Some Visuals ...

... of "trophies" from VSU in Kursk.

Combined West IS what is shown here. Some more, some less. That's Europe. And here is an observation from Patrick Armstrong where he arrives to the conclusion that visceral hatred of Russia is organic to Anglos. He bases his conclusion on the historic evidence from the Crimean War.

Take Britain for example. At the moment London is the principal actor in the anti-Russia/pro-Ukraine camp; before that Cold War opponent; then ally against Hitler; then variable; then ally against Germany; then opponent in the Great Game; then enemy in the Crimean War; then ally against Napoleon and back and forth we go until the first and reasonably amicable trade contacts in Elizabeth’s time. From one to the other as interests dictated. But a month ago I read something that made me wonder if maybe the Russians had a point. It was Orlando Figes’ book on the Crimean War and I was astounded to see the same anti-Russia tropes that we see today.

Remarkably, it was Crimean War where the United States stood firmly behind Russia.

... with scarcely a dissenting voice, the American press and public appeared to conclude that the world was picking on its overseas friend, Russia. President Franklin Pierce… all but went to war with Britain and France on Russia’s behalf. U.S. Navy crews rescued the crew of the Russian ship Diana in the Far East. The U.S. Government furnished Russian forces with arms and sent a whole shipload of gunpowder to the defenders of the Siberian coast. Three hundred Kentucky riflemen offered to go to the Crimea, where volunteer American surgeons were already serving with Russian forces. The Russian Embassy in Washington D.C. was flooded with requests for letters of marque from American citizens who wanted to enter the service of the tsar as privateers against Britain. Frank Golder, no Russophile, would later write of the Crimean War, ‘By the time it was over the United States was the only nation in the world that was neither ashamed nor afraid to acknowledge boldly her friendship for Russia.’ The behavior of the United States during this war unquestionably impressed the Russians and strengthened the goodwill between two nations.”

But I also stress in my Disintegration book:

The Crystal Palace was a cast iron and glass structure which was erected in Hyde Park in London to house the 1851 Great Exhibition, a forerunner of international Expo events, which would serve as a place to showcase the achievements of participant nations. The Queen opened this 1851 exhibition, emphasizing that it was above all a “peace festival” intended to promote friendly competition between nations. But as Alan Palmer noted:

But Victoria and (prince) Albert were out of touch with the public mood, for the thousands who flocked to Crystal palace delighted in specifically British achievements and were content to cast curious glances of patronizing approval on what had come from overseas…

The exhibition was also marked with growing Russophobia, which was spurred by Tories and Whig businessmen who deplored the incursion of Russian traders into the areas which Britain considered her traditional markets, specifically in the Far East and Eastern Mediterranean, among others. In the end, British suspicions and displeasures with Russia, sublimations of their imperial policies, resulted in the Crimean War, which initiated a sequence of events which inextricably contributed to the Russian revolution and influenced the outcome of World War II—a defining event of both the 20th and to a large degree the early 21st centuries.

It was always there. It merely went to Eleven after WW II with USSR emerging as the superpower while Britain losing her empire and finding herself reduced to the America's vassal state. Today, UK is fast becoming a third world country and is confined to a small island off the western shore of Europe. With the exception of Rolls Royce and English Premier League, it is the nation which is simply insignificant in military and economic terms. They support 404 Nazis and this is only natural for the UK. Some exceptions merely confirm the rule. Per Canada--you saw everything you needed in Canada's Parliament--this is who they are as a country.

Patrick Armstrong...

 ... reminds us all.

On this day, 18 June, in 1935, the Anglo-German Naval Agreement was signed. The two sides agreed that the German Navy’s total tonnage would be fixed at 35% of the Royal Navy’s tonnage. Not, when you think about it, a very intelligent agreement from London’s perspective. One of the causes of the First World War had been British concerns about the size of the German Navy and yet where did they think this one-third-as-big navy would be based? Obviously in the North Sea; the British, with their world-wide empire, would have most of their ships elsewhere, In short, London was agreeing that the Germans could have near-parity in the waters closest to it. But worse. The agreement was the first violation by a great power of the Versailles conditions and had been done without consultation with any of Britain’s allies. It was the first, and therefore legitimating, agreement made by a great power with Hitler’s Germany.

Read the whole thing--you will understand why they cry so loud about Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. You will also be "surprised" that the SS ass-hole who was met with standing ovation in Canadian Parliament--you know, Hunka guy--is accused of killing 500 people among them Russians, Poles and Jews (in Russian). I think the guy should get tenure in either West Point or Sandhurst, before he dies. He surely has skills in "war".

Watch To The End.

It is very instructive and heartwarming.

As one Russian commenter stated:"You brought to Russia your most important treasure--your nine children." Well, community is doing now everything to get this wonderful Canadian family everything they need as fast as possible. You can understand why they are so emotional, especially after what they went through in their native Canada. You jump into the unknown and suddenly recognize that you are safe. I know, I can relate to this, because these were our new American friends who stood by us in 1990s and helped us immensely, we will never forget their kindness. It is Russia now, who dramatically limits Middle Asia immigration to Russia, while for people with the real Christian root the doors are opening wider. The Ark... and the last bastion of Western Civilization. Remember? Moscow is the Third Rome. Increasingly looks like the old prophesy from 16th century: Two Romes fell, a third stands, and there will not be a fourth one.

I have to admit--I scratch my head when observing the events of the last decade. It is down right creepy how the whole thing unfolds and how it matches some of the prophesies. Consider this call of Patriarch for Russia to lead the fight with antichrist (in Russian). This is serious, in fact it is as serious as it gets. This is not some sermon in church, this has been stated three days ago from the tribune of Russia's Federation Council (the upper chamber of the Federal Assembly). The consequences of this will manifest themselves over the long time period.

Judge And Larry.

Have a great discussion.

Especially in regards to Polish-404 issue. But now comes this question: did Russia plan for it? Plan for what, you may ask. Well, for accelerated implosion of the West. I now can convincingly say--yes. It is generally a normal practice for competent governments to do a contingency planning, same goes for any competent General Staff and today we see the outcome.

Gaius Baltar wrote an excellent piece on what is wrong with the Western political class.

A breakdown of diplomacy doesn’t quite describe how bad things have become. The behavior of US and European leaders has become increasingly unhinged and any semblance of rationality has been abandoned. It is impossible to listen to western leaders without coming to the conclusion that something is very wrong. Firstly, they seem to have created an upside-down fantasy world where Freudian projection rules and opponents are demonized. Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin are both Satan himself, Russia is still losing, and the West is still almighty – as well as the pinnacle of justice, freedom, democracy and culture. Secondly, they can’t seem to be able to open their mouths in public without insulting the non-western world. Joe Biden, Annalena Baerbock, Ursula von der Leyen, Josep Borrell and Emmanuel Macron have barely been seen in public for months without insulting someone. Borrel’s comment about Europe being the garden and the rest of the world a jungle is the pinnacle of this – because we all know what jungles are associated with.

The pressure is getting to the western political elites and they can’t keep a lid on their emotions and real opinions. They can no longer hide their hatred for anyone who resists them, or their contempt for them. Their doublethink, double standards, and extreme sense of entitlement, which justifies any action from them while condemning it from their opponents, is out in the open for all to see. All this, as well as their complete absence of competence and their total abandonment of reality, is very symptomatic for a certain type of people. That is not a coincidence as we shall see.

Correct: they are unhinged and incompetent. As I already stated--a shocking discovery of sheer incompetence of the US media military "expertise" from the US top brass is shocking because those people, even if they have been paid, have to maintain at least some believability to the nonsense they spew. But here is the problem--real military professional would have been able at least to frame the BS into some consumable form in order to have some ways to retreat and explain things away once the BS was exposed. Not the case with US generals--they went all in and, evidently, many of them sincerely believe the BS they spew. That is shocking and, in some bizarre sense, inevitable against the background of the US Army losing one war after another, raises the question among Russian military professionals if those people are competent at all, even considering an acute case of professional envy and jealousy they experience.

This is the new paradigm for Russia. Russians knew all along that most about NATO military was pure PR, but now--the only hope remains that some people in Pentagon are competent enough to see a disaster they helped to unleash and they can see where it all leads to. They are, as I am on record for years, the last vestiges of some remaining competence and connection to the reality in the West. After Canada's Parliament and some high ranking Canadian officer enthusiastically cheering on the veteran of 14th Waffen SS Division during this weekend, one has to assume that many of them are simply in the process of unbecoming the officers.

Now, we get to the next act of the "drama" and a whole new wave of desperation, denial and hatred in D.C. because of that:

Ukraine has received the first batch of US-made M1 Abrams tanks promised by Washington this winter, President Vladimir Zelensky said on Monday, confirming a New York Times report from earlier in the day. Writing on Telegram, Zelensky said the Abrams main battle tanks “are already in Ukraine and preparing to reinforce our brigades” while thanking Kiev’s allies for their support. The delivery was first reported by the New York Times, which cited two US defense officials as saying that the tanks arrived in Ukraine “months ahead of initial estimates.” The shipment, according to the article, could help Kiev in its ‘counteroffensive’ against Russia, which has been going on for more than three months but has failed to gain any ground. Neither the Times’ sources nor Zelensky would say how many Abrams tanks Ukraine has received thus far. In late August, Politico reported that the US planned to deliver ten of the 31 tanks promised by President Joe Biden in late January by mid-September.

These are older versions, wouldn't matter if they have been the latest ones--the outcome is going to be the same, burning Abrams tanks will be gladly paraded by Russians for everyone to see and that marks, with the exception of those F-16s, the limit the US reached in terms of what she can supply to 404. The conclusion is not only merited but irresistible--the combined West failed at war. And here is the punchline--Russians did plan for that, they just couldn't anticipate that the West would self-annihilate that fast. After today's Volodin's statement things get even clearer.

Ukraine to either surrender on Moscow’s terms or cease to exist — top Russian lawmaker.

You see? After that--it is NATO's turn. Very simple.

Ooops.

I don't follow Olympics, which have been, at the insistence and machinations of the combined West, completely discredited, but this, boy, just read the comments from Americans under this video.

Rumor has it, that Churchill once said about Field-Marshal Montgomery that Monty was 'Indomitable in retreat, invincible in advance, insufferable in victory.' I am not going to discuss the veracity of this Churchill's quote--it seems very accurate re: Monty--but if there are people who could have been worse than insufferable in victory, that would have been US Women's Soccer National Team, and its uber woke flaming Social Justice Warrior, and mediocre player, Megan Rapinoe. Should this knee-bending, third-wave feminism obsessed squad have won, we all wouldn't hear the end of it, despite the fact that their level of play and physical ability is that of a junior semi-amateur 15-year old boys soccer team. This is what I am talking about:

In preparation for two upcoming friendlies against Russia, the U.S. women’s national team played the FC Dallas U-15 boys academy team on Sunday and fell 5-2, according to FC Dallas’ official website.

That is why, frankly, Men's World Cup in soccer is the greatest most watched event in planet's sports' life and it dwarfs Olympics, NBA, NFL and other events by the order magnitude. But still: Thank you, Canada for defeating them and sparing us from listening their insufferable, obnoxious and arrogant self-praise. Yet, there was an American soccer team which not only was good, damn good but it literally made a world fall in love with it because they juts out of nowhere came out to show an amazingly beautiful and mature game and if not for the atrocity committed against them by the referee in the game against Germany, where US National Team dominated Germans, we could have seen the first ever North American team playing in WC finals. I remember Russian sports media applauding and admiring that team and its style (in Russian). It was difficult not to. An amazing counter-attacking machine, which could go to finals. In fact, they belonged there.

I remember those guys, like it was yesterday. They really made America proud and they, not Germany, should have played co-hosts, South Korea, in semi-finals. But it was one of the most blatant non-calls in the history of the sport which stopped these guys. Should they have equalized from penalty, they would have won Germany which was on its last legs, trying to beat back waves of the American attacks. This is HOW you win hearts and minds, not parading own woke self-righteousness and bending knees. Rapinoe and squad better watch videos of the US National Team at the World Cup in 2002--there is a huge lesson there.  This is how you make half of the world root for you, not against you, they call it a Beautiful Game for a reason. That is how American boys did it in 2002, they played beautifully and honorably, and made people fall in love with their game.

A Crucial Difference.

At some point you get emotionally overloaded with the crap in real life. But there are places where one goes both physically and in the imagination to get a peace of mind. Forestalling a possible challenge: but there are places like this in Russia. Yes, there are, such as stunning Altai

But there is a crucial difference between Altai and Montana Glacier Park or Banff in breathtaking Alberta--places, among very few in the world, which have almost a spiritual influence on me with their indescribable beauty. For me, to get from Altai to another life necessity of a big water--the ocean--I will have to get to Gorno-Altaisk, then to Novosibirsk to take a plane to Vladivostok, or Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to feel the mighty breath of the Pacific--a 3,000 miles flight. A 5 or so hours affair.

But when you are in the magical Montana, in Glacier National Park:

Or driving through Alberta:

You are never more than 6-7 hours drive from the Pacific Ocean shores.  And that matters. You just have to be near, within reach of those places. Middle Russia is flat, even mountainous Ural is very low, Caucasus can rival Rockies but it is Caucasus, and no ocean, just the seas. It is a bizarre feeling of finding in the beauty of Rockies and near pacific something which simply warms your soul. Western North America (US and Canada) are simply indescribable in their beauty and they are near ocean. Because you need to be near this too:
It has a healing quality of sorts to be here (Russia's Far East Coast near Vladivostok is similar) and they are always within reach. I think we need to take breaks from the chaos of life in those true safe spaces.
