That Sure As Hell Is Going To Impress Russians, Not.

I kid you not. Here is some British warrant officer waxing strategic and... LOL.

The UK’s top ‘other ranks’ soldier has said that British troops must be ready to fight Russia, and should prepare their families for the prospect of an “extended” deployment. His advice comes after the UK’s new head of General Staff said that British forces must become capable of “defeating Russia in battle.” Writing for the latest issue of the British Army’s ‘Soldier’ magazine, Carney said that the Army is shaping itself to meet the threat from Russia,” and “will be ready, with the right equipment, to play our part in deterring a future war in Europe.” “Deterring” in this case seemingly means deploying. “I want us all to check we are physically fit for operations. And it is also important we prepare loved ones and families, who often have the hardest role in our absence,” he continued. “My ask is that you have discussions about a potential deployment with them now…we could be out of contact for extended periods on tour.”

British delusions of grandeur continue. Tomorrow, granted everything goes as planned, I could be at some interesting gathering on YT and I am sure we will touch upon this and other issues. Especially hilarious ones which are highlighted in yellow. Which brings us to Sergei Shoigu  who reported on the use of Kinzhal hypersonic missile:

Russian forces have successfully fired three Kinzhal hypersonic missiles during the conflict in Ukraine, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has said. The missile “has been used by us on three occasions during the special military operation [in Ukraine]. And it showed its outstanding qualities on three occasions, qualities that no other similar missile in the world possesses,” Shoigu told Russia 1 TV on Sunday. The Kinzhal (Dagger) is a Russian hypersonic air-to-surface missile that entered service in 2017. It can travel at a speed of Mach 12 (around 14,800kph), while constantly performing evasive maneuvers, which is believed to allow it to penetrate any currently existing air defenses. The nuclear-capable munition can be launched by the country’s Tu-22M3 bombers or MiG-31 interceptor aircraft.

He also detailed the list of trophies from the US including vaunted HIMARS which are in Russia now (in Russian). Meanwhile Air Defense in Crimea continues to intercept all kinds of objects, and one small drone with some IED was intercepted again over the building of the Black Sea Fleet HQs--yet another attempt at terrorism by local Ukie sympathizers and, possibly, SBU assets and it will continue for a while, until all cells are identified and eradicated.
