Dreams In the End of Summer.

Not that it is not expected, it is fully expected.

I have news for Nehammer--there cannot be "European Solution" to anything, because Europe, with some few exceptions, is not a subject of modern geopolitics. We can discuss reasons for this state of the affairs in Europe until hell freezes over, but I am on record for years that EU is America's lunch, period. This is not to say that this will extend America's lifespan greatly, but that was the plan from the git go. I think EU leaders should concentrate on believing Ze's promises and act accordingly:

President Vladimir Zelensky said in his daily evening address on Sunday that Ukraine will recapture Donbass, which is now almost fully seized by Russian forces. “We have not forgotten and will not forget any of our cities and any of our people,” he said. “Now Donbass is almost destroyed by Russian strikes, devastated. The proud and glorious Ukrainian Donetsk was humiliated by the Russian occupation and robbed. But Ukraine will return. For sure. Life will return. The dignity of the people of Donbass will return. The ability to live will return. The opportunity to live safely and happily,” Zelensky added. According to him, this is what the Ukrainian flag will symbolize “when we set it up in Donetsk, Gorlovka, Mariupol, in all cities of Donbass, Azov area, in all areas under Russian occupation – in Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Kherson regions. And definitely in Crimea.” “Ukraine remembers everything,” he concluded.

No? Doesn't work anymore? Who would have thought? I think EU should also support Kiev's space exploration ambitions and its Artificial Intellect research (I kid, I kid, none exists in 404) because present intellect of EU in particular, and West in general, can be easily substituted with 8 bit Atari program and it will still do better. Which, speaking about such sewer as The National Interest rag, get a load of that--an "analysis" from a typical BSer in polit-sci who laments a tsunami of pseudo-military crap which dominates US SMO narrative from the git go, which demonstrates utter incompetence of Pentagon and US "intel", but this guy, obviously, has issues with reality of modern warfare (hint: 99% of people in D.C. and Arlington have) and he cries out:

Seriously? I have news for this "scholar of warfare", the United States never conducted anything close to the likes of SMO, against the actual standing army of 600,000 while having a force three times smaller and judging by "even the US military" triumphs in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, with a short break for turkey shoot against backward Saddam's Army and the performance of the US military technology in the REAL war environment in a complex terrain, which is dismal, this use of copium is rather silly. The fact that the US hasn't won any serious military campaign since Korea is, obviously, not a fact known to the author, which is not surprising for the US "geopolitical" rag which still publishes this shit:

U.S. Javelins Are Stopping Russia’s Armored Advance in Ukraine.

Yes, the US "expert" community today is nothing more than a collection of parasites who lack understanding of the subject matter, but if it is forgivable to such clown as Kris Osborne, when US generals continue to humiliate themselves publicly by spewing amateurish pseudo-military BS, it is a whole other matter. The depth of ignorance is such, that, as it became known, those people in Pentagon and "intel" thought that Russian Army would use... chemical weapons in SMO. They believed it. It is a systemic institutional failure, which cannot be addressed without redesign of the whole system.

Do I need to explain now why the US cannot fight a real war? With military leaders like that, who needs enemies. But then again, Hodges doesn't know what real war is, they don't teach this anymore in US military academies. How could they--that means a de facto admitting being a loser. I will expand on military education in the West later. Ben Hodges is one such "example".

Meanwhile In Vienna.

This is Europe's future. It is a sad one, but it is what it is.

One person dead, 15 injured, terrorist suspect down after attack at SIX LOCATIONS in Austria’s Vienna

I deposited today our ballots for Trump--cannot stand this BSer, but America is about to be subjected to pretty much same routine, less with Islamic flavor, more with the so called "left-wing" terrorism, which we all saw these last few months, as Vienna. Mind you, it is supported by the American so called "intelligentsia" (euphemism for people who have no applicable life skills and have degrees in BS teaching in universities) and US mainstream media, who are primarily staffed with lowlifes pretending to have morals (they don't). NYT, WaPo and DNC is general, as I stated not for once--they are clear and present danger to whatever remains of the Republic. Trump is a bad choice, in fact--he sucks, but he is the lesser of the two evils totally corrupted and dysfunctional US political system produces regularly. So, basically the choice is between floating in shit with the head above the surface and drowning in it. Simple as that.

Ha, Somebody Actually Does Their Job.

Interesting. CBS decided to do what normal media are supposed to be doing and actually interviewed Iran's Ambassador to the United States. What do ya know.

Obviously an important step--to give a voice to Iranian side. Surprising, but good.

Daniel Larison who I quote a lot lately notes:
Yes, this is the only way to conduct business, especially since Trump is now on record with his not really wanting war with Iran. Of course, Trump lacks understanding that his attempts of good cop-bad cop BS or "better deals" peculiar modes of negotiations do not impress people on the international arena. People who run large and important countries with huge history, such as Iran, they do their due diligence and study issues which define international relations. In other words, what works in shady New York real estate business absolutely doesn't work in global affairs. So, Trump needs to understand that the more he and his administration behave like this, the less his word or promises, hollow as they are already now, will weight. He must understand a simple thing: countries such as Iran, not to mention Russia or China are long ago inside America's OODA Loop and forestall the United States at every step on every turn.

Here is Putin talking to his Austrian counter-parts in Sochi and he is very clear, actually, on Russia's role in this whole situation. The question-statement by Russian reporter about Russian-Austrian dialogue being very different (in positive way) from Russian-European one is indicative of how Russia views Europe today.

By Putin's demeanor it is clear that he, frankly, is tired of telling Europeans (not Austrians in this particular instance) about obvious things. While dropping a little teeny-weeny bomblet today:
Russian leader Vladimir Putin says that laser technology will play a crucial role in the nation’s military might as he spoke about the “first practical results” of the country’s Peresvet combat laser system.Putin highlighted the importance of developing laser technology, including the “tactical-level combat laser complexes,” at a defense-themed cabinet meeting on Friday.
This probably explains Putin's earlier (May 13) statement about anti-hyper-sonic defenses, which apart from S-500 capable of dealing with some types of hypersonic weapons, will be based primarily around laser and whatever the hell other "death-ray" technologies. Putin never states anything without having a complete grasp of the issue related to Russia's security. So, make your guesses (or bets)--how long will it be before Russia unveils another weapon system capable to deal with perspective US hyper-sonic weapons, which, judging by Defense Budget Proposal 2020 will be primarily built around now lavishly financed good ol' Prompt Global Strike (GPS) program. I don't think the United States is near any real truly hyper-sonic anti-shipping missile--for that there are reasons of history and institutional culture, but that is a separate topic in itself. So, as you can see--a very eventful week. I need a drink, honestly.

Vladimir Putin Personally Interfered In Austrian Democracy;)

Yep, he sure did by attending Austria Foreign Minister's wedding. What an evil man.

Those Cossack singers from choir? Those are FSB agents trained as singers and dancers to bug... everybody. Now Russia fully controls Austria. Who's next in this evil plan?

Poor, Poor Dears-II

I hope you have heard about the insanity which unfolded in Austria recently? If not, update your logs of Europe's descent into hell.

After all, those poor, poor dears, are so emotionally vulnerable in a face of Western culture, that they can not contain their sexual impulses. By far, the most remarkable was a reaction of Vladimir Putin to that--the only known head of a major state to comment, honestly, on this Austrian legal atrocity.

But then again, each year "Western" liberal so called civilization uncovers massive child pornography rings. How it all started. Remember French "intellectuals", such as Sartre, writing in 1977 a letter against the age of consent in France? Well, when one has such "idols" as these perverts what can one expect as an outcome? And don't tell me that Nabokov is a great writer--if not for Lolita, a long time obsession of the artistic and (faux) "intellectual" classes--he wouldn't be remembered for any significant real contribution to literature. Yes, I read Lolita twice (both Russian and English) and each time I finished reading it I felt compelled to take a shower and caress my 9-mm Ruger or 12-gauge Mossberg--the tools which increasingly become the only means of passing a judgement on this filth which is flourishing in Europe (and some parts of US) among those who think themselves to be divinely anointed guides to all us, deplorables, on the road to the brave new world in which anything that is holy and sacred will be annihilated. But the game for us, deplorables, is not over, in fact, it only starts.

UPDATE:  Meanwhile in the country which loves to talk about itself as the place of birth of Magna Carta and thus of democracy, things get a little bit too politically correctish. Great Britain might be gone (for now) from EU but it is already gone as Great Britain, bar its pompous and degenerate political class which still thinks that it lives in XIX century. No worries, they will convert to Islam in due time. Here is from BBC.

Louis Smith: British Gymnastics bans four-time Olympic medallist over video

Wow! Just Wow. But then again, I always admired US Constitution and its most important amendments (especially 1st and 2nd), that is why US still has a fighting chance to change things. But the land of Shakespeare and Newton is over.
