They evidently do not intent to smash it. As I state non-stop, Russia should repatriate all graves of Red Army soldiers as well as monuments from Europe. Especially from Poland and Germany. This monument should also be bought from Poland and brought back where it belongs--in Russia. Poland does not deserve those memories. They will lie and rewrite (almost complete by now) history anyway. After all, it was Obama's uncle who liberated Auschwitz and these were Patton's and Montgomery's troops who liberated Poland. Likely Russians will also be accused of raping 35 million Polish women.
