Well, Sergei Victorovich ....

... I kinda have an idea HOW they "inform" Trump.

Real military expertise is hard to come by nowadays in NATO, while strategic intelligence and forecasting do not exist in NATO as a craft. Now, it has to be understood--Trump's surrounding know how he gets informed, by primarily watching a collection of talking heads cretins on Fox News. Here is an example:

Key Points - Russia's war in Ukraine has become a "meat grinder," with its military casualties expected to reach one million by the end of June 2025. While Russia has replenished its forces to be 15% larger than pre-invasion levels, drawing on a vast population and targeting poorer regions and prisons for recruitment, this strategy is ultimately unsustainable. -The cost is immense: staggeringly high equipment losses and minimal territorial gains (e.g., 100 casualties per square kilometer captured Jan-April 2025). -With 40% of its federal budget now dedicated to defense and national security, Russia's attritional approach may not be viable indefinitely.

Here is what happens when your pedigree is that of a grunt (NCO actually) who never faced a real war. He repeats GUR propaganda and he will not be able to assess reliability of information he gets (he gets BS) and that is expected from the guy with degree in political "science" and no knowledge of operations whatsoever--they don't teach NCOs or political "scientists" even basics of operational planning and high level tactics, not to speak of tools for understanding the grand strategy. So, here it is--a military-political ignoramus, obviously severely butthurt, but he has an "opinion". Yes, we know, opinion is like an asshole--everybody has one. But that is the type of military "professionals" who "inform" Trump.
