To lift sanctions the US needed a PR action which would disarm critics. This PR action worked brilliantly. Guess from three times who gets enriched mightily? Right, Russia. Me repeating this point ad nauseam for many years that Russia WILL talk to the US was, naturally, ignored by collection of kindergarten kids who want WW III, famine, deteriorating situation everywhere et al. They, as we all know, are real professionals in geopolitics and diplomacy/s. The fact that the US has been forced to ask Putin for relief is somehow ignored. Poor, poor petulant dears. 

What they also ignore is THIS:

And he wants to make problems for the world,” Trump said. “And what does he do? He goes and hits the diesel fuel.”

No, Poland and Europe, you said you don't need Russian gas--you are on your own and if you have money (they will steal Russia's funds--that's 100% guarantee now) to pay for it--you will pay market price.
