It is not about training, obviously. It is about keeping this 404 meat from trying to escape. The maximum "training" those unlucky SOBs can get there is primarily abuse and a few rounds from AK, how to crawl, how to throw a grenade and how to, at best, "maneuver" as the couple-threes or squad (seven-ten). All within a few days. After that--a direct path to the meat grinder and then ... well, you all know what. But then again, these are Nazis and they know how to construct concentration camps.
