No Way!

Really. Welcome to the reality. WaPo laments.

As Russian tanks, missiles and drones rumbled through Red Square on Friday for the annual Victory Day parade celebrating the surrender of Nazi Germany in World War II, President Vladimir Putin was joined by at least two dozen world leaders, marking a victory of his own as a leader the West has sought to isolate. After some subdued celebrations in past years with few tanks and almost no visiting leaders, Russia for this year’s 80th anniversary has welcomed Chinese leader Xi Jinping, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and the leaders of Slovakia, Serbia, Egypt, Vietnam, Venezuela and others from what Moscow calls “friendly countries” to its most solemn and emotional holiday. In the intense propaganda blitz for Victory Day, Putin is projecting himself as a confident, global leader on course to defeat Ukraine, with the alliance between the United States and Europe fraying, Kyiv’s forces under pressure and negotiations to end the war largely on Russia’s terms.

Poor, poor dears. They should have learned REAL history and not BS concocted by the courtier of "approved" historians, primarily of Hollywoodish variety, and unhinged "opposition" and dissidents from historic Russia.

The US Embassy in Moscow published this text:

The 80th anniversary of Victory in the European Theatre of World War II is not only a time of triumphant celebration, but also a moment of silence and reverent remembrance. We remember the sacrifices of the Russian people: the Siege of Leningrad – almost 900 days of debilitating hunger and fierce resistance. We remember Stalingrad and Sevastopol. We remember the grandmothers who dug trenches and the children who carried water and reports. We remember the contributions of American, Soviet and other Allied forces to achieve this common goal. The Red Army soldiers who fought for every mile, every village, to reclaim their land from the invaders. The young American soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day, who broke through the Ardennes in the Battle of the Bulge. The historic meeting of US and Soviet troops on the Elbe River. City by city, trench by trench, at the cost of countless casualties, the Allies together turned the tide of the war against Nazi tyranny. On this day we honor those whose sacrifices brought Victory. The victory was shared. And so was the memory of it.

Meanwhile, US SOBs are proud to present:
So, you know the spread ... Well, Russian air defense is no joke.

For Those Who Still Can Not Grasp ...

... the scale of the event. 80th is more than just Victory Day, it is pinning Europe (original West) down where it belongs--as the generator of aggression and genocide in the 20th Century. When I say that SMO is the final salvos of WW II I mean it. What is happening in Moscow today is formalization of the historic fact of civilization shifting to the East. The excitement, the emotion can be seen here in Myanmar (Burma) company singing Katyusha, in Russian no less, before entering the Red Square for rehearsal. The atmosphere is electric ...

I am sure Kiev was warned, including through the statement of Dmitri Medvedev, that if any attempt will be made on Parade, Kiev will cease to exist, including all political top of 404 and scumbags from London who prop this neo-Nazi regime up. Per General Kartapolov, Oreshnik should be on the Parade. We'll see soon enough.

May 9th Approaching ...

... and rehearsals continue. Chinese Armed Forces Honor Guards are met as rock stars in Moscow by Chinese tourists and Russian bystanders.

Vietnamese, fresh from celebrating their very own 50th Anniversary of Victory over the US, also march.

Then ...

But Mongols, they occupy a very special place in Russian hearts, a small but heroic nation whose contribution to the Red Army and USSR was immense, ranging from formations who fought at the front, to meat, to horses, to warm clothing (tulups) for the Red Army--they proudly share the glory of Victory. Deservedly so. And now a bitter part ... the US Army could have marched on the Red Square, deservedly so, but Washington chose a different path.

Russia Wrapped Up...

... celebrating Navy Day and here is the second part (in Russian) of Military Acceptance with focus on pr. 885 Kazan SSGN

In relation to which it is worth reminding on the tempo of introduction of subs of this class into the fleet.

And this is just in relation to this extremely advanced and deadly type. Here is also yesterday's photo from parade in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky...

Here is the first of six pr. 20385 Gremyashchiy corvettes for the Pacific Fleet. All 3M22 Zircon carriers. And the tempo of introduction of new ships and subs only increases. Look at the tempo for pr. 955(A) Borei-class SSBNs...
And pr. 545 Husky submarine platform is coming early 2030. So, once you put together everything across all classes of ships and submarines (mind you--Russia owns and builds massive fleet of Diesel-Electric subs) you see yourself a dramatic picture of the best sea-bases nuclear deterrent and Sea Denial force with incredible strike and air-defense arsenal. So, Russian Navy had a lot to celebrate yesterday.

This was a broadcast across all four fleets and one flotilla:

And do not forget that Russian Navy operates massive BRAV (Coastal Artillery and Missile Troops) and its own air component. So, as you might expect there was a lot of BS from 404 trolls and other Western fanboys who watched too much Hollywood. Butt-hurt is really bad...

Contributions and Costs.

This is not my headline, it is the title of the major concluding chapter in classic Glantz and House's Great Patriotic War history work: When Titans Clashed: How The Red Army Stopped Hitler. This book by two honorable US Army officers and scholars is of such power, that it continues (since its first edition in 1995) to serve as a holy water poured in buckets over the devil of Western "revisionism" and rewriting the history of the WW II.  Here is Larry Johnson's very much similar take on Victory Day.

Russia is still celebrating their victory over Nazi Germany. 9 May is the day the Germans surrendered to the allies with the Russians at the table. Why do you suppose that this is still a hallowed event in Russia while the vast majority of Americans ignore the end of Nazi Germany as something worth commemorating? The answer lies in history. If you ask an educated American who has some grasp of history about the bloodiest battles U.S. troops have fought, the top three are the Battle of Gettysburg (i.e., the American Civil War), the Battle of the Bulge and Iwo Jima. But I believe that 99% of that lot do not know how many actually died in battle. I think you will be surprised by the number of fatalities:

The bloodiest campaign in any war for the United States was Normandy, which started on 6 June 1944 and terminated on 25 August 1944 with a total of 29,204 killed in action. Raise your hand if you are surprised by the relative paucity of fatalities. Count me as one of the dumbfounded. I am not suggesting that these are meaningless numbers. If one of those who died in these battles was a member of your family the cost cannot be measured. But the reality is that the number of United States military personnel killed in action in the Civil War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War combined pales in comparison with the losses the Soviet Union (i.e., Russia) suffered in World War II.

Larry then justifiably goes into comparisons. And yet, Vladimir Putin who, as we all know is about to succumb to cancer, Parkinson's, dementia, HIV, COVID-19 and whatever other illnesses are out there, in accordance to human trash aka Western MSM journos, in his speech to Parade and the nation at the Red Square yesterday said:

Well, too bad Western elites have no concept of class and honor. But then again, sore losers who know price of everything and value of nothing are all like that.

This is Russian ambassador to Poland Sergei Andreev during laying the wreath at the Red Army cemetery in Warsaw.

He was doused with red paint by the protesters. Here is how Fox reported on that. Read the comments under that. That gives explanation to why Russia is not talking to the West anymore. But that is not what is remarkable about this whole thing. No. It is the fact that Poland's Minister of Internal Affairs (Interior Minister)--in Europe these are ministers of police and internal security--Mariusz Kaminski actually justified this attack.

Well,  what can I say. Just repeat what I said above--they don't know what class is.

In related news, Dmitri Rogozin put this boy Elon Musk in his place when responded to his bragging about Space X satellites being used against Russia and Musk's "ideas" about Nazism. As Rogozin wrote in his TG:

Translation: The native of South Africa, whose family accumulated its capital during Apartheid years, wants to explain to me, the son of a veteran of the front, the citizen of the country which lost 27 million people just killed alone during the war with fascism, the meaning of the word Nazism.

As I said: you cannot buy class and honor, they don't sell it in Ivy League schools or at the Wall Street. You either have it or you don't, Western elites don't.

In other news, however, as always, Western MSM got a huge shit-cake on their faces, again, since, as was expected, no "mobilization" was announced by Putin (it is absolutely not necessary), everybody seem to be in good spirit and healthy and, of course, apart from completely losing Popasnaya, VSU ran away from and abandoned Lisichansk and Russia organized a bloodbath for VSU at Zmeinnyi Island. To demonstrate what a sewer US MSM are, here is a snippet from May 8:

Well, evidently cretins from Forbes missed Rosgvardia marching at the parade. But then again, what do you expect from lower forms of life.

They will never understand.

I Couldn't Miss That.

These are Russian girls who are military cadets from academies after their match on the Red Square at the Parade on the 24th of June. The video is extremely telling in terms of fundamental, increasing, difference in idiosyncrasies between what is known as West and Russians. Especially in relations between girls and guys. I think, that apart being easy on the eyes, it is a very representative sample of a huge cultural difference between West and Russia. This difference is what plays to Russia's strength.
That is why US Embassy in Moscow flying the LGBT flag was received by overwhelming majority of Russians as a public self-humiliation by the US. In Russia, these girls and guys are real elite.

That's The Knife...I mean The Parade.

Remember this?

Well, that's THE Parade. The conclusion of Vostok 2018 maneuvers: Russia, China, Mongolia. More than 300, 000 troops from Russia's Far Eastern Military District, PLA and Mongolian Army. Russian Navy and PLAN.

The message is clear and requires no additional elaborations.

Sneak Peek.

Into upcoming May 9 Parade Air Force part rehearsals. The kid in the video sucks--he gets about 60% right. I kid, I kid.
