Very Importnat Argument...

... between Colonel Macgregor and Judge Nap.

Tom Cotton is a military hack (despite being a "hero" in Afghanistan) who doesn't have a tool kit to grasp real warfare. He is a lawyer who went through OCS and some Ranger Course--these are, at best, basic lower tactical level "boots" for people with Bachelor's Degree. Knowing that these are from the US Army, you can make your own conclusions that Cotton has zero grasp of REAL operations and is a neocon amateur whose only task will be to feed MIC and neocon crowd.

You already noticed that the festivities are over and serious issues begin to pop-up. If any of these people--Cotton, Pompeo et al--make it to new Administration, forget it--it will be a repeat of his first admin. I assess such a probability as high and the US will continue to be pushed towards ruin as an extension of Israel, with some cosmetic measures here and there, and with continuous fluffy rhetoric to anesthetize the base. That is why I enjoy the meltdown of DNC and Democratic Party as a whole, and yes--we voted for Trump, but it was in choosing the lesser evil. For now I am in a wait and see mode, or in "giving a benefit of a doubt" mode. We'll know soon enough.

Larry Wilkerson's Valuable Insight...

... on Judge Nap's show. On culpability. Which only buttresses my constant point that neither Pentagon, let alone CIA, nor, let alone kindergarten in London know what real operations are and act on an amateurish template of Operational Manuals written for fighting people who cannot shoot back.

Now, today Russian MoD provided the "score" for Kursk.

Translation: "In total, during the military actions in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost more than 5,800 servicemen, 72 tanks, 31 infantry fighting vehicles, 58 armored personnel carriers, 383 armored combat vehicles, 177 cars, 37 artillery pieces," the ministry said in a statement. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost five anti-aircraft missile systems, 11 multiple launch rocket system launchers, including three HIMARS and one MLRS, nine electronic warfare stations, a counter-battery radar, an air defense radar, five units of engineering equipment, including two engineering vehicles and one UR-77 mine clearing unit. "The operation to destroy the Ukrainian Armed Forces formations continues," the Russian Ministry of Defense added.

Basically, a division has been wiped off the order of battle for VSU and Russian Army gladly continues to wipe out other reserves which are being thrown into this meat-grinder. As I stress all the time--the numbers of VSU losses are very conservative to put it mildly. E.g. double strike on VSU facility and concentration on VSU troops in Slavyansk today. Nobody would even count their 200s and 300s and they will not be included by Russian MoD into statistics.

That's the template thinking.

Larry Wilkerson...

... is spot on. Which also buttresses my constant point--the US as it exists today is not governable, and is not living in reality, including neocons who dominate Biden Admin and all of who, without exception, are military and foreign policy amateurs and dangerous ideologues.

Larry's Excellent Talk...

... to Judge, from St. Petersburg.

Pay also attention to the fact that for some reason (wink, wink) the upvote button is missing under this video.

Jeffrey Sachs...

... for all my respect for his position, is wrong here.

1. We ARE NOT on the path to WW III, we are already in WW III and the West already lost it. NATO has neither troops nor resources to introduce anything in 404. Russia's tactical nuclear drills was a message to European chihuahuas, primarily UK, after showing UK ambassador in Moscow the list of British targets Russia will strike OUTSIDE 404 if London continues with terrorism. Russia is not afraid of Article 5.

2. US is NOT a republic anymore--it is a corrupt uniparty oligarchy sliding towards totalitarianism. Its foreign policy and media are controlled by the state of Israel and Zionist lobby inside the US, which is based on a broad foundation of Christian Zionist population in the US.

3. US higher education as related to humanities is over. It has been over for some time. Eventually, all remnants of a free thought and facts-based academic study will be purged.

As I write for many years--the ONLY real test of nation, of the state is REAL war. It took SMO to completely tear down the fake edifice of the American "democracy" to expose a rotten scaffolding collapsing as I type this. Or, maybe, a proverbial brick wall by late Frank Zappa.

I Had To Post It Here.

Because my friends Larry and Ray and real professionals are talking to Judge and this must be on the front page of this blog. A crucial discussion. Sadly, YouTube doesn't allow, for some reason, to post it here. Here is the link to it. Must watch and listen.

Update: A-ha, looks like Blogspot cannot find and insert ANY video. So, once the service is restored, hopefully, I will post the video.

OK, the function is back. Here is the video--a MUST see.

I'll Just Leave It Here;)) Wink, Wink.

Judge and Alastair Crooke doing what they do best--telling the truth.

Do I enjoy my validations? You can bet your ass on that--I warned about it long time ago. Mrs. Zelensky, however, is repulsive, unlike it is the case with Justin's wife.

This Is Just The Start.

I do not say this under the influence of schadenfreude, I just say this because it is a cold hard fact and it will get worse, much-much worse.  WSJ noticed.

Europeans are facing a new economic reality, one they haven’t experienced in decades. They are becoming poorer. Life on a continent long envied by outsiders for its art de vivre is rapidly losing its shine as Europeans see their purchasing power melt away. The French are eating less foie gras and drinking less red wine. Spaniards are stinting on olive oil. Finns are being urged to use saunas on windy days when energy is less expensive. Across Germany, meat and milk consumption has fallen to the lowest level in three decades and the once-booming market for organic food has tanked. Italy’s economic development minister, Adolfo Urso, convened a crisis meeting in May over prices for pasta, the country’s favorite staple, after they jumped by more than double the national inflation rate. With consumption spending in free fall, Europe tipped into recession at the start of the year, reinforcing a sense of relative economic, political and military decline that kicked in at the start of the century.

It is inevitable in the times of the systemic collapse of the order under the weight of objective laws of economics and geopolitics. Remarkably, the creeps in WSJ, while making correct observation on Europe immediately fall into the cesspool of own economic BS attempt pathetically to draw a rosier picture of the US--a typical behavior of losers.

One has to ask the question--in what parallel universe these ignorant propagandists from WSJ reside, when American economic reality is anything but an unfolding calamity. But then again, the school of the economic legerdemain in the US--a euphemism for cooking books--is renown around the world as one of those affairs of a porn starlet selling herself as virtuous wife. Some still buy this BS, but reality, of course, is such that without consuming Europe, an ongoing process as I type this, the American decline would have been even steeper.

WSJ piece is reminiscent of the reaction of a convict on the death row consoling himself that he has a few more days to live left after the execution of the criminal from the neighboring cell. That in itself is an indicator of a nervous reaction. Especially claims that the US economy now "is nearly twice the size" of Eurozone's. Well, Wall Street "mathematics" certainly allows for this idiotic statement, but then again--in accordance to US media Ukraine is also winning. As Larry astutely noted at Judge's podcast:

It appears that the “Russia has lost” meme being pushed by Biden and his lackeys is to create an excuse for the United States to declare victory in Ukraine and walk away basking in the knowledge of “Mission Accomplished.” Based on what has transpired over the last 18 months, with the media refusing to ask any tough questions and frantically pushing pro-Ukrainian propaganda, I think the Biden national security team genuinely believes they can put the shine on Ukrainian military debacle by shouting victory over and over. They are firm believers in the power of spin. But the usually servile U.S. media is starting to show some signs of doing some actual journalism. A CNN reporter ventured to the front lines of a Ukrainian outpost and came back with a pretty somber picture of a faltering Ukrainian counter-offensive.

Watch Larry with Judge here:

Schizophrenia afflicted Western societies and US media, such as this low life tabloid WSJ. US media played a crucial role in driving the US into the ground while helping to destroy Europe and setting it on the course to what would be called a "Second World"--much lower wages, much lower consumption and continuous industrial decline until it... implodes. The same scenario is awaiting the US but with its own quirks and being delayed somewhat.

In SMO news, Russian Army took Sergeevka and continued to do what it does best--annihilating remaining VSU reserves. I'll be talking about delusion of Admiral Stavridis in my video later today. Evidently Stavridis missed bigly on the capabilities of Russia's Black Sea Fleet. Somehow, I am not surprised--American top brass, most of it anyway, paraded itself as militarily ignorant people who reside in the alternative warfare universe. I am not surprised.

Larry Makes...

 ... many very good points.

Again, F-16s, F-18s, F-35s are not going to make a difference whatsoever. Pentagon has NO concept whatsoever of the modern air-defense because it doesn't have one.

Larry Had A Very Good...

 ... conversation with Judge.

I have to admit--I laughed at the story about CIA computers and the circuit breakers))).

I Liked Larry's Eisenhower's Analogy.

Excellent talk with Judge.

By now only idiots from "Institute for NOT Study of War" didn't get the fact of why Russians sat into Strategic Defense (it doesn't mean that you do not go on offensive). Why chasing the enemy when it comes to you, and you kill it, is an excellent mode of conducting a war. As I am ON RECORD, Washington doesn't have a concept of all state's institutions working as a whole based on a coherent strategy and contingency planning. Yeah, I know, "strategy" is such a popular word.

Some Necessary Admissions From People In The Field.

Scott and Judge Napolitano discuss this admission:

Of course they didn't expect it, despite numerous warnings from people like Scott Ritter, Douglas Macgregor, Colonel Wilkerson, Daniel Davies and yours truly among very few others. I don't know what it will take to explain it to American politicians, most of who not only never served a day in the uniform, but cannot grasp even basic facts presented to them by Congressional Research Service in an easily digestible middle school book report form. Now, considering the fact, of which I am speaking ad nauseam, that the Russian Army didn't even combat deploy its mobilized 300,000+ reserves yet, and that there are enough true volunteers to conduct operations now, one can begin to appreciate the scale of the war Russia can conduct if the necessity arises, and that involves mobilization of the immediate reserve of roughly 2.5 million personnel. Make you own conclusions. It also stresses my point--last vestiges of competence and realism in the US are left in the US Armed Forces. The rest? Useless, credentialed ignoramuses.

I Warned About It Since 2014.

Colonel Macgregor, with the exception of his statement on Solzhenitsyn, basically confirms what I was preaching for many years.  No, not that Washington is incompetent--this has been a  fait accompli for decades now--but that the US is incapable to take on Russia militarily.

But even the title by Judge Napolitano is somewhat misleading: U.S. Not Prepared to take on Russia. The US is not just "not prepared", it cannot physically fight Russia without sustaining catastrophic defeat even if it spends next 30 years preparing for that fight. For starters, the US de-industrialization and societal ills permanently removed it from the largely self-proclaimed status of hegemon. The US will remain an important and influential country if it manages to keep itself intact (if), but, as I already stated, culturally the United States is not a continental military power. I deliberately used the all encompassing, history too, term "culturally", because military affairs of the nation are rooted in culture.

A short, in historic terms, departure of Russia from her position as a conventional military superpower in 1990s and 2000s was not due to America's military power which defeated Russians at the battlefield, it was largely due to self-inflicted wound and corruption of CPSU ruling elite, who fast refashioned itself into "liberal" democrats and formed anti-national oligarchy. This time has long since passed. Now, that the military-industrial might of Russia is being increasingly revealed, I have to go along with Colonel's assessment that Washington is simply preparing an excuse that "we did all we could". There is nothing the United States can send to 404, short of transferring US nuclear deterrent to Kiev regime, that can make any difference in the outcome of SMO. So, listen to Colonel and Judge and enjoy, if you will.
