They Want To Ban Smoking...

... in UK.  

The British government plans to completely phase out smoking in young people as early as 2040 and eventually eliminate the habit nationwide. The proposal, announced by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Wednesday, would make it illegal to sell tobacco products to people born on or after January 1, 2009, with the aim of creating the first “smoke-free generation.” “Without a significant change, thousands of children will start smoking in the coming years and have their lives cut short as a result,” Sunak said in speech at the Tory conference in Manchester on Wednesday. “I want to build a better and brighter future for our children, so that’s why I want to stamp out smoking for good,” the prime minister said, adding that the proposed measures would “mean our kids will never be able to buy a cigarette.”

Yes, the next logical thing will be to stamp out drinking, with final step being stamping out fucking--because there are chances that one may get STD and even get pregnant at an early age, which, in case of Europe which tries to legitimize pedophilia doesn't seem too bad. At the very least it might hep in stopping procreation of European political "elites". 

I smoked for 20+ years. A lot. I enjoyed it immensely until I understood that I must arrest the habit due to medical conditions we all get once we get older. But I never viewed banning smoking as a viable option on a societal scale. Sure, forbid smoking on planes, create smoking areas, but forbidding smoking in bars, the places where men and women could unwind with good friends--double bourbon and a cigarette? And then, there is one's home... but stamping out house ownership and freedom to do what you like in your house, like smoking a cigarette, is also planned for stamping out. UK is fast becoming... Airstrip One. I never heard about Philip Morris products driving anyone to the murder spree or jumping from high-rise balcony. Chemical substances, on the other hand... 

Well, Duh!

And then imbeciles from NYT and CNN wonder what is happening around them. Hey, half of the US voted for this. This is international embarrassment, but then again--for people who can not identify themselves as either man or a woman, they wanted it and they don't care.

Yes, sure. But you cannot blame this on good ol' Joe, he may have forgotten where he is and what for, so treating UK's PM with proper decorum is not high on his agenda. Moreover, despite Biden agreeing to answer a few questions from  press-pool, his security detail, ignoring Biden's decision to speak to press, simply pushed press out of the room.
