You See ...

 ... she operates within the cognitive confines which require no in-depth understanding of the nature of SMO, and, by extension of Russia. Not to mention the fact that operating within US military bubble doesn't help--in fact, it confuses people and they fall for their own biases, especially when one considers such fraudulent academic background as "political science". She speaks arithmetic, trying to apply it to a differential equation. Her logic works only within narrow confines of a primitive model which is consistently wrong. Working at RAND and Carnegie altogether disqualifies her from offering any opinions on SMO, or Russia in general. 


But, that is why I love the conclusion of Herbert's Dune. It is one of those things which must be considered:
