Everything is being documented and transferred to Investigative Committee, which itself has large resources for data collection and processing. Many American, British, German and others' names will be listed in the documents submitted to Tribunal. Foreign Ministry merely creates the overall framework within which the Tribunal will operate and creates "paper trail". I am on record--neocons and US establishment chose very wrong people to fuck with, as per US military--I made a video on some of its "best" representatives today. I Don't Think It Was A Mistake.

Truth is, I am on record--once SMO is concluded and the numbers of losses of VSU will be revealed with any degree of certainty, the world will be stunned and there WILL BE questions to London and Washington. The Ukrainian TV Channel 1+1 accidentally did put out real numbers of KIAs and MIAs. Yes, recall that MIA category is a favorite one for VSU and Kiev regime--it is an artificial statistics for avoiding paying compensations and keeping whatever is left of population of 404 in the state of hypnosis. So, here it is:

1, 126,652 KIAs and MIAs for VSU. Somebody will have to answer for this atrocity and the main puppet masters sit in Washington and London and their names will be named at the Ukraine War Crimes Tribunal. Many will also be charged with crimes in absentia. In related news--this number is larger than US losses in all XIX, XX and XXI centuries wars combined. They are beyond comprehension of any US military, let alone, political figure. 

The office of a 404 "president" reacted immediately and forced 1+1 to retract the story, but it is too late. It is also a number which many of us here played with based on available data. 404 is done as a state and as a nation. Washington now shifts blame to UK for sabotage of negotiations in Istanbul. Of course, when one has a cretin such as BoJo it is not difficult to do, but Washington doesn't understand that real politics is done in real world, not in PR universe. Russia knows the names of puppet maters.  SMO continues and Avdeevka is being mopped up, including Russian forces capturing Yasinovataya-2 station--an abscess which existed since 2014 and was used by NATO forces to shell civilian areas of Donetsk. It was also the most fortified area of all 404 front. The meat-grinder in Avdeevka for VSU continues and probably another couple VSU brigades will perish in coming days. Adds to the score and record of US and British operational "brilliance". But then again, when one studies Zapp Brannigan's operational art and strategy what do you expect?

Translation: It was important for Westerners to promote the topic of the upcoming Ukrainian counteroffensive in the global information space. The obviously overestimated importance attached to it is a kind of element of a psychic attack before a fight. Naryshkin, being a chief spy of Russia is very measured in his statement, which is a feature of Russia's national security apparatus top officials. But West's assessments Naryshkin is talking about are absolutely irrelevant for the astonishing scale of slaughter of NATO proxies to which no person in Washington in decision making circles was ready for from the start of SMO. The issue is systemic and I cannot emphasize enough a dismay with which I react now to a recognition of a stunning, much worse than I assumed even two years ago, scale of incompetence of Western militaries who discredited themselves not just through amateur-level planning abilities, or lack thereof, but getting involved directly into what amounts to a war crime by throwing Ukie cannon fodder to be slaughtered on the scale NO US or NATO general ever saw or can comprehend. The whole world sees it now.  

Beth Van Schaak Lies...

... which is absolutely normal for her kind who are into whitewashing crimes against humanity and war crimes for State Department. And lying for the top US bureaucrats, especially from neocon infested State Department, is absolutely normal. Not to mention the fact, that many of them themselves are war criminals. In general, Ben Schaak is typical for American political shyster lawyer.  

While acknowledging concern over videos that showed Ukrainian forces executing captured Russian soldiers, the US war crimes envoy has argued that allegations against Kiev’s forces pale in comparison to Moscow’s alleged atrocities. “We are obviously tracking that quite closely,” Beth Van Schaack, US ambassador-at-large for global criminal justice, told reporters in a telephone briefing on Monday. “It’s really important to emphasize that the laws of war apply to all parties equally, both the aggressor state and the defender state, and this is in equal measure.” However, Van Schaack added, “when it comes to the war in Ukraine, that’s really where the equivalency ends. When we’re looking at the sheer scale of criminality exhibited by Russian forces, it’s enormous compared to the allegations that we have seen against Ukrainian forces.” The envoy also claimed that Kiev has dealt with allegations of wrongdoing more responsibly. “Russia inevitably responds with propaganda, denial, mis- and disinformation, whereas the Ukrainian authorities have generally acknowledged abuses and have denounced them and have pledged to investigate them,” she said.

Of course, being a shyster from organization which produced time after time one genocidal maniac after another--Madeline Albright and 50 US "diplomats" come to mind immediately--Van Schaak wouldn't last a minute under serious scrutiny against real war crimes lawyers from Russia, because she has nothing but PR BS and never opened in her life any Combat Manual of Russian Armed Forces (she wouldn't know the difference). But then again, for anyone with the pedigree in ICC on Yugoslavia, this must automatically disqualify them as, in best case scenario, liars or, in worst for them, war criminals themselves. But I digress.  

While Russian Combat Manuals (E.G. CM 2005) stress strict following of International Humanitarian Law (Article 24):

This creature, obviously, misses something larger than her pseudo-humanitarian activity and this is the fact that not only the names of those who executed Russian POWs (as well as of many Nazis US State Department supports and who committed well documented atrocities on industrial scale) are well known to Russians. But here are some news for this creature: Russian POWs were executed (there are many incidents of torture, maiming etc.) by the members of the 80th Brigade of VSU, which, surprise-surprise, was "taught" by the members of the USMC, who "taught this brigade to hate everything Russian" and "brainwashed them" (in Russian). It is now reported by all major Russian media and for me, personally, will be very easy to explain to this lawyer where this visceral Russophobia, from what sources, originates among US establishment and part of the military.  

The fact that US Marines haven't fought any serious enemy since Vietnam, not to mention the fact of "stellar" performance against Taliban, among other opponents, explains extremely well a severe case of Kubler-Ross transitions, when the whole USMC is forced to recognize that it is simply not a competitor against serious combined arms force. Don't listen to me, listen to Colonel Douglas MacGregor who exactly 10 years ago called US Marines exactly what they are in relation to even semi-serious, forget real, war with real opponents. Get a load of that:

Marine Commandant James Amos’ recent remarks on the future of the corps can be summed up as: nothing new. In shorthand, “Rah, rah, the Marine Corps is awesome, and all we have to do is make sure they have the equipment & training & facilities they need so they can always be awesome Marines, rah, rah!” Wrong. The Marines as currently organized and equipped are about as relevant as the Army’s horse cavalry in the 1930s and the Marines are not alone. They have company in the Army’s XVIII Airborne Corps.

Yeah, rah, rah and BSing is what the United States institutions have been involved since the collapse of the Soviet Union with. And it is one thing when some obscure Russian dude says it--totally another when former senior advisor of the Chief of Pentagon and decorated combat senior America officers says it. And says he does.

The capability to come ashore where the enemy is not present, then, move quickly with sustainable combat power great distances over land to operational objectives in the interior, is essential. The Marines cannot do it in any strategic setting where the opponent is capable (neither can the XVIII Airborne Corps!). The Marines cannot confront or defeat armored forces or heavy weapons in the hands of capable opponents. Nor can the Marines hold any contested battle space for more than a very short amount of time, after which the Marine raid or short stay ashore is completed. ... Clinging to the misguided, wasteful and self-defeating policies of occupation in Iraq and Afghanistan as justification for no change in the Army and Marine forces is not an argument. The policies, strategy and tactics were flawed, if not disastrous. Reenacting these operations is about as stupid as reenacting Tarawa, Market Garden or the airborne assault on Crete. In 110 days of fighting the German army in France during 1918, the U.S. Army Expeditionary Force sustained 318,000 casualties, including 110,000 killed in action. That’s the kind of lethality waiting for U.S. forces in a future war with real armies, air forces, air defenses and naval power.

Moreover, this was published in the US premier magazine, Time. As SMO demonstrated perfectly well, to the astonishment of Pentagon's top brass, what Russian force, initially three times smaller than VSU and its NATO "volunteer" corps, did is simply beyond fighting capabilities of not just USMC, but the US ground forces as such. The issue of facing a serious war, unlike the US experienced only in Korea, exacerbated by the not only Pentagon's (NATO) operational rigidness but a dramatic technological lag in some of the key aspects of the large combined arms operations, especially when stand off weaponry and air defense, among few other important things, are concerned, created a severe case of professional jealousy and one of those Kubler-Ross stages--a stage of anger. While US "diplomacy" today, as it exists, is primarily a butt of jokes around the world due to America's "diplomats" ignorance, incompetence and lack of general culture, militarily the United States continues to fall behind Russia in the arms race and already is ultimately incapable to take on either Russia or China, let alone both.

I can only imagine what toxic Russophobic atmosphere exists in some parts of the US Armed Forces, who, by the nature of their service, have to be aware and content with what is being done to the force as a whole turning it into the woke circus, and, of course, being aware of many myths of American military superiority being destroyed time after time by those damn sub-human Rooskies. It is not a healthy atmosphere and it is bound to manifest itself both deliberately and subconsciously in growing hatred for everything Russian, including Russian civilians. It is, in some bizarre sense, normal reaction, which does not make it right nonetheless. Russians just keep the score. And a huge arsenal of state-of-the-art stand-off weapons, together with increasing production of Air Defense systems and other military toys which, as I predicted years ago, completely devalued both technological and operational dimensions of the "American Way of War", which failed time after time even against weak opponents and which is not designed for real modern war against first rate enemy. Not to speak of the titanic existential struggle against the nation which is much older than the US and saw and defeated enemies, when adjusted for the factoring out nuclear deterrents, who would make the "finest fighting force in history" a rather timid challenge. What's left, then? Yes, hatred. 

Ask tortured to death, castrated, beheaded, raped, sold into slavery even crucified Russian soldiers and civilians in Chechnya in 1990s, ask innocent children of Beslan slaughtered under tacit approval of Western media and establishment. Today it is Nazi regime in Kiev. It is metaphysical and spiritual problem of the declining West and its relation to historic Russia, and of which some second rate lawyer from State Department simply has no grasp, nor morality and ethics to admit to herself that she and her "colleagues", culpable in millions of deaths of innocent people around the world, are supporting Nazism and that it is they who will be judged as criminals not just by the cruel court of history but, under some fairly likely circumstances, by the real court for war crimes and crimes against humanity. But then again, can you imagine trying to explain to a lawyer what the global balance of power is?

Amnesty International has accused Ukraine of war crimes during its ongoing military conflict with invading Russian forces. The humanitarian organization said in a release on Wednesday that the Ukrainian military's tactics "violate international humanitarian law and endanger civilians" by operating weapons out of bases established in residential areas while civilians are present.

Oh, please.  You can read the whole report here. The hypocrisy of this is so obvious that one really has to question main reasons behind this "discovery" by enablers of West's war crimes. The main reasons, however, are very easy to spot. The stream of documents confirming almost compete demolition of regular VSU continues to gain strength, and it is also coming from... Ukraine itself.

We may only extrapolate the losses of VSU but even brief acquaintance with the reports tells us that we are looking at around 300,000 KIAs and MIAs. It is a catastrophe for Ukraine, while the bulk of fighting on Russian side is done by LDNR militias. Another proof of that is absolutely ridiculous behavior of Mr. Ze.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said on Thursday he would like to speak “directly” with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, as he urged Beijing to use its economic and political leverage to stop the conflict in his country. In an exclusive interview with the South China Morning Post, Zelensky noted that he had not spoken to the Chinese leader since the start of Russia’s military offensive in Ukraine. “I would like to talk directly. I had one conversation with [President] Xi Jinping that was a year ago,” he said. “Since the beginning of the large-scale aggression on February 24, we have asked officially for a conversation, but we (haven’t had) any conversation with China even though I believe that would be helpful.” According to Zelensky, Xi is one of a handful of world leaders who have been to Ukraine “at least once,” adding that the Chinese president warmly recalled his ties with Kiev during a call between the two leaders last year. Zelensky stressed that he wants to see China redefine its stance on Russia, but understands why Beijing is seeking a “balanced” approach.

In related news, I want to directly talk to God and I demand it immediately, while reading famous fairy tale of Fisherman and Gold Fish. Speaking of which, I mean China. 

Upon my video on situation with Taiwan, as was expected, I was bombarded by accusations of "demeaning" China, of "underestimating" her and other sins of this nature. I want to respond to all "critics"--I don't DO pleasantries, I am into business of sober assessment of geopolitical (a euphemism for military-industrial capability) balance. All of those "accusers" miss completely my every praise of China's achievements, but immediately go bananas when I point out things which do define this very geopolitical balance. 

1. Many continue to forget that China still remains a very "good boy" for the US when it comes to sanctions against Russia. Yes, China buys Russia's energy, but so does USA, who exempted it, together with other strategic resources, from sanctions. Should I ignore this fact for the sake of Russian-Chinese friendship? Ask yourself a question why Russia grows her indigenous microelectronics industry with lighting speed? Well, because China is in no hurry to provide Russia with it. I can sit here and write this list for 24 hours. 

2. Many still do not understand that militarily and technologically China lags behind both US and Russia. It is a hard cold fact which many prefer to ignore. Yet, the list of crucial military and dual-use technologies where China lags, not to speak of operational and strategic experience, is vast. It takes a lot of effort to explain to people what it takes to build and operate effectively such huge military organizations as advanced submarine force, carrier task groups or air force, among many others. Sorry to break it for you, China lags here, and this is not just my opinion, it is opinion of Russian military professionals who were directly involved militarily with Chinese. China still has a long way to go here. 

And that is why it explains this today, as was predicted:

"In turn, Beijing is ready to strengthen strategic cooperation with the Russian Federation so that together we can more effectively defend the international system in which the UN plays a key role, as well as the order based on the norms of generally accepted international law," Wang Yi added.

 

It took obvious humiliation, largely self-inflicted by Chinese, of this bimbo Pelosi visit to Taiwan for China to start recognizing that maybe there should be more than just buying of energy and some mil.tech from Russia and verbal support in a strategic partnership. Time for CPC to start cleaning its decision-making circles from people from Chinese Komsomol, a precise contingent, which keeps its vast fortunes, families and real estate in the United States and Canada and continues to exercise this illusion that China can substitute the United States as global hegemon and become... the US 2.0. Hopefully this humiliation gives Comrade Xi a necessary tool for removing these people who believed that fantasy. The reaction from China in regards to Russia is really instant, but still, let's wait and see how it will translate into practical actions. Russia fully supports China and will continue her support but it is about time China also undertook very substantive steps, not just declarations, towards real alliance and adjustment of China's economic aspirations to the realities of the Eurasian integration, whose strategic security rests with Russia. Ah yes, Chinese recognition of Crimea as part of Russia would have been nice, but...you know.

Alex Gives A Good Aye-Yai-Yai On G-7, Larry About Denazification And Something Else.

Putin’s reiteration of the Denazification and Demilitarization principles established from the 1945 Potsdam Conference is not just some quaint tip of the hat to history. He was laying down a marker to the United States and United Kingdom that the agreement reached at Potsdam in 1945 is still relevant and valid. The Russians have good reason to be angry that the West failed to carry through on denazifying Germany. Very few of the Nazi men and women involved in carrying out the war against the Soviet Union and implementing the extermination of the Jews of Poland, Ukraine and Russia were tried and convicted of war crimes. In fact, prominent Nazis remained in power in the “new” Germany.

Meanwhile, Alex Cristoforou did an excellent job covering G-7 summit and his comments, including his really appropriate "Aye-Yai-Yai" are spot on. 

While we all observe a complete intellectual and moral decomposing of the Western ruling class, here is Colonel MacGregor on... orgies and degeneracy of the Washington's "elite".

But here is a very interesting twist in MacGregor's statement about those people in D.C. thinking that they are "immune to persecution". Obviously, he speaks about internal US justice system, however compromised. But if you recall, I reminded everyone four months ago about a different kind of persecution. I spoke about it since 2014. I will remind you about a very recent one:

Russia was very meticulous in collecting and systematizing all the records of the atrocities and military crimes the West has committed around the world. Scholz also should recall that Germany played a decisive role in overthrowing a legitimate, however corrupt, Yanukovich government in 2014. There are many people in Germany, ranging from politicians to media, to German intel services, whose names are well known and who have a rap sheet which many thugs from  Chicago can only dream about.  Moreover, unlike Chicago thugs, these well nurtured and dressed ladies and gentlemen do this on a massive scale. 

They are not entirely stupid, because some of them can see where the West is going. In fact, a rough equivalent of Russia's deadly 1990s and chaos for both EU and the US are already here. Things will only get much-much worse with further disintegration of statehood institutions in the Western world and inevitable shake up in elites, because present ones are leading the West towards a complete political and cultural disintegration. This time is not far away. For the United States it is already here and the process is fairly advanced. Once Russia concludes consolidation of her economic and military position vis-a-vis combined West, which by that time will be in a deeper turmoil, the indictments will follow. These ones will be in relation to Western politicos and media. As I already stated, there are many of them who are guilty in assisting or instigating mass murders all around the world and the worst outcome for them is accelerating degradation of Western political and military institutions, which prior to 2014 were the ONLY guarantee for them to never face war-crimes tribunal. 

There are very many war criminals and criminals against humanity  in D.C. and EU capitals. Some of them may and some will face war crimes tribunal, because there is no statue of limitations for war crimes and crimes against humanity. And this deeper turmoil is not just coming, it is here and none of the so called G-7 is immune to it and that, inevitably, will bring not only economic but political turmoil and then... well, all those security details of rich and powerful are amateur kids compared to people who will be looking for their masters. But that is the separate topic altogether.

Some Soldiers Of (Mis)Fortune...

... have no idea what they are getting themselves into. Evidently one such "soldier" is British dude who "fought" in all kinds of "hot spots" by means of shooting people who couldn't fight back and the last three years was "serving" with VSU marines until he finally met a real war. The name of the dude is Heiden Islyn (I believe I spell him correctly), aka on Twitter as Cossackgundi. His family in UK posted this:

We've gotten word from Johnny. "It's been 48 days, we tried our best to defend Mariupol but we have no choice but to surrender to Russian forces. We have no food and no ammunition. It's been a pleasure everyone, I hope this war ends soon."

The funniest part, of course, is the other message:

We're putting this out after direct consultation with his family. Until we're told otherwise we'll continue working on sharing the facts of the war. Hope for a prisoner exchange.

The  idiocy of this message is in the fact that these people still believe that this is some kind of joke. Couple of LDNR people (or sympathizers) have already explained in their responses that this "soldier" is a foreigner and a mercenary and he will not be exchanged. He will be charged and then will spend a great deal of time, many years, in Russian or LDNR high security hotels where his attitude will be further adjusted and he will learn how real wars conclude. 

There is a confirmed information circulating in Russian net that the occupation which is most in demand in LDNR right now is prison guard. Prisons are overflowing with those who, unlike regular VSU grunts, will have to face war crimes tribunal. The number of ukie POWs grows really fast, not to mention the fact that the dynamics of surrender also is highly positive. More and more VSU and even Nazi battalions' personnel surrender. The disposition of 404 forces in fully blocked Azov Steel is now known with most of command corps hiding primarily in underground bunkers while forcing (coercing that is) grunts to go up and fight. All attempts by different units of Azov and VSU to break out are checked and result in more KIAs for Ukrainian side and more POWs. 

The main issue now is how to approach the final mop up of this Azov Steel facility. One can try to pump a gas similar to what was used to disable terrorists during Nord Ost operation, or, in the end Russia has some really monstrous bunker busting munitions which can settle the issue. The problem, of course, that there are still civilian hostages there and one also have to consider future plans for Azov Steel, that is what it would take to restore it and put back into operation. But, as Vladimir Putin stated today, and I have no reasons to doubt his statement, the operation proceeds according to plan and...

Russia’s current account surplus, the broadest measure of trade, more than doubled in the first quarter of 2022 from the same period last year amid soaring oil and gas prices, according to data from the Russian central bank cited by Bloomberg. Russia—which continued its oil and gas sales in Q1 at the highest prices in years—saw its current account surplus jump by more than 2.5 times from last year’s first quarter to $58.2 billion from $22.5 billion.Russian revenues from oil and gas sales soared in the first quarter, while imports plunged amid companies withdrawing from Russia over Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. This resulted in a major surplus in the Russian trade of goods and services.

For some this is an extremely painful news. As I said, the West really finances Russian operations in Ukraine and elsewhere. But this is a topic for separate discussion. Especially on the issue of Western "economists" having no clue about how real economy works.  

The Preparations...

May I Forward A Theory?

Pentagon complains and it is good that they do, because I am all for both militaries to keeping in touch. As I said, I feel much safer when Gerasimov and Milley talk to each-other, than when even Lavrov talks to Blinken. 

US military leaders have had no communication with their counterparts in Moscow since the beginning of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin reiterated at a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on Thursday. General Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff “and I myself have frequently reached out to our counterparts in Russia to try to ensure that we maintain a dialogue. That’s in the last – since mid-February,” Austin told the senators. "That’s not been very successful because the Russians have not responded," he added. While the Pentagon chief said he was “disappointed” by this, he added, “It doesn’t mean we’ll stop reaching out to engage them. I think we have to have the ability to talk to the leadership.”

Let me forward a theory on why Russians do not respond. Here it is: unlike the portrayal in Hollywood of Russians being either soulless automatons such as Ivan Drago or drunk lowlifes and criminals, or simpletons, Russians in general, and Russian military in particular, while as anywhere else have their share of characters from Solzhenitsyn's writings, they live by much more than primitive creed which Westerners so love to imagine. Red Army soldiers "raping" 2.5 million German women in 1945 is a figment of imagination (well paid by MI-6) of such "historians" as Antony Beavor, while in reality humanism (sometimes completely detrimental to Russians themselves) towards enemy civilians was and is burned into Russian psyche and one can recall famous Stalin's quote: "Hitlers come and go, Germany remains." 

The core of Western propaganda in the last 8 years was this idea, projection really (Dresden, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki) of shelling indiscriminately civilian areas of Donbass and now, with the start of combat operations of February 24, shelling and killing own Ukrainian civilians all over the place--all is well documented. Moreover, using them as a human shield has become a trade mark of VSU, which, for the last 8 years, was, and you already guessed it, "trained", armed and advised by primarily US and UK military personnel. US also provides assistance in terms of communications and some C2 and ISR to VSU. Moreover, discovery of bioweapons labs in Ukraine which operated under the auspices of Pentagon just adds weight to Russian decision not to talk to people who lost all remnants of honor and are, in fact, main facilitators, together with State Department and intel organizations of the wholesale crimes against humanity and war crimes in Donbass and Ukraine as a whole. Russians didn't negotiate anything with Nazis in 1945, they merely presented them with articles of unconditional surrender. 

Russians do not negotiate or communicate with those who view it normal to use civilians as human shield and develop bioweapons, including confirmed mass cases of testing them on humans. Kirby quips:

At a March 30 press briefing, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby admitted there had been “no conversations to speak to” with the Russian military, but professed a “willingness to have those discussions,” after a reporter asked whether Washington had been “in touch” with Russia’s military leadership.  “But it's a two-way street. The Russians have to be willing to pick up the phone and thus far they have not been willing to do that,” Kirby added. 

That's the key, Russians are not willing anymore. If they, in Pentagon, don't understand the reasons and morality behind Russian military not willing to communicate, they better start learning Russian military history of the 20th century and I mean the real one, not BS by Beavor, Ziemke, Pipes and this kind of "historians". If not, there is nothing to talk about, Russians do not use civilians as human shield. Everything else will be answered at War Crimes tribunal tentatively set to start in June, in Crimea. The United States made its choice, so did Pentagon, the rest is history. I warned about it long time ago, US military stained itself completely by supporting Neo-Nazis.

At present, there is nobody who can set the United States right. That is why Russians are not talking anymore. This is just a theory.

Few Items. Tuesday.

1. General Shamanov, now the Chair of the State Duma's Defense Committee reports (in Russian) that ukie Nazis Sergei Velichko (handle Chili) and Konstantin Nemichev, who tortured Russian POWs, have been taken by Russian special forces and now float in their snot begging for forgiveness during interrogations by FSB. 

I am sure they will experience a lot of "good" attitude when they are sent to serious Russian prison but, against the background of Russia's increasing desire to return the death penalty, nobody in Russia will shed any tear if these two lowlifes are executed. In fact, it is a highly desirable outcome. 

2. There is a huge misunderstanding, fueled (surprise, surprise) by Western MSM and some uber-patriotic Russian outlets that Russian-Ukrainian talk in Turkey somehow "stopped" Russian operations. Nothing could be further from the truth.

a) Head of Russian delegation Vladimir Medinsky merely articulated Ukrainian side's proposals, but NOT Russian position. He also stated that Moscow will review them and will give the answer sometime later (in Russian);

b) Reduction of the activity at Kiev-Chernigov Axis by Russian forces and I quote Medinsky "does not mean a cease fire". Russian troops still remain around Kiev and do what they were doing for the last three weeks--tying up remaining Ukie forces in and around capital of 404. 

c) Russia does not want to take Kiev, which will mean a serious damage to an ancient city and even more civilian casualties. At least not now.

d) Operations elsewhere proceed as planned and Nikolaev begins to feel the upcoming (and incoming) storm.

So, I don't understand what this fuss is all about.

3. Why "like amateurs"? 

I understand that Rep. Mike Gallagher graduated all kinds of "intel" universities and schools, such as National Intelligence University, but it has to be admitted that US foreign policy is run by amateurs and  I, personally, never hid my awe by the catastrophic failure of the so called US "strategic intelligence", the failure continues and the United States in general, and Mike Gallaher in particular do not know shit about Russia, let alone correlation of forces and what real warfare is. I guess US military record of the last 75 years is a great testament to that. Recall this?

Mr. Gallaher, read by syllables: the myopia of American strategic planning.  I also understand how difficult it is to explain to Mr. Gallaher that he is an amateur when it comes to real deterrents and modern conventional peer-to-peer warfare. So, the qualifier "look like" should be omitted in favor of "we are amateurs". Getting amateur results is what proves it all. Just take a look at POTUS. 

One cannot stop pretty much anyone in the US, let alone POTUS, from saying stupid things. Saying stupid things has become, sadly, America's pastime in the last 30 years and it is all due do a precipitous decline of the American elites across the board: from politics, to military, to media to what have you. 

4. Now to real professionals. Larry Johnson rebukes US media BS about 404. 

At what point will the American people and Europe wake up and realize they have been fed a steady diet of bullshit about what is actually happening on the ground in Ukraine. I have made this point in earlier posts–why do we not see any western reporters on the frontlines with the Ukrainian forces reporting on these magnificent triumphs? Because it is a chimera–i.e., an imaginary monster compounded of incongruous parts. 

I don't know at what point, but many Americans do seek out the alternative POV and the number of those Americans grows, I know this for sure. So, these are few items for Tuesday.

They invent a "story" of some defiant ukie grunts (long since debunked), and now, by showing some MLRS (Grad most likely) salvo, they claim the sinking of Vasily Bykov patrol ship. By MLRS no less)). "In accordance to reports", without mentioning, of course, that these are not "reports" but propaganda fake by ukies and their masters. Of course, no video or photographic evidence of sinking of Vasily Bykov is provided. Of course, it is not provided. 

 

But this whole BS, together with hundreds of Russia's combat aircraft "destroyed" and thousands upon thousands of Russkies killed on the battlefield,  exists only in the inflamed imagination of the US "journalists", who, apart from being whores (sorry, whores, for comparing you to US propaganda--I know, it is a huge insult to whores) and the brainwashed Western public which is utterly illiterate on such matters as operations of combat fleets and basic targeting. Obviously, the destruction of the moving target (ships do move in the sea and do not really stop during combat) by MLRS in the absence of targeting (most ukie radar, including those along the coast of the Black Sea are gone now) is something out of fantasy or cheap war-gaming on Commodore computer. Obviously for morons from ABC it is unknown that MLRS ukies have are classic "area impact" weapons designed only to work at the spread out ground targets based on accurate targeting. 

 

No doubt, the United States may try to provide targeting to ukies (you see--I am going now into a full blown "what if" BS scenario), but the main issue here is that the Black Sea Fleet currently completely blocked the 404 coast and with it it also brought to bear some damn effective AD ranging from Fort at RKR Moskva to Shtil on pr. 11356 frigates for which slow ballistic MLRS rockets are an easy target and no ship of the Black Sea Fleet operates out of the AD areas of the task group. At this stage one can only do a facepalm and admit that the West cannot even provide a believable BS. Not surprising, once one looks at the "elites" Western "education" provide for this kind of psyops. Recall, I already discussed this issue before. They are simply that incompetent and have no grasp of modern warfare, especially involving issues of C4ISR. 

 

In related news, Mariupol is unblocked and, finally, mass evacuation of civilians started, with mopping up of the center continuing. The war crime by 404 against civilians in Donetsk will not stay unsolved, by now it is known who and how gave an order to use Tochka U against civilians in Donetsk. This is the only type of the warfare combined West is capable of conducting: propaganda BS and killing civilians. I don't know, can anyone explain to this boy what is the real war?

Jake Sullivan, the national security advisor to US President Joe Biden, has warned Russia that NATO would go “full force” if any strike is recorded on NATO territory – intentional or not – after Moscow attacked a Ukrainian military base near the Polish border. In an appearance on CBS’ ‘Face the Nation’ on Sunday, Sullivan was asked by host Margaret Brennan whether the current US policy was “that any strike into Polish territory or airspace, intentional or unintentional” would be considered an attack on NATO. “The president has been clear repeatedly that the United States will work with our allies to defend every inch of NATO territory, and that means every inch,” Sullivan responded, explaining that “if there is a military attack on NATO territory, it would cause the invocation of Article Five, and we would bring the full force of the NATO alliance to bear in responding to it.”

Can somebody also explain to this ignoramus that NATO's "full force" militarily in terms of conventional response is primarily virtual because... well, again, he should have attended a serious military institution to get a real education, not studying the BS of political "science" and "international relations" in Yale and Oxford--stalwarts of the West's production of ignoramuses for top political jobs in Anglo-American world. We can see results of such an "education" all over the place, including "destruction" of Vasily Bykov by ukie MLRS. Do not expect integrity and honor from those people. Same goes for tangible evidence of destruction of the ship. Don't hold your breath--these are Western media, they lie for a living.

This, however, I think is too late for Meta. 

Facebook’s parent company Meta has changed its policy guidance on tolerance to hate speech to prohibit “condoning violence” against “Russians in general” and to ban calls for the death of heads of state, Reuters reported on Monday, citing a memo posted on the company’s internal platform. The Sunday post, published by Meta’s global affairs president, Nick Clegg, and seen by Reuters, suggests that Facebook is “narrowing the focus” of its content moderation policy to make it “explicitly clear” that a previous decisions made last week should not be interpreted as “condoning violence against Russians in general.”

Too late, creeps. The policy was already in place and, as with the murder, you cannot roll it back and say that things are cool now. Doesn't work like this. Obviously they should worry.

Russia’s Prosecutor General filed a legal complaint with the nation’s courts demanding all Meta platforms be outlawed and the company itself be designated an extremist organization in Russia over allowing hate speech against the country’s nationals. Facebook was banned in Russia even before these developments over discrimination towards state-owned and state-affiliated Russian media outlets.

It is not surprising that such a company goes homicidal when one considers who, as an example, dominates moderating policies there.

This is 2017. But then again, the US itself failed to notice how its own political discourse was ukrainaized. This is just the start. Here is your Monday primer.

Olaf Scholz Came In Handy...

And since this colorless German politician paraded himself, yet again, as a coward and a poodle, we might as well expand on the issue of which I write since the inception. More than 7 years ago I wrote:

Expecting from Ivy League humanities "educated" types understanding the Combined Arms Operations and why today there are full blown tank battles happening around Donetsk, as well as understanding the consequences of their decisions, is akin to expecting a local high school janitor practice brain surgery in spare time. But there are consequences and there are battles and, for the first time in history, Russian and Russophone civilians are being killed as a direct result of the US (and its European clients--but that is not really the news)  policies and support for their criminal proxies in Kiev.

The consequences of yet another defeat of VSU in Donbass can have a serious political fallout for Kiev junta and its US and European curators. In fact, some gangsters in Kiev may not even live to see themselves in a front of a jury for their war crimes. But the moment of truth is coming. Since then I never stopped writing about responsibility of those who perpetrated by now a very long list of war crimes not just in 404 but around the world. Now back to our present. Herr Scholz called statement by Vladimir Putin about genocide in Donbass "laughable" couple of days ago. Well, it is Germany's political "elite" which is laughable, but Scholz being a specialist in labor and employment law and in spewing hollow BS in Bundestag, should have updated himself on what it means when Vladimir Putin and Russia as a state begin to use such terms as "genocide" officially. He, certainly, could have consulted with his ignorant clueless bimbo Annalena Baerbock, but this "consultation" would have confused him even more. 

So, Russia's Foreign Ministry responds to Schols' comments today:

МОСКВА, 19 фев — РИА Новости. Москва в ближайшее время направит в Берлин материалы о массовых захоронениях в Донбассе после слов канцлера ФРГ Олафа Шольца о смехотворности утверждений, что на юго-востоке Украины происходит геноцид, написала в своем Telegram-канале официальный представитель МИД Мария Захарова. "Публиковать эти материалы мы не можем — любая платформа их заблокирует как "недопустимый контент". Аналогичный сет мы уже направили в Вашингтон", — добавила она, предупредив, что "это не могут смотреть даже те, кто видел все".

Translation: MOSCOW, February 19 - RIA Novosti. Moscow will soon send materials on mass graves in Donbass to Berlin after the words of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz about the ridiculousness of allegations that a genocide is taking place in the southeast of Ukraine, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel. “We can’t publish these materials – any platform will block them as “inappropriate content.” We have already sent a similar set to Washington,” she added, warning that “even those who have seen everything cannot watch it.”

 

The official diplomatic mail is being prepared and Germany will receive these materials shortly. Scholz' reaction, if he is not a complete moron, about "ridiculousness" of those claims, may, actually be the first nervous knee jerk reaction of a lawyer who was spooked by the fact that the President of Russia spoke about "genocide". Make no mistake, if war happens Ukrainian "elite", especially its militant neo-Nazi wing, will be brought to face war crimes tribunal. Where it will be established I don't know, but even Hague is not out of the considerations. But that is not just it, and here is the real issue: a number of Western military, political and media personalities WILL be indicted and that is a completely different matter. Russia was very meticulous in collecting and systematizing all the records of the atrocities and military crimes the West has committed around the world. Scholz also should recall that Germany played a decisive role in overthrowing a legitimate, however corrupt, Yanukovich government in 2014. There are many people in Germany, ranging from politicians to media, to German intel services, whose names are well known and who have a rap sheet which many thugs from  Chicago can only dream about.  Moreover, unlike Chicago thugs, these well nurtured and dressed ladies and gentlemen do this on a massive scale. 

 

They are not entirely stupid, because some of them can see where the West is going. In fact, a rough equivalent of Russia's deadly 1990s and chaos for both EU and the US are already here. Things will only get much-much worse with further disintegration of statehood institutions in the Western world and inevitable shake up in elites, because present ones are leading the West towards a complete political and cultural disintegration. This time is not far away. For the United States it is already here and the process is fairly advanced. Once Russia concludes consolidation of her economic and military position vis-a-vis combined West, which by that time will be in a deeper turmoil, the indictments will follow. These ones will be in relation to Western politicos and media. As I already stated, there are many of them who are guilty in assisting or instigating mass murders all around the world and the worst outcome for them is accelerating degradation of Western political and military institutions, which prior to 2014 were the ONLY guarantee for them to never face war-crimes tribunal. 

 

But then again, recall what I wrote more than 7 years ago. I reiterate:

But it is already clear that by failing to achieve any sensible political objectives in Ukraine and in Russia, and, by this, starting a massive global re-alignment, the United States sustained a defeat. What will be the consequences of this defeat? I hate to speculate, I just know that they are already big and that the moment of facing the reality is coming. 

I spent the last 8 years explaining in a minute detail why the West made a mistake of historic proportions by choosing Russia and Russians to fvck with. Russians have a proverb that once every century the combined West goers to Russia to has its ass handed to them by Russians. But West doesn't learn. Very many people in the West responsible for war crimes and crimes against humanity will be brought to justice and many of them know it. That is why the United States blindly continues with self-defeating propaganda of the "Russian Invasion" because not only they are ignorant, which they are, but because they begin to feel a worry. I am on record: the West lost the arms race and is losing economic competition and we know what it means: a defeat with everything that follows. Now Olaf Scholz may nervously repeat his statement about "ridiculous" or "laughable" claims of genocide. Does he want to insist on his position? He better consult UN Office on Genocide and recall why Nuremberg Tribunal was discussed (on Soviet initiative) already in 1943 at Tehran. Russians know a thing or two about it.
