This Is What Mr. Kent ...

 ... for all his military-intel pedigree fails to understand. I want to make, however, an introduction of Mr. Kent through Larry who is qualified to judge Kent's intel background (follow the link). And I want to express my admiration for his courageous and patriotic choice. 

Having said all that, what he expresses to Tucker derives from Mr. Kent's, and let me be blunt here, lack of understanding of tactical-technical and operational situation with the "US defense" of Israel. There is NOTHING US military can do, short of using nuclear weapons (and even then), to improve on "defense" of Israel since this "defense" is nothing but a fairy tale, a myth propagated by the Pentagon. In this case, ignoring the statement about Trump being "qualified" for anything, this hypothetical "withdrawal" changes very little in already exposed and defenseless Israel. The only "withdrawal" which matters now is US financial support for Israel--good luck dealing with this issue. 

In other words, even despite his high level position in Trump Administration he is absolutely not qualified to pass judgements like this:

"Unlike the advertised Patriot air defense systems supplied to Ukraine by NATO countries, which, according to the experience of the NMD, turned out to be unable not only to cover the designated facilities, but also to resist modern Russian means of destruction, that is, to protect themselves," Andrei Semenov emphasized.

This is by Lieutenant-General Andrei Semenov, Deputy Commander of Russian Air-Space Forces (VKS) and Commander of AD/ABM Troops of Russia. With all my due respect to combat record of Mr. Kent, there is not a single Pentagon officer in existence who would approach even vicinity of academic and combat relevant experience of people of the scale of Semenov. Not to mention the fact of Russian Air Defense being on another level compared to what the US can offer to Israel. That very short period of time before main "eyes and ears" of any US AD complex are taken out. Iran demonstrated it in the last 18 days yet again. The best what the US can offer is simply not designed for modern war. And then there is this "teeny-weeny" issue with Mr. Kent's resignation letter, see the excerpt below. 

Well, well, well, so it is the United States now who, apart from treacherous murder of General Soleimani, defeated Hitler ... pardon me--ISIS. Poor-poor Russians, they have been dazzled by Trump's military "genius", granted this has happened in November 2015:

At that time Mr. Trump hasn't been the POTUS, not even close. CIA, however, was actively supporting, together with Mossad this very ISIS, while Russia already was blowing apart both from the air and, what is most important--on the ground. So, I do respect John Kent's courage in resigning, but his conclusions about Trump and views of REAL operations, as opposed to what the US military is known for--bombing and shooting brown people with TOE from the times of Sherman's March to the Sea--are not exactly up do date, putting it mildly, for all his combat merits in America's wars against people who could barely shoot back. Now, the US, after a demilitarization in SMO is facing off with people who do shoot back, while Trump is becoming a political corpse at an accelerated rate--so much for his "qualifications". I know, it hurts but I warned about the US being militarily a paper tiger long time ago. But what do I know, I never deployed to Afghanistan.
