How This And Burevestnik ...

 ... are connected and not in a good way for Elon Musk, Space X and the US in general. It matters after yesterday's comments of Vladimir Putin on Burevestnik's propulsion. 

As strange as it sounds, but Musk's "audience" consists primarily of people with zero serious STEM education, liberal virtue signaling schizoids and zits-ridden soyboys and girls who ejaculate each time some SpaceX thing parks after the flight creating the illusion that Musk's promise of flight to Mars is to be fulfilled. I have news for them--no, SpaceX is not taking you or anyone else "to Mars". Chemical rockets cannot serve as the foundation of manned (as in--having HUMAN crew) missions to Mars, let alone other planets and planetoids of Solar System. Those chemical rockets are good primarily for delivering payloads to near Earth orbits where space stations and REAL starships will be assembled. The ones which will have enough thrust and power to accelerate massive ships to a non-trivial fraction of the light speed, say 600 to 1,000 km per second. 

Enter Burevestnik and Putin's revelation yesterday--a critical revelation:

The missile’s reactor “is comparable in output with a reactor of a nuclear-propelled submarine, but it’s 1,000 times smaller,” Putin said. “But the key thing is that where a regular reactor needs hours, days or weeks to go online, this one launches in minutes or seconds.”

And I think that we will not stop work in this direction, and somewhere in the 2030s and 40s, the product will be practically used for deep space exploration, for scientific programs," Borisov said.

It is clear now that a historic breakthrough has been achieved and that overturns our understanding of the REAL space travel with proper acceleration, cruise and deceleration near the target, not "shots" of vehicles with cramped quarters to save space for fuel and supplies. That changes the whole economics of space exploration. Many still cannot wrap their brains around what just happened with Burevestnik, I'll help, it is called technological revolution. Again, look at the size of these Russian ion engines:

They are almost impossible to shoot down by any NATO AD system, including by shipborne systems. Larry Is Meeting Some ...

There is a lot to be admired about Malofeev's but there are also questions about his sometimes peculiar stances on a number of issues--rumor has it he provided a cover for former Maidan "sotnik" and the so called "expert" (in reality nobody) Yuri Podolyaka who has to be by now behind bars for outright pro-404 propaganda. If true, that, together with sometimes downright ridiculous reporting by Tsargrad, must be considered in otherwise decent status of Malofeev. But we will file this for a later time. Meanwhile.

I have had an interesting series of meetings since arriving in Moscow last Wednesday. I am getting the chance to have in-depth chats with a variety of military and political leaders. I attended a dinner tonight with Lt. General Apti Alaudinov, who played a major role in destroying the Ukrainian force that invaded Kursk last year. The operation led by General Apty Alaudinov involved Russian forces using a gas pipeline as a clandestine route to recapture the town of Sudzha in the Kursk region in March 2025. The operation began when Russian special forces, studying the map and the Ukrainian gas shutdown, identified a strategic tunnel created by Ukraine at the gas pipeline, the main route used for Russian gas transit to Europe. They then undertook a meticulous plan to infiltrate the area through this pipeline, which involved digging a tunnel and preparing it for an assault.

A very important point, which Alautdinov makes--he, as well as overwhelming majority of Russians hate war. Read it on Larry's blog.

In an interview published on Saturday by The Independent, Field Marshal David Richards – who held his post from 2010 to 2013 and earlier commanded NATO forces in Afghanistan – accused Ukraine’s backers of failing the country. Western countries, he argued, encouraged Kiev to fight, but they have “not given them the means to win.” “My view is that they would not win,” even if Ukraine were given all the necessary resources, he said. “They haven’t got the manpower.” According to Richards, the only scenario in which Ukraine could hope to win is a direct NATO intervention, “which we won’t do because Ukraine is not an existential issue for us.”

It is not surprising for a man who hails from the country which doesn't have real army or real professional officer corps education. He has a degree in International Relations and obviously has no idea about what modern war is. Completing 42 weeks Higher Command and Staff Course from King's College does not make real serious operational (forget about strategic) planner, period. Simple as that--one MUST have a serious STEM with a strong focus on military technology background, period! And then, of course, comes the REAL history of modern operations ... If Richards wants to take a look at how graduates of those British military degree mills performed--he should study how they managed to kill 80,000 VSU (and NATO) cannon fodder on 159 square miles of Kursk "offensive". So, without all that what one has are wet dreams.

I repeat again--AI, Artificial Intelligence, does not exist. Neural networks based on English language searches (libraries) are as "reliable" as WiKi. So, can you imagine what kind of military decisions one can make based on ChatGPT? But then again, Royal Navy had to run ad at LinkedIn to get itself a Commander of its submarine force.

Convict Him!

Former National Security Adviser John Bolton fired back after he was indicted Thursday, vowing to fight the charges and “expose” President Donald Trump’s “abuse of power.” Bolton served during Trump’s first term, leaving in September 2019 and evolving into a fierce critic of his former boss — winning him praise from Democrats and Never Trump Republicans but putting him in the president’s crosshairs, especially after Trump won re-election and with it, access to government power again. In August, the FBI raided Bolton’s home, reportedly related to a national security investigation into classified documents and notes he sent himself on an AOL email account while he was working for the Trump administration. Thursday, a Maryland grand jury returned an indictment against Bolton, charging him with eight counts of transmission of national defense information and ten counts of retention of national defense information. Bolton, both directly and through his legal representation, has repeatedly denied that he mishandled classified materials, and he issued a longer statement Thursday evening specifically responding to the indictment.

Bolton was critical in sabotaging already weak US governance during DJT's first term and was instrumental in Russiagate hoax. Cowardly cuck and chickenhawk who deserves to spend the rest of his pathetic life behind bars. This is good news.

For a brief period it appeared as if President Trump had changed his strategy on Ukraine, after months of fruitless peace talks aimed at finding a diplomatic resolution to the war with Russia. Trump said last month that he believed Ukraine could beat Russia on the battlefield with more help from the West. He followed that up earlier this week by saying he might arm Ukraine with powerful Tomahawk cruise missiles that are capable of striking deep into Russian territory, putting Moscow within range. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and other senior U.S. officials also ratcheted up their rhetoric against Moscow in recent days, ahead of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to the White House Friday — a further sign, it seemed, of the shift in thinking inside the administration amid growing frustration with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s refusal to end the war. Then Trump spoke to Putin Thursday, and threw all of that into question.  

As I repeat ad nauseam--the only thing the US can produce militarily now is bluff and threatening rhetoric. Morons in US MSM are just that--they are morons and do not understand their own BS noise. 

Can the US supply these beautiful, powerful, shiny TLAMs to 404? Yes, it can. But then the issue arises--how do you launch them from 404 territory? Typhoon? All (like three or five) of them are in Philippines and other places in Asia. This Oshkosh X-MAV or whatever the fuck this cardboard shit is--it doesn't exist as a weapon system. 

So? Well, Vladimir Putin explained to Donald today, during the phone call, that the only way the US can launch TLAMs against Russia FROM the territory (and possibly air space) of 404 is by basing B-52 or B-1B Lancers at air fields INSIDE 404. That also means that once those TLAMs are released against targets inside Russia, most military-intel targets and US (and NATO) personnel cease to exist all over Europe (together with 404, of course) and the new civilization emerges within next 1 to 2 hours. But then, Donny is correct, the US needs those TLAMs because to get even a hundred or so leakers against Russian targets, the US will need most of its TLAMs arsenal, if to imagine that the US launches outside 404. One, single salvo. There will be no second one. Meanwhile, decommunization of 404 cities continues unbated. 

404 IS NOT going to have modern power generating capability and grid again. It doesn't need it--agriculture, while energy consuming, is nowhere near energy needs of the machine building complex, which 404 is not going to have.
