Oh, Please!

Some German globalist shill spewing BS to war criminals in WaPo. Cry me a river, moron--your country, Germany, is over and it has been like that for a while now.

Roderich Kiesewetter, a member of the German parliament from Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s center-right Christian Democratic Union, said the exclusion of Europe and Ukraine from the meeting in Alaska meant the end of the West, in the sense of a collective alliance of the United States, European Union nations and NATO allies. “‘The West’ as an emotional or ethical term — it’s over,” Kiesewetter said. “That’s my main concern.” His other fear, he added, is the fate of Ukrainians.

A fucking Nazi whose country played a critical role in killing West in the 20th Century, who still cannot overcome an acute anal disturbance over Nazism being rolled back to where it belonged--destroyed streets of Berlin. Just take a look at the background of this German "officer":

After passing the German Abitur examination in 1982, Kiesewetter joined the German military artillery forces. From 1983 until 1986 he studied economics and organizational sciences at the Bundeswehr University Munich and the University of Texas at Austin. From 1995 to 1997 he attended the German General Staff Course at the Führungsakademie der Bundeswehr in Hamburg, being awarded the Heusinger prize for the best German graduate.

He should have been awarded the Heisenberg Uncertainty Prize for being simultaneously a "military" officer and being a moron in military affairs. We know what they "teach" in all those NATO military "courses". Yet, here we are--they squeal. I like it. Read my lips--Europe is irrelevant.

It Seems Completely Off-Topic ...

... but it is relevant to overall trajectory of this blog and, in general, my and my family's American journey, with the United States being our home for a very long time now and us being deeply saddened by the decline of the country. Yet, I had a conversation in December last year with my very close friends (and naval academy's classmate) who were visiting and we discussed, however briefly, their purchase of Thai condo--they had two options, Turkey and Thailand, and they bought condo in Thailand. I responded to them on their desire to eventually retire there that they will not find real peace and enjoyment as permanent residents, because it is a completely alien culture. Here is the funny twist, American culture in a larger sense is totally comprehensible by any Russian who gets around the US and who knows ins and outs of it.

That is why we told them that we are fully integrated, there are some things we don't like about America, there are many which we love deeply. And here is this very good video which talks about specifically Thailand and retirement there and which makes not only outstanding economic argument but a profound cultural one without offending rich Thai culture in any way.

It also corresponds extremely well with many westerners, including Americans, who do migrate to Russia and then find a huge common ground with Russian culture--in the end, culture is a behavioral matrix, based on values. I strongly suggest you watch this video which provides, in my mind, outstanding commentary but also underscores, by implication, a treason combined West committed against itself. 82% do not "survive" Thailand--I am not surprised. Watch the whole of a video.

It Is A Well-Known Fact...

... that Obama's uncle liberated Auschwitz, while Western Allies captured Berlin.

Translation: MOSCOW, April 18 – RIA Novosti. The Russian Embassy in Berlin received a notice that it is undesirable for Russian officials to participate in commemorative events on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the liberation of concentration camp prisoners, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.

There is no need to discuss Zakharova's response, because I write in this blog for 10 years now about unrelenting rewriting and falsifying of history of WW II by the West. E.g. as was noted on many occasions before, professionally respected by me Colonel Macgregor continues to spread what amounts to Nazi propaganda about the Red Army and USSR in WW II having absolutely no background in real history of WW II other than cherry picking dubious (Norman Davis, anyone) sources and anecdotal "evidence" from whatever the environment of Baltic or Ukrainian people he grew up with. I am on record--Russia must repatriate remains of Red Army soldiers buried anywhere in Europe, especially Germany, and remove the monument in Treptower Park and bring it back to Russia. The generation of Western Allies who fought heroically in WW II is pretty much gone now and there is no need in trying to convince the West about who and how defeated Nazism.

Small minority of Europeans who know the truth makes no difference whatsoever in public opinion and they will continue to know anyway because this is what normal people do. The rest, who cares--it is over for the West anyway and the trajectory to oblivion is well defined. The break between Russia and the West is final and, as was pointed out by me on many occasions, a traditional Russophobia of Europeans, always near the surface, was released by Washington and as this proverbial genie it is now out of the bottle. This is THE point--these are not just "elites", this is the majority of population. Modern Western "values" are incompatible with Russian values which are effectively Christian conservative values and NO, so called American "Christian conservatives" are not really conservatives in their outlook.

A move away from conducting financial transactions through Western payment systems, including SWIFT, is vital for Russia and its trading partners, the head of the country’s second-largest lender has said. Speaking on Thursday at the Data Fusion 2024 conference, VTB CEO Andrey Kostin called for the promotion of digital financial settlements in Russia and allied nations. Such a step would end the dominance of the dollar and gain full sovereignty in the financial sector, he claimed. “SWIFT has announced plans to carry out digital payments soon, but we need to kill SWIFT in our settlements, we need to completely get away from it and involve our partners in this as well,” the banking executive insisted, highlighting major work that is being done by the Bank of Russia to achieve the goal. According to Kostin, VTB is currently working on a pilot project to bring the digital ruble into general use, including in cross-border payments.

This is just one sign out of many which testify to an ongoing decoupling of Russia from West's political and economic institutions. Cultural will follow, because true European culture has been already largely transplanted onto Russian soil. Classic and best of modern European culture lives and thrives in Russia. The rest is trash and shouldn't be allowed in. The Iron Curtain is in order and it is Russia now who begins to erect it.

Brilliant Michael Brenner...

... on the history of Palestine and starting at 11:00 he hits the nail on the head of America's evangelicals obsessed with Israel and Jews in Holy Land--in other words, America's so called Christian Zionism.

The damage evangelicals did to America is immense, and now they should see the results of their fanatical Zionism each day--what now has become an all out genocide of Palestinian population in Gaza. But then again, these are Christians in name only--in reality they are Old Testament eschatological death cult.

As Brenner speaks bluntly--the West is in the state of a collective psychopathology. Every single tenet of morality, right and wrong universal for much of the world is being annihilated through mass hysteria.

Psychopaths in Newsweek salivate on what amounts to nothing special, pretty regular yield nuclear weapon, but this neocon rag gets high just talking about it.

So, if Pentagon thinks that it can use gravity bombs on Moscow, they surely have to take basic classes on modern air defenses. Russians will respond with a single (Russia has more) RS-28 Sarmat with 16 hyper-sonic Avangards with up to 2 megatons yield. A single Avangard will be enough to flatten Manhattan. Unlike the carriers of gravity bombs, one cannot intercept Avangard. So, here we have essentially WW II technology with nuclear ordnance trying to announce how it can do against the technology of the XXI century. It is madness, the fanatical zeal which is being infused into combined West while it collapses. Here is one such specimen:

Meanwhile in backward Russia:

Emperor Alexander III SSBN is getting ready to join the fleet. It is the seventh in Borei-class strategic missile submarines and the fouth of Borei-A (pr. 955A) SSBNs. Five more of these stat-of-the-art subs to go. As Nikolai Patrushev stressed:

This deterrent and the most advanced conventional forces are two required elements for keeping bat shit crazy fanatics in the West in check

Per recent attack and "sunk" ship (corvette)--as was the case with "destroyed" submarine recently, one of the corvettes which are being built (in other words, non-functional ship) at Kerch shipbuilding plant was damaged (in Russian). Some fragments of one of the shot down Stormshadow/Scalp missile also fell into the dry dock--no damage, no casualties. 13 out 15 missiles shot down, 13/15=87% combat effectiveness of the Air Defense in the area. It will get even better. I wonder how French or British will do if 15 Kinzhals or even 3M14s would fly into Saint Nazaire or Govan (Scotland)? We all know that all of them will reach targets. So, here is your primer for Sunday.

Remember Your Name.

I know it is Friday and it should be fun. But it is difficult to do it each Friday. Here is the movie which will not be shown in the West. Even in Poland which participated in shooting this movie in 1974 and it was titled in Polish Zapamiętaj Imię Swoje, Remember Your Name in Russian. It is very loosely based on the real story of Russian child being, among many hundreds of thousands, shipped to Auschwitz. Yes, it wasn't just Jewish death camp. Here is one of the Slavic girls who would have been lost in posterity if not for Nazis documenting every single prisoner in their camps.

She was a Polish girl, Czeslawa Kwoka. One of the 139,000 Poles removed from their villages in 1939 and later in 1942 deported  to Auschwitz.

She was merely a prisoner # 26947 captured here on photo three months before she died in concentration camp. She is beaten here, and here she is terrified. She will be beaten again after photo-session. Like many Slavs she was considered untermensch. Needless to say that many Ukrainians, like Yaroslav Hunka who was met with standing ovation in Canada's Parliament, left their mark not on the battlefield, where their SS formations have been utterly demolished by the Red Army, but primarily as guards in concentration camps, mass executioners of Soviet population, watch the movie Come and See, including mass murder of Jews and Red Army POWs, such as Babi Yar horror. You can get to Babi Yar memorial in Kiev, by following avenues of Roman Shukhevych and Stepan Bandera--both cadre Nazi officers and genocidal murderers. Just in case you doubt it--Babi Yar here is marked as Babin Yar. Remarkably, the US Embassy is just about a kilometer away from this. Very symbolic.

In general, combined West is oblivious, for a number of reasons, not least through well developed Holocaust Industry by Hollywood, to the fate of Russian and other Slavic children. I don't believe that what passes for Western "intellectuals" today can process all of that nightmare--they have no intellectual and moral foundation for that. And here comes this movie which is almost as powerful as Come and See. Sadly it is only in Russian. For those who want to watch, here is the link. But this all shows the side of SMO, which Westerners in general, with some notable exceptions, many of who read this blog, are incapable to understand--SMO now acquired almost a religious character, and some information provided here may help to understand why. I cannot convey now the scope of the reaction in Russia to Canada's infamy. Russians have now a complete proof of evil which combined West represents today.

I disagree with otherwise brilliantly eloquent George Galloway, Western public will not react in any way to what have happened last weekend in Ottawa. It is pure statistics, the sample size--Allies  lost fewer KIAs combined in WW II than Leningrad lost civilians and military during the Siege. It is just the matter of quantitative impact which is in the foundation of historic memory. Modern Western establishment doesn't have any, together with morality. No Canadian, American or British suffered slavery, torture, inhumane treatment and death in numbers which ensure proper societal reaction to an absolute evil which Nazism represents. Some voices of consciousness from the West are very few. But then again, in the US military history of WW II has been written by defeated German generals and SS with Abwehr officers. Make your own conclusions this Friday evening.

From Soggy Helsinki.

Waiting to board our plane in hotel. Evidently Finnish hotels are designed and built with people of 100 pounds' weight and the height of 4'5" in mind. I, as you may expect, am neither. So, after Moscow and St.Petersburg Helsinki looks rather... timid. But I am happy to leave for calmer and smaller (in urban sense) pastures. Metropolis living is not for me. Especially such monsters as Moscow and St. Petersburg. Now to our goats, so to speak.

The butcher's bill for 404 grows, it is simply now a daily summary of Ukie bodies and looking at militarily illiterate psychos in Biden's Admin dreaming to "mobilize" whatever is left of 404 male, primarily 16-17 year old kids and 60+ people, yes, this is how they think. As I already stated--I was stunned by military illiteracy of not only political class in the West, but by NATO military top brass. Everything what is known about wars of the XX century and modern and future wars has been lost on them. It is surreal to observe people who pontificate non-stop on "multi-domain operations" while they do not know basic facts--forget math and physics of war--about WW II and modern (and future) weapon systems. This, not some PR BS matters in serious practical geopolitics.

When they try to portray the "battle for Rabotino"--a hamlet with pre-war "population" of a whopping 480 people--and which doesn't exist physically anymore--as some kind of "battle", it is difficult to explain to them that the piece of land which used to be Rabotino is "defended" by a few SSO who sit there and guide Russian artillery at VSU forces each-time they try to "enter" this pile of rubble--a classic "fire sack". This is ooh the "tactics" any Soviet kid knew in 5-6th grade. But then again, when one's Field Manuals and Doctrines are written for beating the crap from generally defenseless people what do you expect? Right, Zapp Brannigan's way of military thinking.

This all is so surreal that one begins to ask the question if they really teach anything real war related in NATO military "academies". That brings us to the issue of cadre officers. This topic needs a separate and in depth treatment. Larch sent me a recent piece by Andrei Ilnitsky (yes, in many photos he does look like Kevin Costner) and here is what this graduate of the Academy of General Staff wrote in his piece titled Induced Degradation of the World (in Russian):

Доминировавший долгие годы тезис о том, что в управлении страной должны быть интеллектуалы-технократы, — неточен, а в нынешних условиях цивилизационного противостояния с Западом — вреден. России нужны профессионалы с четким ценностным профилем служения Отечеству.

Translation: The thesis that dominated for many years that technocratic intellectuals should be in charge of the country is inaccurate, and in the current conditions of civilizational confrontation with the West is harmful. Russia needs professionals with a clear value profile of serving the Fatherland.

I may not agree with the entirety of otherwise good piece, but this is spot on. Remarkably, this also applies to combined West if it wants to survive. Without it--it is over. For Europe it already happened, for the US a slim chance remains. Remarkably, Larry touches on one of the major aspects of the issue--MSM.

We are now in an era where I believe that the mainstream media, especially TV and Cable, are largely irrelevant. Yet the tradition of using those platforms is still firmly embedded in the establishment mentality. Politicians raise tons of money, or try to, just to buy time on conventional TV and Cable that a diminishing number of people are watching. The action has shifted to podcasts, X and other social media platforms. That is what the vast majority of Americans are watching. Most politicians do not understand nor comprehend the shift that has taken place. There are exceptions. Barack Obama picked up on it early. Donald Trump is the king of social media. And Vivek Ramaswamy gets in. The rest are still welded to the legacy media and foolishly spend money on TV ads that people skip if they can.

In the end, the blame game started by the US MSM about VSU "not following Pentagon advice" is a kindergarten ploy to shift the blame for a catastrophe for NATO towards VSU generals who do NOT in effect have real operational control over what remains of VSU and are fully subservient to the will of Washington. I guess Nuland and Sullivan need some basic military education, forget about Operations--too complex for them, a lot of math and history. So, here we are today. The admission by one of the West's generals recently about effectiveness of Russian Air Defense of 92-98%, in terms of combat aircraft it is 100% (in Russian) sends shivers down the spine of NATO pilots. And this is even before they encounter Russian Air Force which is world class. Just basic facts. I guess those "backward" Soviets knew their craft when creating the most advanced and networked air defense in the world and made a bet on the industrial might of the nation. Should I quote Lieutenant-General Klokotov again? I guess not. Too much to unpack, especially before flying back home. And I really miss my Pacific Northwest, its magnificent mountains and ocean.

Generally Speaking...

... the music by Ovchinnikov and the whole Natasha's ball from Bondarchuk's immortal War and Peace are unrivaled even today and are even incorporated into a number of versions of Russian national anthem. Of course, who can forget this.

Generally speaking, all those assholes who try to stick into this immortal sequence by Bondarchuk (not his gift-less son, of course) Leonard Cohen's or even Shostakovitch's Waltz--NO. It will always remain Ovchinnikov's waltz. But I have been on this issue before, but Russians, evidently are not getting the message from State Department and European Commission, continue to stick to this heterosexual heresy and decide that military men of high culture and beautiful women, somehow, get together just fine.

Some foreign comments are attached just to give some introspective. Of course, Evegnii Doga's waltz adds to a drama, but the best comment in Russian is this:

Это то что мы должны защитить от запада

Translation: this is what we have to protect from the West.

But if that hasn't been enough, here we have this thing happening in Sevastopol.

Yes, Big Sevastopol officers' ball. Good God, how dare they not to invite all those trannies, LGBTQ+ and whatever the next big thing is. How "backward" the whole idea is of a military man defending his wife and family in the way of arms is alien to them. They cannot take it in Washington, London and Kiev--everything they know in their lives is ugly, non-presentable, their women (and men) are whores not even capable to graduate to high level escorts, and the only thing they can do is hate, their "scholars" and "strategists" are a dime a dozen and they cannot even grasp what is happening around them.

This ball took place in 2021, I am positive it will revive itself after the conclusion of SMO, and the life will just move on, it usually does. Normal people naturally gravitate to beautiful things. For the rest--there is always a pinnacle of the American "democracy".

Yep, there are many who will vote for this again. Let them enjoy...

Who Will Take The Part...

... from Russian side during Xi's visit. While losers from AP bemoan Xi's visit to Moscow:

They fail to understand, which is natural for Western office plankton due to it being uncultured ignoramuses, that it is, actually, the other way around. And here comes a bit of a framework. This is not me talking, this is real Sinologist:

Translation: RUDN University professor Andrei Vinogradov is sure that the United States does not want to fight China, but creates the institutions that are needed in the transition to a multipolar world. “They cannot be called fully confrontational, but they will counteract Chinese influence in the Indo-Pacific region,” the sinologist explains. At the same time, Vinogradov believes that the PRC does not have many options for an answer. The arms race is more beneficial to the Americans than to the Chinese, who must solve the problem of modernizing the economy. “Beijing does not want to repeat the experience of the Soviet Union, but the States put it at a disadvantage. China could oppose AUKUS if not its own alliance, then at least military-political cooperation with strong players. It is possible to agree with Moscow, but in the current situation there is a risk, that it will hurt,” the expert notes. Be that as it may, the United States and its allies will continue to surround the Chinese with military blocs. And those will be forced to pursue the foreign policy course that they have been adhering to since the early 1980s: to represent the interests of developing countries and advocate for the peaceful settlement of conflicts. For now, Beijing has no other options, Vinogradov concludes.

I largely agree with Vinogradov here, with some minor caveats, and I write about it for years. Some of those things I wrote and continue to write often are met with disdain and disbelief by many enthusiastic supporters of China but I will repeat it again: China is still not in the same league militarily as US and Russia, granted that the US is in the process of departing from largely self-proclaimed military superiority. Still, China has a long way to go here. And that is where those first signals started to be sent out by Russia, such as yesterday with Konstantin Biyurulin of KRTV articulating the readiness of KRTV to transfer hypersonic technologies to friendly countries. Now Ria published the list and it is a peculiar one for special meeting in a limited capacity. There will be meeting in an expanded capacity too.

Translation: MOSCOW, March 17 - RIA Novosti. Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, Head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Head of Roscosmos Yuri Borisov and Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Dmitry Shugaev will take part in the first round of Russian-Chinese Presidential Assistant for International Affairs Yuri Ushakov said. "We have a large representation planned, taking into account the importance of the visit ... Negotiations in a narrow format - Medvedev, Lavrov, Chernyshenko, Shoigu are supposed to participate in them, I will participate, Nabiullina, Shugaev, Borisov and Ambassador Morgulov. The circle of participants allows us to suggest what topics can be touched upon," Ushakov told reporters.

Ushakov is correct--easy to understand once you see these names: Shoigu, Borisov and Shugaev. Those are movers and shakers of Russia's Armed Forces and Military-Industrial Complex and I can guarantee you that in Xi's shopping list there will be many very advanced toys present which China will need to push back on the US in general, and AUKUS in particular. Those toys will also serve as a deterrent. It is absolutely clear that China will ask for hypersonics and for aviation. Now, will China ask for S-500? Recall, that India stated that she will be the first recipient of this complex. China DOES need Russia's support and it will be fascinating to hear and see the results of this undeniably monstrously important summit in Moscow.  Per space--yes, I am sure the commitment to new space station and Lunar permanent station will be confirmed.

It Wasn't Blunder...

... it was a Freudian slip.

Baerbock's "clarification" changes absolutely nothing in terms of reality. Combined West IS at war with Russia, and if not for Russia's ability to wipe combined West off the map, there would have been much larger involvement of the West in this war.

Now Pentagon officials reiterate:

The US would have no objections to Ukrainian forces striking targets inside Crimea with American-supplied weapons, a senior defense official said on Friday. Dr Celeste Wallander, Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs, was asked whether Washington supports Kiev in seizing Crimea, or at least in striking Russian targets there. The peninsula overwhelmingly voted to become part of Russia in 2014 following a Western-backed coup in Kiev. Speaking at the Center for a New American Security, Wallander reiterated that the US “supports Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty over its internationally recognized borders, and that includes Crimea.” With this in mind, the official argued that Kiev “has the right to defend every inch of its territory.” As long as Ukraine “identifies operational value in targeting Russian forces on Ukrainian territory… we don’t have objections and do not seek to limit Ukrainian military operations to achieve their objectives.”

Well, for Ph.D in political "science" Wallander checks all boxes required for ignoramuses trained only in giving grandiose statements, and, as I am on record non-stop, it is impossible to explain to American political "scientist" that those proverbial 800 US bases around the world are not just bases--they are fat indefensible targets. But then again, Crimea was part of Russia before the United States existed. But then again, generally uncultured and badly educated Washington swamp creatures never heard of Treaty of Küçük Kaynarca. You cannot blame them, in the educational system which teaches US political "elite" that Jesus Christ was from Pennsylvania and that the US defeated Nazis, it is not surprising to see the combination of arrogance and ignorance. Those are not accidents--those are requirements for modern US "elites". I do not exaggerate, I have some anecdotal evidence of sheer ignorance of people of import. And I am talking about shocking levels of ignorance. But I repeat myself.

RT Produced Yet Another MGIMO Graduate Attempting "Analysis".

Make no mistake, I have a deep respect for people who study foreign counties and have a command of their native language. Especially if such a country is China--a giant of a country with a very complex culture and a gigantic economy. In fact, by sheer size--by far the largest economy in the world. When speaking about China most of the time I defer to Sinologists, except for one field and this one is military. RT, presents us with such a Sinologist like Ivan Zuenko. I don't doubt that Zuenko knows China as much as it is possible to know her at all, but being a MGIMO "product", and MGIMO started its intellectual and academic decline from its former Soviet glory days (when being a diplomat was not only prestigious but also meant the access to Western style of consumption) already in 1990s, Zuenko suffers from the same illness as his Western equivalents--speaking on issues he has no idea about. Today, when Russians have access to any consumer goods starting from jeans to cars and travel extensively, while many Russians make more, much more than even top Russian diplomats, the shiny image of MGIMO faded away. Moreover, today large swaths of this institution ranging from professors to students are very much the followers of globalist ideology and pseudo-academic framework required for perpetuation of globalist views.

Zuenko comes across as such a "product" and while I would certainly defer to him when talking about Chinese trade, consumer economy etc., I can immediately state that, as many people with the backgrounds such as his, he doesn't understand two things:

1. The combined West in general, and the United States in particular;

2. As any person with such a background he shouldn't be commenting on geopolitical issues, because they are direct derivatives of military and real economy power.

Yet, Zuenko writes in RT yesterday, opening with Captain Obvious and "water is wet" kind of thing in his article:

OK, while absolutely trivial and self-evident, it makes a preposterous point known in Russian saying as: if grandma had balls, she would have been a grandpa(c), albeit in the modern West, she/he/their could have been many a splendor thing. But my point stands and in Zuenko we encounter here not only a bad student of practical (geo)politics formulated by Bismark as "the art of possible, of attainable--the art of the next best". And it is here that Zuenko's pedigree as a civilian and badly informed person begins to shine, because I have news for him: Russia would invade Ukraine even when NOT having China as an alternative market, or, for that matter, most of Asia.

But this "scenario" is a classic Spherical Horse in Vacuum scenario which could have been produced only by the person who has zero understanding of national security issues of Russia and has no grasp of military balance formation whatsoever.  Not surprising, MGIMO as any humanities higher institution in Russia "imported" much of the fraudulent political "science" methods in the wake of Soviet collapse and if you want to see a collection of ignorant and globalist-leaning people, you can take a look at Valdai club. So, even in the opening statement Zuenko makes a horrendous mistake because he has no tools for understanding (forget grasping and internalizing) the issue of Russia's security concerns beyond, now traditional, poli-sci platitudes. He reiterates his grossly illiterate point:

If China had not adopted a benevolent neutrality towards the Russian military operation, had not continued to buy Russian goods and thereby provided a reliable strategic rear, the continuation of the offensive would have been objectively impossible.
And the question one needs to ask is who told Mr.Zuenko that it "would have been objectively impossible", considering the fact that nobody in MGIMO knows how military doctrines are written and how Russia conducts what was always known as военное строительство (military buildup, construction). Zuenko, obviously, has no clue about it--you need a very serious military and technological graduate degree--plus Zuenko has issues understanding real economy and, of course, some memory issues, especially regarding Vladimir Putin's 2007 Munich Speech in which he threw the gauntlet and here we are today. But I am sure Zuenko knows  what is "objectively" possible and what is not better than the President of Russia and General Staff.

But then he gets to "plans". I am not going to discuss China's feelings about SMO, I am sure Zuenko does know it better than me, but what Zuenko doesn't know when he writes it:

In practice, a global NATO is already in the making, and the US-led military bloc’s Madrid summit in late June is the best proof of this. For the first time in NATO’s history, the Pacific states – Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea – were invited; actions were intensified to form ‘quasi-alliances’ such as the QUAD (the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue between the US, Australia, Japan and India), AUKUS (the trilateral pact between the US, Britain, and Australia), and the Partners in the Blue Pacific (PBP: AUKUS plus Japan and New Zealand). In contrast to the ‘classical NATO’, which has long been perceived in China as a vestige of the Cold War and intra-Western conflicts, these alliances have an unambiguous anti-Chinese orientation.

While talk about "alliances" is all fine and dandy, what this "researcher" doesn't get, that, as an example, is that SMO completely reshaped global balance of power and no matter what "feelings" Chinese might have, even they admit that they look at Russia as a much more serious military power than they are, and whatever those alliance are, ambiguous or unambiguous against China, Zuenko should take some courses, his "research" is not going to help him, he simply is uneducated for this task, in military balance and must understand two things about combined West: combined West CANNOT defeat Russia militarily with or without China, but combined West does have some chance against China if China is "abandoned" by Russia. Chinese know this, Zuenko doesn't.

As I already wrote and spoke on AUKUS--it is an indicator of West's dramatically declining power, hence the desperate desire to exploit last decisive advantage over China by the US--it is its world-class and dramatically superior to PLAN's submarine force. They can do it by cutting Indian Ocean SLOCs where up to 30% of China import of resources and energy goes through. In the nearest future, 10-15 years, China will not catch up to Russia or US in some key military technologies which dictate operational and strategic realities, which completely overturn Zuenko's worldview in regards to Russia-China axis. Should Zuenko had a clue, he would have been attentive to Vladimir Putin's sensational admission of Russia "helping" China in building SPRN. Real military-intel professionals around the world gasped, because this admission alone spoke volumes about roles distribution in Chinese-Russian alliance and the list where China is yet to get equal with Russia in military-industrial field is huge. Zuenko doesn't know this list, or even if knew, he wouldn't have understood its significance, and that is why his statement about "being objectively impossible" is nothing more than a hot air by a product of once proud institution. China didn't "adopt the benevolent position", she simply had NO Choice. Zuenko is not an expert in anything but in some aspects of Chinese politics, and that is why he should have avoided parading himself as an amateur, especially when talking about practical geopolitics. He would also help himself if dedicated at least some time studying what modern West (and US) are. But it is too much to ask.

"It Is Not My Fault"(c).

Excellent introduction into narcissists' reaction when they get figured out.

But while human world and the world of geopolitics are distinct, geopolitics is driven not by geography but human reaction to geography and other aspects of natural surrounding which do provide nations and alliance with characters relatable to human behavior. Needless to say, in this excellent intro to narcissists' losing control over their victims present character, that of the losing control narcissist, of the combined West absolutely shines through.

In related news, Welt in Germany opened "second front" today against... and you have guessed it.. Masha and the Bear.

Translation: The animated series "Masha and the Bear" is a Russian export hit. The plot is packed with Russian culture. But is Masha also Putinesque, as has already been claimed? And is the bear propaganda? If you look closely, you won't get rid of a queasy feeling.

Generally speaking, they don't know how else to make Russia "suffer" and European Commission joined "intellectual" forces with IAE and came up with a plan:

IEA: Drive And Fly Less, Work From Home To Cut Reliance On Russia

Here is the summary.

Excellent. Once Masha and the Bear are defeated and EU core nations begin to stink to heavens due to not taking proper showers, full victory over Russia will be declared. Somebody posted in the discussion thread the video of Alex Christoforou lamenting EU committing a suicide, but the issue here is extremely simple--it is not some "weak Scholz" or just "elites", truth is, these are Europeans themselves, especially this so called "middle class", who made sure that people like von der Leyen or Macron are kept in place to finish off the European Civilization. Just watch France, which will finish herself off on April 24 (in three days) and the deal will be sealed. Not that it would have been much different if Le Pen would have won. Not really.

The United States gets its lunch consisting of EU and its industries but that too doesn't change much since the United States suddenly discovers that it barely has enough for itself, especially in terms of what matters the most--energy--and even coming trashing of Democrats at mid-terms changes very little in terms of overall national economic and political health, because the realities on the ground in Ukraine are such that the US made a very wrong bet. It is not surprising, American "elites" are as incompetent and ignorant as their European counterparts.

Per Azov Steel--good decision by Kremlin. Not only Russia saves the lives of her soldiers but makes sure that somebody inside the plant is (are) convinced by hunger, thirst and the onset of Kubler-Ross paradigm to come out and surrender. Or die. Not only Mariupol is liberated but it is the fact that it was the most heavily armed and trained grouping of VSU and Nazi brigades which was supposed to repeat Stalingrad which was annihilated. The plan for defense of this festung was developed in Pentagon and, naturally, it failed. Somebody is hiding there, somebody interesting. Who could this be, hmm? I wonder. Will this or those hiding there commit a suicide in order to not surrender to those nasty Rosskies or will they decide that they may have a chance to be "exchanged" into their native countries? We'll see. It is getting curioser and curioser.

It Is Hot And Humid.

In San Juan and I am trying to stay on top of the events. It is not easy, considering the fact that since our arrival yesterday we were involved non-stop in pre-wedding proceedings which we have to. Anyhow. It is a different world we live in now. And since I am limited in my communications I can only suggest to you guys to get sitreps from the list of my blogs, especially by Andrey Raevsky and MoA. In related news, Patrick Armstrong, who, like me, ended up in the hotel when the real shock and awe unfolded, noted:

Being in a hotel, I have the opportunity to waste my time watching CNN. I am truly fascinated by how completely clueless the so-called experts, generals, politicians, that they have on are about this. They have no understanding of the Russian motives, they have no conception of what is actually going on, and they can’t see what is in front of their faces. My personal favourite is the US senator that says Russia is running out of food because it’s a communist country and therefore needs to conquer more agricultural land. This is a man whose office is bigger than your house, has a staff of dozens with a huge budget and that’s what he thinks is going on. The new new world order was born two days ago.

They ARE that ignorant and incompetent. Including top military brass who was spoiled rotten by the "lessons" of Gulf Wars and carpet bombing of a third rate Iraqi military. Let them watch and learn, hopefully. But I don't hold my breath. One thing, however, is clear--the United States got itself Europe. Good luck to Europe. But combined West has nothing left but to admit that it sure as hell "lost" Russia which was in the mode of breaking off with the West for a while. If anyone ever doubted it--read today's response by none other than Kremlin's liberal-designated Dmitry Medvedev. So, for now that is my word, I need to survive the wedding and I'll post as much as I can if it will be warranted.

The A-Ha Moment...

 with George F. Kennan.

Well, many don't even know Kennan's clarification of his policy of "containment". He stressed that he meant an ideological containment, the US wanted a military one. In the end, Kennan and his experience were totally ignored and the new crop of the American "diplomats"--badly educated, ignorant but high on the American exceptionalism and influence of ethno-religious lobbies in D.C., decided that they knew better. They didn't. The results of this ignorant arrogance we all observe today. Nor should we forget that Kennan was not always that benign either, but at least he knew about Russia way more than modern Department of State whose situational awareness in this regard is nearly non-existent. Ideology rules.

Well, first "results" of Russia sanctions are becoming already known:

OK, Russians know that. Then, this piece of news, obviously, explains some other economic "engines" behind current massive geopolitical realignment:

The oil market will find it impossible to replace Russia’s oil, which accounts for 10 percent of global supply, Dmitry Marinchenko, senior director for natural resources and commodities at Fitch, told Russian media on Tuesday. The escalation of the Russia-Ukraine crisis could send oil prices to above $100 per barrel, according to Fitch’s expert. Early on Tuesday, oil prices surged close to $100 a barrel, with Brent Crude hitting a new seven-year high of $99 before easing to $97 per barrel after Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized late on Monday two separatist regions in eastern Ukraine and deployed troops there in the most serious escalation of the crisis yet.

You see? That explains why Russia not only anticipated but effectively sacrificed Nord Stream 2. In fact, Russia's reaction of disgust to Herr Scholz' attitudes towards war crimes committed by 404 in LDNR could have been this proverbial straw that broke camel's back. You cannot deal with these people, they have no consciousness and morals and Russians are pretty good at understanding when any activity becomes the exercise in futility.

In seemingly unrelated news, Russia and Azerbaijan reached a landmark agreement today (in Russian) and signed joint declaration on Allied Relations. This event is much bigger than one may expect and is indicative of a process of consolidation of Russia's near abroad not only as markets but safe economic and political environment. In related news, Russia is removing her diplomats from Kiev, rightly so--shit is about to hit the fan in Ukraine in industrial quantities. For people to understand what modern Ukraine is, the analogy to Gulyaipole may help with understanding when viewed as a center of Mahno movement. Mahno being a euphemism for anarchy, fluid loyalties and robbery. You know, like modern day Ukraine.

Ah, OK. Moving Along, Moving Along.

Now its time for the Congress to shine, you know--combat veterans and military experts such as Ted Cruz (as an example) to lead the troops against nasty Russkies. But..

The US would not send troops into a conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Washington has said ahead of Thursday's summit between US President Joe Biden and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. However, Washington has pledged that it's prepared to “bolster” members of its NATO military bloc.“We do not know whether Putin has made a decision about further military escalation in Ukraine, but we do know he's putting in place the capacity to engage in such escalation should he decide to do so,” a senior Biden administration official told reporters in a background briefing on Monday, according to Reuters. The US is not seeking a scenario in which its military would be used in a conflict between Moscow and Kiev, but would be “prepared to bolster allies on NATO’s eastern flank,” the official is quoted as saying. The idea of Russian troops preparing for an “invasion” of Ukraine, replicated in mainstream media over the past few days, has been rubbished by the Kremlin.
I am not well versed in D.C. newspeak and don't quote me on the meaning of this "bolstering", but that may mean more US hardware sold to scared to shit "allies". Meanwhile Germany's very own Bild, obtained the "intelligence" on Russian "plan" to attack 404. Here it is.
You can read details of this incredible and daring operation by German journalists from Bild to obtain this secret Russian war-plan here (in German). The operation was not without losses, though. While pulling this secret Russian plan out of asses of Bild's editorial board a number of ass-holes have been damaged and required serious stitching because the size of this BS was too large even for experienced ass-holes from Bild. Hey, nobody said it will be easy to counter Russian aggression. Liberty needs sacrifice, you know.

But, generally, 404 is still not off the US and NATO hook and attempts to push 404 to suicide herself by means of attacking LDNR will continue. US needs war for many a domestic reason and the list of those is too long to post it here. Plus, the only thing US Congress can do is shake the air and issue threats to all those nasty unappreciative Russkies, Chinks, and other people whose bodily fluids are not as pure and as exceptional as those of Ted Cruz or any other member of Congress who loves to see US wrecking havoc in far away lands all in the name of democracy and overall well-being of humanity.

The US has announced a diplomatic boycott of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China. The White House said no official delegation would be sent to the Games because of concerns about China's human rights record. But it said US athletes could attend and would have the government's full support. China has previously said it will take "resolute countermeasures" in the event of a boycott. US President Joe Biden said last month that he was weighing up a diplomatic boycott of the event.

I was shocked. Shocked, I tell you, to learn that modern US has a diplomacy. You know, the art of negotiating, talking to other states, finding compromises, avoiding wars and things of this nature. Live and learn, what do you know, next thing you know they will tell you that that the United States has a competent POTUS.

On a more serious note, however, this whole thing is so grotesque that I do ask myself a question if those people in D.C. even grasp that they and the country they continue to destroy have become the world's laughing stock. I know most American politicians have neither principles nor sense of any honor or duty, only personal interests and lack of any real culture, but can they grasp this simple fact that for most people in the world who have any sense of decency they parade themselves and their country as jackasses and, what is worse for them, as complete sore losers. In fact, it is becoming downright embarrassing.

The whole combined West looks like a complete mental asylum which destroys everything of its former glorious self starting from own history and I don't see the end of this madness, not yet anyway. Or maybe there is none until everything which was good and decent is utterly destroyed and many millennia later (hopefully humanity will last that long) when passing by the exposition of the 21st century Western history in the Museum of Humanity, the guide will tell visitors: nothing to see here, move along, move along. And only the wax natural size figure of the 21st century Gender-fluid Social Justice Warrior with iPhone in its hand will follow with its wax eyes the group of museum goers disappearing in the doorway to a massive Humanity Achievements' hall where expositions to people who defeated the cancer, extended human life, flew to Mars and terraformed it, traveled to the outer reaches of galaxy, discovered new types of energy, stopped wars and wrote wonderful music and poetry, are located. The custodian of the museum, when vacuuming this wax figure in the end of the day will notice some sparkle in the corner of its eye, like a tear or a piece of a tinsel, and will think that it accidentally flew in from Humanity Achievements'  Hall during the celebration of achieving faster than light travel.
