Any Human Language?

Last time I checked, Russia's official language, Russian, is a human language. That means you can  translate it, learn it, use it and comprehend it on this planet of ours. That is what usually assumed by Russians, especially at the top political level, which is a level of Russia's President or Minister of Foreign Affairs. Top shelf interpreters work there and they bear personal responsibility for precision with which words from and to Russian officials are translated. Well, EU "diplomacy" (I have no idea what is this) and "elites" evidently have issues with understanding a rather important human language, such as Russian, since they still do not get the message. When Russia's President tells them directly that: "... love is impossible if it is declared only by one side. It must be mutual", he expects EU to understand that he, being highly cultured and well-behaved statesman, is telling EU to go fuck itself until their attitude changes. OK, that's Putin. Sergei Viktorovich Lavrov, however, is a man who can turn the heat up a notch and that is why his famous meme is... well, famous. 

EU's high commissioner for whatever passes there for diplomacy, Josep Borrell, is in Moscow now, expressing his worries about:

The EU's foreign affairs chief has said relations with Russia are at their lowest level because of Alexei Navalny's poisoning and subsequent imprisonment. Josep Borrell was speaking during a three-day visit to Moscow ahead of talks with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who said he was ready to discuss "any topic".

Well, he got his audience with Lavrov who, basically, repeated what Putin said but in a more direct form. Speaking about EU as non-agreement capable, Lavrov stated:

"Поэтому мы свою жизнь выстраиваем, исходя из того, что Евросоюз является ненадежным партнером, по крайней мере на данном этапе."

Translation: because of that, we build our life out of consideration that EU is not reliable partner, at least at this stage. 

After that Russia declared persons non-Grata and kicked out three diplomats from Poland, Sweden and Germany, who were especially active in fomenting trouble inside Russia around Navalny. I don't know in what language should Russia talk to EU for EU to understand that, as Lavrov stated, Russia doesn't really care about EU's internal decisions and nobody in Moscow, in reality, gives a shit how Borrell "assesses" EU-Russia's relations. Who knows, maybe Lavrov has to go to 11 and openly state to these cretins that they should go and fuck themselves, literally. Evidently they still don't get the message. EU does not have a subjectivity in international relations, it is an object which is there to dance to Washington's tune. Russians are fully aware of that and that is why Russia is turning away from EU. Including being somewhat reluctant, for now, to let go of Nord Stream 2 for purely geopolitical, not economic reasons as Ischenko thinks, a view which I share. I also completely agree with his assessment, that abandoning NS 2 for Russia is merely an inconvenience, for Germany--it is a catastrophe.  In what language, then, do you communicate with a bunch of cretins? Obviously, they do not understand human language. 

To underscore the absence of intelligent life in EU, I will leave this link (in Russian) and you can easily translate TASS reporting using Google translate tool. They don't even understand that most of Russia laughs at them. As you can see from this EU graph, the trend in economic relations was pronounced already by 2019. Russia simply started importing less from EU. 

Even when adjusted for Covid-19, it is clear that imports from EU to Russia will continue to decline in mid to long-term. As some people in Russia suggest: what about trading Navalny for Assange? That could be a really good deal, especially since politically Navalny is dead, especially after his disgraceful behavior in court today, while his "org" was effectively dismantled and there are many sad people in MI-6 and CIA today because of that. As strategic truism states, don't try to make strong plays with a weak hand. But then again, do they even understand a human language, any human language. 

 

ADDENDUM: What is wrong with these people? 

President Joe Biden has dusted off an old story about how he came under fire while visiting Iraq, more than a decade after he admitted the claim was somewhat exaggerated. ‘Where’s the MSM outrage?’ social media users have asked.While addressing US State Department staff on Thursday, Biden hailed the diplomats for showing “great personal courage,” which the new US president has purportedly seen first-hand. "I’ve been with some of you when we’ve been shot at," he told the audience. It’s unclear what Biden meant by the passing remark, and the White House has not elaborated on the statement.

What's the deal here with stolen valor pandemic of which I wrote before. It is becoming nauseating with US politicians telling fairy tales of their "courage under fire". 

 

Civilizational Difference.

A little piece of news this morning. Recall new Russian Constitution, which sets precedence of Russia's laws over international ones. It also defines marriage as that between the man and the woman. You know, the Article 72 Para G1. 

Under combined management of Russian Federation and its subjects are: defense of family, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood; defense of the institute of marriage as a union of a man and a woman; creation of the conditions for an appropriate upbringing of children within family and also for grown up children  carrying out their duty of providing care for their parents.  

This morning Vladimir Putin signed the Law on Constitutional amendments as applied to Family Code of Russian Federation (in Russian). Yep, about preserving a traditional family and telling others to go and screw themselves if they don't like it. Constitution of Russia trumps any international law if international law contradicts said Constitution. Sir Elton John got sad now. As I always say, when you have national security establishment such as Russia has, it is not difficult to tell others what you think about them. Speaking of which--I am considering writing about Russia's soft power which flies under the radar of many Western objective observers and I am not talking about such outlets as RT. In related news, as NYT reports, there is a sanction fatigue in D.C. No shit, pardon my French: 

An article in the New York Times, written by David Sanger, claimed on Wednesday that newly inaugurated President Joe Biden’s top aides think further restrictions on Russia may not be the way forward. “More than six years later, [the] sanctions regimen has failed in its one goal: to force Mr. Putin to reverse course, remove his forces and cease harassing a sovereign former Soviet state,” the article said, noting that economic restrictions had failed to achieve the US’ foreign policy goals.

At this stage, it is absolutely redundant discussing how those sanctions not only failed but exposed America's weakness vis-a-vis Russia. As per this Navalny (known in Russia as Analny and Sissyan, he DOES have tits) fellow, who is at the center of new West's Russo-phobic hysteria, today this jerk will be delivered to the court again to listen to another--more are coming--indictment on slandering the veteran of Great Patriotic War. And then, some time later, he will also be charged with being an intelligence asset of foreign state and that, folks, is a treason issue. So, all in all, he will spend a rather hefty time behind bars, which will allow him to learn a real trade, such as sowing, and, finally, will consummate his handle of Analny within penitentiary environment. 

Of course, many Ambassadors from Western counties, who attended his initial hearings in court are free to volunteer to join him in penitentiary and share experience of this uncompromising fighter with Putin's corruption and castles and backwardness of Russia, which, for some unknown reason, doesn't want Western-style "democracy". Ah, he is a millionaire? Never mind, then. As the old proverb goes--tell me who you friends are and I will tell who you are. West's propensity for extolling all kinds of Russian lowlifes is astonishing. Even when one makes an adjustment for cruel necessities of operations of influence, which, by default, require involvement of less than admirable human material. But the West outdid itself in this respect. Is it a competence issue only, or, maybe, it shows a civilizational difference between modern Russia and the West. I would say--both.    

I Wouldn't Even Post About It.

But people sent me "news" and "opinions" about slight skirmishes in Russia related to "opposition" rallies in defense of Alexey Navalny. My first message to all: it was a pathetic show of a few thousand infants, including many children, who were controlled and, inevitably, dispersed. As US Police Telegram Channel wrote to Russian colleagues: 

They worked, alright. Now most important--tomorrow the process starts of bestowing "awards" to all those "protesters" which will range from stern conversations, the return of school kids to parents (it already started), penalties, imprisonment and, obviously, attaching records to these Navalny's morons as troublemakers, which will ensure that these cretins will pay dearly for that by means of being unemployable in any serious and well-paying organizations. Moreover, any, I underscore, ANY, so called internet "analysis" of some "upcoming Russian revolution", some "weakness of power" in Russia (remember, Putinvseslil)--it is all BS for hype and click-bait. Reality is such that this protest was... 5.5 times smaller than similar actions 4 years ago and, realistically speaking, it, as was expected, had more "journos" than protesters (in Russian).  20-million Moscow saw a whole 4,000 kids, while 2-million Novosibirsk saw...like, I don't know, 40-50? 600,000 Vladivostok saw about 300, with 200 of them being underage. So, do you get the picture? Can we now move on, but make a check in the box across US "diplomacy" now involving children. No surprise here, it is their MO to hide themselves behind children. 

Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs already called on US Embassy to visit Ministry where American "diplomats" will be talked to for taking an active part in helping underage children get "politically active" (in Russian). That brings us to the whole Navalny's "poisoning" affair as, primarily, a desperate attempt by the combined West on PR action (aka operation of influence) against Russia. Assuming, which is a really risky assumption, that not all people in Western intelligence-"diplomatic" establishment are complete morons, it is clear that no sane person would expect actions of this type to undermine "Putin's regime". Provide some TV picture for brainwashed Western public? Sure. But that's about it. Russia's political reality is such that it requires an apocalyptic event to change her and even then, it wouldn't be towards the outcome desired by the West. As per Alexey Navalny--everyone in Russia with IQ higher than the room temperature knows that he is an asset of Western intelligence orgs and his support base is within the statistical error, when counting votes during elections. Today's events demonstrated this perfectly. Criminal cases are being now opened as I type this (in Russian). Move along, move along--nothing to see here. Putin again "escaped" the wrath of minuscule minority of Russia's alternatively gifted teenagers and elementary school kids. Talk about "revolution". 

Lavrov: We May End It.

Sergei Lavrov is a man of no gimmicks--if he says something, that means he means it. By definition it also means Kremlin means it. So, today, he says it as it is at Valdai Conference:

"Те люди, которые отвечают за внешнюю политику на Западе и не понимают необходимости взаимоуважительного разговора, — наверное, мы должны просто на какое-то время перестать с ними общаться. Тем более что Урсула фон дер Ляйен заявляет, что с нынешней российской властью геополитического партнерства не получается. Так тому и быть, если они этого хотят"

Translation:  Those people in the West who are responsible for foreign policy and do not understand the necessity of mutually respectable conversation--well, we must simply stop for a while communicate with them. Especially since Ursula von der Leyen states that geopolitical partnership with current Russia's leadership is impossible. If this is the way they want it, so be it. 

It is my long standing contention that any professional discussion between Lavrov and former gynecologist such as von der Leyen, including Germany's Foreign Minister Maas, who is a lawyer and a party worm of German politics is a waste of time. Western "elites" and "intellectuals" are simply on a different, much lower level, than said Lavrov. You do not negotiate with monkeys, you treat them nicely, you make sure that they are not abused, but you don't negotiate with them, same as you don't negotiate with toddlers. They want to have their Navalny as their toy--let them. I call on Russia to start wrapping economic activity up with EU for a long time. They buy Russia's hydrocarbons and hi-tech, fine. Other than that, any other activity should be dramatically reduced and necessity of the Iron Curtain must not be doubted anymore. 

I reiterate, there is nothing in common culturally between modern Russia and the West and the gap is growing. Europe is being primed for cultural and demographic suicide, not to speak of institutionalizing degeneracy both in art and in real life,  plus the US needs to eat someone to extend its agony for a little bit longer. It is totally logical and if I need to see Renaissance art, Hermitage gives Louvre a run for its money. EU is a cemetery and one doesn't do business with cemetery other than burying. Lavrov's statement today is important in that it shows that Kremlin wrote current EU off. As I state for years, observing events in EU, when I have the time, I totally expect a stream of refugees from Europe to Russia soon, because many still sane Westerners will be faced with a terrifying choice: either adapt to living in Orwellian reality including a fairly fast (in historic term) transition to a third world economies and standard of living, or making decision to regain personal liberty and common sense, and economic stability and opportunity in Russia and those East European nations which will maintain strong economic ties with Russia. 

Boy, come to think about, writing this now--how did the times change. Who would have thought that for many even today Russia becomes a shining city on the hill. Don't believe me? Go to comments to any Voice of Europe videos, among many--scores of Germans, Belgians and even English people leave comments there that they seriously consider moving. Some decry their inability to do so immediately. We don't know real numbers of Westerners who are already in Russia on permanent bases, I know that there is a vibrant American community in Russia, how large? I don't know but American expats moving or living in Russia resource is updated regularly. I would love to stay in the US, but the way thing are going not just politically (unlike EU we have guns and we may yet reclaim some of our freedoms) but economically--401K, Social Security, don't bet on it--it is all going down the drain as I type it, but we'll see. After some time in Russia, I still begin to miss ocean and Cascades of Washington, Idaho or Montana, I also miss Oregon's coast. As for Germans. Many Germans already are in Russia, especially from East Germany. I know scores of Russian Germans are moving back. We are just at the beginning of a process which may take decades and as I pointed out on very many occasions, Putin's talk at Valdai in 2017 WAS about Russia effectively getting ready to become the Arc for whatever will be left of White Christendom in Europe, the rest, can go to hell--they earned it. EU has no subjectivity and as such is not agreement-capable. This is exactly what Lavrov said: " We should stop to orient ourselves toward European partners and care about their assessments."  Exactly, the time has come.

I simply couldn't, no matter how I tried. Russians are pretty good with memes and here is one about Navalny and his "tests". I know it is crude but it is so true. 

The text reads: I am asking you, is it Navalny's morning or evening stool? 

As you all know, Bundeswehr which is dealing with Navalny's testing now (LOL) classified his tests, that means it classified Navalny's urine and stool. Russians are having a field day, as you might expect. Germany looks utterly idiotic, to put it politely.   

I Am Too Lazy...

To comment on the cretins who run Germany, so I re-post here Bernhard's excellent write-up on this Navalny guy, who, as was expected by many is worth more dead, or, rather, undead for now, than alive for the West. Navalny is a classic case of a used condom and all this circus has been predicted the moment the dude got, most likely, hypoglycemia (he was on a diet and drinking moonshine is not good) or, less likely but still possible, got spiked by one of his "allies". 

Yawn! was my first reaction when I read this. Couldn't they come up with a more believable fairy tale?

The German government says tests performed on samples taken from Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny showed the presence of the Soviet-era nerve agent Novichok.

Chancellor Angela Merkel’s spokesman, Steffen Seibert, said in a statement Wednesday that testing by a special German military laboratory had shown proof of “a chemical nerve agent from the Novichok group.”
