Onyx In The Air.

Project 885 SSGN Kazan training supersonic missile launches. Milporn.

Latest versions of P-800 Onyx have the range of 1,000 + km and speeds up to M=3. Looks like a new trend in Russian Navy--COs of nuclear subs shave their heads completely.

This Is In The Foundation...

... of the whole goddamn thing with the West.

It was always about it. Even when it deals with metaphysical, such as West's attempts to remove Orthodox Christians through Kiev's regime from their cathedrals, as is the case today in Cherkassy.

Russia and Russian Orthodoxy are a threat to the West by the fact of their fierce independence which can also defend itself. In fact, best in the world in this respect and, yes, it is a very loaded statement.

Ha, CNN Reports...

... actual news from Havana. Not the first half of the report, of course. But visit to Admiral Gorshkov is open for public. Upper deck only, of course.

Obviously, no one is allowed on board of Kazan. As expected, the discussion board below the video is dominated by massive numbers of TSIPSO and simply genuine article Khohol and other Western fanboys, but the truth is--as I reiterated a number of times--it is what is in waters in the Eastern and Western seaboards which really matters. Couple of the US vessels with SURTASS are  hanging around the area waiting for any opportunity to get Kazan's acoustic signature, but Russians are keenly aware of the rules of the game and Kazan, naturally, will sail on the surface until she breaks off nosy SURTASS guys and a couple of Virginias or Seawolves doing lapses in the vicinity. Good Ol' submariners game.

What many fanboys didn't notice of course is Academic Pashin...

Russian Navy's latest class of replenishment ships (oilers) of pr. 23130 with 2 completed, 2 building and 2 ships of this class planned. They are state-of-the-art and are designed and built precisely for the type of global affairs such as the visit of a detachment of Russian ships to Cuba. Each of the ships of this class is capable to carry more than 5,000 tons of fuel, plus other supplies. My memory, however, brings me back to this mighty supplier...
At 25,000 tons, she was a mighty fine ship. Well, times change and surface fleets are rethinking their footprint in the times of hypersonic weapons and 24/7 ISR.

New World Order...

 ... and I mean it--NEW in a good sense.

Translation: MOSCOW, May 8 – RIA Novosti, Sergey Fuks. Almost five thousand people from 100 countries have applied to participate in the BRICS Games, said Maxim Denisov, director general of the ANO Directorate of Sports and Social Projects. The BRICS Games will be held in Kazan from June 12 to 23. “Preparation is going according to plan, but with some nuances. The list of sports needs to be finalized by May 15. For some there is a shortage of countries, we think we’ll still get 10 countries each. At the moment, we have received applications from 4,817 people from 100 countries “Repair work is still underway at a number of facilities,” Denisov said at a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Physical Culture and Sports.

Yes, the name of the guy is pronounced Fooks, not what you thought, you perverts;))) LOL. Now seriously--this is the start of dissolution of utterly corrupted and decomposing International Olympic Movement under the auspices of IOC. The putrid smell of the rotting corps of "Olympic" sports merely poisons atmosphere.

There are 160,000 tickets on sale, 15,000 of them have been sold. The  prices are very symbolic, as low as R100. This is the start. Kazan is gorgeous and has world-class facilities:
Kazan hosted a number of major events starting from World Cup 2018 to all kinds of other major sports events (World Championship in aquatics et al), so, it all should go smoothly and FSB, I am sure, are getting ready.

It Never Was About Facelift.

Although it came with the territory. Imagine this: take New York, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, SF and throw in places like Cleveland, Columbus, Portland and a few dozens of smaller ones and a few hundreds of large size towns and then literally destroy and deface in each of them at least half of the city, including wiping out industries and infrastructure. Well, in many listed above places this is what already happened. Look at Detroit or New Orleans, with large portions of Chicago. And then give the White House and governors of states where those places are a task and tell them that you have 10-12 years to turn those places into modern, clean, safe and aesthetically pleasing cities, while also solving completely the issues of homeless and putting other social ills under control. We all know, this is not going to happen.

Putin and his administration inherited a ruin of a country. They knew they had to rebuild practically anew and way better than it was before. Way-way-way better. I posted many similar videos before, this time it is about Kazan--unofficial third capital of Russia and capital of Tatarstan.

Do not forget, Kazan is a million+ city with enormous industrial plant, including Kazan aircraft plant. Helicopter plant, electronics, oil processing and chemistry plant and the list goes on, and on, and on. But you, of course, all know this plant because of this (it shows in the video for a couple of seconds--monument to Tu-22M).

And because of that.
And because of this too.

Putin industrialization will be standing next to Stalin's industrialization in its scope and scale. In a bizarre twist it was simpler for Stalin because he was building everything from the clean slate and he also hasn't been constrained by humanistic limitations--that was the time, and Stalin was the Man for the job--Stalin created a miracle which defeated Nazism and propelled Russia into space. Putin had to literally wrest most of the country from the hands of criminal groups and their fronts by means of re-nationalizing Russia's strategic assets. Moreover, he did what even Stalin couldn't do in reversing nationalities policies of Bolsheviks, not completely anyway. Putin did--he removed Middle Asian and Caucasus former republics of USSR from Russia's balance and made them facing a reality of independent, from Russia's investments, development. Needless to say, most failed miserably.

Those who have been driving Russians from their newly independent countries back to Russia, today they gather in millions around border checkpoints and immigration services in Russia ready to do any job, the dirtiest ones and low pay. Even this low pay in Russia allows them to support their families at home. Not all of those people are bad, but Russia is tightening controls and will not allow diasporas from all those OTHER "stans" and Caucasus to form and exert the influence. And here is the thing, Tatarstan is a shining example of what people can achieve when working together--it is Kazan and Tatarstan with their wealth, stability and safety who provide not just a shining example but also reproach to those who thought that they can really develop without Russia into something worthy of note. Too late now and if they ever will see any kind of serious integration, they will get mostly service functions away from the strategic industrial engine of Russia. Meanwhile, enjoy the transformation of Kazan.

About Pope...

... and how he has no clue... This is Shaman in Kazan, yes, Tatarstan capital and "the third capital of Russia", 9 days ago.

I don't know, how can you explain to some moron from Ivy League "history" department what it even means, they don't have organs developed for this.

Kazan Is In, Novosibirsk Is Next This Year.

SSGN of Project 885M Kazan has been officially transferred to the fleet today (in Russian).

Similar SSGN Novosibirsk will be transferred to the fleet later this year. Thus bringing the number of operational Yasen (Granay)-class subs to 3, with 6 others being built to bring the whole class of such subs to nine. These are tremendously powerful ships and are capable of carrying all nomenclature of Russia's cruise missiles from Kalibrs and Onikses to Zircons. Strategic ramifications of these subs entering acting fleet are immense. I wrote about what these subs can do not for once, so there is no need to repeat it again. Similar SSGNs Krasnoyarsk and Arkhangelsk should join the fleet in 2022. Not bad for a country with the economy smaller than that of Texas;)))

Zircon Flies Again.

3M22 launched again couple of days ago by Admiral Gorshkov, Russia's MoD provided video today. Reached M=8+, hit the floating target at 450+ kilometers range.

Pay attention to how carefully cloudy weather is chosen for launches. In related news Kazan launched 3M14 couple of days ago at the target at 1000+ kilometers, now she is getting ready for the launch of Zircon. Generally, one can see from the videos of two Zircon launches which were provided by Russia's MoD the insane acceleration which is achieved by the missile upon the exit from VLS (3C14).

Islam And Christianity In Kazan?

I knew some Tatar girls who were drop dead gorgeous. But this piece, certainly, shows what Engels meant when he said: For all its Slavic dirt and baseness Russia still provides civilizational influence to its Asian underbelly. Tatars were not "underbelly"--they were as Russian as they came in Ivan The Menacing (I hate this Anglo version of "Terrible"), Grozny, capturing of Kazan which is today a world-class city.

And then again, what is so "European" in Paris? Zero. My classmates, Tartars, went on fighting in Chechnya as battalion and regiment commanders of SOBR. So, it is more complicated. Actually, I knew also some Bashkirs who were damn good officers. Other than that--Kazan is stunning....

Second Yasen Afloat.

A big event. Today Sevmash launched second Graney-class SSGN of the project 885M, Kazan. These are powerful ships, capable of carrying 32 cruise missiles and, eventually, hyper-sonic 3M22 Zircon. Once all seven of these subs will be operational, Russian Navy will have a theoretical salvo of 224 cruise missiles of all classes from these subs alone. Adding here potentially other 372 cruise missiles which will be deployed at modernized Oscar-II and Akula-class subs, one can clearly see how a strategic non-nuclear containment will be implemented around Russia's approaches from the sea.

Here is what The Diplomat writes about these subs. Anyway, there will be parties today and not in Severodvinsk only, vodka, whiskey, champagne will flow and the reason for that is sound and heavy--13,800 tons of pure national security, a real one.
