And then there is risk avoidance and after that--risk aversion. The foundation of the US perceived global power--the US Navy's Carrier Battle Groups lost physics and mathematics contest to anyone who understands Missile Combat, Salvo Model and has technological wherewithal to produce and field even a previous generation of weapons, which make CBGs fat prestigious targets.
