlers come and go, but the German people and the German state remain". As it became clear now--Germany learned absolutely nothing and substituted Nazism for uber-liberal fascism. The Nazi seed was preserved by the US. Don't be fooled by AfD's narrow victories in Brandenburg and Thuringia--this is a former GDR which was allowed to remain German the way Germany should have been reborn. Not without its problems, of course, but the rest of Germany--it hates Russia. It is just that this time around Russians wouldn't need to take Berlin, again--it takes between 5 to 15 minutes to settle the issue once and for all.

Back to UVZ's 88th BDay.
Here's Leopard tank, delivered 10 days ago to UVZ. To study. Well, those Leopards didn't fare well against Russian weaponry in SMO. German engineering is like a Mercedes--overpriced, over-engineered, overrated and pain in the ass to fix. Some things never change, I guess.

Too Late For Germany...

... when you are born a liver sausage, you stay a liver sausage all your life.

There will be no friendly relations between Germany and Russia again. Plus, the sausage states those things not because of some moment of clarity but because of sheer terror. As Dmitry Medvedev today revealed some shocking technological truths in his statement:

Translation: What can you say: a nuclear conflict is really not needed by anyone. It is a very bad story with a very difficult outcome. That is why the decision to use nuclear weapons (non-strategic or even more so strategic) has not been made yet. Although, frankly speaking, there are formal prerequisites for this, understandable to the entire world community and consistent with our doctrine of nuclear deterrence. The same Kursk, for example. But Russia is showing patience. After all, it is obvious that a nuclear response is an extremely difficult decision with irreversible consequences. However, the pompous Anglo-Saxon runts do not want to admit one thing: any patience comes to an end. And in the end, those moderate Western analysts who warned will be right: “Yes, the Russians will most likely not respond in this way ... although there is still a possibility. In addition, the response may also be using new delivery vehicles with non-nuclear equipment.”

OK, just adds to the already extremely strong case of NATO losing arms race everywhere and confirms long time circulating rumors about new generation of explosives and delivery systems which will additionally turn warfare into some sort of sci-fi, however gruesome, affair. Thus, Larry's headline is correct:

Following Putin’s Warning that Any Attacks in Russia with Western Supplied Missiles will be Treated as an Act of War, NATO Flips.

That is why today's Ira Alksnis' excellent piece echoes what I am repeating ad nauseam for many years:

На самом же деле медиа всегда вторичны по отношению к реальному миру. Пропаганда способна влиять на действительность только до той степени, до которой она соответствует ей. На пике однополярного мира Штаты были почти всемогущими, соответственно и их информационное и идеологическое влияние было колоссальным. Но тот однополярный мир уже фактически прекратил свое существование, а вместе с ним сжимаются и возможности западных медиа.
Translation: In reality, the media are always secondary to the real world. Propaganda can influence reality only to the extent that it corresponds to it. At the peak of the unipolar world, the United States was almost omnipotent, and accordingly, its informational and ideological influence was colossal. But that unipolar world has already effectively ceased to exist, and with it, the capabilities of Western media are shrinking.

Real life is hard, as are real complex skills required for operating modern society successfully--modern West doesn't have those anymore. BS, propaganda, on the other hand, it has a lot. And it is paying the price for it.

Larry On Hysteria... And Not Only.

Larry gives an excellent spread on the hysteria in the West.

Pay attention to highlighted in yellow. It is spot on. But it is not just hysteria, it is some bizarre combination of panic and delusion. Herr Scholz is an imbecile, as is most of his "cabinet" saturated with brainwashed stooges of the Empire. And if it wasn't enough for this "leader" to parade himself and Germany as clowns, he doubled down today.

The Western nations should never walk out of talks with Moscow, regardless of how big the "differences" between the two sides are, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz told Germany’s SZ newspaper in an interview published on Friday. Dropping out of any talks with Moscow would only make the task of ending the ongoing conflict in Ukraine harder, the chancellor believes. "What is important is that, despite major differences in [our] positions, we do not let the thread of talks with Russia be broken," Scholz said, adding that "if we do not talk, Russia would be even less likely to end the war." The chancellor still blames Moscow for its ongoing conflict with Kiev and maintains it is Russia that should be proactive in halting military action. Yet, the chancellor also advocates a negotiated solution rather than a military one. "For this, it will be necessary to talk," he told SZ.

Somebody, explain this moron that there will be no "negotiations" anymore with Europe--only dictating conditions for unconditional surrender. His Germany is a geopolitical pip-squeak, who long ago traded her sovereignty and culture for the ersatz economic stability largely due to Soviet and Russian energy imports, and Russians are keenly aware of the origins of Germany's contemporary organic Russophobia, much of which is rooted in the events of Spring 1945.

And then, of course, crusty fossil of good ol' Henry Kissinger who completely lost his mind and even a remote sense of what modern warfare is. This creep now warns against "another world war", by invoking... inapplicable "lessons" of WW I.

Urgently negotiating an end to hostilities in Ukraine would prevent another world war, former US secretary of state Henry Kissinger argued in an essay published on Friday. The 99-year-old statesman noted that, in 1916, the US government had the chance to end the First World War through diplomacy, but missed it for reasons of domestic politics. Kissinger laid out his reasoning in the December 17 issue of The Spectator, describing the current conflict as a “war in which two nuclear powers contest a conventionally armed country,” a clear reference to Ukraine being a proxy war between the US and Russia. The “peace process” Kissinger proposes would “link Ukraine to NATO, however expressed,” as he believes neutrality for Kiev is no longer an option. He also wants Russia to withdraw to the lines before February 24, while the other territories Ukraine claims – Donetsk, Lugansk and Crimea – “could be the subject of a negotiation after a ceasefire.”

How this artifact of America's past "glories", such as Vietnam, is still listened to is a complete mystery--the dude is lost completely in technological and operational realities, same as doesn't have a handle on what real global power balance is. What's left for him is to "sell" some platitudes to Western media. Somebody, tell this guy that the US lost the arms race. And I mean not a hyperbole, I am talking about hard cold reality of the US now trailing behind Russia in key military technologies and having a disastrous procurement philosophy designed, however unintentionally, to lose real wars.

Somebody explain to him what this is and what, actually, defends those silos, before he spews the next portion of geopolitical delirium. But Henry's desperate attempts to save NATO from what is coming to it are just another manifestation of what is highlighted in yellow in Larry's quote from his Western Hysteria piece.  Yes, losing hurts. Especially against this news which underscore my point of many years--Dollar economic figures are meaningless when measuring against real, physical economies and real militaries and their actual combat capabilities. Absolutely meaningless and, in fact, nothing more than a propaganda shtick to represent Western economies as the largest ones in the world.

The US dollar may soon disappear from Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) trade statistics, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says, as member-states are cutting use of the currency in mutual settlements. Lavrov noted that trade between the countries of the union is rapidly growing, and said it is high time statistics were calculated in the currencies they use. The EEU, which is based on the Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus, was established in 2015. It was later joined by Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. “The EEU is one of the most dynamically developing regional associations. It unites almost 185 million consumers, and its total gross income is more than $2 trillion. Although, it is time to switch over to calculating statistics in other currencies, so far we count in dollars out of habit,” Lavrov said at a conference on Wednesday.

It goes without saying, that the nation which can, for the price of a SINGLE US strategic missile submarine, which doesn't even exist yet, procure eight state-of-the-art boomers, will have little problem prosecuting the large scale combined arms operation such as SMO without disrupting economic activity at home. But they don't teach those things in American universities where Kissinger is listed as "honorable" member. And so it goes--PR maneuvers to cover up the real story. Meanwhile, Russia, who, as we all know, ran out of missiles yet again, yesterday turned off the lights in 404 and continued to churn out those nasty little Karakurts capable of carrying all those missiles, of which Russia, evidently, runs out constantly. One of them, "Burya" (Tempest) has left for State Trials to be transferred to the Navy soon.

I wonder why Russia ordered the additional batch of 3M22 Zircons a few weeks ago (in Russian), wink, wink. This is your Saturday primer.

Ah, Olaf Scholz Got The Message.

Do I feel smug at this moment? Come on, I am just human with all my human flaws, can I allow myself  at least a brief moment of feeling good about myself and what I do?

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said Russian President Vladimir Putin prepared for his war on Ukraine for at least a year before inciting it, and predicted Putin is likely to be able to maintain a drawn-out offensive for a "long time." Scholz made the comments in a Thursday interview with CBS News "Face the Nation" moderator and chief foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan at the NATO summit in Madrid. The war on Ukraine has now dragged on for more than four months, and Russia is using its firepower to make incremental gains. US intelligence estimates that Russia currently holds about 20% of the country, mostly in eastern Ukraine.  "When will Russia no longer have the ability to continue this fight? When will Putin run out of weapons, run out of funds? Or can this continue for years," Brennan asked Scholz.

No one really knows, Scholz replied, but Putin's lengthy planning suggests he's prepared for a sustained war effort. "He has — he is perhaps the leader of a very great country with a lot of people living there, with a lot of means, and he is really doing this brutal war with — and he prepared for it [for] very long," Scholz said. "I think the decision to- to do this war was taken one year before it started or possibly earlier because he prepared for it. And so, he will be able to continue with the war really a long time."

Let me clarify some things here.

1. Olaf Scholz cannot be viewed as a good source of expertise on anything related to warfare, real economy and, especially so, in relation to Russia. He simply has zero qualifications, even when one considers his present post as Germany's Chancellor. What he gets are some reports from a few remaining real professionals in BND and Bundeswehr who told him, I am sure, from the get go, about REAL situation. As the unlucky fate of some Germany's top brass testifies, such as Admiral Shonbach's forced resignation, Scholz was getting more or less reliable forecasting from the very start of SMO. But...

2. Western "elites" are simply incapable to hear "bad news" on anything because most of them are petulant children with the maturity level of high schools teenagers. Enough to take a look at the "levels" of the US State Department or other people from Biden Admin who pretend to run the country. As the result of all that, once the stream of, mostly fake, "news" (a euphemism for propaganda) from Ukraine dried up, reality, including the most important one--on operational and strategic level--began to bite. It hurts, I know.

But recall, that from the inception I warned about a complete delusion about Russia exercised in the West even by people who are supposed to know. Even deeply respected by me as a true, who he is undoubtedly, military professional and, most importantly, thinker is not free from some obvious misconceptions about Russia. Such as Early Warning ABM capabilities. But combined West miscalculated in the most important aspect of Russia--her massive real economic capability which, in turn, drives Russia's huge mobilization, both economic and military, potential. Only now this "message" begins to trickle UP in both Europe and even Washington D.C. I warned about the dangers of this miscalculations since the very inception of this blog and, of course, in here:

It is worth mentioning, that ANY, I repeat it, any intelligence or military institution in the West is not up to the task of understanding Russia's mobilization potential, which the last 4 months demonstrated perfectly. The FUBAR with delusional thinking regarding West's weapons' deliveries to Ukraine and fantastical thinking of civilian leadership of the West combined with crude and unprofessional propaganda from the US military "experts" demonstrate perfectly how incompetent they are. In the end, I warned, that using the framework of Western "economism" in application to Russia is an exercise in futility, because the same framework doesn't work on West's economy at large either.

Beaten to death cliche ascribed to many people ranging from Churchill to Metternich that "Russia is never as strong as she looks; Russia is never as weak as she looks" is just that--a cliche. In reality, it is just that the West was never really good at understanding of military and economic potential translating into the kinetic action. Let's face it--ALL, without exception, people in the decision making circles in the US know little about the world outside and especially so about Russia--it is a systemic illness of the US body politic as a whole and it is extremely dangerous. I will repeat, again, Russia study field in the combined West and, especially in the US is an academic fraud, populated by pseudo-"academic" shysters with soft Ph.Ds and Russia "expert" community is laughable because of its sheer incompetence, based in low intellectual level.

But, if even Olaf Scholz begins to if not see (I doubt he is that smart) to, at least, articulate some realities which really matter, then it shows a very carefully hidden from the brainwashed Western public, some major tectonic shifts at least in Europe. Europeans, I know some, are waking up to the reality that the US, namely its neocon mafia in charge of the US foreign policy, would like to see Europe burn in continental war against Russia, while the US will seat it out and then, as in WW II, will come in to claim its spoils. Neocons are one trick ponies and utterly militarily incompetent people, but even such a door mat and America's slap bitch as Scholz begins to recognize that it may end really bad for him personally (that's the main concern) and for the country which he and his government so passionately want to finish off as a nation. So, something is afoot and Scholz suddenly beginning to speak as a man who finally had his two-hour briefing on introductory level geopolitics--you know, geography, industries, military and shit like that--is a good indicator of this. So, in this case, it is a positive development.

In related news, a neocon rag laments:

Ukraine’s forces have received less training over the recent weeks, which impacts their capacity to operate some advanced weapons systems, magazine Foreign Policy (FP) reported on Friday, citing sources. Since the launch of Russia's military offensive in the neighboring country in late February, Ukraine has been constantly asking its Western partners to provide them with more heavy weapons and to do so as quickly as possible. However, as a senior US defense official told FP, “the drumbeat of faster, faster, faster” does not always work well because “the Ukrainians needed to have the training to be able to effectively use these systems.” Meanwhile, the Ukrainian officials cited by the FP, complained on the one hand about the “too slow” pace of Western aid but, on the other hand, admitted that “beyond training for the HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems) and Western artillery, military training for their troops has dipped in recent weeks, leaving them unable to operate more advanced systems.”

Well, no shit geniuses. Main explanation (among few others) is the fact that VSU losses are catastrophic and most capable and smartest have been simply killed. It is a Volkssturm phase for 404, and it is accelerating as I type this. But you see, if those who matter would have been learning in their respective programs something of value and really tried, they wouldn't have to deal with this severe cognitive dissonance and they would have chosen a much more constructive and realistic approach to Russia and we all wouldn't be witnessing what we witness today, not to mention listening (reading) to old fool Kissinger's definitions of victory or loss for Russia. How this artifact is still around and is taken seriously by anyone is a complete mystery to me, but then again--at this stage the West needs to "arrange" face saving measures and not get involved with nuclear exchange with Russia as many neocons want.

Larry Johnson On Intel Matters In War. Plus Some Other Quick Observations.

Excellent historic introspective from Larry about deception operations in real wars and some historic lessons as applied to SMO today.

Read the whole thing. Larry arrives to the conclusion which is very solid:

Well, looks like Russia was feeding the western allies a big load of bullshit.

And you already learned by now, I guess, that "intel" US and other media were spewing about Shoigu having "artificial heart attack" or some 20-odd Russian generals "arrested" turned out to be..of course, a complete BS. Obviously, Shoigu just yesterday held a Ministry of Defense Council (Kollegia) being in perfect health and a good mood and spoke about both State Defense Order (GOZ) and about dramatic (orders of magnitude) increase of the speed of targeting exchange for Russia's stand off high precision weapons such as Kailbrs and Kinzhals (in Russian).

Meanwhile, the great German strategist, reincarnation of Erich Von Manstein and Schlieffen in one body, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz delivered his military wisdom:

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Tuesday said the Russian armed forces shouldn’t be allowed to win in Ukraine, APA reports citing TASS. He made the statement at a news conference following talks that Western leaders held by video link. The leaders included presidents Joe Biden of the US, Emmanuel Macron of France, Andrzej Duda of Poland, Klaus Iohannis of Romania, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, European Council President Charles Michel, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

As you can see, this statement was made in the company of people (Western leadership, really) who never served a day in any armed forces and wouldn't know shit from shinola, or LGBT from BTG of BCT. Scholz dealt Russians a severe damage because of the deadly bouts of the hysterical laughter they had upon hearing about intentions of Germany not to allow such a victory. Right. In related news, Germany and EU should reject all Russian hydrocarbon contracts and concentrate completely on powering their industries by electricity from the wall sockets, because this is where real electricity (which is clean energy) resides--it is so easy, just plug in and voila'. Just ask Greta Thunberg or any Hollywood celebrity, they nailed this plan to the minute details.

In other related news, a technical and military genius, first Vice-Premier Yuri Borisov explains why Russia is not running out of high precision weapons. English WiKi gives totally abrogated bio on him, but Borisov graduated both military academy with focus on Radio-electronics of Air Defense Systems and then graduated Moscow State University, the department of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics (in Russian). What a loser, he should have gone to study marketing or journalism, or become a lawyer as the last resort, but no-o-o, those stubborn Russians prefer this type of people running their crucial industries. How they can run anything when they don't even have a Tik-Tok accounts and don't follow Sean Penn, what a bunch of losers.

Anyway, here is Borisov verbatim on why Russia will not run out of high precision stand-off weapons.

Recall Bismarck: "A Russian makes a plan when even going to a toilet." So, there you are--you plan (of course based on this proverbial OODA, which the West cannot and doesn't use for a number of reasons), based on situational awareness, execute, check the process of the execution, make adjustments if needed, correct the mistakes, get the desired result. Obviously, for carrying out such plans one needs very many good professionals on all levels, but especially at the top, decision-making, circuit. EU government in general, and Germany's in particular are opposite of that, and that is why they still believe in Ukraine's "victory".

As they say, hope dies last. Somebody show those leaders these well-known facts:

Pitch-forks times in the combined West, especially Europe, are coming--I omit here issues of food altogether--but the process of economic and cultural suicide at this stage is very robust and probably is not reversible in Europe by merely peaceful means. But that is the separate topic in and of itself.

Et Tu... Annalena.

Call Greta, call all Greenpeace people, do something. But not that. Nah. As I already stated not for once--the main virtue of Annalena Bearbock is the fact that she is by no means an ugly woman. While not a beauty, she is certainly easy on the eye especially after seeing rather bland Frau Merkel for so many years. But now even this dedicated Grune had to face a rather grim reality.

Come on, when younger she was a cutie. So, she admits now:

This admission from the life-long environmentalist is especially poignant against the background of Russia saying that, hey, if need be we can stop all deliveries to Europe and even shut down Nord Stream 1. After all, Germany is in the Russia's naughty countries list and is no longer viewed (I warned about it for years now) as some strategic partner. And here is what I wanted to point out--the myth of some hypothetical Russian-German special relations and of some economic synergy between Russia and Germany which scares the United States is just that, a myth from 1990s primarily. German economy is on the slide into oblivion since early 2000s and mythology of German technological prowess belongs primarily to the 20th century. Sure, there are some technological fields where Germany is one of the leaders but only when those are taken primarily within the Western economism.

Recall what I wrote 5 years ago about Germany's best known product around the world--cars. And once you begin to follow the list of Germany's competencies compared to Russia you will begin to encounter some cases of, sometimes severe, cognitive dissonance. As MTU and Siemens learned the hard way when Russia kicked them out. Russia fast import substituted their products and this is one of the things that many who grew up with monetarism and Western school of economics still cannot grasp:

1. The country which builds space-stations and own state-of-the-art combat and commercial aircraft and advanced nuclear power stations will have few problems developing anything Germany produces, from cars to MRI machines and rolling stock, because it is just the matter of time and money. Even three fields I listed above contain within themselves enough engineering and economic wherewithal to develop, well... anything. Add here traditionally strong Russia's competencies in shipbuilding, extraction, software and commodities processing and you can see why Russia is not afraid of being locked out of European market;

2. I reiterate, Russia's economy is much larger than that of Germany, with the addition of fast integrating market of Belarus and some other former Soviet republics, which brings total population of the economic realm to within 200-220 million people, Russia's economy begins to dwarf that of Germany, let alone any other poodle from NATO-EU axis. China, India, Iran, Turkey, Vietnam--that is where the fulcrum of future global economy is located. When was the last time anyone checked the population of Vietnam? Well, it is 95 million people.  And then there is this:

Saudi Arabia Reaffirms Commitment To Russia Despite War In Ukraine.

Geopolitical realignment of the half of the millennium was in progress for some years now and after Scholz' offhand dismissal of the genocide claims in Donbass by Kiev regime, Russians saw and knew everything they needed to arrive to final conclusion. Germany is on its own as it is supposed to be. So is Europe which is engulfed now in hysterical Russophobia. You cannot teach old dog new tricks. Europe learned absolutely nothing and its fate is now with the United States and we all know where the United States goes, for some--sadly, for others--finally.

The fact that even Bearbock had to face economic reality is very indicative but it might be too late. For Germany anyway, because Germany is first in line to the altar of the US economic desperation and Pepe is spot on summarizing what is coming:

This was the American "plan" all along and don't tell me that we didn't warn about it. Now, Germany, who played a very large role in creating a fucking mess in 404, will get a "bonus" of Ukrainian refugees who think themselves entitled and will squeeze EU for everything it got and will "ukrainize" Europe in the same manner as they did it to Canada. Good luck, Europe. Per the US--it is a separate conversation. The US is NOT Europe in many crucial respects and, as I say all the time, the dynamics of the American collapse and of its possible rebirth is somewhat different. Meanwhile Brent Crude was at $131.31 just 11 minutes ago.

And Russia didn't even start to introduce counter-sanctions in earnest, just limitations on some exports (in Russian). Wait for it. Buckle up. Annalena is nervous.

Olaf Scholz Came In Handy...

And since this colorless German politician paraded himself, yet again, as a coward and a poodle, we might as well expand on the issue of which I write since the inception. More than 7 years ago I wrote:

I also wrote 7 years ago:

Since then I never stopped writing about responsibility of those who perpetrated by now a very long list of war crimes not just in 404 but around the world. Now back to our present. Herr Scholz called statement by Vladimir Putin about genocide in Donbass "laughable" couple of days ago. Well, it is Germany's political "elite" which is laughable, but Scholz being a specialist in labor and employment law and in spewing hollow BS in Bundestag, should have updated himself on what it means when Vladimir Putin and Russia as a state begin to use such terms as "genocide" officially. He, certainly, could have consulted with his ignorant clueless bimbo Annalena Baerbock, but this "consultation" would have confused him even more.

So, Russia's Foreign Ministry responds to Schols' comments today:

Translation: MOSCOW, February 19 - RIA Novosti. Moscow will soon send materials on mass graves in Donbass to Berlin after the words of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz about the ridiculousness of allegations that a genocide is taking place in the southeast of Ukraine, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel. “We can’t publish these materials – any platform will block them as “inappropriate content.” We have already sent a similar set to Washington,” she added, warning that “even those who have seen everything cannot watch it.”

The official diplomatic mail is being prepared and Germany will receive these materials shortly. Scholz' reaction, if he is not a complete moron, about "ridiculousness" of those claims, may, actually be the first nervous knee jerk reaction of a lawyer who was spooked by the fact that the President of Russia spoke about "genocide". Make no mistake, if war happens Ukrainian "elite", especially its militant neo-Nazi wing, will be brought to face war crimes tribunal. Where it will be established I don't know, but even Hague is not out of the considerations. But that is not just it, and here is the real issue: a number of Western military, political and media personalities WILL be indicted and that is a completely different matter. Russia was very meticulous in collecting and systematizing all the records of the atrocities and military crimes the West has committed around the world. Scholz also should recall that Germany played a decisive role in overthrowing a legitimate, however corrupt, Yanukovich government in 2014. There are many people in Germany, ranging from politicians to media, to German intel services, whose names are well known and who have a rap sheet which many thugs from  Chicago can only dream about.  Moreover, unlike Chicago thugs, these well nurtured and dressed ladies and gentlemen do this on a massive scale.

They are not entirely stupid, because some of them can see where the West is going. In fact, a rough equivalent of Russia's deadly 1990s and chaos for both EU and the US are already here. Things will only get much-much worse with further disintegration of statehood institutions in the Western world and inevitable shake up in elites, because present ones are leading the West towards a complete political and cultural disintegration. This time is not far away. For the United States it is already here and the process is fairly advanced. Once Russia concludes consolidation of her economic and military position vis-a-vis combined West, which by that time will be in a deeper turmoil, the indictments will follow. These ones will be in relation to Western politicos and media. As I already stated, there are many of them who are guilty in assisting or instigating mass murders all around the world and the worst outcome for them is accelerating degradation of Western political and military institutions, which prior to 2014 were the ONLY guarantee for them to never face war-crimes tribunal.

But then again, recall what I wrote more than 7 years ago. I reiterate:
But it is already clear that by failing to achieve any sensible political objectives in Ukraine and in Russia, and, by this, starting a massive global re-alignment, the United States sustained a defeat. What will be the consequences of this defeat? I hate to speculate, I just know that they are already big and that the moment of facing the reality is coming.
I spent the last 8 years explaining in a minute detail why the West made a mistake of historic proportions by choosing Russia and Russians to fvck with. Russians have a proverb that once every century the combined West goers to Russia to has its ass handed to them by Russians. But West doesn't learn. Very many people in the West responsible for war crimes and crimes against humanity will be brought to justice and many of them know it. That is why the United States blindly continues with self-defeating propaganda of the "Russian Invasion" because not only they are ignorant, which they are, but because they begin to feel a worry. I am on record: the West lost the arms race and is losing economic competition and we know what it means: a defeat with everything that follows. Now Olaf Scholz may nervously repeat his statement about "ridiculous" or "laughable" claims of genocide. Does he want to insist on his position? He better consult UN Office on Genocide and recall why Nuremberg Tribunal was discussed (on Soviet initiative) already in 1943 at Tehran. Russians know a thing or two about it.

In related news, Russia held her strategic triad exercises and some videos from there are a good fodder for us, lovers of a military porn, LOL)) Here is fully Operational Kinzhal being launched by MiG-31K.
And here is you serial-produced 3M22 Zircon doing its thing.

I told you, and the phrase at 0:19 "the probability of "coverage" is ONE (100%)", meaning the probability of reaching enemy's surface group is what I write about since... years and years ago. I will remind you:
Read about this transformation of classic salvo equations here. It also explains why they are getting really nervous. They should.

Scholz Begins His Visit To Russia Today.

Sadly, the sewer of Deutsche Welle will accompany German Chancellor. But it is what it is. Scholz is fresh from Kiev and meeting with Mr. Ze and after being utterly humiliated in Washington, so, meeting with ever respectful Putin may be a much needed change of the decorations for him, not to mention the whole of Germany. But then again, it is a great time to blow some shit in Kiev or elsewhere in 404 and blame it on Russians.

He is no figure of a scale required to do anything about Russian-American relations and he is only couple of notches above in standing of Mr. Ze he just visited. Germany's industries are the main lunch for the US, and that is tantamount to killing Germany as such. I am sure Russian President will explain to him the real game, if he didn't get it by now. But don't count on this explanation, Germany, together with Europe, are objects, not subjects, of geopolitics. It was and is their choice.
