I understand media need to report something but next they will be reporting what Trump ate for breakfast and what he may have told to WH housekeepers. 

US President Donald Trump has said he would “very much like” to meet his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin “soon” in order to end the ongoing Ukraine conflict. It is not just important from the standpoint of the global economy, but also to prevent further human suffering, he told the World Economic Forum in Davos via teleconference on Thursday. “Millions of lives are being wasted,” Trump claimed, referring to the ongoing hostilities and calling the conflict “horrible.” “I am not talking economy, I am not talking economics, I am not talking about natural resources, I’m just talking about so many young people being killed in this war,” he added. The source of the figures used by Trump is unclear. In December, Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov said Ukraine had suffered almost 1 million battlefield casualties in total since the start of the conflict in February 2022. Kiev has claimed that Moscow had lost over 800,000 troops as of January 15. Neither side has commented on its own losses for a long time.

Russian response was clear: 

The Kremlin responded to the statement by saying that it saw “nothing new” in yet another threat of sanctions made by Washington. During his first presidential term, Trump had often resorted to sanctions, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists on Thursday, adding that the US president “likes such methods.”  Moscow is still ready for an equal and respectful dialogue, Peskov said, adding that Trump had engaged in that kind of exchange with Putin during his first term in office. Now, Russia is waiting for similar signals but has not seen any so far, according to the spokesman.

While Zakharova didn't mince words either.

Translation: Moscow considers the actions of the Joe Biden administration in many areas, including policy in Ukraine, to be crimes, not mistakes, said Maria Zakharova.

This is correct definition of what Biden and cabal of his handlers were doing both domestically and internationally can only be qualified as crimes, ranging from war crimes to crimes against humanity. So, the SMO continues.

P.S. Yes, getting basic math of SMO would certainly help Trump when making any decisions.

DAVOS, Switzerland — Ukrainian leaders made no secret of wanting to meet with Chinese officials in Switzerland this week but President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has headed home without the desired encounter in a blow to Kyiv. China’s delegation in Switzerland had ample opportunity to sit across from their Ukrainian counterparts, whether in Bern or at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Any meeting would have satisfied a long-standing hope in Kyiv to hold frank, in-person discussions with senior officials from Beijing. Just before a multi-nation peace summit in the Swiss Alps, Ukraine’s presidential chief of staff Andriy Yermak said it was imperative for China to join peace talks and hinted that Zelenskyy would have an opportunity to chat with Chinese Premier Li Qiang. In the end, Ukraine made no headway on getting China to commit to negotiations, and Zelenskyy and Li failed to speak.

What peace talks? Where is China and where are the remnants of 404? Chihuahua trying to convince the elephant that she matters? 404 and Ze have no say in any peace talks, because there will be NO peace talks--there will be only a dictation of conditions Moscow will impose, NO, not on 404, but on the combined West. China knows it, why should government officials of the first (and monstrous) economy of the world even lower themselves to a pawn in the game of three giants, US, China and Russia, going through the motions in a geopolitical universe where nobody will remember 404 in twenty years. Superpowers move in their own universe where different laws are applied. Will India enter the club some time soon in historic terms? Possible, but for now there are three. Will the US commit suicide by attacking Iran? Well, then there will be two left and the US abdicating its status. But will talk about this when we cross this bridge.

A Straight Shooter...

... of sorts. Vladimir Putin visiting legendary Obukhov Plant laid it out in the simplest numerical terms today:

Как отметил глава государства, Россия за год производит в три раза больше ракет ПВО, чем США, а в целом оборонная промышленность страны создает примерно столько же ракет различного назначения, сколько все остальные государства мира."Наше производство сопоставимо с мировым производством", — подчеркнул он.

Translation: As the head of state noted, Russia produces three times more air defense missiles per year than the United States, and in general, the country's defense industry creates about the same number of missiles for various purposes as all other states in the world. "Our production is comparable to world production (combined, my clarification)," he stressed. 

That was his comment in support of his other comment that Russia will never run out of missiles. While Lavrov emphatically stated (in Russian) that "there could be no negotiations with Zelensky, including due to impossibility of negotiations through (Ukie) legislation."  Pretty ominous for 404, isn't it. Also, ominous for the combined West which increasingly drowns in a copious amount of BS. John Kerry and clown show in Davos now are:

US climate envoy John Kerry has drawn widespread mockery for his speech to the World Economic Forum, in which he sought to portray the people gathered there as wise saviors of the world. “When you start to think about it, it’s pretty extraordinary that we – a select group of human beings, because of whatever touched us at some point in our lives – are able to sit in a room and come together and actually talk about saving the planet,” Kerry told a WEF panel on Tuesday. “I mean, it’s so almost extraterrestrial to think about ‘saving the planet.’ If you say that to most people, most people think you’re just a crazy, tree-hugging, lefty liberal, you know, do-gooder, or whatever, and there’s no relationship. But really, that’s where we are,” he added. Later in the speech, Kerry lamented that “allegedly wise adult human beings” ignored the science, mathematics and physics of climate change, and said he was certain the world will “get to a low-carbon, no-carbon economy” because “we have to.”

Oh, I agree. People like Kerry DID ignore mathematics and, in general, STEM studies, due to them being primarily lawyers (as Kerry) and political "scientists". In the end, the WEF's big honcho Klaus Schwab's Ph.D. thesis was about... financial loans for the mechanical engineering. I am contemplating writing the Ph.D thesis on the influence of flying RC planes and Lego playing on the non-surgical treatment of severe hemorrhoids in senior citizens. I am sure I can get both my Medical Doctor and Doctor of Engineering degrees through this. I will call the University of Washington tomorrow to inquire about requirements for such advanced programs. So, this is a primer for ya.
