LOL)) Well, geopolitical reality is a bit more complicated than American politics. But then again, what will Europe do if the US decides to take Greenland? I have the answer--nothing. It is, of course, difficult finding oneself in the position of being an object, but Europe was a geopolitical prostitute since the end of WW II. It is just that it cannot admit it to itself, while sensing own impotence. 

Sorry, Europe--you wanted it, and I cannot say that it is totally undeserved. Far from it. The only thing Europe, which is being driven into the ground by its "elites" and huge portions of population, can hope for is that DJT will have his attention focused on Panama rather than on Greenland and even at that only because the US doesn't have icebreaker fleet required for operations in the Far North. But I see, Ze's mode of communications using profanity is now being well received in European Parliament--another useless and pompous org created to cover up unfolding totalitarianism over most of Europe. 

The Only Way To Win--Is Not To Play...

 ... the game. But, sadly, for Prof. Legutko, the smug smiles of the European Parliament's sinecure abusers who pretend that they are representatives of someone in Europe (actually, some of them are), the wiping of those smiles from their faces will not come through academic discussion and scientific reasoning. Albeit, Legutko's civic courage is appreciated. 

And here is the problem for EU in general, and Legutko in particular. When Vladimir Putin spoke in Munich in 2007 he knew what and who were behind him. By now those condescending smiles of the West's representatives in Munich have been wiped clean from their smug faces. Some, like McCain, are simply gone--I wish he was still alive to see what is happening--but the change to Europe will come (it is already coming) through venues none of those in European Parliament, Legutko including, understand. And as many observers, yours truly included, were stating this for some time--SMO is not just about eradication of 404 as a state as it exists today, but about destroying NATO and EU as such and that is what it means of "not playing the game." 

A Minute of (Geopolitical) Humor.

Granted, a surreal one, but humor nonetheless. A major geopolitical player, a power of the powers, a strategists' strategist...the European Parliament delivers in its press-release a much needed comic relief:

The EU, together with other partners, needs to tackle urgently the humanitarian crisis in the country and the region, caused by conflict, displacement, food insecurity, droughts and the COVID-19 pandemic. It is in our own interest to prevent another migration crisis. The EU needs to develop a new Strategy for Afghanistan and the region taking into account the new circumstances, considering that Russia and China will quickly try to fill the political vacuum. In particular, Pakistan, Iran and India should be urged to play a constructive role in Afghanistan.”

Of course, how could  EU fail to "develop a new Strategy for Afghanistan"? Especially after its "strategy"  worked so well in Ukraine. Maybe Vicki Nuland did have a point? "Fuck the EU" sounds reasonable to me. Especially in regards to Afghanistan. If there ever was organization which is most useless and irrelevant to any serious statecraft, applied geopolitics and situations of the scale which we observe for the last few days that will be European Parliament. Even Rocky Mountain Llama and Alpaca Association has a bigger impact on Afghanistan than European Parliament. How this collection of losers (I am talking about European Parliament) can develop anything other than suicidal and, by definition, homicidal policies is beyond me. But their comic relief couldn't have come at a better time, we all needed it. There is nothing funnier than chihuahua trying to assert itself in the company of grizzly bears and buffaloes. Or very large dogs, at least. 

There is a reason there are so many memes about that. But I am sure strategery will help.
