To Those Who Still Read Press.

Here is Russian Foreign Ministry response to one of the many a stream of media BS in the West who go apoplectic about Russian-American consultations.

Translation: In connection with the speculations circulated in the media on the possible transfer of the Zaporizhzhya NPP (ZNPP) to Ukraine or the establishment of some kind of "joint control" over the station with Ukraine, the United States or representatives of international organizations, we would like to clarify the following. ZNPP is a Russian nuclear facility. Following the referendums held at the end of September 2022, the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions became part of the Russian Federation as full-fledged subjects. On October 5, 2022, Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 711 "On the specifics of legal regulation in the field of atomic energy use in the territory of the Zaporizhzhya region" was signed, securing the status of ZNPP as a facility under Russian jurisdiction. The return of the station to the Russian nuclear industry is a long-standing fact that the international community can only acknowledge.

The transfer of ZNPP itself or control over it to Ukraine or any other country is impossible. All the station's employees are citizens of the Russian Federation, their lives cannot be played with, especially considering the atrocities that Ukrainians have committed and continue to commit on the territory of our country. Joint operation of the Zaporizhzhya NPP with any state is also unacceptable. There are no such precedents in world practice. In this case, for example, it is impossible to properly ensure nuclear and physical nuclear safety, or regulate issues of civil liability for nuclear damage. An important aspect is that close cooperation between NATO intelligence services with Ukraine, which have impressive sabotage potential, makes it impossible to even temporarily admit representatives of these states to the Zaporizhzhya NPP.

The idea of any international organizations participating in the operation of the station also seems absurd, since neither the mandate nor the competence of any of them allows them to participate in the operation of nuclear facilities. In accordance with international law, including key specialized conventions, the states themselves bear the primary responsibility for ensuring nuclear and physical nuclear safety on their territory. In the case of ZNPP, it is the Russian Federation, and nothing else.

This is for those who still buy into media hype, much of it generated by the obvious divergence of European (a euphemism for globalist fascist governments) "interests" and the US which is looking for the offramp. We are only at the starting point. Lavrov's characterization of Europe as Nazi enablers is spot on.

Aaaand...

... Russians, indeed, are not coming.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has rebranded its Department of European Cooperation (DEC) into the Department of European Problems (DEP), according to its website. The relevant changes to the structural diagram on the ministry’s page were made earlier this week and Russian media reported them on Saturday. Despite the word “cooperation” being replaced with the word “problems” in the department’s title, the DEP will keep executing the same functions as before. Its task has been dealing with the “issues of international European organizations” such as the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe), the Council of Europe, the EU and NATO. The name of the department has only been changed in the Russian version of the website. For now it is still called the ‘Department of European Cooperation’ in the English, French and German versions.

Obviously, having contacts with essentially enemy's institutions doesn't imply "cooperation". This seemingly innocuous change of title is, however, symptomatic, because cooperation with Europe can exist only on the base of bi-lateral relations, such as Russian-Hungarian or Russian-Slovak relations. Such relations are not possible in principle with Germany, France or UK. They are by default problematic by virtue of being hostile on part of those Old Europe's chihuahuas and cannot be cooperative in any sense.

White Books.

Thanks to my friend Colonel Oleg Shalandin who reminded today about Russian Foreign Ministry's White Books. This is for those who think that Ukraine War Crimes Tribunal is far away--it is not. Here is a link to the section with White Books in Russian. And here is something about US involvement in Ukraine.

Russian officials said the arms supplied to the Kiev regime and the personnel servicing them were regarded as lawful targets for destruction. We emphasised that to avoid negative consequences, the United States should immediately withdraw its military personnel, discontinue arms supplies and stop providing the Armed Forces of Ukraine with guidance in real time for striking the deployment sites of the Armed Forces of Russia and civilians.

Russian officials made it perfectly clear to the Americans that the abetting the mass war crimes committed by Ukrainian formations is confirmed by objective evidence that cuts through the standard arrogant official explanations. In particular, the note of the US Embassy in Moscow dated March 6, 2023 reproduced the well-worn claim that “the US does not use military force against Russia, does not operate weapons against Russian forces, does not direct or control Ukrainian forces, and does not engage Russian forces on the battlefield.” The note said that “all US military personnel in Ukraine work in support of the Embassy.”

The mass of publicly accessible data and information available to Russia suggests that the US has deliberately sought to unleash a proxy war and is siding with one party in the conflict with a view to achieving its central goal of inflicting a “strategic defeat” on Russia. In this “division of labour”, the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev regularly provides cannon fodder in exchange for unprecedented financial injections, some of which goes to line the pockets of Vladimir Zelensky and his entourage. The Kiev regime is also receiving supplies of arms and equipment, including high-tech combat hardware (to replace destroyed arsenals and the ruined Ukrainian defence industry). The Pentagon and NATO structures are also supplying Kiev with the full range of intelligence information while NATO officials plan and directly command operations by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

While rejecting the obvious involvement of US military personnel in the hostilities, US officials do not conceal their intention to “continue to support Ukraine as long as it is necessary.” In the meantime, they are urging their clients to fight “to the last Ukrainian.” In public statements, Biden administration officials are justifying strikes on Russian territory.

Everything is being documented and transferred to Investigative Committee, which itself has large resources for data collection and processing. Many American, British, German and others' names will be listed in the documents submitted to Tribunal. Foreign Ministry merely creates the overall framework within which the Tribunal will operate and creates "paper trail". I am on record--neocons and US establishment chose very wrong people to fuck with, as per US military--I made a video on some of its "best" representatives today. I should upload it in an hour or so.

From Russian Foreign Ministry.

This statement has been already posted by Johnny Rotten, but it is worth again to remind everybody what is this all about. I spoke about this yesterday:

Today, Zakharova responded:

It is worth mentioning, that for some inexplicable reason Germany still counts itself as a huge economy which it is not. German economy is dwarfed by that of Russia and, if to rub the salt into the wound, Russians actually live better. In my video I present a table comparing Russian and German economies. Here is corrected (for cars) and updated one.

So, make your own conclusions

Now to this Patriot thingy. Can we, please, stop this charade. Since US media are not really reporting, one has to rely on Russian ones, which report this:

ВАШИНГТОН, 14 дек — РИА Новости. Белый дом не подтвердил включение ЗРК Patriot в будущий пакет военной помощи Украине, заявил координатор по стратегическим коммуникациям в Совете национальной безопасности Джон Кирби. "Я не могу подтвердить это сообщение", — ответил он на брифинге журналистам.
Translation: WASHINGTON, December 14 - RIA Novosti. The White House has not confirmed the inclusion of the Patriot air defense system in a future military aid package for Ukraine, said John Kirby, strategic communications coordinator at the National Security Council. "I can't confirm this message," he told reporters at a briefing.

Hey, don't look at me--I merely quote Kirby. But then again, knowing that Patriot "story" originated in the sewer of CNN, one can expect that, traditionally for US "journos", they simply made this shit up. In any case, it doesn't matter, since Patriot in any of its iterations will not make any difference whatsoever when faced with modern battlefield. As I am on record non-stop: does Pentagon need yet another embarrassment and reputational loss to its already laughable procurement policies? I thought so, it should concentrate on Maverick (Top Gun) franchise and make another one in which Tom Cruise shoots down International Space Station, which was captured by Russian terrorists, flying his F-14 Tomcat and then bombs Kremlin. Hey, but what do I know?

Larry brilliantly addresses this whole issue as "fantasies":
The propaganda flooding Western media about the situation on the ground in Ukraine surpasses anything I have seen in my 67 years of waddling around the world. Consider this whopper. Did you know that NATO is the big winner with respect to the war in Ukraine? (Before reading the following paragraph, please put on a neck brace to minimize your risk of whiplash.)
I agree, I never saw anything like this myself, including a complete unraveling of the US military mythology. Forget economic one for the combined West and here Mark Chapman does a very good job, including his virtuoso vernacular:
In fact, although I’m not a psychologist and don’t even play one on TV, the conclusion I have reluctantly arrived upon is that Ursula Von Der Leyen believes you and all the other European voters are stupid. Oh, the extent of the global lumpenproletariat assumed to be too stupid to reason for itself goes considerably beyond Europe, and it’s causing problems which extend well beyond its shores. But it is Europe which is Ground Zero for her unwavering line of self-stroking bullshit, and it is Europe which will bear its effects, perhaps and conceivably to its ruin.
Enjoy, if you will. I certainly did.

Drifting Apart.

The moment I wrote two days ago this:

Bang! Germany yesterday made her choice.

Officials in Moscow have issued a sternly-worded ultimatum to YouTube’s parent company, Google, saying the video streaming site could face restrictions after it took down two channels run by RT’s German-language service. In the statement, released on Wednesday morning, the country’s national media regulator, Roskomnadzor, said that it “demands all restrictions be lifted from the YouTube channels RT DE and Der Fehlende Part (DFP), run by the news outlet RT, as soon as possible.”According to the authorities, failure to do so would be a violation of Russian law and, “for such actions, an internet resource can be designated as breaching fundamental human rights and freedoms,” and can face a formal warning.“In the event that the owner of the platform doesn’t comply with the warning, legislation allows us to take measures including completely or partially blocking access to it,” Roskomnadzor added.
I don't know if Germany was forced to do this or not for sure, but I do lean toward the theory that the new incoming powers that be in Germany did it on their own accord, plus do not forget that any European "left" today is anti-Russian by definition for a number of ideological reasons, and when ideology, Atlanticist and globalist one in this case,  is involved one cannot expect rational behavior from those who follow it. As I already stated many times the paths of Russia and combined West are diverging and this process is going to accelerate. In some sense I am glad that Germany's political class and Germany's mostly Goebbelsonean-style media  finally "came out" and that makes many things clearer.

Rostislav Ischenko today came out with a "let me make historic parallels" article, which I have a number of legitimate professional questions to, but describing this Germany's snafu with RT and trying to predict the possible outcome, which will be a further deterioration of relations, which are now going into the open confrontation, he concludes:

Translation: Russia, of course, will also lose in the event of an aggravation, and a lot. But this will be merely a waste of money and time - development will slow down. The sandwich will have to be eaten not with black, but with red caviar. The West, on the other hand, has a good chance to understand what the phrase "dashing nineties" means. As practice and experience show, hybrid warfare is even less humane than conventional war. It seems that there are no front lines, and the Sonderkommando do not commit atrocities: tanks do not roar, carpet bombings are not carried out, no one is led to Babi Yar, and in vast territories tens of millions of people disappear somewhere along with the economy and even with civilization.

I do not believe that Berlin has people who can fully grasp what they did, but when Russia's Foreign Ministry uses the language such as this in its official statement:

Translation:  The date of the plan's implementation (One doesn't want to think that we are talking about Infobarbarossa), apparently, was chosen with special cynicism, given that September 28 is the International Day of Universal Access to Information.

That is ominous. Read the whole statement (use translator)--I haven't read from ever reserved Russian FM such a tone. A year ago, Lavrov already articulated to EU and Germany her real interests when basically told Germany to make her choices.  Recall that:

And that is the way it will be now. And even a rare lucid moment of departing Frau Kanzlerin when it may have gotten to her what I was writing about from the inception of this blog, among relatively recent:

This is exactly what is transpiring now and Germany made her choice. Of course, Berlin now denies its role in shutting down RT, but knowing who German "elites" are--I would rather negotiate with Taliban and believe them, than any politican from the West. My impression is that the first thing to go will be Deutsche Welle which carries on a proud tradition of Doctor Goebbels and I think that is who should go first. It is a disgusting outlet of the most primitive Russophobic propaganda and, again, let's not go where Ischenko tries to go in his article. Who cares what the Germany's objective interests were when she made decisions time after time against them for whatever reasons: be that Hitler, be that Wilhelm, or Merkel. What matters is that those decisions were made and, as Ischenko himself admits, Russia can live without Germany, the opposite is not true, however, and it is Germany's choice.  It is 2021, not 1914 or 1941. As I write for years, Russia will settle Germans who will be moving to Russia. In the end, Ischenko's article is titled Germany's Third Fateful Mistake. There are NO new Bismarks in Germany.

But as I repeat all the time: Russia is not a charity and she is not going to become any time soon, especially for those who obviously continue to think that they are indispensable for Russia. This might have been the case 20 years ago but it is 2021, not 2001 today. Siemens learned this reality the hard way. At this stage, Russia has many big fishes to fry and they are not in Europe. They certainly look genuinely joyful today.

What is the meaning behind this "fruitful meeting" we will learn later indirectly, but Turkey does move closer to Russia even without the usual media spin. Erdogan is a shrewd politician and knows where the future is.
