... Colonel of the Soviet Air Force, today a Monk, Father Kiprian (Colonel Burkov) with Alexander Ivanov (of Rondo band, BTW, which rocked the shit out of Budokan in 1990s, as did Russian rock-band St. Petersburg) singing a few days ago.
In 1992 Rondo with Ivanov sang the song which was so powerful, that many do not want to feel it--it was called I Will Return (I am not going to provide the translation)--it is NOT about the geographic return, it is about redemption. And that is what it has been happening ever since--redemption.
