Oh, My Italian Melancholia! Friday?

It started in 1982...with Azurri and one of the greatest football ever played (Rossi, Paolo Rossi, Juventus, cough, cough):

And then, San Remo and the greatest Italian pop which emerged from there:

What's the deal with robots? ;-))

Ah, yes, greatest slow dances on the discotheque in my naval academy in 1983...

But there was more significant San Remo with Dominco Modugno in 1970s.

1982.

San Remo 1982:

Paolo Rossi, Dino Zoff, Gaetano Shirea, Conti, Tardelli, Altobelli, Orialli...

Of course, bone-crushing Gentille, Colovatti and legend Enzo Bearzott. Half of them from Old Signora--Juventus. It was the year of Azzuri in USSR. It was also the year of magical Antonella Ruggiero and Matia Bazar:

Ahhh, those Rich and Poor.
