What About This Famed Chobham?

Well, it doesn't work really.

NATO armor in general is having a very bad performance on the modern battlefield.

NATO Armor Doesn't Do Well...

... in Kursk borderlands. Neither did SS Panzer Divisions in 1943. Thanks to Kazmans.

I wonder where those mighty British Challengers are, I am positive these wonder weapons surely will turn the tide of SMO in 404's (euphemism for NATO) favor. Right? Nah, I am screwing with you)). They are in the swamp.

We All Remember This...

... you know, British "tank commander".

Well, evidently, not only Challengers II do not outmatch anything, but they turned out to be matchboxes which burn together with all their ammo. What a "design"!

What it takes is a visit from Lancet and one gets the fireworks. This is one which was destroyed in Kursk, the second one was politely visited by good ol' ZVBK-16...

Which resulted in this. So much for vaunted Chobham armor:

But that's beyond the point. Some new details emerged about why Kursk and why governor of Kursk Mr. Smirnov was abruptly shut down by Putin during recent video-conference. It has nothing to do with allegedly "secret" information, but everything to do with how Smirnov was "preparing" Kursk region. I'll talk about it tomorrow, but as being reported now, Russian Army and VKS turned off electricity in Sumy and, as was expected, new operational axis has been "opened" and it will all end badly for... Sumy--for now the region of 404, soon to be the region of Russia. The localization and annihilation of whatever is being left from those between 11,600 and 11,900 (by General Alautdinov's rough estimates) engaged in this adventure continues and, in fact, accelerates.

Ah, Not Again;))

As I repeat ad nauseam--nobody escapes Kornet.

Российские военные с одного выстрела из противотанкового ракетного комплекса «Корнет» подбили в Запорожской области второй британский танк Challenger 2, сообщил глава общественного движения «Мы – вместе с Россией» Владимир Рогов.

Translation: The Russian military with one shot from the Kornet anti-tank missile system knocked out the second British Challenger 2 tank in the Zaporozhye region, said the head of the public movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov.

That is why Abrams M1 will not see the REAL combat for a long long time, probably not until nothing is left of VSU. The steady humiliation of NATO hardware continues. But before people begin to speculate about NATO "learning" about modern warfare, keep in mind crucial detail: what really matters in all that are REAL war correlates, or, speaking professionally, combat statistical data sets. Such as math. expectations for different types of munitions, probabilities of hits, destruction of targets, of receiving proper targeting, errors in systems, instrumental, human, external et al, in general--all this crucial data which spurs improvement of existing or, altogether,  development of new weapon systems. And here is the catch, NATO doesn't have it.

Those war correlates are priceless, but even what VSU, traditionally lying, provides NATO IS NOT it and it does not provide this critical insight into the technological dimension of the SMO. Sure, NATO may know Russian Army's movements and see some patterns in, say, operation of radar field of Russian Air Defense, but the true treasure is what I described above. This treasure goes through combat logs of units and formations, gets filtered by tactical staffs and then gets into the planning and analytical structures of the General Staff and, eventually, to design bureaus in a form of technical requirements. NATO has no access to this and that is in the main driver behind NATO's (read US) falling behind Russia technologically. As per Challengers--they will have the fate of museum exhibits in Russia, because VSU cannot evacuate these 75-ton monsters from the battlefield. Uralvagonzavod sends greetings to British tank designers and suggests to them to study real warfare, not BS they study in UK degree mills.

Thank You...

... guys for providing even more evidence of why many went completely bananas in the West and inside Russia, if you know what I mean, wink, wink.

Or this:
Yet another batch of the "best" tanks in the world having a bad day in Russia. So, make your own conclusions. Where are the Challengers Russian pilots of Ka-52s and Mi-28s are asking, as do Khrizantemas' crews and other people operating Kornet ATGMs or 152-mm Russian artillery operating Krasnopol munitions. And British government has no answers--they know how to kill defenseless civilians, how to do false flags, how to use chemical weapons, how to support child rapists and how to kill poor cats--that, they know how to do--fighting real war? Forget it, nobody in Sandhurst knows it. So, the news is--they keep Challengers in deep rear. Well, Perfidious Albion seems to be a correct definition. Churchill wanted to bomb Russians into the radioactive dust, you know--Operation Unthinkable.
