Idiocracy In Action.

It is constantly in a front of our faces, when I speak and write about it--this thing is upfront, so much so that we simply do not pay attention to it, but here is why US military is reduced to what it is today and it was inevitable. Just listen to this:

These cretins put Dollar sign on everything, not understanding that firepower, operational-tactical impact, technological effect CAN NOT be measured in Dollars. Especially in the military which is grotesquely overrated and overpriced. So, how do you "measure" Dollar-wise this?

In accordance to Chinese satellite images, USS Gerald Ford is now in the Red Sea near Jeddah.

Here is how it looks on the map range-wise.

Roughly between 1,100 and 1,600 kilometers away positions from which Iran can launch something which obviously has a rather extended range and can reach the most valuable US Navy's asset--CVN. Remember this from 16 years ago?

Fortress at Sea? The Carrier Invulnerability Myth. America's nuclear-powered aircraft carriers, especially in today's irregular, asymmetric warfare climate, could be little more than slow-moving targets.

"Could be" is a wrong term, they ARE. The warning has come true. With it came a complete bankruptcy of US military across financial, doctrinal, operational and technological terms.

In related news, "mighty" French Air Force almost ran out of air-to-air missiles))

France Defense Minister Le Corny (ahem;)) gathers the emergency meeting, while the US ... dazzles with its production.

The United States builds about 90 Tomahawk missiles per year—far too few to maintain its current rate of fire against Iran.

That's about 3-4 days worth of Russia's expenditure of Kh-101, 3M14(M) Kalibrs and 3M22 Zircons with P-800 Onyx. This is for those people who still cannot wrap their brains around the scale of SMO.
