In the end, UK's influence on world affairs is grossly exaggerated, to the point of a grotesque fantasy, supported to a large extent by media exploitation of England's massive contribution to human civilization in XVIII-XIX centuries in industry, arts and science. So, let UK stew in its own misery and die out together with its pompous and corrupt "elites".
