She Uses A Very Wrong Term.

That is not what's going to happen.

The EU will have to resume dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the Ukraine conflict, the European Commission’s chief spokesperson has said.
Dialogue here is a euphemism for listening to Russia's demands, period. Russia, as a military victor, is not obliged to listen to EU, because losers are in no position to demand anything. But it is indicative that EC's spokesperson suddenly talks about it. Well, too little, too late and I see the only ONE reason for Russia talking to EU--to prevent it from sliding into a complete anarchy which would require Russia's interference in order to secure her borders.

Backtracking Now...

... no surprise here. Now it is same ol', same ol' PR rotine--"the shit was taken out of the context", "this is not what I meant" and other verbal diarrhea to cover up what amounts to blackmailing and threatening the high political official of an independent country.

It turns out that one of the European Commissioners, the Hungarian Oliver Varhelyi, Commissioner for neighborhood policy and enlargement, threatened Georgian PM Kobakhidze with the fate of Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico, who recently suffered an assassination attempt. This was posted in Georgia government Official Facebook page: “Even against the background of years of blackmail, the threats that were voiced in a telephone conversation with one of the European Commissioners were striking. In particular, in his conversation with me, the European Commissioner listed a number of measures that Western politicians could take after overcoming the veto on the transparency law, and said while listing these measures – ‘You saw what happened to Fiсo, you should be very careful’, the post claims.”

Expectedly, the routine is such:

“Varhelyi said in a statement he wanted to tell Kobakhidze not to inflame passions and the assassination attempt in Slovaka “was made as an example and as a reference to where such high level of polarization can lead in a society even in Europe”.

Sure, sure. Here is the guy's background:

Olivér Várhelyi (born 22 March 1972) is a Hungarian lawyer and diplomat, and European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement from Hungary in the von der Leyen Commission after the rejection of László Trócsányi by the European Parliament.

Needless to say--normal people do not work for EC, especially near war criminal and US puppet von der Leyen. But, as Russian proverb goes: the word is not a sparrow, if it flies out you are not going to catch it. Even if you are a lawyer and sold your soul for verbal equilibristics and BS. Damage control all the way, but it is too late.

Now, about "concerned citizens" who appear on this blog each time VSU sustains horrendous losses and loses badly, which is a normal occurrence. Immediately new accounts pop up on Disqus and begin to push all kinds of BS from telegram channels, many of which are of TSIPSO and GUR origin and begin to recycle all kinds of BS, including fake photos and videos about Russian losses. I want to stress it again, and I would have pinned this post to the top of the blog, but Blogspot doesn't have this function anymore. So:

1. Russians do sustain losses too, in blood and materiel. Those losses have minimal if any effect on operations and strategy.

Those who do not understand these numbers--they need to attend elementary school and take basic classes on multiplication and division. It is a slaughter on industrial scale which NO NATO acting officer, let alone grunt has any concept of. They simply have no experience with that. Russian losses are a tiny fraction of all that, PLUS--you can easily multiply this number of Russian MoD by two and that will give you a close number of total daily casualties, with original number--1630 give and take--being the number of KIAs ONLY. Hence, all kinds of "concerned citizens" materialize.

2. Now about Western legacy media--99% of those people who work or report for them are human and professional garbage, many of who should be behind bars as war criminals. Here is example:

MOSCOW/LONDON, May 24 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to halt the war in Ukraine with a negotiated ceasefire that recognises the current battlefield lines, four Russian sources told Reuters, saying he is prepared to fight on if Kyiv and the West do not respond.Three of the sources, familiar with discussions in Putin's entourage, said the veteran Russian leader had expressed frustration to a small group of advisers about what he views as Western-backed attempts to stymie negotiations and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy's decision to rule out talks.
Immediately: Reuters DOES NOT have any sources in "Putin's entourage" other than some lowly figure in some shitty Russian media outlet such as Kommersant who tells cretins from Reuters that he(she) has access to "Putin's entourage". Plus, UK "journalism" and lying are two sides of the same coin. So, these creeps invent shit. Well guess what, as usual, their BS is short lived, as are "numbers" by VSU about five Russian divisions they annihilate every day, and State Department and Pentagon believe(d) them due to professional incompetence.
Translation: MINSK, May 24 – RIA Novosti. Vladimir Putin spoke about his readiness for negotiations on Ukraine, but they are possible in order to achieve the goals of the special operation, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said, commenting on the Reuters publication. According to the agency, citing sources, the Russian leader is allegedly ready for a dialogue with Kiev on a ceasefire if the Ukrainian authorities recognize the current front lines as borders. “No, this is not so. The President has repeatedly said that he is ready for negotiations. But these are negotiations in order to achieve the goals that we are now achieving through a special military operation,” Peskov noted. As the Kremlin representative clarified, Putin meant that the complex documents drawn up earlier could be the foundation for discussions, but nothing more.

For those with the short memory--this is the same Russia's position since... 2022. It never changed. Losers from London and Washington now desperately need some kind of "good news" and because the BS is the only thing they can do--they pull "news" out of their asses.

3. Finally, for those who still don't understand--I do not read or communicate with all those internet "military analysts" with the exception of military-intelligence professionals I PERSONALLY recognize as people of competence, professional and human integrity, be that in the US or in Russia. So far, my ass sensitivity on this matter didn't fail me strategically. So, whenever I hear such terms as "Russian sources" or some nobody uses this or that--I always go for the jugular and ask about their backgrounds. People are free to follow whatever they want and believe whatever they want, but military reality is always much more complex than media reports, let alone BS which infested info-space of SMO from day one. Operation "Ghost of Kiev" never stops, as numbers of Ukie babushkas shooting down Kinzhal hypersonic missiles with the can of pickles grow every day.

In conclusion:

Translation:  The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) will reduce its staff by 60%, said the head of the Main Directorate of Defense Planning of the General Staff, Yevgeny Ostryansky, reports TSN. “Due to the released personnel, it is planned to replenish the command and control bodies at the operational and tactical levels, as well as combat units. This, in turn, will allow for the rotation of units that carry out long-term combat missions in the combat zone,” he said and added that during combat operations “those structures that directly control groupings of troops should be strengthened.”

Victory for 404 has never been so close. Should I comment on that?

Aww, Poor Babies.

The moment Lavrov states (yesterday) that if NATO wants to decide issue on the battlefield, so be it, Russia is ready, Europeans suddenly begin to backtrack and... lying as usual.

Translation: BRUSSELS, May 13. /TASS/. The European Commission considers statements that the European Union wants victory in Ukraine on the battlefield to be disinformation, despite the fact that this phrase was previously written by the head of the EU diplomatic service, Josep Borrell. This was stated by EU Foreign Service Representative Peter Stano at a briefing in Brussels. Commenting at the request of journalists on the phrase of Sergei Lavrov, whom Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to reappoint as head of the Foreign Ministry, that if the West “want [a solution to the conflict in Ukraine] on the battlefield, then it will be on the battlefield,” Stano considered it “ misinformation and distortion of reality." In turn, the head of the press service of the European Commission, Eric Mamer, called the same question from journalists incorrect. "The European Union is not on the battlefield. It is Russia that wants victory on the battlefield. Asking us about this, excuse me, means ignoring everything we have said on this topic before," he argued. He also said that the European Union is "an organization based on a philosophy of peace." Borrell was the first European official to say that the conflict in Ukraine “must be won on the battlefield.” He wrote about this on April 9, 2022 on X (formerly Twitter) after a visit to Ukraine in the company of the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. From that moment on, this phrase was constantly repeated throughout 2022 and the first half of 2023 by many European politicians, and then disappeared from the vocabulary of European officials. This roughly coincided with the defeat of the so-called Ukrainian offensive last summer.

Well, we knew that European elite are lying sacks of shit, all of them:

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, during a visit to Ukraine on April 8 and 9, received from her a list of weapons, the supply of which he intends to discuss with the EU Military Committee. Borrell plans to convene the committee in the coming days, he said in an interview with Corriere della Sera. According to the head of EU diplomacy, Ukraine needs to provide what it needs. The delivery of weapons must be accelerated, as they are critical in the outcome of the conflict. Borrell had previously posted on social media that the war must be won on the battlefield, 360tv reports.

But now we also know that they are cowards and supporters of terrorism. Thanks to internet it is difficult to cover up own tracks even if for brainwashed Western public.

Charlatans From Economics.

Generally speaking, what passes in the West and, by default, many other places globally for "economic science" is almost a complete BS, a pseudo-science, a euphemism for fraud and snake oil peddling. Long ago economics in the West has become nothing more than just another political and ideological tool in the arsenal of means which serve only one end--the recycling of Western political "elites" at the top while selling an illusion of a democratic choice to plebes. But sometimes the reality breaks through seemingly impenetrable barriers of BS, demagoguery, gaslighting and beaten to death economic tropes (how about the US economy being "first in the world") and even fraudsters cannot continue to deny it.

FRANKFURT/LEUNA, Germany, May 16 (Reuters) - RWE (RWEG.DE) has opened an account in Russia to pay for gas in euros, a spokesperson for Germany's largest power producer said, preparing to meet Moscow's demands for a new payment scheme ahead of a closely-watched deadline later this month. Germany's economy minister Robert Habeck also sounded an optimistic note, saying the new method, which has led to confusion among European gas buyers and raised concerns about possible supply disruptions, would not cause any problems.

This is yet another one who did so and the list of EU "customers" opening those accounts is growing. Now even complete morons from European Commission, who helped to ruin European economy, cannot deny reality.

The country’s export earnings are expected to surge thanks to high prices and strong demand for commodities. “This will enable the government to support the ruble, vulnerable groups and the economy, limiting the decline in real GDP to 10.4% in 2022,” the report says. The EC predicts the Russian economy to stabilize as soon as in 2023, as the country is expected to adjust to the new reality. At the same time, GDP growth is projected to remain restrained next year, amounting to 1.5%, since the ongoing import substitution evoked by the departure of foreign businesses will not be effective enough.

Truth is, ANY, I underscore it--ANY info and conclusions on Russian economy from Western rating agencies, economic forecast and accounting firms, international banks and orgs are absolutely worthless, because the framework within which this whole well oiled machine of selling economic BS to Wall Street operates is totally removed from the economic reality on the ground which is much more complex than just debit-credit ledger or reports (always wrong and under reporting) on inflation.

Yet, this news is as important, if not more, than any events on the ground in Russian SMO in Ukraine, because it is this geopolitical and geoeconomic background against which the war progresses in 404. For dopamine-dependent armchair "strategists", gamers and military porn masturbators, who need their daily doze of destruction, death and combat observed from afar, this news, same as such as news as Kherson Oblast already confirming its intent to become Russia's region (in Russian), same goes for Zaporzhskaya Oblast and other regions of primarily Southern Ukraine and this time, in 2022, not least through a windfall of cash due to dramatic rise in prices of resources, even against the background of overall combined West's economic decline. In the end, one may live just fine without new (and overpriced) junk of iPhone or new, also overpriced, brand hand bag, one cannot live without heat, electricity and food, despite Western economists trying to convince other people that one can. But even they now surrendered to a grim reality of doing as Russia tells them to do and it really hurts the pitiful remains of their self-respect.

Plus, of course, the beginning of the process of surrender of Nazis, mercenaries and VSU blocked before that for month at the Azov Steel (recall how many "analysts" were crying foul when Putin ordered to simply seal off this plant?) does not add to already grim mood in the West (not to mention the remnants of 404) and even regurgitating military fakes from 404 does nothing to improve it. As you all know, I am not really interested in all this "tactical" minutiae of SMO (I leave that and deriving BS conclusions from it to all those Podolyaka, Kotenok, Cassad and other benefactors of monetization of their militarily illiterate crap) but insights, especially through VSU foreign mercenaries and Nazi POWs, provide a glimpse into the kitchen of Ukie resistance. Here is one (in Russian) among many thousands of other POWs.

He complains that Polish and American mercenaries treated VSU badly, ate and drunk much better than VSU regulars, never sharing really, and, in general, used VSU personnel as their maids. Ladi-fucking-da, and what did they expect? For NATO people VSU are subhumans given only enough equipment and training to kill Russians (civilians primarily). No wonder all those NATO "heroes" evaporate once they smell the start of the real battle, not the safari-type hunting on Rooskies. Indeed, those damn Rooskies have tanks, artillery and high precision weapons--not a TOE all those NATO people used to facing in war.

While I radically disagree with Rostislav Ischenko that Russia didn't expect 404 resistance--this is not how military planning on a strategic and operational level works and how decision trees are acted upon--but even he, and he surely knows 404 orders of magnitude better than me, had to admit (in Russian) that disintegration of VSU has begun, and even the latest about the removal of Ukies' big honcho of Territorial Defense (battalions) which continue to sustain appalling losses on the front, is another indication of the ongoing implosion. Again, Austin didn't call Shoigu to talk pleasantries, he demanded the immediate "cease fire". I also radically disagree with Ischenko on his interpretation of the American aims in 404, but Ischenko is not a military man and he doesn't know the US that well. So, here is your primer for Monday and we need to be patient.

So, The Punishment Starts In Earnest.

You already read it, but let me reiterate:

Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, has accused Russia of using natural gas supplies as an “instrument of blackmail” following Gazprom's decision to halt exports to Poland and Bulgaria on Wednesday. Warsaw and Sofia failed to pay for Russian gas deliveries in April in rubles, Russia's state-owned energy corporation explained. In a statement released on Wednesday, von der Leyen claimed that the "announcement by Gazprom that it is unilaterally stopping delivery of gas to customers in Europe is yet another attempt by Russia to use gas as an instrument of blackmail." The Commission president went on to describe the decision as “unjustified and unacceptable,” adding that it further highlighted the “unreliability of Russia as a gas supplier.”

Oh my, so sanctions and stealing financial reserves are not "unjustified and unacceptable",  and so is arming Nazi regime in Kiev, but getting slapped into face for doing so is now bad? We all know what could be said here, but as I stated before Poland and Bulgaria will be made an example to show others that Europe did it to herself and if need be, Russia may stop practically all economic activity with Europe. But not everybody in brainwashed Europe wants to commit a suicide. Here is one, out of many, such an example.

Italian energy giant Eni SpA is preparing to open ruble accounts at Gazprombank JSC, allowing it to potentially comply with Russian demands that gas must be paid for in local currency, according to people familiar with the matter. The move is precautionary as Eni seeks more guidance from the Italian government and European authorities on whether -- and under what conditions -- it may use the accounts to buy Russian gas, the people said.
Many other European companies already opened Ruble accounts and the "plan" (developed in kindergarten) is simple and transparent here--to buy additional volumes of gas and oil through Ruble account holders and then distribute those volumes inside EU, including to all those "proud" nations as Poland, Bulgaria and it seems Finland too. Sure. As I "warned", Hungary may become a very rich country soon. Even Austria may get on that lucrative scheme (in Russian), which, in the end, raises the question why Austrian Chancellor went to Moscow recently at all? He tried to threaten Putin and was shown to the door immediately. Putin is on record: the refusal to pay in Rubles is a breach of contract, period.

I know how difficult it is for combined West to accept this reality, but resources-based Ruble is here now and not just de facto but de jure and is becoming a very hot commodity. As this, today's, exchange rate testifies to:
that there is a lot of butt-hurt and sore losing is going on in Western capitals and Yahoo News doesn't even bother anymore and simply places this kind of BS on  its front page:

Following the example of Dunkirk: the fighters of Mariupol ask for a procedure that even Hitler agreed to in 1940.

Per military news, which, as we all know Russia is losing badly, and as UK toy soldiers inform us:

Ukraine retains control over the majority of its airspace, Britain’s defence ministry said, adding that Russia has failed to effectively destroy Ukraine’s air force or suppress its air defences.

I think Sandhurst has to be simply rebranded into the Circus Academy (there is a good one in Tucson, as an example) and just be done with all this military mambo-jumbo because the graduates of the Circus Academy (acrobatics department) can do as swell of a job discussing modern warfare as Britain's Defense Ministry. But then again, Pink Floyd should review and rewrite their  line from The Dark Side of The Moon's immortal track Time: "Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English Way". English way is not quiet, it is bombastic, into your face, loud stream of utter hysterical bullshit which comes as a surprise for fans (like me) of the old English culture of the stiff upper lip, delightful humor, acute sense of self-deprecating and great intellect all of which long ago left the shores of the Foggy Albion and gave us this:

Boy, how far has Great Britain fallen.
But then again, this is the choice British people made and that's the way the cookie crumbles. But if I would have been David Gilmour and Roger Waters I would have rewritten this line from Time. But that is just me, little insignificant me. Indeed, what do I know.

Well, What Can I Say;))

This is for those who doubted.

European Commission says EU companies can pay for gas in rubles

But that was expected one way or another. Get a load of this.

US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said on Thursday that a complete European ban on Russian oil and gas imports would “clearly” raise global oil prices and may inflict harm on Europe and other parts of the world. Speaking to reporters following a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and Finance Minister Sergiy Marchenko in Washington, Yellen said that such a ban could ultimately cause more harm than good. “It could actually have very little negative impact on Russia, because although Russia might export less, the price it gets for its exports would go up,” she said, as quoted by AFP.

This doesn't require any commenting because it is self-evident, this is how the geopolitical defeat of a century looks like. It is also the end of the US Dollar as a fait accompli. The military part of this is happening now in Ukraine, with Russian forces continuing to physically annihilate the remnants of VSU. Russia has all the time on her hands she needs, if any one wonders about timing. The mode of the old bull from the famous anecdote is "ON".

Here is an interesting fact, wink, wink. First Deputy Commander of the Azov is, actually, POW now. Here is he telling to Sladkov that he was, actually, doing humanitarian work in Mariupol, you know... (in Russian).

Boy is he singing now like a bird, that also gives a hint about Putin's (prudent) decision to block those thugs in Azov Steel and see what fish, I mean excrement, will surface. In conclusion, EU's main foreign policy clow... I mean honcho, Josep Borrell informed 404 today that EU "exceeded" its budgets for military aid for Kiev. Oh boy, that's gotta hurt;))

UPDATE: Just to demonstrate, these are today's headlines from oilprice.com.
LOL))

"It Is Not My Fault"(c).

Excellent introduction into narcissists' reaction when they get figured out.

But while human world and the world of geopolitics are distinct, geopolitics is driven not by geography but human reaction to geography and other aspects of natural surrounding which do provide nations and alliance with characters relatable to human behavior. Needless to say, in this excellent intro to narcissists' losing control over their victims present character, that of the losing control narcissist, of the combined West absolutely shines through.

In related news, Welt in Germany opened "second front" today against... and you have guessed it.. Masha and the Bear.

Translation: The animated series "Masha and the Bear" is a Russian export hit. The plot is packed with Russian culture. But is Masha also Putinesque, as has already been claimed? And is the bear propaganda? If you look closely, you won't get rid of a queasy feeling.

Generally speaking, they don't know how else to make Russia "suffer" and European Commission joined "intellectual" forces with IAE and came up with a plan:

IEA: Drive And Fly Less, Work From Home To Cut Reliance On Russia

Here is the summary.

Excellent. Once Masha and the Bear are defeated and EU core nations begin to stink to heavens due to not taking proper showers, full victory over Russia will be declared. Somebody posted in the discussion thread the video of Alex Christoforou lamenting EU committing a suicide, but the issue here is extremely simple--it is not some "weak Scholz" or just "elites", truth is, these are Europeans themselves, especially this so called "middle class", who made sure that people like von der Leyen or Macron are kept in place to finish off the European Civilization. Just watch France, which will finish herself off on April 24 (in three days) and the deal will be sealed. Not that it would have been much different if Le Pen would have won. Not really.

The United States gets its lunch consisting of EU and its industries but that too doesn't change much since the United States suddenly discovers that it barely has enough for itself, especially in terms of what matters the most--energy--and even coming trashing of Democrats at mid-terms changes very little in terms of overall national economic and political health, because the realities on the ground in Ukraine are such that the US made a very wrong bet. It is not surprising, American "elites" are as incompetent and ignorant as their European counterparts.

Per Azov Steel--good decision by Kremlin. Not only Russia saves the lives of her soldiers but makes sure that somebody inside the plant is (are) convinced by hunger, thirst and the onset of Kubler-Ross paradigm to come out and surrender. Or die. Not only Mariupol is liberated but it is the fact that it was the most heavily armed and trained grouping of VSU and Nazi brigades which was supposed to repeat Stalingrad which was annihilated. The plan for defense of this festung was developed in Pentagon and, naturally, it failed. Somebody is hiding there, somebody interesting. Who could this be, hmm? I wonder. Will this or those hiding there commit a suicide in order to not surrender to those nasty Rosskies or will they decide that they may have a chance to be "exchanged" into their native countries? We'll see. It is getting curioser and curioser.

Time For Suicide Watch?

I often, when speaking about a baneful influence of financial capitalism on real economy, use Boeing's example as an impossibility to kill the company which is more, way more, than a money machine for its shareholders--it is a national treasure. Well, I might have been very premature in my conclusions. Evidently, somebody desperately tries to do just that--to make sure that Boeing never recovers from the failure of its B-737 Max aircraft. Now, get this:
PARIS (Reuters) - Boeing Co engineers are reducing the scope and duration of certain costly physical tests used to certify the planemaker’s new aircraft, according to industry sources and regulatory officials. But the strategy could be at risk if regulators and U.S. lawmakers probing two deadly Boeing plane crashes require even more rigorous safety tests before certifying new aircraft as passenger-worthy.As Boeing kicks off the year-long flight testing process on its new 777X, its engineers will cut hours off airborne testing by using computer models to simulate flight conditions, and then present the results to the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as part of the basis for certification, according to two people with direct knowledge of the strategy.
My first question is--what kind of sick joke is that? It is sick especially against the background of a catastrophic loss of contracts for Boeing due to 737 Max and 787 issues. The inevitable question thus is: are they doing it on purpose? I can imagine how Airbus is joyfully rubbing its hands and Russia, certainly, has a laugh, especially when one sees how MC-21 several test beds do not leave the sky while conducting an extremely vigorous flight testing. One is literally forced to wonder what is going on there? No computer modelling will ever substitute realistic flight testing and will be able to completely predict all contingencies which may arise in such a complex machine as aircraft, especially with the relatively short historic record of composites becoming crucial load-bearing parts such as wings--see B-787 and MC-21 who have carbon-fiber wings. I can only shake my head in disbelief. Is it time for putting Boeing and its commercial aircraft division on suicide watch? But, I guess profit, in the end, trumps safety, as long as shareholders are happy.

In related news, European Commission, who operates, as most Western bureaucracies, outside causalities-driven universe, are complaining that some Import Substitution (a euphemism for Re-industrialization of Russia) measures by Russia "contradict" Russia's international "obligations" (in Russian). Russia is close second after China in EC's report as a country with the most trade barriers. Well, I think Russia certainly does a shitty job here because she should not follow but lead China as the nation with the highest number of trade barriers for European goods, many of which have been already pushed out of Russian market and have no future on it, due to Russian manufacturers enjoying those commercial benefits. What did those maroons (c) in Brussels, or Strasbourg, or wherever they exist, expect? That Russia, being assaulted by European sanctions non-stop, will beg? Again, Europe decided to play this game in 2013 in Ukraine and now whines that it is hurting her? I feel it is just the start. As I stated for years: Russian-European relations should be reduced economically only to the most basic trade: such as hydrocarbons from Russia, if Europe decides to buy them, plus very few other, mostly high-tech fields, while culturally--new Iron Curtain looks increasingly desirable. European "values" smell with decay and death of a culture, a real one. That is why I always said that Russia should not return to useless BS chamber of Parliament Assembly of Europe. Europe wanted Ukraine and Poland drive the agenda there (naturally a psychotically Russophobic one), let Europe deal with that. Ah, financial contributions--well, why should Russia pay a single Euro to this chamber of imbeciles. Stopping payments was a good step for Russia. Modern Europe and Russia are incompatible on a fundamental level.

So, this is my short take on some Monday's headlines. But, Boeing certainly takes the prize--it is both technological, economic and, in the end, political suicide in progress. But then again, it is a microcosm of modern America--self-destructing, ungovernable and desperate. Living in a computer generated world.

Pepe Escobar About Revolution.

Once in a blue moon an indispensable book comes out making a clear case for sanity in what is now a post-MAD world. That’s the responsibility carried by “The (Real) Revolution in Military Affairs,” by Andrei Martyanov (Clarity Press), arguably the most important book of 2019.

Saker's Review.
The above summary does not do justice to Martyanov’s truly seminal book. I can only say that I consider this book as an absolutely indispensable “must read” for every person in the USA who loves his/her country and for every person who believes that wars, especially nuclear ones, must be avoided at all costs.

Asia Times About The Book

Asia Times About The Book
In Losing Military Supremacy, his latest, groundbreaking book, crack Russian military-naval analyst Andrei Martyanov deconstructs in detail how, “the United States faces two nuclear and industrial superpowers, one of which fields a world-class armed forces. If the military-political, as opposed to merely economic, alliance between Russia and China is ever formalized – this will spell the final doom for the United States as a global power.”
