Larry Gives an Excellent Summary.

Of the last 72 hours. Which only buttresses my thesis I repeat ad nauseam--superpowers move in their own universe. Biden Admin and neocon-globalist forces behind it acted as a provincial football team which had a chance to play with passing by Premier League outfit which humiliated these local amateurs. Does DJT and his people understand that they should behave as is appropriate to a superpower which the United States certainly remains?

The traditional leaders of Europe — i.e., the United Kingdom, France and Germany — are reeling in the wake of Pete Hegseth’s speech to the NATO defense ministers and JD Vance’s address to the Munich Security Conference. They are reacting like a jilted spouse who was just informed by their significant other that the marriage is kaput… crying and gnashing of teeth is widespread. In a desperate bid to recover from Vance’s verbal beating of the European authoritarians, French President Emmanuel Macron hastily convened a summit in Paris with a select group of European leaders in order to craft a coordinated plan to continue the war in Ukraine without the United States:

It is clear that Europe doesn't have resources for "continuation", which only underscores the depth of cretinism of Baerbock who promised 404 700 billion Euros. They will print those, LOL)) But then again, more competent people such as CEO of Rheinmetall already confirmed--Euro NATO's armories are empty.

And here is the critical point by Larry.

Meanwhile, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the American and Russian delegations had a productive meeting. But, rather than focus on ending the war in Ukraine, the meeting concentrated on constructing a plan to normalize relations between Washington and Moscow and to prepare a meeting for the end of February between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. The Europeans, along with the failed comic who runs Ukraine, persist in deluding themselves that the effort to rekindle normal relations between the US and Russia is based on ending the war in Ukraine with them seated at the negotiating-table. But Donald Trump has made it clear they are not invited. Trump has two objective: Bring an end to Europe’s parasitic relationship with the United States and restart normal relations with Russia. The speeches of Hegseth and Vance signaled that the United States is no longer going to pay for a needless, stupid war in Ukraine. If Europe wants to continue the war, it can pay for it. Ditto for Ukraine. Uncle Sam’s wallet is shuttered. No more cash infusions for the bandits in Kiev.

This is how superpowers should communicate--global agenda and global security configuration. Meanwhile,

Retired General Barry McCaffrey said he thinks that after 76 years, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, known as NATO, is "over." Speaking on an MSNBC panel of foreign policy experts about President Donald Trump blaming Ukraine for Russia invading their border, McCaffrey lamented that he fears war is coming. "Unfortunately, my own view is the damage is done," he said of Trump's failures in foreign policy. "It's now irrevocable. There's not a shred of rational argument among European powers to trust the United States' commitment to NATO and Article Five."

Somebody has to explain to this relic that most of what he knows about the world today lies outside of his military-political expertise as is the rule for most US generals who are mostly successful in earning sinecures in comfy think-tanks and other orgs for earning good salary while doing nothing, and enriching themselves, not providing competent military-political analysis. But then again, how many wars did those dudes win? Right. He still might be correct in one thing-- NATO is over in any operational sense. Read the whole at Larry's blog.
