Russian President Vladimir Putin has discussed the Ukraine conflict and its potential resolution in a sixth phone conversation with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, Moscow has said. The two leaders focused on the implementation of agreements reached by Moscow and Kiev during direct talks in Istanbul over the past months. Moscow will continue to seek a diplomatic solution to the ongoing conflict but will not leave its root causes unaddressed, Putin stated during the conversation. Trump, in turn, called on the Russian president to cease the hostilities as soon as possible, according to presidential aide Yury Ushakov. The two presidents, however, did not discuss a potential meeting, Ushakov said. They nevertheless covered a broad range of topics, including the recent escalation between Israel and Iran, developments in Syria, and the situation in the Middle East, according to the aide.

This will be told to any Western leader time, after time, after time. Here is the proper quote from Ushakov:

"Наш президент также сказал, что Россия будет добиваться поставленных целей, то есть устранения всех первопричин, приведших к нынешнему положению дел, к нынешней конфронтации. И от этих целей Россия не отступится". 

Translation: "Our president also said that Russia will achieve its goals, that is, the elimination of all the root causes that led to the current state of affairs, to the current confrontation. And Russia will not back down from these goals."

US President-elect Donald Trump has called Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the Ukrainian conflict and its potential settlement, The Washington Post reported on Sunday, citing several people familiar with the matter. The phone call took place on Thursday, shortly after Trump secured his election victory. The US president-elect reportedly urged Putin not to “escalate” the conflict, reminding him of the significant US military presence in Europe, one of the sources told the daily. Apart from that, Trump and Putin spoke about “the goal of peace on the European continent,” with the US president-elect expressing interest in follow-up conversations to talk about “the resolution of Ukraine’s war soon,” several other unnamed individuals told the WaPo. The report gave no insights into what reaction, if any, Trump’s remarks invoked. Thus far, Moscow has made no official comments on the reported phone call between Trump and Putin. On Thursday, the US president-elect told NBC News he had already spoken with “probably” 70 world leaders since his election victory, but Putin was not among them. “I think we’ll speak,” Trump said at the time.

Somebody has to explain to Trump what required force is and that currently the totality of the US Armed Forces doesn't have enough force to fight Russia in the East, let alone this allegedly stressed by Trump "significant presence".  Peace is, of course, good but it is not coming on NATO's, US that is, conditions. If he thinks that Russians are impressed with "significant presence", he should talk to Doug Macgregor or Daniel Davis, they may enlighten him on what is going on. In related news. 

French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced the provision of Mistral anti-aircraft missiles and SCALP cruise missiles to Ukraine. Both types are needed by Ukraine. Here, we present the capabilities of the donated equipment. In an interview with Le Journal du Dimanche, French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu mentioned that he recently signed the transfer of approximately ten SCALP cruise missiles to Ukraine and announced another shipment of Mistral anti-aircraft missiles.

At this stage, I think, it is about time to allow Mr. Kinzhal or Mr. Zircon to visit some French military installations or maybe reduce Marine Nationale's list of frigates or corvettes just to demonstrate to these cowards that their place is that of poodle who ate master's shoes and needs to be punished.

Pat Ryder announced the call in a briefing Tuesday, saying Austin initiated the discussion. “The secretary emphasized the importance of maintaining lines of communication amid Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine,” Ryder said. Russia has blamed the U.S. for an attack on Crimea — a Ukrainian peninsula Moscow seized in 2014 — in which Ukraine used ATACMS missiles supplied by America. Still considered Ukrainian territory under international law, Crimea is an exception to a U.S. policy that bans Ukraine from shooting long-range weapons into Russia. This week the Russian Foreign Ministry summoned U.S. Ambassador Lynne Tracy for a scolding over the attack, which killed at least four and left more than 150 injured.

And no, it is also not about "military contractors" or "boots on the ground"--there is more to it. And that is about what is going on on the battlefield in former 404.

As Always, They Lied.

As I stated not for once--US media is a sewer which has nothing to do with journalism and is reduced basically to propaganda outlets. Their butt-hurt is also palpable and produces Freudian outcomes, especially in projections. Kremlin, however, didn't wait to yet another US main-sewer media BS to fade away and responded almost on the spot.:

Apart from the purely military aspect of the matter--such as the ability of both sides to obliterate each-other many times over already now, what does it even mean to "win the arms race"? Did those cretins in NBC know, just for a warmup what is this:

This is apart from an obvious fact that recent Russian technologies make US anti-ballistic missile defense just a waste and restore what Russia was aiming for from the get go--return of the US within more or less stable confines of MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction), which the US for decades tried to leave. If the US wants to increase her nuclear arsenal--sure, Russia can accept the fact that now she can be annihilated whole twelve times over instead of the measly eight or nine as it is the case today. Sure, who wouldn't like to be obliterated by nukes twelve times over--nine times is so yesterday.  In the end, it is strictly internal American matter on deciding how to completely bankrupt itself while stealing hundreds of billions (or trillions) of dollars in producing dubious weapon systems which do not work (a track record of that is available upon request) and a lot of CGI driven fantasy movies about how they do.  

This disinformation (well, lie) by NBC, however, is very indicative of a complete mental breakdown of the American body politic and it does show how all those good ol' boys and girls in US establishment do feel humiliated, despite constant declarations to the contrary. Yep, sore losers. Plus, I think Donald Trump is smarter than those in US media give him credit for. So, as in the case with Skripals, which in the better times could have been a great material for Monty Python, people in US establishment are utterly incompetent for coming up with even believable lie. Indeed, what a massive case of sour grapes and of being pathetic sore losers--can not even lie properly.  

In related news, as was expected for some time now, the idea of "declaring the victory and leaving" is being floated now at the highest political levels.  If this comes to fruition it will be a massively good thing for all parties involved with the exception of "democratic" head-choppers and other jihadist scam in Syria.  Well, and for Kurds, but they were warned from the get go--they didn't listen.
