Financial Times ...

... is a human sewer, because normal people do not work there. They do not work in media in general--human waste does.

President Xi Jinping told US President Donald Trump during their high-level summit last week that Russian President Vladimir Putin may ultimately end up regretting his full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The revelation, first reported by the Financial Times citing officials familiar with the US assessment of the Beijing summit, comes at a delicate diplomatic moment. The information surfaced just as Putin is about to arrive in China for a critical bilateral summit with Xi.

But then ...

Well, from the boss' mouth, verbatim. Real boss meanwhile ...

For simpletons who believe that Putin's visit is somehow related to Trump's--I have a bridge to sell. This visit has been in preparation for a long time and 40+ contracts are to be signed and communique to be issued including declaration of the fait accompli of multipolar world. In related news, Boeing confirmed contract for 200 aircraft, primarily B-737 with the option of additional 750. It will be interesting to see what will be agreed upon between China and Russia in this sector.

Yes, It Is Time ...

... to start talking about American generals. They simply lie, all the time--is this a combination of malice, corruption, cowardice and ignorance. Likely, and this is a diagnosis. It is especially potent when it comes from US officers of courage, honor and integrity like Larry Johnson and Daniel Davis.

I also address American generals' delusions about war and peace in my today's video.

Note To Yourself.

Do not give interviews to shitty US tabloids such as WSJ, CNN or NYT among many. Those who work there are a rung lower than the crack whores. Moreover, many of them are war criminals. As it turned out, WSJ simply lied about D.J. Vance's words about "threats to Russia". Indeed, even Elon had it, as did J.D. himself.

Western establishment media must die out. Their staffs, those who are not convicted for a variety of crimes, should apply for work in fast food joints. And yes, WSJ IS a HuffPost for cretins who still think that "Financial Markets" are not propped by the corrupt state speculation, but "real" markets. Ah, yes, before I forgot--after communicating with these "journalists" do not forget antibiotics, unless you do it through online means.

Well, Lying and Self-Aggrandizing ...

 ... it already is.

US President-elect Donald Trump said on Thursday that a meeting was being set up between him and Russian President Vladimir Putin. “He wants to meet, and we are setting it up,” Trump said before a meeting with Republican governors in his Mar-a-Lago golf club in Palm Beach, Florida, according to Reuters. He did not specify when the meeting would take place.

Well, Kremlin reacted promptly.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow “had received no requests” for a Trump-Putin meeting. “It makes sense, of course, to wait until [Trump] takes office,” Peskov said.

So, Trump is "setting it up" in his imagination, not understanding that Putin and Russia do not operate within these types of frameworks. I guess being NYC real estate shyster is not a good background for statesmanship (as Trump's first term demonstrated so aptly), which Donald mistook for showmanship.

Well, Well, Well...

Judging by the increased number of trolls... ah judge for yourself. This is from Ria (use Google to translate).

Translation: Fighters from other units have already reached the center and control more than half of the city. A few kilometers and the Ukrainian troops will be surrounded. The loss of Kurakhovo will deprive the Ukrainian Armed Forces of important supply routes. And the Russian army will receive the key to the Zaporizhia region.

And what do you know:

The Russian flag is hoisted in the center of Kurakhovo. Now, if you disregard Colonel Mackgregor's references (this is his shtick, sadly) to Solzhenitsyn, he talks directly about mountains of lies.

Per US generals--there is not a single US general who is capable to fight modern continental war, period. The US system of military education is a joke--it does not educate officer corps for a real war, it brainwashes them into Hollywoodesque "military history" of the "finest fighting force in history". They really believed and swallowed 404 military propaganda hook, line and sinker--that's the first evidence of military incompetence.

That's Who They Are...

 ... simple as that--low lives.

Reports accusing Russian metals and telecoms tycoon Alisher Usmanov of setting up a scheme to bribe International Fencing Federation (FIE) referees were false, German media holding Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) has admitted, the news outlet RBK reported on Friday. Germany’s state broadcaster ARD, of which WDR is a part, published two articles and one video report in August, in which journalist Hans-Joachim Seppelt accused the Russian businessman of being behind a scheme to manipulate referees during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Usmanov served as the FIE president from 2008 until early 2022, when he voluntarily stepped down after being hit with EU sanctions, although he remains president-elect. The reporter claimed that Usmanov had orchestrated a “system of referee bribery” and corruption in international fencing during his tenure as FIE president, according to the outlet. However, the German broadcaster decided not to defend Seppelt’s allegations.

They all need to be sued, bankrupted and driven out of business. Look again at the smile of the Russia's Channel 1 reporter when looking at this human trash Rosenberg of BBC.

Rosenberg is yet another iteration of Goebbelsonean propaganda whore as is BBC as a whole. And this smile of contempt from Russian reporter speaks volumes. Did they disinfect the facility in Kazan after BBC, CNN and other Western media?

When I Talk About...

... inability to plan operationally and strategically on the part of Washington in general and Pentagon in particular, I do not mean it as a figure of speech. I really mean it in terms of actual planning. Six years ago I called the lack of this ability "the myopia".

The definition must be changed. With myopia one at least can see near oneself. This IS NOT the case with Washington--it cannot see what is immediately in a front of its eyes and the issue is not myopia but what some people, yours truly included, begin to increasingly assertively state--there is NO strategic planning in Washington at all. It is not just the inability to strategically plan, it is a complete absence of such in principle.

It is a systemic problem and it cannot be addressed without rebuilding the system from the ground up and the good first step would be throwing out all those Ph.Ds in "strategy" who infest US "academe" and think-tankdom while having no fucking clue about what they preach. Studying military and political history in and of itself does not represent "strategic studies" due to inherently complex nature of modern warfare and a required accuracy in description of the object of study, such as a country, in our particular case--Russia. The US in general, and combined West in particular, DO NOT have the tool kit to handle all that, we can say it now with confidence. So, the issue is multifaceted and pseudo-academe and "experts" who dominate decision-making chain in the US are incapable of correcting the course. It is too late now anyway.

And that is my point, the US is so deep in lies, about itself, about the world, about history, about military et al, that I don't see how can one reasonably debate those people, those masters of discourse who pretend that learning several stratagems and abstract "strategic" constructs makes them masters of "strategy". As was stated numerous times--enough to look at the version of WW II by those "masters" to understand how hollow and ignorant they are. E.g. Mearsheimer's quip about liberal democracy "defeating Nazism" while quoting Fukuyama. So, I can sit here and produce one example after another for days, but that's not the point. The point is--US "strategic planning" is non-existent category and anyone who pushes the idea that it exists today should be disqualified as a scholar, since doctrine and strategy-mongering is not strategic planning, especially when done by people who are lost in the complexities of the modern world.

The existence of people here and there who do understand this fallacy does not change the issue that the problem is systemic and cannot be addressed from within--the critical mass of thinkers with integrity and intellectual tool kit are simply not there. And even the US military is losing remaining ability extremely fast--not surprising considering a catastrophe in military education. And here we are today:

How do you even deal with that? I don't know yet. But I was warning about this for many years. Once this whole myth is exposed, as it was in 404, where do you go from here, when the whole house of cards is built on lies. How can you talk to any Ph.D in "international affairs" or in "strategy" when most of them do not know basic facts of history and have zero military professional apparatus to pass judgement on the foundation of geopolitics which is not geography but balance of power? I don't know, I just know that they cannot hide anymore the scale of a catastrophe. Ideas?

Good God!

No, I mean it! Baghdad Bob is having the time of his life, watching this.

The title of this surreal video is: Blinken says Ukraine has reclaimed about half of land Russia seized.  Get it? Well, here is yesterday's map by Russian MoD. These guys are good at strategy, operations and situational awareness, they are also extremely good at math and geography--all those things which are not taught in all those pseudo-academic degree mills in Ivy League humanities where people like Blinken go to get their liberal arts (a euphemism for absence of serious skills) degrees.

There are two shysters in this video--a genuine ignoramus and uncultured hack Zakaria and, of course, Tony Blinken. Not only they have zero math skills, both of these "professionals" sit and humiliate their (their?) country in a front of the whole world, because unlike Blinken everyone knows the real deal and the map reflects it. But I repeat, the only thing these sociopaths know is how to lie and PR, for the sake of own promotion within deep recesses of bureaucracy which can't do anything to stop, in fact it accelerates it, a demise of what remains of America's nation.

This Is The Best Headline In A While.

It is a well-known fact that Manfred Mann's Earth Band were the best cover band for... Bruce Springsteen's music when Bruce was still filled with talent and not full of shit as he is today. Larry nailed the title and substance.

Blinded by the Lies — The U.S. Military is Relying on Ukrainian Intelligence

Read the excellent piece at Larry's blog. And let's never forget an incredible voice of Chris Hamlet Thompson--one of the most beautiful voices ever!

Well, the band wasn't bad either, wink, wink;)

What's The Deal With The US Four-Star Generals?

I don't know. One, certainly, cannot suspect General Barry McCaffrey in cowardice. He is a distinguished combat officer, but this...

Don't they care at all about their professional integrity and honor? And he is not the only one, here is another guy:

Petraeus cannot possibly know what the real cost of taking Mariupol is, because only Russia's General Staff knows it. US main-stream media military "experts" long ago chose using Ukie non-stop propaganda BS and their sublimation of a severe professional jealousy and butt-hurt over professional integrity and this parade of military losers, who didn't win shit in their life, and who are still reeling from Afghanistan humiliation, continues non-stop.

They know what the US Army record of the last 50+ years looks like, they also know what military failures they are and they cannot contain their rage from experiencing the contrast between the two very different militaries and how they fight their respective wars. Even their "very own SOBs" in VSU are nothing more than Nazi war criminals who are singing like birds now both about NATO involvement in crimes against humanity in Donbass and about biolabs. Worst of all for them is well-documented fact of the US (and some NATO) military being directly involved in C4ISR for VSU which reflects extremely poorly on Pentagon's (always grossly exaggerated) reputation.  Hence this:

It would be really difficult to believe that the United States is not in a proxy war with Russia if reports that it plans to send anti-ship missiles to Ukraine are true. In fact, the State Department did not exactly deny this exclusive report from Reuters that Washington was readying to share the weapons capability to help “defeat Russia’s naval blockade…amid concerns more powerful weapons that could sink Russian warships would intensify the conflict.” “As the conflict is changing, so too is our military assistance to deliver the critical capabilities Ukraine needs for today’s fight as Russia’s forces engage in a renewed offensive in eastern Ukraine,” a State spokesperson said on Friday. The only thing that is being directly denied are assertions by the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs adviser, who tweeted Friday that “the US is preparing a plan to destroy the [Russian] Black Sea Fleet. The effective work of the Ukrainians on [Russian] warships convinced [the US] to prepare a plan to unblock the [Ukrainian] ports. Deliveries of powerful anti-ship weapons are being discussed.”

Well, Vlahos has been around D.C. for a long time and she surely should know that those "decisions" are not anymore dictated by some military necessity--not to mention the fact that those missiles will not change much militarily for Russia, and Ukraine--but that ANY US Administration in the last 20 years was in a full blown crusade mode against not just Russia, but Russians as people and it is driven by racial and cultural hatred and deeply hidden but not well contained complex of inferiority which exacerbates with the economic decline of the US (and combined West) and Russia taking the lead in forming new geopolitical reality. So, a lot of impetus behind desperate steps by D.C. is simply irrational. There are rumors now that the US considers supplying Patriot AD complexes to 404. The immediate question is who is going to be manning them when they will be annihilated?

It has to be understood clearly that the US, not taking anything from the entrepreneurial, industrial, creative and scientific genius of the American people, was a main beneficiary of once in a lifetime pure luck in WW II. But the same as you cannot substitute actual annihilation of the most of Ukrainian Air Force with many shots from the video-games, you also cannot buy military history. And no US general ever fought in defense of his motherland against the best of the best, defeating them time after time. You just cannot buy it, even if you want to convince yourself that General Lee was "equal" of Napoleon (he never was even in the same universe) or that Patton fought REAL Wehrmacht at the zenith of its power, Russians did and defeated it. The United States was supposed to be this savior, a providential blessing upon the world, but the immediate benefits of the post-WW II restoration pretty much ran out by the year 2000 and the wobbling then finally resulted in the economic calamity which is only now begins to be felt, slightly. It is getting to number 11 pretty fast.

For the United States the struggle is existential, it is also with its own chimeras of the past. I am on record, reality is a bitch, it eventually bites and it hurts like hell if you are not ready. Plus, you cannot fight it even with the most elaborate BS narratives, but that, it seems, is the only thing in which the US four-star generals are good at. Fighting real wars and not parading themselves as sore-losers, not much. Unless, of course, one begins to move goal posts and redefine all known truisms of military science. I know, I can only only imagine how it hurts to understand that after the 8 years of US training and support those who the CIA and Pentagon hoped to kill so many actual Russians (killing children and raping women was accepted as collateral damage) have had their ass kicked and humiliated by grossly numerically inferior Russian force. That's gotta hurt a lot. Here are some other "skills" US and NATO "taught" those animals. Here is incomparable Eva Bartlett.

In conclusion, Here is Larry's yesterday's take:

Mariupol’s Final Ukrainian Chapter, Russia Writes New book

Pay close attention to a video of good ol' Russian BM-21 MLRS doing its job. That is how the real war looks like. But I am sure General Petraeus knows all about it, right? Nah, I am being facetious.

How To Look Laughable.

And I mean it. Evidently in the course of what passes in the West for statesmanship throwing hollow promises to the left and to the right is considered a pinnacle of a state craft, while elsewhere it is considered to be a mere bullshit. Germany, evidently, decided that making grandiose statements without any wherewithal to support them in practice is a good policy. Right, you know, like promising not to expand NATO to Gorbachev.

Apart from obvious delusion of such a statement--Germany cannot guarantee anything to herself--one has to ask the question: who would believe Germany with exception of completely delusional Ukie "elites"? Or, for that matter, the US? Germany has to resign herself to a simple fact of life that it is a lapdog country with declining economy in general and industrial base in particular, lacking any resources and being in the state of committing a cultural suicide.  I mean, they still believe that they are "the locomotive of European economy", a favorite cliche by all kinds of creatures from Wall Street Journal. Militarily Germany is a pipsqueak and if anyone wanted to see this, be my guest, it is for March 2022:

These are average prices, there are some places in Germany which have it as high as 50 cents per kWh. This is how economic death looks like, but sure, they need more philosophers, political "scientists" and activists in German government. So, the details of how Germany will guarantee anything are not disclosed. Of course. Details are boring and hard, grandiose statements are easy. Like the ones General Keane loves to make, especially using the term "strategy" in between verbal packages of BS about Ukraine and warfare.

As Larry Johnson notes:

Russia Mythology Dominates the U.S. Media

They want Russians to die so badly, that they continue to invent things as they go and, of course, they love to parrot Ukie propaganda. In related new, Douglas Macgregor spoke in length about this whole clusterfvck of American (lack) or competent governance and piles of BS being created by Western media.

At this stage, American Main Stream Media can not be viewed other than a huge lie-machine for brainwashing public and they are the laughing stock of the rest of the world. Generally speaking, the profession of journalist has been killed in the West. It is now up to what passes for "alternative" journalism which faces the task of recovering the status of profession of a reporter. Here is one for you, wonderful Eva Bartlett talking to Gonzago Lira:

In conclusion, here is Andrei Raevsky's good take on this whole "tempest in the tea cup" (primarily spun by all kinds of amateur "analysts") of "negotiations":

Pentagon, actually, got it almost right)))

Yeah, Kiev is not a target (at least for now), it never was from the start. The VSU around it were. I quote Medinski again that reduction of activity "doesn't mean a cease fire". There is nothing to comment on it--everyone, I hope, by now read Scott Ritter's excellent primer on operations.

Ah, No...

POTUS made a declaration in Warsaw in his speech, he stated that Russian economy will shrink two fold (hm, what it reminds me about, I wonder, wink, wink) due to sanctions and then stated something altogether strange--he stated that Ruble to US Dollar going rate is: 200 to 1 (in Russian). Well... Here is March 26 (I mean today) and here is the reality:

It is the same ol' story about "15,000 KIAs", this time about economy--it is all desperation that makes them lie non-stop top-bottom. They all lie, because they feel the end coming. Pay also attention to the news (in the picture) mentioning Daily Mail, while NY Post also runs this headline:

Well, color me surprised... not. As I state non-stop, one has to even lie professionally, by "professionally" meaning making lies believable--they cannot do that in the West due to incompetents dominating corridors of power and influence from Brussels to Washington D.C. Plus, it is my assertion for a long time that most of them in those corridors do not even understand what real economy is and why, even if it would come this, you know 200 Rubles to 1 USD, it would make little difference because Russians want Rubles, not Dollars and Ruble today, unlike it was in the Soviet Union, buys you anything you want, because Russia IS NOT the country of deficit as Soviet Union was.

So, basically POTUS lying openly to everyone merely proves the level of desperation in D.C. regarding this whole 404 business, after all, the US wanted to see Russia getting her nose bloodied there, but it turned out quite differently. Again, I reiterate, those who "planned" Iraq and Afghanistan, it goes logically, would have huge difficulties understanding and assessing what goes on in Ukraine today. I just have one advice--hire more lawyers and PR people, they will show you how to plan and assess military campaigns properly, or how to govern (wink, wink).

Here are VSU soldiers surrendering (Nazis--are a different thing, they will be annihilated or taken prisoners and persecuted):

They will be taken care of (medical, food, bathing, rest) and after filtration will be either sent back home or given an option to form police forces in newly freed regions of Ukraine serving for new Military-Civilian Administrations. Per the amphibious ship Saratov, it is a loss and being a very old ship she will be struck down. The ammo compartment exploded due to hit by cassette warhead and it started a massive fire. The fire was dealt with, but this old ships is a goner.

Mariupol: a drastic drop in intensity of Neo-Nazi response by heavy weapons is reported (they simply are running out of ammo) and the city sees law and order returning. As War Gonzo reports: the actual size of fanatical Nazi force in Mariupol was around 20,000, most of it is annihilated and two pockets which are left and shrinking both contain roughly of 3,000 each. This was yesterday. Judging by reports of very many Nazis trying to escape Mariupol even dressing in women's clothing Mariupol's operation is at its end and most what is left is smoking out a remainder of what was considered the best fighting force in 404, and de-mining the city.

Here are some specimen taken POW by Kadyrov people. I think they might be Azov but I am not 100% sure.

The first thing which is checked for belonging to Nazi groups are their tattoos and then indicators of carrying and using small arms. Then FSB and LDNR Security people take it from there. In Russia, meanwhile, the idea of return to death penalty is now being circulated on the level of State Duma. I think it is about time. Macron meanwhile talks about introduction of coupons for the right to buy groceries in France (Oh, boy, USSR of late 1980s comes to mind) and after watching yesterday people in one of the French grocery stores fighting for vegetable oil, yep, seems like this is coming. Don't tell me that I didn't warn about it. Here is you primer for the weekend.

Liz Truss Makes Lavrov And Whole Russia Do This.

You know, this:

Oh, boy. Now, of course, UK media which never had any class, which is expected from orgs staffed with the UK's higher "education" products, invented this non-story. I think they feel that Liz Truss' visit was an embarrassment for UK and as any uncultured brutes they decided to go on the attack.

The report that the meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his British counterpart Liz Truss in Moscow on Thursday ended with the Russian official unceremoniously walking away from their joint press conference is fake news, Russia’s UK embassy said, responding to reporting by a British broadcaster. Truss “received an icy reception from her Russian counterpart before he walked out of the press conference, leaving her behind at the podium,” the British outlet ITN reported on Thursday. ITN’s news editor Emma Burrows – formerly a CNN producer based in Russia – tweeted that Lavrov “just briskly walked off, leaving [Truss] on her own at the podium.” With Burrows's tweet raking up hundreds of likes, the Russian Embassy in London intervened, accusing the journalist of spreading fake news. “Lavrov did not ‘just briskly walk off’. The conference ended, both ministers got their things and walked to the doors, Lavrov was simply closer to them. In fact, he opened the doors to Mrs Truss and welcomed her in,” the embassy tweeted, urging Burrows to “please don't spread still frame fakes, not worth it.”

If you see British or US main-stream media "reporting", beware, in 9 cases out of 10 what they report will be a lie or its "finest" form--a completely made up shit. In related news, anyone who comes through these media are not journalists but whores both figuratively and directly speaking. Plus, being whores they do not understand what both human and professional class is, of which Sergei Lavrov has plenty. He is a consummate diplomat and a real gentleman--a concept which ceased to exist in the West long time ago. So, I had to talk about it a little bit today.

Yes, this all would have been hilarious if it wouldn't have been so sad. Sadly, there is no such very loaded term as Habalka in English, but this is exactly the term which describes contemporary Western elites of both (or is it 125?) genders. Relatively new English term Karen does not quite do the job describing Western "elites" and media. Especially media. And, of course, UK is against Russia's sovereignty over Rostov-on-Don and Voronezh. How dare those Russians lay claims to these cities. Next thing you know, they will say that Moscow belongs to Russia. There are no limits to Russia's perfidy.

Yes, folks, these are you Western "elites". They can not calculate, they do not know geography, they have no clue about real history of the world and, come to think about it, they do not know outside world itself. But they are entitled. I had a chance to communicate and interact with people of a fairly high status and who would otherwise be called intellectuals in the West in 1990s and early 2000s. Many of them were genuine articles, well-educated, with class oozing from them, intelligent, some with a great sense of humor. 22 years passed by--we are in a presence of zombies. It took only 20+ years for this precipitous decline. I have some ideas how it did happen. In related news, I will probably make a case for Dark Eagle weapon system and why I do not believe it is a viable weapon system yet (it will become at some point of time) and why this whole noise around it is primarily (at this stage) propaganda.

There Is Very Little Intelligence In House Intelligence Committee.

Especially when we are talking about its chair Adam Schiff who in normal country would have been removed and prosecuted for his role in Russiagate. I know, I know, he is still hard at work trying to finish his "investigation" into Russia "subverting" US democracy.

It is obvious by now that US politicking is conducted only in PR space and for the "benefit" of the gullible public, especially when dealing with foreign relations, but in case of Adam Schiff there is no denial that his only claim to anything related to "intelligence" is his persecution of some FBI guy, or, following famous layman's analogy--he understands music because his father was a piano mover. In other words, apart from useless degree in political "science" and him, more useful, being a lawyer, Adam Schiff wouldn't know the difference between, as I often say, LGBT and BTG. So, at this stage he is nothing more than a purveyor of the rumors and a peddler of utter strategic and operational BS for the benefit of a larger agenda rooted in partizan politics in D.C. and which has no relation to the actual national interest of the United States nor the majority of the Americans.

In other words, apart from being a person of a lowest moral character, a fanatical neocon, he is also a pathological liar, which factors greatly in his "character". While Schiff's traits are the dominant traits of America's elites as a whole and I am on record that many of those people are sociopaths and some are outright psychopaths. So, this creature now "expects" Russia "invading" Ukraine. Under the "very likely" (rings the bell?) term it means that, if to assume that he, indeed, conveys some rumors percolating inside the US "intelligence community",  I have to admit that there is very little intelligence in this community. Judging by the "stellar" results of actions of this "community" ranging from Iraq, to Afghanistan to Syria, among many other places, one has to start questioning not just competence, of which is very little there, but sanity of people who continue to destroy the country. Adam Schiff is an Exhibit A of a complete degeneration in human and professional terms of the American political class.

But in the end, the United States is so desperate to both unload 404 on Russia and use any pretext to unleash "sanction of death", which for Russia will be nothing more than temporary inconvenience at the worst, that any means are used to make Russia invade the territory Russia has no use for nor desire to take on her balance. At least not now, or in a foreseeable future. In related news:

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is hoping to turn a page in relations with Moscow, and expects to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin by the end of the month, according to a report from Berlin's top tabloid. On Monday, Bild claimed that Scholz sees relations with Moscow as a top-tier foreign affairs priority in spite of calls from some members of his governing coalition for a more confrontational approach to Russia. The newspaper said that the 63-year-old is aiming for a "qualified fresh start." However, Berlin has officially yet to confirm any top-level meeting of this type, with the German Embassy in Moscow also unable to verify the report. What is known, however, is that the chancellor’s foreign policy adviser will meet his Russian and French counterparts this week. Scholz’s reported attempts at a new détente with Moscow may prove unpopular with his coalition partners, particularly the Green party, which is strongly pro-US/NATO and hostile to Russia. Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and Economy Minister Robert Habeck are known to want Berlin to adopt a more hardline anti-Russian stance.

My personal opinion is that the new Germany's government is nonfunctional from the outset and some people in it are downright insane and utterly incompetent, but that is the trend across the whole combined West and it is very pronounced.

P.S. I am currently sick as a dog, initial thought was that it is Covid, but my daughter tested negative twice. I think it is a very nasty cold and today I felt slightly better to type this post.

Ha, What Do You Know...

I have to admit--surprising.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A Russian analyst who contributed to a dossier of Democratic-funded research into ties between Russia and Donald Trump was arrested Thursday on charges of lying to the FBI about his sources of information, among them an associate of Hillary Clinton. The case against Igor Danchenko is part of special counsel John Durham's ongoing investigation into the origins of the FBI's probe into whether Trump's 2016 campaign and Russia had conspired to tip the outcome of that year's presidential campaign. The indictment, the third criminal case brought by Durham and the second in a two-month span, is likely to boost complaints from Trump allies that well-connected Democrats worked behind the scenes to advance suspicions about Trump and Russia that contributed to the FBI’s election-year investigation. The case does not undercut investigators’ findings that the Kremlin aided the Trump campaign —findings that were not based on the dossier. But it does endorse a longstanding concern about the Russia probe: that opposition research the FBI relied on was marred by unsupported, uncorroborated claims.

Of course, the first thing one needs to point out is that the term "analyst" applies to Danchenko only in so far as it applies to all of us who have a legitimate anal orifice. Other than that, this loser Danchenko has a typical background and career of political "scientists" and paid BSer (possibly prostituting himself as an asset to a variety of intel and governmental services). Generally, the guy is yet another iteration of "freedom loving" Russians and is in the same league as Masha Gessen, Julia Ioffe or such "expert" in Russia as Rebekah Koffler whose only Raison D'etre of their "professional" activity is to supply propaganda narratives about Russia to their US masters. Now, one of them, it seems, got busted for:

According to the indictment, Danchenko repeatedly lied to the FBI about his sources of information and that deception mattered because the FBI “devoted substantial resources attempting to investigate and corroborate the allegations” in the dossier and had “relied in large part” on that research in obtaining the surveillance warrants. A lawyer for Danchenko had no immediate comment. The indictment says Danchenko misled the FBI by denying that he had discussed any allegations in the dossier with a contact of his who worked as a public relations executive and was also a longtime Democratic operative who campaigned for Clinton, Trump's 2016 opponent.

Let me translate it to you into normal human language: this Danchenko dude (as is the case with MI-6 creep Steele) simply lied to FBI that the Democratic Party, namely Hillary Clinton and Obama's political machines, were directly involved into subversion of the Constitution of the United States and a shitload of many other laws, by means of providing fake information involving foreign power by means of avatars, whose "credibility" should have been enhanced by the fact that Danchenko is "Russian" and Steele allegedly had some contacts in Moscow, which was a full BS. Steele would have been figured out by good level FSB operative in 15 minutes, because Russia Steele knew in early 1990s and Russia of 2016, let alone of 2021--are two different countries.

So, pop-corn time. I will, however, reiterate--no matter how I despise Trump, NO person deserves to have his name, however flawed, to be dragged through the dirt most of which was a perverted fantasy straight out of Clinton and Obama houses and which accelerated already fast decline of the United States and completely discredited already tarnished American political system. This is an indictment to the whole political system:

The indictment also accuses Danchenko of lying to the FBI about a July 2016 phone call he says he had with someone he believed to be the president of the Russian-American Chamber of Commerce. That person, according to the dossier and Danchenko's account to the FBI, told him about a “well-developed conspiracy of co-operation” between the Trump campaign and Russia. The indictment says Danchenko fabricated his account and never actually received such a phone call.

Whole Russiagate was a fabrication by Democrats, but Danchenko is important, especially when his background is considered, in illustrating what a pile of delirious shit US foreign policy towards Russia is because it gets its "info" from such "experts", both inside Russia and inside the US. The result is totally expected--an utter disaster. And as always, don't tell me that I didn't warn you.

P.S. Congratulations to Virginia, and especially on this wonderful lieutenant-governor elect Winsome Sears. Black community should be truly proud of such a woman. She is inspiring.

A Short Note On Being Ungovernable.

I already expressed my opinion on the US handler of Syria Mr. Jeffrey before:

Jeffrey is delusional and is very butt-hurt, possibly because of his utter professional and human inadequacy, which is expected from a man with background in management and a member of "National Security" team of W (we all know how "well" that played out) and a burden of "victory" in Vietnam War with which utter irrational hatred of Russians comes naturally and, in fact, is a requirement;  enough to recall another American Vietnam War "hero", late John McCain. Obviously Jeffrey's deal with Syria is not to fight terrorism but to support Al Qaeda (and its many iterations) operations there. In general--anything to not allow Syria (and Russia) to defeat Islamic terrorism there. He even speaks openly about it. Jeffery, an infantry officer in Vietnam, then some CIA "spook", in addition to his "diplomatic" background, is a 74 year old and, obviously, a cranky man who does not understand modern warfare and, as is expected from US "experts" in Russia, has no knowledge of real Russia. Nor, obviously, he knows his own country, the United States that is, since he still thinks that the United States is this unstoppable military juggernaut which....lost most of its wars. That is why this senior citizen is so eager to start the war with Russia. There are many like him in all kinds of D.C. institutions.

Jeffrey is an Exhibit A of the United States being ungovernable and he confirmed this just recently.

Four years after signing the now-infamous “Never Trump” letter condemning then-presidential candidate Donald Trump as a danger to America, retiring diplomat Jim Jeffrey is recommending that the incoming Biden administration stick with Trump’s foreign policy in the Middle East. But even as he praises the president’s support of what he describes as a successful “realpolitik” approach to the region, he acknowledges that his team routinely misled senior leaders about troop levels in Syria. “We were always playing shell games to not make clear to our leadership how many troops we had there,” Jeffrey said in an interview. The actual number of troops in northeast Syria is “a lot more than” the roughly two hundred troops Trump initially agreed to leave there in 2019.

You see, that is why the United States is non-agreement capable and that is why Russia simply doesn't take US political and the so called national (in)security establishment seriously. This establishment not only is actively involved in the sabotage of the remnants of the Republic, it actually lies and misleads (a more refined euphemism for lying) the POTUS. What is most remarkable--these people they never get punished or are held responsible for what amounts to... well, find the definition of this yourself. For Russians, the only parties with which any kind of professional communications are possible are US Armed Forces and, at some level, intelligence organizations, especially in terms of the ongoing exchange of information on terrorism. Any bloviation from the US "diplomats" on Realpolitk, such as Jeffrey's sheer delusions, can not be taken seriously and as I am on record all the time, they are so completely detached from reality "on the ground" that no amount of the geopolitical fluffy rhetoric and platitudes can obfuscate a simple fact of the US political top being completely disoriented. Not surprising at all--they lie to each-other non-stop. Jeffrey proved this, yet again, by having the audacity to parade US governance dysfunction and lack of professionalism as a virtue. Hey, what do I know, Jeffrey says:

“That’s the nature of realpolitik and great power foreign policy.”

Well, if Mr. Jeffrey says so, I guess it must be so. But this is precisely "great power policy", or whatever the chaos and corruption passes for it in D.C. which helped greatly to bankrupt the country and bring the United States to where it is today. It is not a good place, to put it mildly. But I am sure Mr. Jeffrey will find the way to spin even this disaster.

The Hell You Say. Say It Ain't So.

James Antle of TAC arrives to the conclusion that:
"Inadvertently"? Really? Well, if one considers a density of lunacy in both parties, that, theoretically, could be somewhat true. But Antle himself makes a very good point after that:
Nobody will be impeached for lying about Afghanistan. There will be no intelligence community whistleblower setting in motion an impeachment inquiry over weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. In fact, the same Nancy Pelosi who ultimately caved to the Resistance shut down antiwar Democrats who wanted such hearings into George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. But here John Bolton, an advocate of preventive presidential war during this very administration, may finally get his wish of being greeted as a liberator.
As I repeat ad nauseam--look who is running the country? Of course, I can wax "Marxist" (in reality it is REAL realism) here, if I need to, all I want but I will invoke here good ol' anti-war wisdom by Bronislav Malinowski (hardly a Marxist) "that like the charity, aggression starts at home". We always have to remember that the American war, an expeditionary warfare with relatively low costs in life for the US that is, while undeniably being a very lucrative affair for many contractors, is also driven by people with all their views, beliefs, misconceptions and even psychological and psychiatric disorders. Consider the Crusades--while there is very little denial of the fact that those were driven in a large part by desire for loot and highly valuable real estate, one cannot discount the issue of faith in them--it was there too and it was manifested on many occasions by and in crusaders. People in charge or near the current US war machine also have their beliefs and disorders. Sadly, many of those beliefs and disorders are extremely dangerous. The further those people are removed from battlefields the more aggressive and hysterical they become.

It is only natural for them, because they convinced themselves that sacramental Samuel Johnson's patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel doesn't apply to them. It, however, fully does--most of them (not all, some exceptions do exist) are scoundrels. US forces behind America's disastrous military adventurism are usually people who do not know the difference between the FOB, as in commerce shipping, and FOB as in Forward Operating Base, forget about explaining to them the difference between tactics and operational art, not to speak of combat networks and weapon systems' integration. They have neither mental faculties to grasp it nor are interested because they think that they can control things of which they have no idea. This is in general a psychological portrait of people in US "high places", such as House of Representatives or US media, who unleashed Cold War 2.0 with Russia--they believe in a number of falsities in the foundation of this new Cold War, plus, being petulant infantile children, it is for them the only way to lash out in their not completely internalized and understood, but surely profoundly felt, desperation when things do not go their way. So, behind hysterical Russophobia of the US political elite, the reason of a massive geopolitical assault on Russia as a way to preserve US hegemony is very important but not the only defining factor, by far the most important one is a rotten to the core moral fabric of the American elites or, speaking in plain language, many of them being just self-serving ass-holes. In other words, one has to be a decent man or a woman to make different decisions and have different non-hysterical reactions. US power politics attracts primarily people with a very specific psychological profile--a profile of sociopaths who only see their self-realization through power and aggression, especially if the actual fighting is done by someone else. Plus, they all lie, non-stop.

All politicians, everywhere, lie, but it seems that only in the United States as of lately lying all the time became a strict requirement for pass to the power "elite" Parnassus. It is one thing to lie about Russia, but to lie to oneself--this is something new. When even a WaPo--a professional lie-generating organization--is forced to report on Afghanistan catastrophe, that shows how bad things are getting:
Lie permeates the Washington's corridors of power, it is everywhere, it oozes from the pages of news papers and magazines, it is dissolved to a dangerous poisonous levels in the economy statistics, it is being squeezed from non-stop useless public opinion polls, lies penetrated even into decision making levels of military and even manufacturing. No wonder the US can no longer shake off this sticky feelings of things not going right. They don't and it cannot be other way because everything is being fueled by lie. They lied about Iraq, they lie about Afghanistan, they lie about Russia. They need a cover for their gigantic egos and disproportionately puny abilities which feed those egos. And they do it in full consciousness because that is who they are. Once American meritocracy was killed, this outcome was inevitable--the trash moved in. But one cannot lie non-stop and those bubbles of lies, big and small, are beginning to pop practically non-stop. And this popping sound generates more and more aggression in a desperate attempt to prevent popping of the biggest bubble of them all--a myth, which is one of the iterations of lie, of the American omnipotence. Cold War 2.0 in their opinion can give them, as they thought would be with, now completely discredited, Russiagate, at least some new lease on life in their privileged positions. But they are wrong, after all, in that they lied not only to the public but to themselves too. They can not do anything else anymore and release of the papers on Afghanistan and 3-year long exhibition of a collective madness in sabotaging American governance, however inept, and Constitution, illuminated a staggering scale of rot and corruption of the Empire. Now it is just a matter of time before house of cards comes crushing down. Something built on lies in our modern world doesn't live that long. Not to mention when being run by ass-holes.

Reality Check.

John Bolton, apart from being unqualified to be in his current position, is also not a very bright fellow in anything related to actual weapons and technologies. You would expect this from an aggressive coward with degree in...law. Yet, John Bolton outdid even himself yesterday in his interview to Voice of America when stated at 19:57  that Russian hypersonic technologies were "largely stolen from the United States".(c) Before that he repeated ol' tired bromides about Russian economy being the size of the economy of Netherlands, but statement on hypersonic technology being "stolen" by Russia from the United States is a very peculiar one.

Let's start with the simple fact that Bolton lies, always, this is what US degenerate so called "elites" do, in breaks between their pedophilia urges and being cuckolds at group sex parties. So, it is expected from these creeps to live in the world of their own, with their own "morals", "facts" and "reality". In their "reality", patent, into your face, lies is a given and are accepted as normal behavior. Bolton's BS, apart from laughter from many corners in Russia, including from the State Duma, is being laughed at for a simple reason that the United States simply doesn't have any. There is simply nothing to steal. One "teeny-weeny" fact of the United States lacking any dedicated true SUPERsonic strike  (anti-shipping) missile is a first clue in all that. US efforts to produce such a missile were met constantly with a variety of technological and fiscal failures, in the end all attempts to build one were abandoned. The continuous propaganda, designed for the consumption of the fanboys, that aircraft carriers firepower was more than enough to compensate for the lack of powerful strike weapons is just that, same as Bolton's statement, a BS.  Feeble attempts to base a super-sonic strike missile on the SM-6 anti-missile missile design are a typical desperate stop-gap measures which inevitably resulted in failure.

So, the United States simply lacks any record of producing viable super-sonic missiles, unlike USSR/Russia who crossed into genuine supersonic territory already in 1959 with venerable, M=1.3 capable, P-6/35 anti-shipping missiles. P-500 Bazalt and P-700 Granit, M=2.5 capable weapons,  followed in 1960s and 1970s respectively, resulting, eventually, in a plethora of Russian genuinely super-sonic strike missiles ranging from P-270 Moskit, 3M54 Kalibr family, to P-800 Onyx, capable of roughly M=3, to a terrifying weapon, M=4.8 capable Kh-32. Mr. Bolton should know (he is the National Security Adviser, after all) that the United States has nothing even remotely comparable to this class of weapons and doesn't have technologies to produce one. That means only one thing--the United States never reached a crucial stepping stone of workable supersonic technologies, ranging from materials, fuels and control and targeting systems, among many others, to get into the hypersonic realm.

It is, of course, also evident, judging by the rather mediocre, politely speaking, results obtained in PGS (Prompt Global Strike) program that US is not capable to control hypersonic vehicles, which, for some reason, continued to explode on tests (hint: material science). So, the statement by Bolton that Russia, who already deploys a whole class of hyper-sonic weapons, ranging from strategic Avangard to Kinzhal and upcoming 3M22 Zircon, stole something is not just preposterous, it is also very indicative of a massive butt-hurt and realization that the United States lost the arms race. I think, for all his feeble "intellectual" capabilities, Bolton knows that, and he is hurting, badly. That is why he creates ridiculous stories in desperate attempts to hide a reality from public and there is no better way to do it than in interview to am exhibit A of US propaganda and lies than Voice of America. It is a long and tedious process of sorting out who is genuinely clueless or who is simply lying among US "elites". I am not interested anymore in sorting sorts of shit out. But I tell you what, which this Bolton's interview served as impetus to note this: global markets' volatility, apart from all those "inverted curves" and other Wall Street mambo-jumbo, is just a symptom of a much deeper "illness".

I am on record with this: once world begins to understand REAL, very much exaggerated, US military capability, which is in the foundation of US-driven and owned global financial order, things will begin to collapse economically in the US. US Dollar hegemony rests not with the crooks from the Wall Street and investment banks, it rests SOLELY on the ability of the United States to enforce dollar-dominated world order. That means military, everything else is derivative. Wall Street indices can go down, or up, or stay the same--this changes nothing. The fight always was to overthrow US Dollar monopoly. In 2008, in August, first message was sent--Russia refused status-quo. Today, in 2019, Russia not only refuses status-quo, she builds her own and she can do it because she initiated Real Revolution in military affairs with technological and operational concepts which completely shifted the global balance of power in what in historic terms can be defined as an instant. Once the US ability to enforce militarily US Dollar-driven global order was lost, the game was over. Now, with all this full-scale economic warfare US is waging on China, Russia and the rest of the world, with US markets being shaky, with real American economy being a pale shadow of itself of 20 years ago, with a degeneracy of the US ruling class, with crime shooting through the roof, with opioid and drugs crisis never seen before--all those are the signs of an Empire in decline which knows that she lost control and now it is just the matter of time before she either surrenders or takes down the world with itself. To avoid this catastrophe, these are what precisely the weapons Russia created for. Not to wage the war, but to avoid one. This is the reality check Mr. Bolton MUST perform but he never will--he is a flesh and blood of US ruling class nobody of rudimentary self-respect and integrity is going to negotiate anything with and not just because this class is non-agreement capable, but because there is no strong enough soap to wash one's hands after shaking them with these people.

The Economist Steps Into The Sh.. Puddle, Again.

The Economist rag, which for some unknown reason passes as some kind of competent publication still cannot wrap its feeble brains around this fact:
THE only thing more improbable than the Russian national team’s performance on the pitch has been the buoyant atmosphere around this year’s World Cup. Fans from around the world have poured into the country despite political tensions—though the poisoning of two more people with the nerve agent Novichok in Britain cast a pall over the next round (see Britain section). At home, Russian security services have turned a blind eye toward minor infractions, allowing city centres to become non-stop parties. When Russia defeated Spain on July 1st cars blocked Moscow streets and started impromptu street discos. Thousands of dancing revellers snaked past the Bolshoi Theatre, where ballerinas had also been watching the match backstage, and up to the doorsteps of Lubyanka, the headquarters of the FSB, the successor to the KGB.
Then they double down with, of course, some liberal Russian dimwit who is Vedomosti's chief editor and Kennan's Institute Russia "expert":
Such permissiveness has made for a more convivial tournament than many expected. “Marches that don’t need to be approved a month in advance, open-air celebrations that don’t lead to prosecutions, backslapping with police officers—the World Cup in Russia has turned into a festival of freedom,” observed Maxim Trudolyubov
I have some news for The Economist tabloid--Russia is on the order of magnitude freer than UK ever will be. Now pathetic English media which are nothing more than propaganda outlets who do not know meaning of words freedom and professional integrity, have to live with their major FUBAR when they convinced English fans to stay at home and not visit Russia. We all know that the first thing English fans get when arriving to Russia--they are immediately subjected to Novichok and then, those who survive are sent to GULAG.

English media have no honor, integrity or professionalism. With some minor exceptions it is a Minitrue designed for promotion of the most damaging, suicidal political, economic and cultural agenda and, frankly, nobody gives a shit anymore about what some pompous English ass-hole from BBC, The Economist or any other English toilet-worthy tabloid thinks about anything. They shot themselves in the foot yet again. Meanwhile English team made in to quarters and English lads were received in Russia with open arms. But don't believe what you see, those English fans were blackmailed, obviously...

Meanwhile for this Russian "expert" from Vedomosti--of course he lies because this is spontaneous celebration in 2008, with Russia win over Holland at Euro 2008. You can almost sense how GULAGish all that is, no freedom...
