On Chubais' Removal And Other Things.

Generally speaking, the removal of odious Anatoly Chubais from the position of a biggest honcho in Rusnano is significant only in terms of symbolism--the author of a barbarian privatization in Russia in 1990s which lead to the economic catastrophe and de facto economic genocide of population deserves everything which may be coming to him. Some say that investigation is coming, if true--good. But by far most important conclusion is that pro-western so called "liberal" elites are in the process of final removal from Russia's governance. Chubais was a symbol of liberal bacchanalia and radical pro-western economic course, meaning, yes, privatization, a non-stop privatization and de-regulation, which, in the long-run was about fragmentation of Russia and radical weakening of it. Some say Chubais is an asset of Western intelligence services, he is certainly the member of the Bilderberg Club and is a representative of the Davos culture in Russia.

So, he was removed by Putin, who also refused to have a parting meeting with him--a first sign of some trouble coming his way--but let's not overestimate, as some pseudo-patriots do in Russia, Chubais' real significance for modern Russia. Liberal "block" in Russia's economy was on its way out even during Medvedev's tenure as Prime-Minister and coming of brilliant Mishustin and Belousov in their own was basically the finalization of the power transfer in Russia to statehoodniks and, actually, competent people. Chubais' removal is a mopping up operation and s symbolic middle finger to remnants of "liberal" bureaucracy which was contemplating a revenge for a while. But if was Crimea which signed the death sentence for them as a class and a brilliant operation of getting the main financial "distributor" of Russian liberda Michail Abyzov. So, only blind or fanatics wanted to deny the fact that Russia's "liberals" of Gaidar-Chubais mafia were being removed for years now. For people who are not well acquainted with the governance and the nature of political power--for these people nothing other than massive execution of everyone from liberal camp will be satisfactory. Yet, one should never forget that crooks, direct Western intelligence and influence assets, Russophobes have been planted into Russia's powerful bureaucracy since 1990s and instant removal of this cabal would mean a collapse of the system or even massive violence.

Today we know that the Russian state is strong enough to go for a jugular in corruption and treason and removal of  a cancerous growth and new cadres, real Russian elite, begin to arrive to the stage.

MOSCOW, December 2. /TASS/. First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Military-Industrial Commission Sergey Kulikov has welcomed the Russian President’s proposal appointing him as the head of the Rusnano company. Putin invited Kulikov to head the Rusnano company at a meeting on Wednesday. "This is an extremely important task, the dream of any technology investor, and of any manager. This is such a large-scale extraordinary task to create products and conditions for the implementation of our main national advantages at priority rates," Kulikov said, answering the question of the head of state about how he sees his tasks at the new position. Kulikov added that he considers it important to "learn how to turn ideas into products, sales into life cycle contracts with services, and experimental production into industrial ones."

When you read Kulikov's biography--you read Russia's history in effect, because it was always Russia's military-industrial-intelligence complex and its adjacent structures  from where best people of Russia traditionally emerged. It is just the way it is. Russian leaders are either competent former officers or, in general, military leaders, or the country gets Gorbachev and Yeltsin and is thrown into the chaos. For Russia chaos is ending an one can find Kulikov's biography (in Russian) to appreciate what kind of cadres are getting to the top of Russia under the wings of brilliant military-industrial engineers such as Sergei Chemezov and Yuri Borisov. Not since the times of Stalin could you see such a concentration of industrial management and military-industrial talent in one place. This fact also testifies to massive industrial and scientific plans Russia has and it is also clear that Russia asserts herself as a separate geopolitical entity which moves completely on her own irrespective of the external pressures to which she now fully able to respond.

Which brings us to famous Ivan Krylov's fable "Quartet":

The United States decides that it needs to contain Russia's aggression in Atlantic.

The Navy's fleet structure is not set up to deal with today's challenges, the service's top civilian leader told lawmakers on Wednesday. Terrorism is no longer the biggest threat facing the U.S., Navy Secretary Kenneth Braithwaite said during a hearing on Navy and Marine Corps readiness. Threats from Russia and China are increasing, and the Navy must reorganize to address them. "To meet the unique maritime challenges of the Atlantic theater, we will rename Fleet Forces Command as the U.S. Atlantic Fleet," Braithwaite said. "We will refocus our naval forces in this important region on their original mission -- controlling the maritime approaches to the United States and to those of our allies."

Let me be very clear here--I do respect, in fact there is a lot of admiration for the US Navy, its history, its accomplishments, but this is not, in 2020, a navy whose problem is in the structure. It is not the structure which is "not set up"--it is the whole thing which, as Krylov's says--no matter your position--is not a force capable to fight XXI century naval war. US Navy simply has no tools to do so. Of course, the US Navy's submarine force is excellent, advanced but other than that, modern US Navy is the navy built around Sea Control as it was conceived in the middle of the XX century. Sure, one can "change structure" and build more aircraft carriers, as an example, but how can such a navy control approaches "to the United States and to those of our allies"? How can any navy do this today? Sure, one can build all kinds of bases, increase number of the Patrol/ASW aircraft, build more frigates and destroyers, which, granted US' economic situation is a whole other matter altogether. But how can US Navy "control maritime approach" to, say, Europe? Hm. Russia doesn't really need navy to rearrange stones in every NATO's European country, including sinking all their navies in their bases.

If those navies, in case of war, manage to get out of bases, it makes very little difference in terms of survivability of surface assets against modern strike weapons. I am constantly on record that four-five MiG-31Ks operating from Khmeimim base in Syria "close off" pretty much whole of Mediterranean for any type of naval force practically to the entrance of Gibraltar Strait, with the news of latest dedicated anti-shipping version of 3M54 Kalibr having the range of 1,500 kilometers or disclosure of updated 4,500 kilometer range 3M14's capable of hitting moving targets, I mean, come on. Let's be real. What is "control". In case of real war, God forbids, Russia simply will shut off the space around Europe and even Caspian Flotilla will have little problem targeting anything in Persian Gulf and I mean ships. Now, Russia, having permission to set up a base in Sudan, the treaty allows simultaneous basing of four ships, including with nuclear propulsion, has some plans. Just imagine newly modernized Admiral Nakhimov "parked" in the Red Sea. All those Zircons, Kalibrs and Onikses and who knows what else will be packed into the Red Sea. What a lovely place to control ALL of the Middle East. Times changed, so did warfare. If I would have told anyone in 2010 that two small missile ships of Buyan-class can launch 16 anti-shipping missiles (M=2.9 supersonic on terminal) from Caspian Sea and sink or damage dramatically a whole fleet, including aircraft carrier, in Persian Gulf--I would have been looked at as a madman, or laughed at. Nobody laughs in 2020. Simple as that. I warned about paradigm shift for years.

Matthew 5:39 States.

From New International Version of Bible:
But this is New International Version. Some Russian editions, however, have this translation:
But I tell you not to resist the evil person. Instead, whoever shall strike you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also, then leaning slightly to right administer a good uppercut into the body, with left hook following into the right jaw (those with good background in serious martial arts may administer Mae Geri into the gut or evil person's face).
So, I get it, so called lefties in the US and Europe are deranged and many do have unmanly psychological and physiological way of manifesting their displeasure with MAGA people or anyone who disagrees with them. Consider this Berkley "professor". Notice how fast cowardly SOB leaves the scene. In fact, he runs away, after striking an innocent man while himself hiding in the crowd. Obviously, later charges against this "professor" were all dropped--it is California after all. And I am sure professor's progressive credentials are impeccable. He looks like a loser and gender-confused.

Liberals (or "lefties") continue to go bananas, however, and now some 43 year old loser from Florida does this, attacking a 67 year old man wearing MAGA hat. You can see and read about the whole ordeal here. Apart from him behaving like a crack whore who didn't get a fix from a client and spitting on otherwise totally peaceful senior citizen, the dude, allegedly an "engineer" left me completely confused.

"Trump supporters are communist and racist," he said.

WTF? Dude really needs his head examined, but that is beyond the point, the point is different. I am a Second Amendment enthusiast and I am all for Concealed-Carry but I think pulling a gun on this imbecile would have been a bit too much. In the same time, getting older myself, I can understand that 67 year old man may not have in him anymore what is required for chasing down SOB and beating the shit out of him. So, here is a conundrum. What is too much for such an incident? In Russia, this SOB would have had his jaw displaced in no time, sadly, US is not Russia in this particular circumstance. As this creep commented:
In apparent reference to Youngblood, who is 67-years-old, he also said: "I don't even care that I'm going to jail, this is actually exciting, plus I have more time on this earth than he does anyway, he probably feels so good about himself."
Well, that is the problem--it is one thing of having "more time on this earth" when having a $500 bond and having an arrogant and disgusting mug like this. Totally another having same but with some facial features rearranged and have their color changed in full accordance to old scripture verse, thus providing a good Pavlovian conditioning to all kinds of "progressive-aggressive imbeciles" that next time they may, indeed, have someone administer enough amount of pain for them to, in fact, not requiring reporting them to the police. In the end, how about trying to get someone closer to your own age and frame size--that seems like a reasonable suggestion.

Any thoughts on this?

P.S. Real men spit only into the face of death and that is a heroic act.

Some Thoughts On Russian "Opposition".

I deliberately used "opposition" term, instead of more traditional "liberals", for a reason--at this stage I see less and less difference between most of the politico-ideological fringes in Russia be that "liberals", self-proclaimed "nationalists" or, even, some "communists" from, what Alexander Rogers astutely termed as CPRF (Commercial Party of Russian Federation--you know, "communists"). There is very little difference between these people and media which serve them. Practically all of them are hysterical and, as was noted not for once (this relates to any media), are populated by office plankton which fancies themselves "journalists". This is an eclectic public which is badly educated and has no serious professional or human skills but, because they have degrees in "journalism", "economics", sociology, what have you, they think that they know things. They don't in regards to any field which actually requires serious expertise, forget serious system analysis.

As I stated not for once--modern world became so complex that ability to use iPhone or, even, write some app counts for nothing where systematic education and ability to grasp complex reality is required. Person with degree in the so called "journalism" does not have cognitive apparatus for passing judgements on even basic technological and industrial topics, forget military ones--that is a wowser. Such a person surely will not be able to write Manufacturing Plan (say for leading edge of the wing of aircraft), nor will.... nah...whom am I kidding here--most of them don't know shit from shinola. Add here, usually, egos larger than cathedrals, arrogance and organic disagreement with policies (usually from liberal, that is libertarian, perspective--that is, it is all about me, me, me) no matter how good or bad those policies are and you get this BS from known mouth-piece of Western "business circles" rag Kommersant which drops the "news" (5 days ago) about Russian MC-21 narrow body aircraft being under threat because the West stopped providing composite materials for MC-21's "black", that is fully composite carbon fiber, wing (in Russian).

The fact that trio of losers who wrote (or were ordered to) this piece forgot to mention that such a "threat" was realized already in 2015 and that there was a reason that UAC (United Aircraft Corporation) responded to publication and to Kommersant's "sources" which were used for writing this load of crap, as totally contrived, seemed not to bother them. Of course, they know better, because they are...journalists. But, as you may have guessed already, in the world of liberal (and so called "patriotic") hamsters this publication created yet another shitstorm about "Putin Vse Slil" (Putin Flushed Everything Down). And here we come to the key issue--it is not surprising that it is very difficult to find bio (or basic CVs) info on all those liberal (and "patriotic") journos. Who would want to flaunt their incompetence. But hear me out. It was this same Kommersant which 8 month ago, in April 2018, started spreading not only fake (I called it immediately, in Russian) but deliberately provocative info about allegedly 7 Russian aircraft destroyed at air-base Khmeimim in Syria. Well, Kommersant was spreading this BS based, yet again, on its "sources" in MoD. Boy, was there a revelation when their "source" turned out to be nothing more than amateur Roman Saponkov who decided to become a freelance "hero-reporter" and who, most likely himself was BSed by his Syrian "sources" of the level of janitor in the convenience store near Khmeimim most likely.

Inevitably the BS was utterly debunked with a single SU-24 having its empennage slightly damaged by a shrapnel--damaged parts were replaced within 24 hours and the aircraft continued to fly combat missions. Saponkov doubled down on his BS and, basically, should be treated as a pathological liar and a man with zero military experiences. But Kommersant really DOES know what it is doing and for WHOSE benefit it is constantly spreading all kinds of BS. After shistorm created by this rag subsided somewhat and, as usual, all premise of this shitstorm turned out to be mostly a disinformation, specialists started talking. For starters they reminded these panic-mongers that already in 2015 things were rolling:
Russia aims to regain its leadership in the carbon fiber sector and the production of strong, lightweight composite materials used in construction and industry.
So, basically for people who spread such a BS it is beyond their grasp that after Match 1, 2018 Putin's speech to Federal Assembly they should have made a note to themselves that they know very little. But significance of that speech was not in new weapons, by now even Russian "opposition", while cringing, already knows inside that they are fools. No, the significance of Kinzhals, Zircons, Avangards, what have you is in the fact that such missiles use large percentage of carbon fiber and other composite materials in their assembly. So, one is forced to ask then--can the nation which develops such breakthrough materials which allow weapon systems to remain under control and functional while flying in the cloud of a hot plasma, develop a carbon fiber material for a wing of a commercial aircraft? Well, for people with even an iota of common sense the answer seems obvious. This is not to speak of the fact that Kommersnat's BS was already debunked. But now recall this, recent "vbros" (throw in of fake info). Another BS spread, gleefully by Russian "opposition" media.

Of  course, this too was debunked, but couple days ago, Russia, as if taunting this bunch of Russian urban know-it-all office plankton, announced that Concern Tehnodynamica completed trials of fire protection and oxygen systems for both SSJ-100 and MC-21 (in Russian) thus continuing to increase the share of the domestic parts in both aircraft to such a degree that no "sanctions" will matter. But my issue is not with Russian industry, which continues to produce state-of-the-art technology, both military and civilian, totally out of own resources but with this extremely narrow circle of pretentious "market analysts", merchandisers, marketing specialists and holders of other degrees in recognition of a good Scotch from the bad one and Ph.Ds in the brands of smartphones, designer clothing and jewelry. Do they even feel (I don't think they have brains to grasp) this sense of own uselessness other than in the fields no serious person cares about? I give them this, though, they are useful tools (and many of them subsist on foreign grants and stipends) and idiots in a titanic war combined West, under American guidance, unleashed on Russia and Russian people. But that is the point--these are precisely the people who can produce nothing of value, beneficial to either own nation, or humanity and who can only sell ignorance and disinformation in the world in which their "reporting" is nothing more than trash thrown out daily on a dumpster where it truly belongs.

UPDATE: Ah, lovely. Today 01/16/19 (or 16/01/19 for Europeans) the General Director of Aerocomposit company, Anatoly Gaidansy, in his interview to popular weekly Arguments and Facts (AiF) humiliates and wipes the floor with incompetent BSers from Kommersant (in Russian), while assessing their BS as:

                      Это полнейшая техническая безграмотность

Translation: this is a complete technical illiteracy.

My question is to Gaidansky: Anatoly, what did you expect from those losers from this liberal cabal in Moscow, the knowledge of composite structures and how their specifications are formed and applied? I am sure those advanced girls and boys from Kommersant and other "market" publications can tell us all a lot about AS9100, ah..well. In late Soviet times, during Gorbachev's disaster, the only use their newspapers would be good for as a toilet paper only. In Stalin's times they would be...well, they wouldn't be.
