And the angle. While scrolling through the comments to my latest video today,

I stumbled on a succinct commentary by one of the viewers:

Why would Germany commit suicide for, at best, sketchy LNG at 5x the price? The only answer is, Biden guaranteed that Russia would collapse under sanctions and the plunder would go to the west. "Join us and you'll be controlling Russian Resources! "

The depth and implications of this commentary are much larger than may seem at first. Yet, it is a very good explanation of Germany's economic suicide, which goes extremely well with this "piece". Andrew Cockburn, decrying the failure of sanctions,

We were promised ‘economic shock and awe’ against Russia. But one year after its brutal invasion of Ukraine, Moscow looks poised to weather the worst of Western sanctions.

I have news for Cockburn--there ARE NO people in all of the US military-political establishment today who can really understand not only Russia, but the world outside the Beltway. Moreover, they, as I am on record, top-bottom, cannot do strategy, because they lack in fundamentals. Read my lips--US "machine" of elites' manufacturing is utterly broken, because the way those "elites" are educated is a complete utter academic fraud based on, at best, shaky assumptions, at worst--on a radical rewriting of history. It is the house of cards and we see it in the process of collapse upon encounter with reality and the winds of history. Germany? Hey, it was Germany's choice.

RT suddenly noticed Akopov's piece I wrote about yesterday and they even translated it in full. Which is good. 

Petr Akopov: Why George Soros and Francis Fukuyama are ‘Putin’s useful idiots’. The Western establishment's preference for liberal loudmouths rather than genuine Russia experts is a major boon for Moscow. 

I can only reiterate what I wrote yesterday and ad nauseam for many years prior. 

Those who follow my writing should know that often I stress the fact that understanding of Russia is crucial for avoiding a war, but only if one deals with rational people in the combined West who can properly assess the costs of such a confrontation, which will be catastrophic and deadly for the combined West. But then again, once you see, as is precisely the case, a collective Fukuyama (a euphemism for ignorant and under-educated demagogues) being in charge of the West, the issue becomes almost unsolvable, because you cannot explain to an idiot that he is an idiot because he is an idiot--this is almost a complete characteristic of the combined West's political class and academe. Some exceptions, which, certainly, do exist, merely confirm the rule. 

The problem is systemic which means that the only way to fix it is to change system. In this particular case, it is American higher learning educational machine allegedly working to produce "elites". It is not just broken, it is an academic and practical fraud reproducing white board doctrine-mongers and demagogues who fail even in the simplest tasks of developing workable tactical, forget strategic, theories. But, what can I say, you read this blog for eight years and, to be frank, I hate the fact that my suspicions and fears turned out to be true. There is nobody there to talk to seriously about the real world situation. It is the End of History for them.
