In the end, Ukraine made no headway on getting China to commit to negotiations, and Zelenskyy and Li failed to speak.

What peace talks? Where is China and where are the remnants of 404? Chihuahua trying to convince the elephant that she matters? 404 and Ze have no say in any peace talks, because there will be NO peace talks--there will be only a dictation of conditions Moscow will impose, NO, not on 404, but on the combined West. Zelensky’s address to the gathering of aspiring global leaders focused on asking for more weapons, money, and ammunition so he could continue to fight Russia. At one point, however, he made a reference to the Russian leader’s family. Putin will not “rest in peace, both in this world and in the next,” said Zelensky. "Neither his children, nor his grandchildren.” The Russian leader is “the sole reason why various wars and conflicts persist” and he must be held accountable so his “aggression” doesn’t embolden other “autocracies,” Zelensky insisted. “Yes, we are not terrorists, and therefore these will be criminal trials,” after which Putin and his entire family would spend “a long, multi-year vacation” behind bars, he added.

Of course, it is very pleasant for Ze and his curators such as Vikki Nuland to wet dream about this, but they still cannot wrap their brains around the fact that the balance of power in the world not just shifted, but shifted dramatically on a historic scale and the West is in a death spiral. Especially, against the background of SMO, which produced a deadly shock for anyone in the West with IQ higher than the room temperature. We are talking about things of a scale of discarding most, not all, humanities studies in the West as degree mills for pseudo-scientific fraud. Today, Vladimir Putin stated what many knew already.

... actually is very "certain". In fact, there is no uncertainty here whatsoever, while weakness was there (still is) from the get go. Same goes for NATO "support" for 404 because here basic math and physics play role and the US simply doesn't want those pictures of burning Abrams tanks and shot down F-16, F-15, F-35 et al being demonstrated for the whole world to see. Simple as that. You see, no uncertainty.

Russia does and that makes all the difference. Per NATO ramping anything up--wet dreams, once one considers the state of economy of combined West.

At first the centennial former US official seemed hesitant to respond, but the fake Zelensky insisted. “I, frankly, have thought it was you,” Kissinger finally said, according to the dubbed over translation of the exchange.

Why Cavoli Moved To Undersea Warfare...

Back from the trip to Yellowstone National Park. Did the mental "vacations" and now back at it. Things develop with incredible speed. While there was an attempt at Kremlin in general, it is clear that Russia got now necessary casus belli for physical elimination of Ze and people around him, albeit it is clear that attack on Kremlin was initiated by neocons. Washington thinks that it has a "sophisticated" foreign policy--in reality it is a kindergarten level ruse-mongering. Nikolai Patrushev, who is an immensely powerful man, went on record today and stated that preservation of Ukraine is not in the US plans (in Russian). But, attack on Kremlin and this are connected directly. 

General Cavoli, obviously, didn't want to go into details of how Russian Armed Forces demolish everything NATO throws at them and are not fighting in full force. He switched to submarine operations of Russian and US navies. Let me tell you, I can only imagine what is happening now under the surface and we may learn about it only after some long time, but, believe me, Cavoli is telling the truth about what amounts to a catastrophic historic miscalculation of Russia by Washington. I said it before, I repeat it again--Russians blew out two greatest military powers in history, Napoleon and Axis. Taken with adjustments for technological and operational development the US Armed Forces are nowhere near Napoleon and Hitler in military sense. Make your own conclusions. 

Thomas Lipscomb makes some profound observations on this matter:

As Mark Wauck summarizes “Ukraine’s professional military knows that the offensive would be suicidal. Ukrainian losses of manpower continue to be extremely heavy—Russia is claiming that Ukraine lost 15,000 men in April. Losses of equipment are reaching catastrophic levels as well, as Russian attacks have heavily targeted assembly areas for munitions and equipment.” If Zelensky’s cowardice allows America’s foreign policy neocon scum to push Ukraine into a doomed offensive, it will be the most wasted effusion of blood yet in this catastrophic “proxy war.” And it will be the most disgraceful ending possible to the Neocon’s 30 years “forever war” that dropped the United States from a half century illusion of dominant hegemony to an also ran with an obsolete defense establishment and a wrecked economy, all in less than 2 years..

Zelensky is a dead man walking as is his internal circle of oligarchs and cronies, but in the end--these are neocons who, due to their cowardice and military and economic incompetence, brought this to the point that they will have to run, if not from the rubble of American implosion and pitchforks of destitute and very angry masses, then from people from certain Russian orgs who would love to talk to war criminals and criminals against humanity who in the last 30 years killed millions of innocent people and wrecked whole regions of the world. They are desperate and it shows. Hence desperate attempts on Putin and trying to sabotage Victory Day parade at the Red Square.  Will Zelensky return to 404? I wonder what Petraeus and Keane studied in US Army war College and in Leavenworth, KS? Certainly not the real war. Cavoli, however, spoke openly what I was talking about since the start of SMO. At least there are still some real professionals left in the US Army among the top brass. NATO? It counts its last days as a military organization.

You cannot cure terminal illness, the only thing possible is a palliative therapy, meaning shooting copious amounts of hard drugs into the patient to relieve pain and suffering before death. I am, in general, not very optimistic about Europe and Larry's posting yesterday the "travel report" from Phil Giraldi reinforced my position. The crisis is systemic and affects every single facet of modern combined West no matter what actions completely cornered Western "elites" take to save themselves. 

My friend Mike Krupa sent me the link to today's excellent piece by Douglas Macgregor in TAC.  He notes:

No one in the White House, the Senate, or the House consciously set out to turn the proxy Ukrainian war with Moscow into a contest of “competitive societal collapse” between Russia and NATO. But here we are. No one imagined that the Biden administration and the bipartisan war party would drive Americans and Europeans into a political, military, and economic valley of death, from which there is no easy escape. Yet that is precisely what is happening.

What Macgregor describes here is incompetence. It is not a bug but a feature of which I write non-stop for a decade, at least. They ARE that ignorant, they ARE that stupid, and, yes, they ARE that incompetent and a massive body of empirical evidence supports these assertions. But that is what defines a systemic crisis. Read the whole piece, it is worth it, not to mention the fact that I applaud Macgregor's description of Kissinger's "strategy" in Vietnam--a recurring story for Washington. And Macgregor concludes it with what I warned for 8 years now, when stated in late 2014-early 2015 that the US has sustained a massive defeat. 

As long as Washington delivers cash, military assistance, and equipment to Ukraine, Kiev will fight its unwinnable war, and Washington’s ruling political class will profit from the transfer of cash to the Pentagon and the U.S. Defense Industrial Base. But Washington, its NATO allies, and Ukrainians will gain nothing of strategic value, while Russia is likely to grow stronger. That is a development Washington will regret.

Well, Russia is growing stronger every day and no volume of tactical minutiae can hide anymore the fact of West's collapse and it being written off. Even this little detail tells us something:

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has denied “ordering” the bombing of the Crimean Bridge, earlier this month. The president made the remarks during an interview with the Canadian broadcaster CTV, aired on Wednesday. Asked to comment on the “spectacular attack” on the bridge, as the broadcaster put it, Zelensky said Kiev was not involved. “We definitely did not order that, as far as I know,” he told the reporters.

He is right, in a larger sense, because it was ordered by British and this is the extent of modern British military "power"--sabotage, false flags, propaganda and things of this nature. Saying that, I do not offer my personal opinion--it is a recurring theme in Russian media based on high-positioned sources in Russian government that Crimean Bridge sabotage had all hallmarks of British involvement. In the same time--what's new? Zelensky is panicking. So, when London cries that:

A Russian Su-27 fighter jet fired a missile near a British Boeing RC-135 reconnaissance plane over international waters in the Black Sea, Defense Minister Ben Wallace told the UK's Parliament on Thursday. According to Wallace, the incident was accidental and Moscow blamed it on a technical malfunction. He added that London had accepted this explanation. The run-in between the spy plane and the fighter jet occurred on September 29. Following the incident, London temporarily suspended patrols and expressed concerns to Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, Wallace noted. “A reply by the Russian Minister of Defense on the 10th of October, stated that they have conducted an investigation into the circumstances of the incident and stated it was a technical malfunction of the Su-27 fighter,” he revealed, adding that Moscow “acknowledged that the incident took place in international airspace.”

They should remember that the next time some S-400 AD complex in Crimea may have also some technical malfunction and some missiles may accidentally shoot down RAF planes "patrolling" over the Black Sea, which is about 1,700 miles from Albion.

For the first time since Russia invaded, Ukraine is facing large-scale nationwide disruptions to electricity and rolling blackouts from extensive damage to the country’s power infrastructure from Russian missile attacks this month. Ukrainian officials have sought to restrict supply to allow energy companies to repair power facilities that have been pounded by Russian air strikes. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has urged people to use as little electricity as possible from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and prepare for temporary blackouts if this was not done. Russian attacks have knocked out 30% of the country's power plants, causing massive blackouts. The new development comes just weeks after Russia and Belarus announced the formation of a new joint force, with the Ukrainian army seeing rising military threats from the north. 

Nah, nothing to see here, Russia is losing and VSU is about to take Moscow. Any British Prime-minister will tell you that. Ah, wait...

When the Soviet Union destroyed Nazism? As it turned out it was because of... weakness. Recall Russians defeating Napoleon and then Alexander I triumphantly entering Paris in 1814? What a loser! Yes, yes. Alexander Nevsky was so weak in 1242 that accidentally defeated Teutonic Knights. Russia adding 120,000 square kilometers of territory and millions of people to herself lately--this is a definite sign of a terminal weakness.

US President Joe Biden has spoken by phone with his Ukrainian counterpart, Vladimir Zelensky, after Russia pounded military and infrastructure targets throughout Ukraine on Monday. Biden condemned the Russian strikes and promised to send more air defense systems to Kiev. According to a readout of the call published by Zelensky’s office, the Ukrainian president described the Russian strikes as “a sign of weakness of the Russian army,” despite the fact that the barrage crippled the country’s power grid and, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, destroyed “military command facilities” and communications networks. Biden “pledged to continue providing Ukraine with the support needed to defend itself, including advanced air defense systems,” read a summary of the call from the White House.

Per US Air Defense systems--as I am on record, sure, let the 404 have it, it will be amusing to see the reputation of yet another NATO military toy going up in flames. Meanwhile US legislators continue to shoot themselves in the foot. 

WASHINGTON (AP) — Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Robert Menendez called Monday for freezing all U.S. cooperation with Saudi Arabia, delivering one of the strongest expressions yet of U.S. anger over Saudi oil-production cuts that serve to boost Russia in its war in Ukraine. In a statement, Menendez specifically called for cutting off all arms sales and security cooperation — one of the underpinnings of the more than 70-year U.S. strategic partnership with the oil kingdom — beyond the minimum necessary to defend Americans and American interests. As committee chairman, Menendez, a New Jersey Democrat, vowed he "will not green-light any cooperation with Riyadh until the Kingdom reassesses its position with respect to the war in Ukraine. Enough is enough.”
