Backgrounds.

While the whole front is on the move.

Absolutely Misplaced.

I am talking about professional criteria (which my today's video is about).

WASHINGTON (AP) — President-elect Donald Trump stunned the Pentagon and the broader defense world by nominating Fox News host Pete Hegseth to serve as his defense secretary, tapping someone largely inexperienced and untested on the global stage to take over the world's largest and most powerful military. The news was met with bewilderment and worry among many in Washington as Trump passed on a number of established national security heavy-hitters and chose an Army National Guard major well known in conservative circles as a co-host of Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends Weekend.” While some Republican lawmakers had a muted response to the announcement, others called his combat experience an asset or said he was “tremendously capable.” Hegseth's choice could bring sweeping changes to the military. He has made it clear on his show and in interviews that, like Trump, he is opposed to “woke” programs that promote equity and inclusion. He also has questioned the role of women in combat and advocated pardoning service members charged with war crimes.

His combat experience in Afghanistan is irrelevant within the framework of global balance of power and to "tame" Pentagon one needs a huge expertise in procurement and R&D, which automatically disqualifies Hegseth on this merit alone. It is all fine and dandy to command a company, but many people forget that USMA at West Point USED TO BE (not anymore) a good engineering school first and foremost. I'll give you a mental experiment... Take an aging fart like me and put me in charge of the staff of, say, coastal missile systems (Bastions), restore my clearance and give me a month or two in the formation, without unnecessary humbleness--I will be able to run it and provide for acceptable combat readiness. Get my aging ass to some missile corvette--same shit, after a month or two I will be able to command it or to become COS of the brigade of such ships. I will be able to do it because I have fundamental military-engineering background which is a MUST for such tasks. Hegseth has degree in... Politics. Now imagine this guy taking on utterly corrupt R&D and procurement policies of Washington. I don't think so.

And then, of course, there is SMO, Russia and 21st century battlefield, which was utterly absent in Iraq and Afghanistan. But then again, Lisa Franchetti has degree in journalism and in business from the on-line college. She is CNO (Chief of Naval Operations)--Chester Nimitz and Elmo Zumwalt are spinning in their graves. Let me remind WHO was the guy behind stunning technological development and industry reorganization in Russian Armed Forces. Compare:

Yury Borisov was born on 31 December 1956 in Vyshny Volochyok. He graduated from Kalinin Suvorov Military School [ru] in 1974 and from Radioelectronics Higher Command School in 1978. In 1980s he studied mathematics at the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Moscow State University from which he graduated in 1985. Borisov is married and has two children. For 20 years from 1978 to 1998 he was enlisted into the Armed Forces of both the Soviet Union and Russia. He was Federal Agency on Industry deputy head in October 2007 and became Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade in July 2008. He was a Military-Industrial Commissioner for Russia in March 2011 and as of 12 November 2012 under Presidential Decree, Borisov was promoted to Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation.

That's the caliber of people and their competencies one needs to change things. No additional comments are necessary...

Beauty All Around.

Be that Su-57 flown by Sergei Bogdan or Chinese beauty next to him. Russia signed first export contracts for Su-57.

I Can Tell You Upfront...

... that Trump's new national security advisor Mike Waltz who is described in these terms:

"Mike is the first Green Beret to have been elected to Congress, and previously served in the White House and Pentagon," Trump said in a statement announcing his latest cabinet pick. "Mike served in the Army Special Forces for 27 years where he was deployed multiple times in combat for which he was awarded four Bronze Stars, including two with Valor." "Mike retired as a Colonel, and is a nationally recognized leader in National Security, a bestselling author, and an expert on the threats posed by China, Russia, Iran, and global terrorism," the statement added. "He serves as a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Mike is a distinguished graduate with honors of the Virginia Military Institute. Mike has been a strong champion of my America First Foreign Policy agenda, and will be a tremendous champion of our pursuit of Peace through Strength!"

Is not an expert "on the threats posed by China, Russia,  Iran and global terrorism" and especially on Russia, because there are about zero people for the least 20+ years in both House Armed Services and House Foreign Affairs Committees who have any clue about the world outside and the modern warfare. He cannot be an expert, considering his alleged support for a delusional and utterly obsolete concept of "Peace Through Strength" for the United States. Waltz worked for Donald Rumsfeld--the guy who failed miserably in his understanding of the warfare and applied geopolitics. TOE of the US Armed Forces is a testament to the views of these people, not that anyone else would have fared better by screwing US doctrinal development so profoundly. Somebody has to tell the guy that "Strength" based on TOE from 1990s is not strength.

I had a very tenuous hope for Trump calling on Colonel Douglas Macgregor for the position of National Security Adviser, well ... we all knew what was coming, didn't we. Waltz is a "specialist" in high intensity police operations in Afghanistan, wow ... Degree in "International Relations" from VMI kinda gets you some ideas. So, the "special forces" guy with zero understanding of technological and economic drivers of the modern war will be a classic US gung ho "advising" Trump. Well, looks like we exchanged one set of neocons for another. Ah, well ... the more things change, the more they stay the same.  Next in line is a chores boy for Adelson's family Marco Rubio ...

Urgent! Popcorn Needed In Large Volumes.

Otherwise, how can one take this cretin seriously.

The former prime minister also pointed to the prospect of the US cutting aid to Kiev as a potential risk, claiming some people with “wrong” views on the issue were in president-elect Donald Trump’s inner circle. “Donald Trump has lots of different voices in his ears and there’s a front of the Republican Party, quite a lot of them actually, who take the wrong line on Ukraine,” he said. If aid to Ukraine is reduced and Kiev starts losing, London could be forced to deploy troops to the region, Johnson claimed. “We will then have to pay to send British troops to help defend Ukraine,” the politician stated.

I know, he is not the brightest of already dim lot, but if any professionals are left in the UK Ministry of Defense, they have to tell him to stop parading UK in the front of the whole world as a joke. It has been humiliated enough already, especially its, quoting Douglas Macgregor (not to be accused of anti-British bias) lilliputian armed forces which will fail to defend Wembley Stadium, not to speak of whatever this moron wants to defend in 404. It shows, degree in Classicism (yep, that's BoJo's background) and belonging to all kinds of self-proclaimed "elite' clubs in London one statesman makes not.

Meanwhile Russian Armed Forces methodically eradicate whatever is left of Kiev's air defense ...

And continue to break through VSU lines ... everywhere. Russians are near the center of Kurakhovo, which in itself is being surrounded (nice cauldron is forming), Zaporozhie Front is on the move, and Russians are already inside Kupyansk. BoJo needs to think really fast how many ... dozens of brave British warriors he wants to send to 404. I am sure he can assess required force really easy, after all--he knows how ancient classic civilizations fought, right?

How Do You Know They Lost.

They turn into petulant kindergarten children. Such as Admiral Rob Bauer--the man has no self-respect and, obviously, is an amateur for the real warfare of the 21st century. Pathetic.

Mikhail Kovalchuk Interview.

A very important interview to Ria. Who is Mikhail Kovalchuk? He is the President of the National Research Center Kurchatov Institute. Who is Igor Kurchatov? Well, he is the father of the Soviet A-bomb. So, you do understand now how immensely important this Institute is for fundamental science and national security of Russia. Here is its President talking.

Translation: Russia has stopped "fertilizing" the world with its brains - scientists from other countries now come to us for the opportunities that are opening up, says Mikhail Kovalchuk, president of the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute". In an interview with RIA Novosti, he told us in which areas Russian science retains its leadership, how CERN hunts for Russian physicists, whom it itself got rid of, how Kurchatov helps SVO, why it is so important for our country to develop its own technological agenda, and also shared plans for the exploration of the Moon and the creation of a nuclear-powered subglacial gas carrier, and explained why the Kurchatov Institute should engage in winemaking. Interviewed by Vladimir Sychev and Dilyara Solntseva.

Read the whole thing (Google Translate will do) and pay attention not only to the arrogance of Europeans, but to this thing:

They really do work on this monster--360 meters long and 180,000 tons of displacement. Well, this is not new, there were some propositions for converting legendary monsters of pr. 941 Akula (not Typhoon--it is NATO designation) into liquid gas carriers.

The problem--one has to have fully autonomous (robot) nuclear reactor. They do work on it.  So, read the interview and you will get some ideas.

I See No Point...

... at this stage to discuss anything, if... I underscore it IF this call took place at all. Knowing who human waste at WaPo are it wouldn't be beyond them just to make this shit up.

US President-elect Donald Trump has called Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the Ukrainian conflict and its potential settlement, The Washington Post reported on Sunday, citing several people familiar with the matter. The phone call took place on Thursday, shortly after Trump secured his election victory. The US president-elect reportedly urged Putin not to “escalate” the conflict, reminding him of the significant US military presence in Europe, one of the sources told the daily. Apart from that, Trump and Putin spoke about “the goal of peace on the European continent,” with the US president-elect expressing interest in follow-up conversations to talk about “the resolution of Ukraine’s war soon,” several other unnamed individuals told the WaPo. The report gave no insights into what reaction, if any, Trump’s remarks invoked. Thus far, Moscow has made no official comments on the reported phone call between Trump and Putin. On Thursday, the US president-elect told NBC News he had already spoken with “probably” 70 world leaders since his election victory, but Putin was not among them. “I think we’ll speak,” Trump said at the time.

Somebody has to explain to Trump what required force is and that currently the totality of the US Armed Forces doesn't have enough force to fight Russia in the East, let alone this allegedly stressed by Trump "significant presence".  Peace is, of course, good but it is not coming on NATO's, US that is, conditions. If he thinks that Russians are impressed with "significant presence", he should talk to Doug Macgregor or Daniel Davis, they may enlighten him on what is going on. In related news.

At this stage, I think, it is about time to allow Mr. Kinzhal or Mr. Zircon to visit some French military installations or maybe reduce Marine Nationale's list of frigates or corvettes just to demonstrate to these cowards that their place is that of poodle who ate master's shoes and needs to be punished.

Iwo Jima...

... as a reference point. Trump's future cabinet.

I Agree With The Title.

About Germany.

It doesn't matter who comes to power in Germany, national consensus (yes, including the majority of population) is to settle score with Russia. It is a way to deal with WW II trauma. Germany as a nation is Russia's enemy.

That's The Plan...

... at least this is how it looks like for now.

European Union leaders are discussing whether they can afford to keep financing the Ukrainian military if US President-elect Donald Trump decides to pull Washington’s support for Kiev, Bloomberg reported on Friday. At a meeting in Budapest on Thursday, EU officials “held discussions on whether the bloc will be ready to foot the bill for the war,” the American news outlet reported, paraphrasing anonymous sources. According to one of these sources, the “big concern is that Trump will seek to shift the financial burden on Europe.” Trump repeatedly promised on the campaign trail to end the conflict within “24 hours,” but offered few specifics as to how he would achieve this. However, he said on numerous occasions that Washington’s European allies would have to “pay up” if they want to keep fighting, and reportedly plans on leaving the Europeans to pay for and enforce any post-conflict security arrangement.

For those people who still ride the high from the election win for MAGA, I'll pour some cold water on their expectations. Trump cannot stop anything in 404 no matter how he tries, or whatever hollow outward PR effects he may employ, what he wants is to freeze SMO and then put the burden of supporting 404 on Europe's shoulders. That's the plan. It is stupid, almost childish plan, but half of it may still work--that is making EU pay for 404. And here we have to understand one very important fact--it was EU which played a crucial role in unleashing the mayhem on Maidan in 2013 and then lied to Russian face during Minsk Accords. EU doesn't have capability and capacity to really aid 404--NATO has been largely demilitarized. No matter what EU does--it is over for Europe and with the exception of some critical technological and industrial competencies, Europe will be made (already in progress) poor but wealthy enough to buy crappy American weapons, which should "guarantee" Europe's "defense" against those hordes of Russians.

We All Know...

... that we will grind our teeth at him, because he deserves it. Yet, let's admire for a moment the First Lady who is simply a Slavic girl who carries herself as is appropriate to a First Lady, and she knows what she is worth. And something tells me she is more than just an ornament...

Yes, This Is When He Won The Election...

We knew this, Putin knew this.

You literally cannot make this photo deliberately...
It is one of those shots of the century which goes into the text books. And on coins, of course;))

This Is Why I Repeat...

 ... ad nauseam about Europe.

Translation: SOCHI, November 8 - RIA Novosti. There are decent and consistent politicians in Europe, but there are very few of them - you can count them on the fingers of one hand, said Russian President Vladimir Putin. "He (former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder - ed.) is a very decent and consistent person. There are few like him, there are such people in Europe, but there are very few of them - you can count them on the fingers of one hand. One hand will be enough," Putin said at a meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club.

This is not just the statement of facts, it is a sentence. Europe is a collection of political shysters and prostitutes at all levels of power in Old Europe. Look at France, UK and Germany, enough said.

Oh, It Is Way More...

... than 500,000 KIAs, way more, Jeffrey. When the whole scale of this catastrophe, including for EU and the US, will be revealed--the world will gasp. But I agree, it is Biden's (Obama's) project.

US "planners" are a joke--all of them, including most of the US academe.

Very Importnat Argument...

... between Colonel Macgregor and Judge Nap.

Tom Cotton is a military hack (despite being a "hero" in Afghanistan) who doesn't have a tool kit to grasp real warfare. He is a lawyer who went through OCS and some Ranger Course--these are, at best, basic lower tactical level "boots" for people with Bachelor's Degree. Knowing that these are from the US Army, you can make your own conclusions that Cotton has zero grasp of REAL operations and is a neocon amateur whose only task will be to feed MIC and neocon crowd.

You already noticed that the festivities are over and serious issues begin to pop-up. If any of these people--Cotton, Pompeo et al--make it to new Administration, forget it--it will be a repeat of his first admin. I assess such a probability as high and the US will continue to be pushed towards ruin as an extension of Israel, with some cosmetic measures here and there, and with continuous fluffy rhetoric to anesthetize the base. That is why I enjoy the meltdown of DNC and Democratic Party as a whole, and yes--we voted for Trump, but it was in choosing the lesser evil. For now I am in a wait and see mode, or in "giving a benefit of a doubt" mode. We'll know soon enough.

For This Alone...

... we can be thankful, because the pseudo-civilization of freaks got burned. That is positive.

In this respect, these elections have been very indicative and signaled that Americans retain, unlike their European counterparts, a degree of common sense which will be crucial for the adjustment of the United States to its new status of just another Great Power. This process is objective and does not depend on will of America's political class, but this class can make some arrangements to prevent the US from a complete collapse. Per DJT, as a NYC real estate shyster he will try to "sell" 404 to Russia in exchange for China. He will fail. But he will try. I hope Doug Macgregor gets some position in his cabinet and will explain to him what REAL war is.

Well, Well, Well...

... Son of a Gun did it again. Congrats to President-elect Donald J. Trump. It is a very convincing win. Now, getting buckets of pop-corn in anticipation of appointments to his cabinet. Then we'll talk.  Hey, at least America will have a hot First Lady again--that's a plus. In all honesty, Melania is a class act.

Yes, Absolutely He Can...

He also can fly to Mars, invent vaccine against everything and also get Nobel Prize in Physics.

But Donald Trump may well be different from Biden and Harris. I believe he could be the engine of change that Ukraine needs. Why? Because Trump wants peace, and a peace on his terms, not Russia’s. If he wins, Trump could achieve this by delivering an ultimatum to each side. To Ukraine, he would push President Volodymyr Zelensky to the negotiating table through the lever of U.S. support. To Russia, he could threaten exactly the opposite: An expansion of U.S. support for Ukraine and withering economic warfare against Russia.

This ultimatum would be highly effective. The last three months of the war have exhausted both sides, and this is clear in the situation at the front. A few days ago, Russia made its last desperate attack on four out of five main directions of the Ukrainian front. In this massive though underreported attack, Russia was able to capture about a dozen villages. But now the Russian offensive potential has been exhausted. After large losses in manpower and equipment, the lack of not only strategic but also tactical reserves afflicts the Russians just as the rainy season hits. Since “chernozem” black soil is very common there, it will be impossible to use heavy equipment. Thus, a combination of factors will force Russia to halt until January.

This delirium is published by The Hill pretending to be a media outlet, not tabloid which it is, and penned by:

Alexander Temerko is a Ukrainian-British businessman and political activist, energy investor, and Councillor of the Institute of Economic Affairs.

Temerko is a consummate product of 404 since exhibits traits characteristic of population of former Ukraine which is Mriya (Мрия). No, not the name of famous giant airplane An-225 since its moniker Mriya, given to it by the Soviet Union which built it, is indeed Ukrainian for the Dream. No, nowadays Mriya in 404 means more than just some dream, it is dream taken to its ultimate limit and even beyond it--into the space which exists only after some serious input of controlled substances. It is in this space where the average khohol has 404 being the member of NATO, EU and Intergalactic League of Sexual Reforms, and not just the full member, but member who is admired and each citizen of 404 is paid Euro 10,000 a month while supervising the defeated Russia and its miserable population, ordering those Russkies to the left and to the right.

That's Mriya. Temerko, same as The Hill people who published this Mriya, is exactly the type--404 version of Chalabi, selling sycophantic BS to Washington which is always lustful after praise. This is the level of the planners in Washington who also, long ago, reside in Mriya land where anything is possible--like scaring Russia with ultimatum, or defeating her on the battlefield or even more outrageously--teaching Washington about real economics, real war, real history, about its real place in the larger scheme of things... Oh boy, it feels like I begin to float even further into void of this Mriya and I merely took my 20 oz morning latte... Don't do drugs, kids.

Larry Wilkerson...

 ... says the same.

I mean what I said today about NYT schizophrenic article.

Nikiforova Is Ruthless But Realistic.

Russians, indeed, are not coming. Galloway and Nikiforova are saying what many are afraid to say. A bit of Osipov-Lanchester for prostitutes from NYT. Or, per Larry, schizophrenics. Both definitions work.

I Always Suspected...

... that Joe was a KGB asset--to demolish the United States so thoroughly one has to be an operations of influence virtuoso. Luckily, we can now disclose Joe's (Colonel Iosif Robertovich Bidenov) identity, since the operation is over and Iosif Robertovich is back home, in his apartment in the apartment block at Lenin's Street in the city of Syzran, recovering from a long work under deep cover.

In all seriousness, however, neural networks today are capable of incredible emulations and I think that this is the case with this "Biden". Albeit, as strange as it may sound--Russians have several phenotypes some of which are indistinguishable from Scandinavian and even Anglo-Saxon types, which, BTW, often creates a cognitive dissonance in many Western first-time visitors to Russia who encounter these types, not Asiatic-looking people, albeit even among them, e.g. Tatars, you often can encounter incredibly European-looking men and women. Many of them could be down right beautiful if not drop dead gorgeous, enough to recall Alina Zagitova, Alina Kabaeva or Kamila Valieva. So, the point is--I will not be surprised if there is a Biden's doppelganger in Russia. After all, look what happened to Richard Gere after spending a week in Kazakh aul (village) on the All-inclusive package... This one, I can guarantee it--is not neural network.

But... after all we're only ordinary men...(c).

George Is Absolutely Correct...

... Russians are not coming, especially not in a military sense.

This is the photo I was talking about. GDR, T-34-85 in 1991 with the writing: Liberate Us Again, or Free Us Again...

Russia obliged. This is my mantra--never again the foot of the Russian soldier must step on the European soil, whatever the upheaval there. Old Europe is dead and what's left is an entity which is totally alien to any human reason and decency. If ever Europe decides to repeat feats of Teutonic Knights, Poles, Napoleon or Hitler, Russia should turn it into the glass parking lot. If Europe needs anything from Russia--let it beg for it.

Oldies But Goldies...

It is Friday and time to reminisce about happy childhood in early 1960s...

Getting into christmacy mood early...

About Microchips... Again.

Although, it is Friday, here are some really earth-shaking news of how Russia solves the issue of... washing machines, you know--to extract microchips. It is in Russian, but it explains why Russian satellites, missiles, submarines and, yes, washing machines continue to be produced and work. The title of the article is menacing for the cabal of globalists who never knew anything about Russia and her history.

Представлено российское оборудование для производства чипов до 90 нм и тоньше!

Translation: The Russian-made equipment for fabrication of microchips of 90 nanometers and smaller has been presented.

This is purely technical text and Google will do good enough job translating it. As has been stated before, Russia has whole technological process (from lithography to support systems) in 36 nm range already in place and getting ready for serial production.

Bismarck Had The Right Idea.

But it was ignored by the combined West.

It Is Obviously Putin's Fault.

 Or, generally speaking, of Russia.

Because, you know, these were Russians who set political agenda in Germany and who voted for Germany's political parties. In the end, Germany has this... philosopher in charge of own economy, or rather what's left of it.

Germany's reliance on China, Russia was like being 'doped': vice chancellor. Berlin to push ahead with derisking, doesn't face structural recession: Robert Habeck

Yes, he is absolutely correct, Germany already lost Russian market (solvent and largest in Europe as a single country), now they will try to lose Chinese one. Not to mention the fact that Germany is increasingly non-competitive with pretty much anyone. Germany's pride of her automotive industry and Siemens... well, Russia is doing just fine without them. China... look at it...

Pretty much speaks for itself. And you already heard this news:

WOLFSBURG, Germany, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Volkswagen (VOWG_p.DE) plans to shut at least three factories in Germany, lay off tens of thousands of staff and shrink its remaining plants in Europe's biggest economy as it plots a deeper-than-expected overhaul, the company's works council head said on Monday. Europe's biggest carmaker has been negotiating for weeks with unions over plans to revamp its business and cut costs, including considering plant closures on home soil for the first time, in a blow to Germany's industrial prowess.

Make your own conclusions on this matter. I am sure that also will be blamed on Russia...
